Summary: Hope watches the rescue drama (back in Salem) unfold on TV, as Shawn, Philip and Bo save Chelsea…Marlena spends a strange wedding night with the 3 Romans.

Marlena and the 3 Romans…John and Roman spend the evening together (not really sure where they are, I thought maybe at Kate’s but she is no where to be seen). Anyway, where ever they are, they have a view of Marlena’s penthouse. John is pacing the floor, wanting to go over to the penthouse to check on Marlena. Roman, however, doesn’t seem as concerned, reading a book. John goes to leave, but Roman stops him. John asks what is he going to do…shoot him? Roman warns him if he makes an effort to go over there, he will have him arrested. But John is sure that Marlena is in danger and accuses Roman of not giving a damn about her. Roman gets angry, saying they must act within the law but John says he knows she is in trouble and has no one to save her. Meanwhile at the penthouse, creepy Alex and Marlena are in bed. She is asleep as he talks to her, saying that she belongs to him now. He says all his plans are coming true and no one can take her away and that her suffering is about to begin anew. He says that they will be leaving Salem soon and that she will begin to pay. She wakes up and is startled to see him, asking what is he doing there. He informs her that they are married and she refuses to believe him, saying she would NEVER marry him…she loves John. (We have REAL Marlena back…for a few minutes). She accuses him of being a liar and he tells her that it looks like he will have to increase her dosage. She is puzzled as he explains that he has been drugging her for months now. She tries to run but he gets out a syringe, telling her to take her medicine or he will be forced to hurt her. She runs over to the terrace as he pins her against the glass. Across the way, John continues to pace the floor as Roman suggests they order room service or play cards. John notices the lights are on in the bedroom and takes the binoculars. He sees Alex has her pinned against the glass and her calling for help. He calls Roman over to have a look-see, but when he looks, there is no one there. (That is because Alex has thrown her on to the bed). John tries to convince Roman what he saw but he sees nothing. John looks again and doesn’t see them either. John tries to convince Roman of what he saw, and for some reason, Roman tends to believe him. So they decide to go over and check it out.

They arrive at the penthouse (as John wants to break down the door) and Roman knocks and calls for Alex to open up. He opens the door as John charges in calling for Marlena. Alex asks what the hell they are doing there as John says he knows what he did. Alex is furious and wants John arrested. (LOL…Alex is standing there smiling and Roman tells him “Stop smirking…I HATE smirking”. Roman tells Alex to get Marlena down there (Alex says she is asleep) John tells about seeing them and Alex claims it was intense love-making (no comment) and calls John pathetic for spying on them. Marlena comes down asking what they are doing there. John and Roman both ask if she is okay, John saw Alex attack her. She denies it and says she is fine, he didn’t hurt her (as we see a flashback of him giving her a shot). Alex tells her that John must have seen them making love (which embarrasses her). She is upset that John was spying and tells them both to leave…and if they come back, she will have them arrested. John and Roman leave, but both can tell that something is wrong. In the hall, they discuss this, both sure that she is acting against her will. They both believe it, but have no evidence. John fears that if Alex takes Marlena out of Salem, he may try and kill her. John says he will stop him, even if he has to kill him…he doesn’t care even if he does go to prison. Inside, Alex smiles, saying John is making it so easy…just like leading a lamb to the slaughter.

Out in the street…there is a replay of Shawn and Philip freeing Chelsea. She is climbing out of the manhole when it explodes. Bo says he is going back down…his kids are down there. Meanwhile, the reporter is giving an update about the explosion (as Hope and Patrick are watching on TV). She refuses to believe and says she can’t lose another son…and her husband….God can’t be that cruel. Bo goes down the hole and comes out with Chelsea in his arms as Hope screams for him to save Shawn. She realizes that it is Chelsea which infuriates her that he would choose her over Shawn. She goes off on how he saved their son’s killer and how she didn’t accept responsibility. She sees it as Bo choosing Chelsea over Shawn and now he may be dead as well. She says she didn’t want Chelsea to die, but what if Shawn gave his life to save Bo’s daughter. Back at the scene, Belle rushes over asking about Philip and Shawn. Bo starts back down, as Chelsea begs him not to…saying she can’t lose him (Hope seeing all this). A hand reaches out of the hole…it’s Philip saying he’s okay. Everyone is now yelling for Shawn as he crawls out as well. Billie wants Chelsea checked out as she tells Bo she doesn’t know what she would have done without him, hugging him. The reporter comes over and jams the microphone in Billie’s face, calling her Mrs. Brady. She corrects him and he apologizes and congratulates them. He asks Bo how it feels to have his daughter back. He says he is glad his family is okay. Hope (seeing this) says FAMILY?...FAMILY?. She watches the screen, telling Shawn how much she loves him and couldn’t bear losing him as well and hugs Patrick. He tries to encourage her, saying the positive is that Shawn and Bo are both alive, but she is distraught, saying that Bo said that Chelsea and Billie are his family. Patrick reminds her that Bo was going back down to save Shawn, but Hope says Chelsea was trying to stop him and that she has him wrapped around her little finger. She says if Billie and Bo hadn’t found Chelsea…maybe Zack would still be alive. She says now she understands why Bo asked for a divorce…he has moved on…with Billie and Chelsea.

Bo and Billie talk about how Chelsea must have been terrified and Bo blames himself for coming down on her so hard earlier (insert flashback here of him railing her out). He says he was upset over Hope asking for the divorce and took it out on Chelsea. He says he could have lost her as well because of his anger. Billie tells him that they have to keep in mind that they are her parents and she needs to know that they love her…but he can’t let her manipulate him…someone needs to call her on her crap. Mimi and Belle think that Shawn and Philip need to be checked out, so they go to see the EMT’s. While they are gone, Mimi comes down on Belle for being so concerned about Shawn…even more than her own husband. The reporter comes over and tells them that he was impressed with them and proceeds to interview Belle, calling her Mrs. Brady. Mimi stops him and corrects him, saying SHE is Mrs. Brady. The reporter apologizes and wraps up his report. Mimi tells Belle that she can see right through her and thanks for such a nice wedding gift. She tells her that Shawn is HER husband and to back off. At the EMT station, Chelsea tries to thank Shawn for saving her, but he doesn’t want to talk to her, telling her that he would have done the same for a stray dog and walks off (you GO Shawn!) Billie comes over asking Chelsea how she fell, but she doesn’t want to talk about it as Mimi continues to chew on Belle for her feelings for Shawn and says that now, everyone watching on TV saw it as well. Bo comes over to Shawn and asks him if he has heard from Hope or if she knows where she is. Shawn has a flashback of Hope telling him she was going to Morgan Island, but he doesn’t tell Bo, saying if he really wanted to find her, he could. He then tells his dad that he had better get back to his FAMILY, Billie and Chelsea, and walks off. Bo and Billie decide they need to take Chelsea to the hospital and walk off together with her, as the reporter wraps up, showing them (as Hope sees this).

Patrick turns off the TV and Hope is quiet. He tells her that they will be back in Salem tomorrow, but she tells him no…she doesn’t want to go home. He asks her what about Bo and she says he has Billie and Chelsea now…there is no reason for her to go back to Salem…as the previews show…




Lexie: What if we could just start over, you know… (Abe): Lexie, please…

Jennifer (to Frankie, who is in the shower): I was just wondering if there was enough room to join you in there…(Frankie): Absolutely…

Hope (on the phone): There is something I need to talk to you about…I want a divorce…

Chelsea (to Bo): You aren’t going to love me anymore Dad…especially after I tell you what I did…
