Summary: Carrie and Lucas have your typical Salem wedding…with guests up wandering around, talking aloud, interrupting and of course those that never even make it inside the church. But even with all the distractions (including a few hesitations on Carrie’s part and a last-ditch effort on Kate’s part) they are hitched….Steve meets his daughter…the green-eyed monster in Chelsea wakes up…and we learn that Stephanie and EJ have a past of some sorts.

Outside the church…Steve and Kayla are in the garden. He talks about how he must have been one lucky guy but is still sorry he can’t remember…she must be so disappointed. She is sad for him because she has such wonderful memories of their lives together and he doesn’t. He agrees, that from all the pictures she has shown him, he can tell that they were happy. Kayla is sure that when he meets Stephanie it will help him remember. He picks a rose from the garden and gives it to her, telling her she is beautiful and they head inside.

Abby and Cheslea are also wandering around outside as Abby is worrying about her dad. They see Max and Stephanie arrive as Chelsea comments that he sure doesn’t waste any time. Max is still questioning Stephanie (she won’t tell him who she is). EJ arrives and watches them from the bushes, wondering why she is there as well. Chelsea’s shows her jealous streak as Abby reminds her that THIS is exactly what she wanted. Max (still trying to figure out who she is) asks Stephanie if she is a friend of the bride or the groom and she finally tells him the bride, but since that is HIS connection as well, cannot figure out why he doesn’t know who she is. She explains that she knows all about him…he and Frankie were adopted by the Brady’s and that he didn’t speak for a long time, etc. This confuses him even more, not knowing how she knows all about him. You can tell she is enjoying this and tells him to relax, all will be revealed soon…she is having too much fun with it right now. She suggests they get inside for the wedding. But they don’t get too far…in the entry area, they run into her mom and dad (the wedding is already in progress…in fact, it is almost over by now). Steve and Stephanie stare at each other. Kayla tells her she isn’t going to believe this…but this is her papa. She turns to him and says Steve, this is our daughter. Steve, Kayla, Stephanie and Max all head back outside.

Meanwhile, the wedding is in progress…We have the procession…as Belle (escorted by Philip), Billie (escorted by Will) and Sami (escorted by Austin) all make their way down the aisle. Next Roman escorts Carrie down the aisle (as we see Lexie slip in the back, with Kate watching her like a hawk). The service begins as Carrie mumbles “I can’t…I can’t”. She recovers and says she can’t wait to be Lucas’s wife. Kate jumps up and makes a bee-line to Lexie, dragging her into the entry area, telling her they need to talk, as Sami watches them. Kate begins to pump her for information as Lexie resists. (Lexie has flashbacks of her threatening phone call from the glove). She tells Kate there is nothing she can do to help her. Father Jansen asks if there is any reason they should not be joined and Kate barges down the aisle, saying that Lexie Carver has something to say and Sami looks like a deer caught in the headlights. Lexie says that she made a terrible mistake recently and it has cost her marriage. She just advises that Carrie and Lucas be sure about this and that they love each other before continuing…and always be honest with each other and themselves. Just be sure that they love each other…that is all. Kate huffs and plops down to her seat in disgust. There is mumbling all around as Alice tells Maggie she is worried about Carrie. Carrie finally speaks up and says she is there today because she loves Lucas and wants to marry him and the service continues (as Carrie has a flashback of Lexie’s news ). Father Jansen’s service includes something about them having children and raising them. Carrie talks directly to Will about how she already loves him and can’t wait to have their own children. LOL as Will stumbles around, not knowing what to call her… “Aunt Carrie…Mom…Carrie”. (cute). Kate has Lexie cornered again at the back of the church, needling her once again (give it a rest, Kate) as Maggie tells Alice that she is so proud of Lucas. They are now up to the vows and after the “I do’s” they light the unity candle.

Lexie heads toward the doors with Kate on her heels vowing to find out what is going on (geez, she is just like a gnat). She says that Lexie underestimates her and that when she brings Sami down, Lexie will get caught in the crossfire…and so be it. Carrie and Lucas exchange rings as Lucas talks about how he has loved Carrie since the first time he saw her (insert old flashbacks here as he talks). He says this is the happiest day of his life. Carrie thanks him for always being there for her and being her best friend and how happy she is to become his wife. Father Jansen pronounces them man and wife and presents them to the congregation amidst whistles and applause from the crowd. Roman kisses her on their way out as Kate (now back in her seat) sits and stews in her juices. After the service, she is brooding as Roman asks her what is wrong with her…she should be happy for Lucas. He says he knows she is worried about Austin and Sami and asks her to do him a favor and leave them alone. Sami and Austin talk as Austin keeps an eye on Carrie and the guests begin to file out of the church.

Back outside…Max is shocked to finally find out who Stephanie is. Abby and Chlesea are lurking (they never made it inside) and hear as well. Stephanie is in shock to finally meet her father and asks how is it possible. Kayla explains that they all have lots of questions. He explains that up until a few days ago, he was Nick Stockton and didn’t know much else. Stephanie rushes into his arms crying and hugging him, telling him she has missed him. He cries as well as he strokes her hair, sad that he doesn’t even remember his baby girl. Funny exchange as Chelsea is relieved to learn that Stephanie is Max’s neice…but Abby reminds her that SHE is as well. Chelsea says “I am not by blood”…but Abby says well, neither is Stephanie. Chelsea huffs and says “this stupid town is SO incestuous”. Abby says tell me about it. (ROFLMAO!!) Chelsea has already decided she doesn’t like Stephanie one bit, and Abby knows it is because she arrived with Max. Shawn and Caroline come out and are surprised and thrilled to see Stephanie (hugs all around). Kayla apologizes that they didn’t make it inside for the ceremony, but they understand. Stephanie tells them all she didn’t tell anyone she was coming because she wanted to surprise them all, but she turned out getting the best surprise of all (her dad). Pop talks about how all of them are thrilled about that and Caroline asks Steve if seeing Stephanie has helped. He says no. Stephanie tells them she is there for a race as Steve knows about her career. He says that Kayla told him that she got her wild and dangerous side from him. He says that now, all of a sudden, he feels protective of her. Kayla is sure that the more time he spends with them, the more he will remember. Max asks Stephanie why she was so secretive with her and she admits she was enjoying it. He asks if she has any more secrets…just as EJ walks up behind her and calls her name. They hug as he says it is wonderful to see her (as Max, Chelsea and Abby all watch).

Inside the church, Carrie thanks Belle for all her help as she and Philip offer their congratulations. Shawn tells them he got a message from the doctor and he wants them all at the hospital as soon as possible, so they go tearing out of there like a heard of wild buffalo. Later, they are at the hospital as Mimi is stressing and Shawn and Belle are trying to calm her down. “The glove” is lurking…watching…as we see yet another flashback of the switch. Philip tells them that he got word that their surrogate is on her way there as well.

Ouside, Max asks EJ and Stephanie if they know each other but they are vague. EJ goes on about what a good racer she is. Max thanks him for the heads up and asks Stephanie to accompany him to the reception. She suggests they all go together and they head off. Chelsea is fuming because she isn’t the center of attention and Abby calls her on it. Chelsea says she is just going to walk up to “Miss Thing” and tell her she was there first. (Abby is amused by all this..as am I). Steve fears that he may have scared Stephanie away, but Kayla suggest they go to the reception so they can spend more time together. He fears that if he can’t remember them, there is no way they can become a family. Lucas and Carrie are talking about their child on the way and Lucas is going on and on about how happy he is. Sami tells Austin that they are next. Kate and Billie talk as Kate wishes Bo had been there to see how beautiful she is. Billie immediately changes the subject, saying that this is Lucas’s day. Kate starts about how she is going to break up Austin and Sami as Billie says she is afraid to ask. She says that Sami is going to self-destruct (as she looks over in EJ’s direction). Freeze frame on Sami and Austin hugging with Kate in the background…as the previews show…

Bo (to Hope): No matter how things turn out…I will always love you. (Hope): Even if Patrick is the father?...

Sami (to EJ): Why are you so determined to postpone my wedding?...

Carrie (to Austin): I am so glad you are still in my life…even though I married your brother. (Austin): I will always be here for you Carrie…

Kayla (to Steve): Someone staged your death and erased your memory…(Steve): Who would do such a thing?...(Kayla): Stefano DiMera!...
