Episode #: 10539
Tape Date: 3/7/07
Air Date: 4/2/07
Director: Albert Alarr

Summary: Kayla urges Max to go for it with Abby…while Jack orders Abby to stay away from Max…EJ is devastated over Sami’s news, but Celeste is sure he is playing her…Philip and Kate question Gabby about Shawn and Belle, but she protects them.

On the plane…
They talk about what happened as Kayla says she now has the proof she needs and they toast burying EJ Wells. He talks about how much he misses Frankie and how he is lost without him around. Kayla can identify, saying she felt the same as when she lost Steve. Max jokes that Frankie is NOT the love of HIS life. He talks about finding that someone special and Kayla asks if that could be Abby Deveraux. Max is a bit embarrassed about it but Kayla thinks Abby could be good for him. She asks about Mimi and he says they have both moved on. He talks about how he has never felt this way before and it’s a bit scary, but Abby is different. He talks about how he screwed up other relationships but Kayla assures him that he will be okay. He talks about how innocent Abby is, but Kayla says taking it slow is a good thing. He is only afraid he may break her heart. She tells him that he needs to go to Abby and tell her everything but he is unsure. An announcement is made that the plane will be landing at JFK in 15 minutes. Kayla says it’s his decision…he can stay on the plane with his sister…or he can go and find the love of his life.

At her Hotel…
The new Abby (played by Emily Montegue) is on the phone talking about how wonderful her trip is (not sure who with) when there is a knock at the door and she opens it to be surprised by her dad, yes, it’s Jack. She hugs him, telling him she loves him. He talks about meeting some singer in the elevator (acting like he didn’t know who it was) and we learn it was Gwen Stefani. He even got her autograph. Jack offers a carriage ride in the park, but Abby thinks that may be for lovers. Jack says, speaking of that, he talked to her Aunt Maggie and knows about Max. He isn’t too happy about it, but Abby swears they are just hanging out and having fun. Jack wants to know what KIND of fun, but then decides he doesn’t want to know. She swears it’s innocent and says she knows about Max’s past and that is just what it is…his past. Jack tries to discourage her but she is determined that Max is the one. He says he and Jennifer talked about it and both agree, they want her to get her education…and it’s not just Max, but don’t want her distracted by any guy. They want her to enjoy her college life. Abby says if it will make them happy, then she promises that Max will not interfere with her education. They hug and then decide to go down to Times Square as Jack goes to change. Abby gets a phone call from Max asking about her trip. She talks about how her and her dad are having a great time. He tells her about taking a trip with Kayla and they had a layover at JFK. Abby is a bit bummed that he was in New York and didn’t see him. Just then, there is a knock at the door and she opens it to find him standing there. She is excited to see him and they hug, but then she tells him he has to go, because her dad will think she planned it this way. Too late…Jack is at the door knocking.

On the Island…

Philip questions Gabby as Shawn watches and listens nearby. Kate is there as well, complaining about having to hitch a ride on a chicken truck (as she brushes away feathers, lol). Philip shows Gabby a picture of Belle and Shawn, but Gabby says she hasn’t seen them. Kate and Philip talk about checking elsewhere as Shawn sneaks back up to the room and warns Belle that they have to get out of there. They rush around packing as Belle worries that it all depends on what Gabby tells them. Gabby covers for Shawn and Belle, but Philip isn’t convinced. Kate goes to the bar to help herself to a drink and finds a teething ring. Gabby makes up a story about a neighbor kid, but Philip calls her a liar. Belle and Shawn continue t pack as Shawn says he can distract them if she and Claire make a getaway. And he will join them later, but she refuses to be separated from him. Philip grabs Gabby and shakes her demanding the truth as she finally calls him a jerk and tells them that yes, Belle, Shawn and Claire were there, but they are gone now. Kate has to drag Philip away from her as Gabby continues to tell them that Shawn and Belle are gone. Shawn has sneaked back downstairs to see what is going on as Gabby whips out the ring and shows it to Philip, telling him that they left it with her as payment on their debt. Upstairs, Belle remembers that she never got her ring back. Gabby tells Philip that Shawn, Belle and Claire are long gone and there is his proof.

At Sami’s…
A dejected EJ was so sure that he was the father and tells Sami that he is in shock. He talks about how he wanted to be a father so bad and has himself a pity party. She says she is only happy that he won’t be a part of her life and for him to just get over it. He tells her that it is her loss as well. She says that this is the best news she could have gotten and tells him she has things to do…like plan a wedding. EJ talks about how Stefano told him about Tony’s weakness for the ladies and he was determined that he wouldn’t make that mistake, but his feelings for Sami were real. She agrees that maybe once, long ago, she felt that way too, but not after she found out who he really was…and he shot John…and raped her. She says that now she knows Lucas is the father and they are done forever…and nothing will ever connect them again. EJ reminds her that if he hadn’t picked her up on that road, there would be no wedding, for Lucas would be dead. She only wants one thing from him…to forget that they ever made that deal. As they go to shake on it, he grabs her hand and kisses it, talking about what could have been. On his way out the door, he says she is the only woman in the world that could have made him into what she thought he was in the beginning. After he leaves, Celeste comes by. Sami tells her that EJ bought it, but Celeste says she doesn’t have a clue about what is going on. She says he played her like a violin but Sami thinks his feelings were genuine. Celeste says he was just playing her and she bought it. Sami says it is over now but Celeste says she is being foolish…it is only the beginning…she must either destroy EJ Wells or he will destroy her. She warns her to be afraid for her child. But Sami doesn’t want to hear it when Celeste warns her he will be back for her baby. Sami asks her to leave as Celeste tells her to consider it. Sami tells her he is out of her life now and she would prefer Celeste stay out of it as well as she slams the door.

Later, EJ is in a bar when Kayla calls him. She tells him she has been in Italy. He tries to get rid of her, but she tells him that she now has the proof to put him away forever…then she tells “Elvis” to enjoy his evening and hangs up. He rushes out of the bar. Kayla holds a picture of Steve, telling him that EJ will not hurt their family again.

At Chez Rouge…
Nick is agonizing over his decision. Maggie asks him what is wrong and he tells her how a friend asked him to do something and he did, but now another friend is asking a favor, but he turned them down. He is upset because he didn’t help the second one. He says he could have, easily, but didn’t know if he should have. Maggie tells him that a true friend would never ask him to compromise his principles. Later he goes back to the lab, seeming to have made up his mind to take the brush. He argues with himself over it, but eventually goes on inside…only to find EJ at his work station. Nick goes to call security, but EJ takes the phone and not-so-subtly threatens to strangle him with the cord, then leaves as Nick gulps. In the hallway, EJ stops to place a call and leave a message for Lucas, saying he is a doctor at University Hospital. He says that he needs to come in…there was a problem with Samantha Brady’s amnio…as the previews show…

Philip (to Gabby): Which is why I am not leaving here until I know for a fact that you are telling the truth…

Lucas (to EJ): Why don’t you just get over it?... (EJ): Get over WHAT?... (Lucas): Your sick obsession with Sami, that’s what…

Sami (to Nick): There is NO WAY this baby is EJ’s…(Nick): No way?... (Sami): It is totally and completely impossible…

Steve (holding Kayla down): Stay away from those people…(Kalya): Get off me!...Stop it!...as he kisses her…

And the credits roll…
Laney

Dear Early Edition Readers:

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce that today will be the final EARLY EDITION for us. As long time followers remember, we started our day ahead spoilers over ten years ago when we started posting on discussion boards, Dustin’s website and then got our own permanent home. Over the years, we have enjoyed hearing from so many of you from around the world as to how our summaries kept you abreast of our Salemites' storylines.

Unfortunately, the time has come and we have unanimously decided to say goodbye. Unlike when we started the day ahead summaries, today’s technology with DVR’s/TIVOs and lots of other DOOL websites and recaps on the internet, it has become easier for anyone to record or read what’s going on without us. We appreciate all of your accolades about our thoroughness in reporting the storylines, but that thoroughness means, rising earlier, a few hours of watching, typing up and posting…time that we just can’t spare anymore. To be honest, the storylines aren’t grabbing our attention that much anymore either, and even we aren’t always watching when it’s not our own day to do a summary.

We want to say thanks to Jenn, the webmaster of the SALEM PLACE DISCUSSION BOARD for providing an alternate site for posting our summaries over the years. We’ve all made many friends there and will continue to frequent her site. We also thank Dustin for posting our summaries in the earlier days and for continuing to provide links to both Early Edition and Salem Place Discussion Board on his site.

So, friends and fans…thank you very much for visiting our site over the years…it’s been a blast! Please don’t email asking for us to change our minds, because we won’t. We’ve removed our email addresses from the site as well. We’ll leave the site up for reference to our archives.

And last but not least…NO, this is not an April Fool’s joke…sadly, this is for real. Sometimes, LIFE just happens! Thanks to all of you...you have made it all worthwhile. For the show that brought us all together, we wish continued success in the future.

Sincerely,
Barb, Laney, Linda & Sandra

PS. On one final note:

We recommend another sight for very detailed day-ahead previews. Just be warned, if you are sensitive to your "favorites", no character is safe there...they are all lampooned on a daily basis. It is completely tongue in cheek and dripping with sarcasm, but personally, (I have a wicked sense of humor and) usually leave the site chuckling...sometimes LMAO! That aside, it is a very detailed write up and you may want to check it out:

http://www.prevuze.blogspot.com/

Also, if you are a "Marlena" fan...Bev does wonderful day-ahead previews and photos on the days that Marlena will be on the show (which, these days seems like hardly ever).

Her detailed previews can be found at:

and her day-ahead photos (with commentary) can be found at:

Comments:
Will the past posts be kept up here for viewing? I refer to them often- when trying to figure out how a story got to where it is--sometimes I missed the smallest detail, and I can find by reading about shows posted months and YEARS ago..

Wow - how sad. I am a new reader, and must say I just loved it knowing ahead what was happening. I have watched Days since in first came on the air, and was lucky enough to even see the set in Hollywood in person.
Good luck to you, and I will miss the "Early Editions"

mrs. "t"

I've been coming to your site for over 5 years now... I hate to see you all go, but understand why. Thank you for the years of updates, I really appreciate each of your for what you did for us.

I am sad to read this because the Early Edition posts have been wonderful. I am sure that it has been quite a commitment and I appreciate all of you taking your time to report on the day-ahead for so many years. Thanks!

Thanks for the memories and sharing them with us. Sorry to see you go. Hope we still can use the discussion board? Guess I'll check and see from time to time as I've always enjoy reading your posts...

Good luck with your future...

Sure sorry about this, sometimes when I miss the show your posts are so detailed its like I never missed any of it. Do appreciate the hard work you've put into this over the years.
Will miss the "Early Edition" greatly.

Deborah

It's sad to see you go. You have been very helpful to me on days when I'm busy with the kids and other things. I appreciate all that you have done for me and other readers. Thank you again and enjoy you future life!

I have never made a post on this website, but I read it everyday. I will really miss it. Not only do you make reading it like really seeing it, but I also enjoyed all of the funny little comments. You said the things we all felt. You will be missed!!!!!!!!!

It has been my pleasure to visit the EE site for over five years now, and while I am extremely saddened to hear that this will be the last EE, I do understand! Life is much more than just a soap opera. You guys did such a great job and I loved your personal comments added in. You will be so missed! Thank you for all the years of hard work!

Thank you, Barb, Laney, Linda & Sandra, for all the time and effort you put into "early edition"
I am both new to days and your site.. I started watching less than a year ago and a friend told me about your site a few months ago.
I will miss your daily postings,
Thankyou again....

WOWOWOWOW. I'm so sad to hear this. There's no other place on the web that went into so much detail on the events happening on Days. I always felt through reading it here, I was actually watching it on TV. What a sad time.

I understand, but you could of gave us a little more notice.

Been coming here and reading for 5 or 6 years now. Thanks for helping me keep up on Days. Been watching since I was a kid. Lost a few years when I returned to work, a friend introduced me to your site and I was able to keep up and even ahead.

Great work and thanks much. You will be missed.

I'm so sad to hear this! I've been reading The Early Edition for some time now and it's the only way I keep up with the show I started watching (around the time Marlena was a sucubus!) Thank you for all the work that you've done and for continueing to do it for so long, you will be missed.

oh my gosh, so sad to hear this. the only way i even keep up with the show is through your early edition! however, i understand that life happens, so thanks for all the years of wonderful commentary and great summary. i will miss it dearly!

Thank you to all of y'all for sparing what free time you had to satisfy us DOOL junkies (lol). I wish y'all the best and thank you so much again. The early edition will be greatly missed!! Take Care!!

Thanks so much guys for your years of posts. I have fallen out of watching Days, but have kept up with the story lines through your postings. You will be sadly missed, but I appreciate what you have done. All the best to you.

For me, you guys have been a godsend. Between work and other commitments, I don't get to watch television anymore. Reading your updates in their detail made me feel as though I never missed an episode. I will truly miss reading this every day.

I wish you all well and thank you.

I also will miss EE and all of you greatly!! I record Days every day (even if I'm home) and thanks to reading your reports ahead of time, I always knew which scenes to fast-forward through...all 4 of you did a tremendous job, it's been fun reading you every day, and I especially loved your 'personal comments' you'd add...I feel like I'm losing my best friends, but I understand your reasons for ending it...I wish all 4 of you the best...

Thank you! I have taken your hard work and time for granted since finding your site. I will miss your detailed and humorous descriptions of life in Salem. I have greatly enjoyed reading your summaries every day and I agree with many here about your sidebar comments! I have laughed out loud more than once. Again, thanks for doing all you've done for as long as you have!

Just wanted to post a note to say Thanks for Creating EE. I have read it each day for many years. As a 40 something male I can't tell you how much crap I have taken when I tell people I not only have followed Days since my youth, but actually read a site that tells me what happen a day ahead of time... It's all been worth it... I have been following days since the early years when Alice was young looking. I agree with your last post that the story line is just not grabbing you any more, but I think all us days lovers can agree there have been many years like that.... Still your dedications has been unmatched and I thank you! This is a sad time just like back in the day when we were told some of our favorite TV shows were going of the air.... Worse we can go to TV Land to see them... EE is gone forever!! Sad Day... Real Sad Day!!

WOW This will be a great loss! I have watched Days since it started. I always enjoy reading your ED's knowing I wouldn't miss a day if I was not at home to watch.Good luck, but soooo sorry to see you leave. :<

Like so many others, I will truly miss the Early Edition. Thanks so much for sharing your time with me over the years! I've loved your daily posts and the movie parody posters. You all are wonderful! I truly hope you enjoy your new found free time. Thanks again!

I am very sad to read this news today. :( I don't have the time to watch Days and loved keeping up on it by reading your posts. So, I certainly understand all the time and effort you put into watching, writing and posting these Early Editions! Thank you so much for giving your precious time and energy to us for so many 'Days'(sorry couldn't resist!) All of your posts and your hilarious comments will be greatly missed! Best wishes!

I have been reading your summaries every day for seven years - as soon as I got out of college and into the real world and couldn't watch Days anymore. I will truly miss your summaries, and mostly, your personal comments throughout them. Best of luck in the future.

Where do I go to find anything out, I work and this is the only place I could keep up with my DOOL. I will sadly miss all of you. May God bless and keep you and yours always.

I hate to see you leave, but I have so enjoyed reading your updates everyday and have done so for 9 years. I've changed jobs 3 times and each time I made sure to take the URL with me. I will miss the "Days" of Marlena and the "Whale Spout", you hit the nail on the head. Have a GREAT life.

I am just getting into the Early Edition...and now you are leaving! So sad!!!! I will miss you and you're funny quirks too.

God bless!

I will surely miss all of you, but can understand that situations change. Best of luck to all of you.

I am completely bummed out. I have been an avid reader of this site for many years :( Good luck to you all

David

i tired reading the prevuse site but there is just too much going on there, lol. It made me miss you guys even more. Boo. :(

I've been with you since the beginning and will greatly miss the efforts that you all have put into this daily over the years. My day will not be complete for awhile, it will take some getting used to that there is no EE to check out!

Enjoy your new freedom!

I'm sad to see you guys go but I want to thank everyone that made all the day ahead summaries possible. Thank You!!!

Noooooo! I have relied on these posts for several years, too. It has been wonderful to read ahead and see if the show is worth watching. I loved all the little sideline comments that you would post, too. The Movie Parodies were terrific. I will miss this site very much. You were my break at work when I needed one.

Thank you for the past several years worth of work. I really appreciate it. - Becky

Thank you so much for the time and energy you put into this through the years. I hae been a reader for upwards of 5 years now and I will miss this. Thanks a million for everything. (and if you ever change your mind ;-), we will still be here)

I have been reading your post for the last 8 years and I will be lost without you but I understand. Thanks for all the blogs throughout the year, they were much appreciated!!

Best of Luck to all of you!

Kris

Like to say sorry to see you go, I read your spoilers everyday and look forward to them all the time. And another thing I hope this is not a April fool's. You guys sure know how pull one over on us.

Will miss coming here to catch up. I have been reading your posts since the Dustin site days. I have enjoyed all of the fun things that you've done through the years like the Salem Menus and I always loved the April Fools day posts that sometimes completely fooled me! I wish all of you health and happiness and just want to say thank you for all the time and effort you have put into these write ups. I don't know any of you personally but you have all been part of my life for so long now. You will be missed!!!

Thank you all for many years of dedication to this site and the entertainment you provided. Early Edition was my daily lunchtime reading. You are all very talented people. Best of luck in life. Barb -- please keep in touch from time to time.
Nancy in Florida

I'm truly disappointed that I will no longer be able to catch up anymore with you guys! I've really come to love your posts, and believe me when I say, I'll miss it. But I also understand....and appreciate all you have done. You are a dedicated group of people, and I wish you all the best!!
And on the storylines.....I've found myself not reading your posts for lack of interest in the current plots.:)
Thanks for a great time!

My day will have to be reorganized. Checking the Early Edition, was always read while I ate my lunch!

I've appreciated your efforts over the years, even though I taped most shows. It's always been run to read the side comments (noting who has custody of the Salem Brain today).

I will you all the best.

Sad, this is the only reading I ever do. :) Good ole' tivo time. :) I guess that means I'll have more productivity time at work too....hee hee...

Thank you all for all the time you have put into this site. I have read it daily and will miss it but I do understand that circumstances change. Best of luck to all of you and thanks again.

Well I am sorry to see this feature go. I enjoyed reading ahead to what was going to happen the next day. I guess I will just have to find out by watching like everyone else. Thanks for a great job.

Thank you so much for all your hard work over the years, especially when the story lines were so bad nobody really enjoyed the show. Your summaries were so good, many times I didn't even bother to tape the show. I appreciate all the time you have put into your web site and will really miss my daily dose of "Early Edition". I hope you all enjoy good health (especially Linda) and best of luck to all of you in the future!

After years of faithfully reading The Early Edition, it saddens me to see you go, but reminds me of how thankful we have all been for your dedication. Best of luck in all future endeavors.

Good luck to you! I will miss the "Early Editions."

Best of luck to you. Thank you for all the hard work.

I am sorry to see you guys go, I will miss you terribly, I read you everyday for the last 5 to 6 years,

Thanks for your hard work . but i sure do hope this is a aprils fools joke!

I have been reading your site for the last ten years! I can't believe it has come to an end. THANK YOU SOOOOOO much for the great summaries as you have kept me informed since I do not have Tivo, VCR and cannot watch during the day. Your site was much appreciated over the last ten years and I thank you for all your hard work and such.

Kathleen

Thanks for the memories and taking the time to write and post all those "day ahead" summaries. It's a the end of an era...

thanks a million! I really appreciated your summaries over the years. I wish you all the best. Miss Yah!!

i just wish that the old posts will remain , im from egypt and here the show is still in dec 2002so i think i really need the old posts to keep in touch, i also use it to figure out what happeend before, with thanks and best wishes.

Thank you for the dedication to the Early Editions through the years. I will really miss reading it everyday. That was the first thing I did each morning before work. Good Luck to all of you and thanks for everything.

I only found you a few months ago when I had problems with my recorder and since then have used this site to tell my mom 'oooh tomorrow's episode of Days is gonna be good!' It'll be hard to see you go and I'm sure I will be coming here for a few days because I didn't remember you're no longer posting summaries.

Good luck to all of you, you will be missed!

Now I am going to have to go back to watching the stupid show for an hour instead of reading it in 5 minutes! Thanks for all of the time that you guys have saved me!! I am grateful!

I am so sad that you are leaving but so appreciative of all your hardwork for so many years. All the best and thank you for so many years of laughs and even a tear or two. You are all amazing writers and will be greatly missed.

Dear EE:

I've been reading your spoilers for so long, I think I must have found you in the very beginning. Your site has always kept me linked to Days, as I have not always watched due to school, then work, and for so long now the lame stories. But I always looked forward to the EE. First thing in the mornings when coming into work, I'd get on the SP board and look for your post! Thank you so much for all the time you devoted to this! I can't post on the SP Board but I look forward to reading your future posts there! Take care to you all!

Ronda

Reading Early Edition has been my lunchtime entertainment for several years. What will I read at lunch now?? The other blog won't be the same. I am saddened but I thank you so much for all your hard work (your side comments were always right on). Best of luck to you all.

I will miss the Early Edition. I don't even watch the show anymore, I just come here and read. Then if I see tehre si something I must see-- I'll tape it.

Good luck in all your do and know that we appreciated what you did and we will miss it.

Thanks for the years of early editions. I found you in 1998 and have communicated with you from time to time. You have bailed me out when I have missed episodes or when the snow knocked out my early feed. I'll never forget Grettas corination, when the bullets started to fly and the Friday episode was over. I ran to the computer to find out what was going on in the 'early edition'. Thanks for everything. Keep the faith in the show.
Brian

Thanks. I enjoy reading more than watching TV so I have read DOOL for years now and never watch it. Enjoy your extra hours in the day.

What sad news. But thank you for all the summaries. I always got a good chuckle at the little digs in there! Reading your versions were always much better than watching the show! Thanks for all your hard work, you will be missed.....

Thank you so much for all the years you've put into the EE. I first found you when we moved to Singapore and I was loooking for any way to keep up with my soap. You were a life saver for a fan who has been watching on and off since the beginning of Days. Enjoy the well deserved hours of your lives you are reclaiming.

Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication.Because of my work schedule, for almost a year I was only able to watch Days on Soap Net at 7:00pm. That ended when Y&R took over that spot. So I came to rely on your site. You will be greatly missed. Good luck.

I, like many others, will miss you all and your posts. Thank you for all you've provided to the Early Edition Days of Our Lives fans throughout the years. Know you have touched many people and will be missed. Best of luck to all of you.

Well, I'm sorry to see you guys gone. I think the show has improved tremendously since last year at this time so ti's a shame I won't get to read your recaps for the next day.

I have been relying on you guys for months now, I check every day possible. I understand that Life has to take over sometimes. Thank you all for your dedication to providing this for us. Good Luck in all you do!

Thank you so much for all your devotion. Although I will miss this blog, I do understand you for wanting to stop. This did take a lot of time from your life!!!!I'm just amazed at how long you kept this going! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I am very sorry to see you all go, but I understand completely...Much luck.....Thank you......

I am so sad that this is your last post. As a loyal reader and viewer from Sydney Australia you have made my DOOLS experience fantastic and so up to date - we are behind here in Oz!Thank you for all your hard work.

Thanks so much for all of your hard work! I am very sad to hear this news! Each day I look forward to reading what you have posted, you guys are so accurate its just like watching Days without the advertisements! No Tivo or DVR can replace you so don't even think that!! You have shown such dedication throughout the years, I wish you could change your minds but understand the hard work it involved, I often wondered how you did it! THANKS SO MUCH and we will MISS YOU!!!!!!!!

What a shocker! I hate to see you leave. Since I work during the day, I have gotten to where I enjoy readings your reviews since it is difficult to tape and find the time to watch it.

Best of luck and I sure will miss your reviews.

WOW....Always enjoy coming here getting the latest facts from everyone...so sorry you are leaving us this way..especially on short notice! I wish you all the best of sucess in the future, and THANX for posting another good site for all to go to!!! APLAUSE! APLAUSE!

Thank you with appreciation. I have always looked forward to "catching up" in your preview summary of Early Edition. I also have always thought your team dedicated, for the the daily effort and time that put into your site.... thanks again.

Good luck and best wishes to all....for the best DAYS OF YOUR LIVES

I am so sad! Although I have never emailed or commented before, I have been reading your summary for years, even through all the horrible writing! Your committment through the years is admirable and very much appreciated.

I will check out the other sites you recommend, but doubt it will be even close to the quality and details we have enjoyed here on The Early Edition. I don't get to watch it much anymore and have kept up with my favorite (and not so favorite) charachters here every day! You all will be missed, but completely understand when it is time to say enough. Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives :-)

Thanks. It's just that simple. Thanks.

Many times I remained a DAYS fan only because your summaries kept me informed of the characters I cared about and not the ridiculous storylines we get force-fed. May you someday know how many lives you each touched in a positive way. Thanks for everything!

I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work over the past 10 years. I have used this site to stay connected to DAYS during my hetic life!! What a refreshing time it has been to take just a few minutes and read your insight to DAYS!! You will truly be missed. May God Bless you in all that you do!! Thanks again for all of your time!

Oh no.. this is my daily routine, to come in and see if days will be good the next day. I've been reading your summaries for 6 or 7 years now. I will miss your humour very much :( It was nice getting to know your through your days summaries.

Oh I am so sad! The Early Edition was THE BEST recap site. I never had to worry about missing a show because I knew you would have an almost word-for-word recap of it. I also enjoyed the hilarious comments you sometimes included of your opinions of the storylines.

I am sure it was a real pain to do such a thorough recap day after day and I know all your regular readers appreciate the effort.

Thanks again for such a great site and best of luck to all of you!

I can't believe it! I don't even watch the show anymore, I just read your spoiler...now I may have to resort to actually recording it and that really sucks :-(

You will be missed

Lynne

Thank you all so much for all the hard work. I'm not always near a vcr or dvr these days and will miss your wonderful comments between all the storylines.
Best to all of you. : )

I hate the thought of EE not bein' here anymore - I looked forward to reading it each day and when missing a show - it helped me to catch up and not feel like I missed anything.
Honestly, I hope this is an "April Fools" joke but if not, I wanna say thanx for everything.
Peace

I totally understand the need to stop doing this as it's a huge time commitment.

Thank you so much for your years of wonderful previews. EE was one of the first things I found for Days on the net back in 1998 and I still find your archives to be an incredible source of information.

You will be missed.

THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Good Luck to you all in your future journey.

I will miss your site. I have been reading it for about 6 years now.

A Faithful Follower,
Sue

I'm so sorry to hear this. I've never posted, but always check daily. It made keeping up with the show easier. This is the only site that's been accurate and just like watching the show. Best wishes to you all. You're truly going to be missed.

I MISS YOU ALREADY!!!
