Summary:Sami and Kate go another round...Mimi and Shawn finally agree to be Claire's Godparents... Billie catches Chelsea in a lie... Hope is concerned how Bo handled Chelsea.
At the Hospital... Shawn and Mimi are a bit shocked that Belle and Philip asked them to be Godparents as Mimi flees the room. Shawn explains that she has had a rough time lately. Philip goes to talk to her and apologize, leaving Shawn and Belle alone. Shawn tells her how beautiful Claire is. Philip catches up with Mimi in the lobby and tells her that he's sorry, but Mimi thinks they were being insensitive. He keeps trying to apologize but she says she can't forgive Belle that easily. He points out what good friends they have always been and asks her to give Belle a break. In the room, Shawn is daydreaming that it is he and Belle as the parents. Philip asks Mimi how things are between her and Shawn and she says they are just good friends. He asks her again to please be Claire's Godmother for his sake and she finally agrees. Belle asks Shawn if he would like to hold the baby and he does. She asks him if he is okay they asked him to be the Godfather and he says sure, as long as it's okay with Philip and she says they both want it. He says he will...for her and Claire. Philip and Mimi return and tell them that Mimi agreed as well. Philip and Belle thank both of them and suggest that Mimi hold the baby. She is reluctant at first but does, saying that she is beautiful. Shawn and Mimi take the baby back to the nursery. In the lobby, Mimi starts crying as she holds the baby.
On the Boat...Billie and Hope tell Bo that Chelsea hates both of them and are glad that Bo was able to get through to her. Bo says it isn't that unusual, being that Shawn always opened up more to Hope. He tells Billie not to worry. Billie apologizes for interrupting their evening but Hope says it's okay. Billie thanks them both and leaves. She is going to meet Patrick at a club, which Bo isn't so thrilled to hear. After she is gone, Bo says he wishes she would leave Lockhart alone, he doesn't trust him...but Hope takes up for him. She suggests they drop it and shows him the desert she bought, his favorite...apple pie. She says they can work off the extra calories later. ;-) He suggests they have dessert first. As she gets it out, she tells him that she went to pay and didn't have any cash and had to charge it and she will needs some money since he went to the bank that morning. He explains he doesn't have any either...he gave Chelsea some money. Hope isn't too thrilled to learn that he gave her $250. She thinks he did it out of guilt, but he feels justified in doing it...she needed some help. She reminds him how he lectured her for giving Shawn money before. She explains the she and Billie think that Chelsea needs boundaries and to learn responsibility and this isn't the way to do that. But Bo says she was in need and he was just glad he could be there for her. But Hope says handing over cash won't teach her anything. Bo continues to defend himself, but she worries about his and Chelsea's relationship and warns him not to let her take advantage of him. After they finish their desert, they kiss and he carries her off to the bedroom (as she calls him "such a caveman", lol).At the club...Chelsea meets Max at "The Craze" and they are dancing as she kisses him. They sit and talk as she tells him about her new found wealth. She rags on Billie as Max tells her that at least she is trying. She tells him what she learned about Billie and Kate (being ex-hookers). Patrick is outside the club when Billie shows up. She tells him about the fight with Chelsea and how Bo and Hope took her side. She tells him that Chelsea is (supposedly) at Abby's and they decide to go in and have some fun. Billie and Patrick see Chelsea and Max and Billie is furious that she lied to her. She heads over that way but Patrick stops her and tries to calm her down, reminding her that Chelsea IS an adult. Billie tells him that Hope suggested she keep an eye on her and on a short leash. Chelsea sees them dancing and Max tells her that if she takes off after Patrick, he is out of there. But Chelsea says no, she wants to be with Max. They dance over that way and Chelsea asks Billie if she is checking up on her. Billie tells her no, and Chelsea smugly tells them to have a good night and move on. Max asks Chelsea why she was being almost nice to Billie and she says she is going to try and get along with her. Billie is encouraged that Chelsea was nice to her and thinks that maybe Bo did get through to her as they watch Chelsea and Max dance.
At the Chez Rouge... Kate is shocked that Austin is there with Sami as Sami says he is being a good friend to her. Kate says she is just poisoning another of her sons. Sami goes off on how she hates Kate for ruining her life but Kate says it is all her own fault. Austin is forced to play referee as they get into it again and tells Kate to cut Sami some slack. But Kate keeps on, saying that Sami deserves all she gets and says that she is just playing him. Kate is sure that Sami will have him in her bed next. Austin does NOT want to be in the middle of all this and explains that when he got to the church, he found Sami crying and he is just trying to help her as a friend. (I guess Kate doesn't understand the concept of "friend", since she has none herself.) Austin points out that they are BOTH at fault and that Kate should have just stayed out of it...she has done enough already. But Kate tries to justify her actions and reminds Austin how much Sami hurt him before and begs him to leave with her. He refuses to leave and says he is going to be there for Sami. He talks about talking to Lucas before the wedding and how happy Lucas was and sure that Sami had changed. Sami says she did change and was doing well, until Kate interfered and set her up. Kate runs through Sami's list of wrong-doings as Sami points out that Kate has a list herself...and especially hurt her children and Austin has to break them up again. Kate again tries to get Austin to leave with her, but he refuses. Sami wants to go home so Austin offers to take her. He tells Kate it was good to see her and he will call her tomorrow as they leave. After they leave, Kate says Sami may think she has won but she will do ANYTHING to protect her sons...she will NOT let her get her hooks into Austin or Lucas again...as the previews show...Marlena (holding Claire): Oh Isabella...you are perfect in every way (as Belle looks at her strangely)...
Jack (to Frankie): You are just waiting for me to kick off so you can come in and take your place with her. You fell in love with her, you son of a bitch (as he punches Frankie)...
Shawn (to Mimi): You are incredibly worthy of love. (Mimi): Do you really mean that?...as they kiss...
Lexie (on the phone): I need info on all the cases Alex North has consulted on...as Alex hangs up the phone and says: I wouldn’t do that if I were you...
And the credits roll...

Summary: Great scenes between Sami and Kate, Billie asks Hope for advice (it is so nice to see these two getting along!), Bo and Chelsea have a father-daughter chat, Shawn and Mimi continue their “date”, Nicole sets her sights back on Austin, Belle and Phillips daughter has a name….On the Fancy Face, Chelsea is still accusing Bo of taking Billie’s side. He explains that they are just worried about her safety. Hope steps in and asks Chelsea what is really bothering her, as there has to be something else. Chelsea points to Billie and says she is ruining her life. Hope asks if she isn’t being a little harsh – her mother is just concerned about her. Chelsea is upset that Hope can’t stand Billie, but she is still taking her side. Hope tells her that they are worried about her driving so recklessly, especially given what happened to her parents – to which Chelsea replies there is no comparison, as they weren’t speeding, they were hit by a drunk driver. She claims that Hope doesn’t like her because her husband had a child with another woman. Why are they ganging up on her? She runs out and when Billie goes to go after her, Bo asks her to let him go – maybe she won’t be so defensive if she doesn’t feel ganged up on. Up on the deck, Bo promises not to lecture her anymore if she will talk to him about what is bothering her. She tells him that she feels constantly criticized – about her clothes, her dates, her driving. She only just found out about her birth parents, they have no history, and them suddenly being in her face is just too much. Bo counsels her that just because she is grown up and 18 doesn’t mean she couldn’t use some guidance. She ends up telling him about what Sami said and how Billie confirmed it. Bo tells her that Sami is not in any position to judge anyone, though Chelsea accepts she was right. She is thinking it may truly run in the family. Bo assures her that she will make her own mistakes. He thinks it is good that Billie told her. He is sure that it wouldn’t have been kept from her, but Chelsea doesn’t agree. He tells her that Billie just doesn’t want Chelsea to make the same mistakes she made. Chelsea says that she needs Billie to stop butting into her life. She goes on about the women not liking her, but she is not about to change to make them happy. She goes on about winning her car made her happy and gave her freedom, but now she pays so much for insurance, she can’t afford gas. Now she feels trapped. She is not about to ask for money from Billie, who would never let her forget it. She goes on about needing money for work clothes, so Bo gives her some, telling her to buy the clothes and gas and have fun with whatever is left over. He just has one condition – she has to try to get along with her mom a little better as this is all new to her, too. She tells him, “Thanks Dad,” and kisses him on the cheek.
She goes to a payphone and calls Max, telling him she has loads of money and is ready to party.
Hope apologizes if she’s made things worse. Billie thanks her for backing her up. Hope claims she only did it because Billie was right. They end up discussing life with a teenager – one who is fine one minute, angry the next. She asks Hope for advice. Hope reminds her that though it must be tough being a single mom, Bo is going to be involved. It is hard enough raising a teen from birth without adding in Chelsea’s problems. They will help. They discuss needing to find a balance and teaching responsibility. Hope also tells Billie to stop her mother from spoiling her. Billie has talked to her, but look what good it did, although they would have killed for a dress like that at 18 – okay maybe just her (lol at Hope’s look). Billie is not going to give up. That will make all the difference. Bo comes back down and tells the ladies they had a good talk. Both are upset that she talked to him and not to either of them. He tells them that she has a hard time relating to them. They give each other these looks…
At the hospital, Phillip and Belle are discussing how quiet and good the baby is. She even fell asleep nursing (ah…those were the days). She goes on to complain that they have no crib, no diapers, no supplies. Phillip reminds her that her shower wasn’t supposed to be till next month; however, he is sure that everything will be taken care of by time she goes home. They then discuss how they haven’t chosen a name yet. Phillip suggests giving her two middle names and using eeny-meenie-miney-mo. Each has a favourite name, so they decide to each write their choice down so as not to influence each other. It figures that they picked the same name: Claire Kiriakis. Belle tells him that is one thing off her list of things to do (which is at least two pages long!) Next up is the choice of godparents. They bat around names like Brady, (on his honeymoon), Lucas (a good dad, but his problems with Sami are an issue), Sami (a good mom, but not a good role model). Belle gets hungry and wants trail mix for dinner, but he says no. He will find her something.
Meanwhile, at Chez Rouge, Shawn and Mimi are dancing and laughing at Chez Rouge. They comment on the good food, good music, and good company – a lot of fun for a cancelled reception. They have a whole conversation about dating vs friendship. They decide that they are more comfortable and relaxed as friends. A waiter interrupts with champagne from Mr. Horton, on the house. They toast to themselves – “Friends forever.” After discussing Sami’s trouble and how she needs to change drastically, they make another toast: may they find and keep true love. Shawn asks her to dance again, but his phone rings. Phillip wants them to go to the hospital right away, but didn’t tell them why. It sounded important. When they rush into the hospital room, Phillip is sorry he worried them, but they have something important to ask them. A smiling Belle asks if they will do them the honour of being their daughter’s godparents. Both look at each other, surprised.
Nicole is sitting with Austin and orders another martini. He wasn’t going to say anything about her drinking until she brings it up. He doesn’t think she needs another, but she does. He is interested in listening to her story, but the abridged version. She asks if he still has feelings for her…Of course, but he also has feelings for Sami. He goes on to tell her that he thought about calling her – but she married Victor. He did call once when Victor died, but didn’t leave a message. It didn’t feel right to leave one instead of talking directly to her. He asks again for her to tell him about what her life has been like. She gives him the very short version. She tells him the glass is her only friend – but he claims he is a better one, and asks her to dance. He is glad he could cheer her up, but maybe he needed cheering too. Apparently his social life has been very quiet – he has become a workaholic. He has gone out, but there is no one special. He left his heart in Salem. Phillip arrives and sees Austin dancing with Nicole and shakes his head. He interrupts to talk to Austin, sending Nicole for another drink. Austin steers the conversation around to Phillip’s life. No, he doesn’t know how long he will be in town. Phillip warns him off Nicole, and asks what he meant about leaving his heart in Salem. Who did he mean? Austin reacts to being put on the spot by refusing to answer. He promises to come meet the baby. Phillip goes to get food for Belle, Austin returns to his table and Nicole comes out from behind the fireplace wanting to know, too. She also wonders where Sami and Kate are –with her luck, they probably killed each other and she missed it. She goes back to Austin and they discuss how much has happened and how things are always happening in Salem.
Still in the ladies' room, Sami goes to attack Kate with the candlestick. Kate warns her that she shouldn’t do that unless she wants to spend her wedding night in jail (and she isn’t already because….?). Sami thinks it would be worth it, but she is not going to kill Kate – because she would have to touch her, and that idea makes her skin crawl. Kate gloats that she has beaten Sami – she wins. Sami cries that this is not some kind of game – Kate has lost Lucas, too, and he will keep Will away from her. She has also lost Roman and John only wants Marlena. She calls Kate a bitter, miserable, lonely woman. Kate admits she paid a high price to keep Sami out of her family, but she would be willing to do it again. She claims that she did it for them, not herself. True love requires sacrifice, which Sami knows nothing about. They are hurt now, but they will see that she did the right thing. Sami contradicts her, in that Kate didn’t care how Lucas felt, she was thrilled to beat Sami. She tells Kate that Stan happened because of Kate’s game – it is all on her head, and everyone knows it. Sami wouldn’t call that victory. Kate whirls Sami around to the mirror and tells her to look at how mean and vindictive she is. She throws up what Sami said to Chelsea and how she hurt a girl she didn’t even know. Sami says her Brady blood gave her a chance, but she is after all, related to Kate. Then she asks about Lucas and his happiness that Mom supposedly wants for him. What is gonna do, buy him another $5 million bride? All she ends up doing is hurting him. Sami is adamant that she and Lucas were good for each other – that what they had was true love. That angers Kate even more. She is sure that Nicole and Sami are the worst things for Lucas and Austin. Neither of her sons will ever have anything to do with Sami or Nicole. Kate needles Sami about forgetting the reception was cancelled, but says it doesn’t matter since she is dining alone. Sami wants to know why she would think that, and Kate is sure that there is no way she could have scrounged up a dinner date after what happened. If she is not alone, then he must be some kind of desperate low life. After Kate leaves, Sami tells her she is in for quite a shock. Kate sees Austin and happily hugs him when he runs to her, before noticing Nicole is at the table he came from. She wants to know why he was there with her, but Nicole says she just stopped in to say hi. Kate tells her that now that she is there, Nicole can just say good-bye. Austin tells her there is no need to be rude, though Nicole leaves anyway. She starts on Austin about getting caught up. They can have dinner and talk and relax. He tells her not tonight, he is there with someone already. She says that if he brought someone from New York, he should have told her about it. She asks him who it is, but the answer comes from behind her…Sami says, “It’s me.” As Kate turns around, almost in tears, lightning strikes beside her, and the previews roll:Kate: “I am begging you – leave her here and come home with me. You know it’s the right thing to do.”
Belle: “You know, you have the exact same expression on your face that Phillip had on his when I suggested it to him.” Cut to Shawn.
Bo: “I gave Chelsea some money.”
Hope: “How much?”
Bo: “$250”
At a dance club, Billie sees Chelsea on the dance floor, “Chelsea? Oh, my God, she lied to me!”

Episode # 10155; Tape Date: 8/29/05; Air Date: 9/29/05; Director: Albert Alarr
Summary: Ho-hum…quite a boring show. Billie and Chelsea have a rough time getting along…Mimi and Shawn enjoy an evening out…Austin convinces Sami to go out with him…as Nicole convinces Kate as well.
Bo and Hope are on the Fancy Face 3 having some alone time. (They explain that Zack begged to stay the night with Doug and Julie). They talk about Sami’s wedding imploding and about her being involved with Tony. Later, they have made love and are lying in bed as Bo is still upset over what Sami did and how Shawn could have been killed. They talk about how dumb she was to fall into Tony’s web. He doesn’t think anyone will ever forgive her or trust her again. They fell especially bad for Roman, Lucas and Will. They also talk about how Shawn is dealing with the Belle situation. Hope still thinks that he and Belle belong together, but says the more she sees Belle and Philip together, the more she thinks they are in love. Maybe this is the way it should be. Later they are fixing dinner and she tells Bo to keep an eye on things, she is going to run to the bakery to pick up desert. He is thinking about giving Chelsea a call, remembering how upset she was at the church, thanks to Sami. Hope thinks that maybe he can reach out to her better than Billie can…she says Chelsea and Billie are too much alike. He agrees, but thinks they should be able to find common ground. She warns him though, to think of Chelsea and not come across as siding with Billie against her…he could lose her if he does.
Meanwhile, Billie tries to fix dinner for Chelsea (looks like frozen dinners). Chelsea is NOT impressed and tells her to stop trying to be her mother, saying she, Billie and Bo will never be a family. Billie tells her the love her and she is trying. Chelsea says that Billie just tries too hard and she doesn’t want new parents and cries about losing her mom and dad. Billie asks if they can at least be friends as Chelsea says no and walks away. Later, Billie can’t stomach the food herself as Chelsea walks in dressed in a black slinky dress (another of Grandma Kate’s gifts). Billie isn’t too thrilled with it, saying it is too ‘Sex and the City’. Chelsea says why don’t she just call her a whore like Sami did. Billie tells her to ignore Sami’s comments. She tells her that Sami also said she was just following in the family tradition…both Billie and Kate were whores too. Chelsea can see by the look on Billie’s face that she hit a nerve. Billie answers that when she was younger, she was wild and she understands what a young lonely girl can go through. She goes on to tell her about when she was younger and how Bo turned her life around. She also explains that Kate did things to survive. Chelsea says that Sami was right…it could be genetic, she must be cursed and runs off. Outside, she gets a call from Bo and says ‘I need you daddy’. Bo must have told her to come on over, because the next scene, she rushes onto the boat, hugging him and crying…with Billie hot on her trail. Billie starts scolding her about her wild drive over there and Bo jumps in, siding with Billie…just as Hope walks in.Kate is at her place trying to reach Austin on the phone when Nicole shows up, telling her to get dressed, they are going out. Kate refuses and tells her to leave. But Nicole tells her she needs to show her something. Kate is quite rude to her, telling her she is more interested in talking to Austin. Nicole promises her she won’t miss him. Kate asks her if she wants money, but Nicole tells her that this is about Sami and she MUST see for herself. Kate finally gives in and goes to change as Nicole has a celebratory drink.
At the Chez Rouge…Mickey and Maggie are talking about Sami’s wedding disaster as Shawn and Mimi show up. Mimi apologizes for her mom’s behavior earlier and they give Mickey & Maggie an update on Belle and the baby. Meanwhile, Austin and Sami have arrived outside and the valet starts mouthing off to Sami about the reception that had been called off, upsetting her. She cries to Austin about how people are talking about her but he calms her down, telling her to stop being her worst enemy. Maggie points out to Mickey that love may be in the air for Shawn and Mimi as they are enjoying their dinner. Mimi is talking but Shawn is a million miles away, thinking of Belle. He tells her that seeing Belle with her baby made it all real to him. Sami comes in as Maggie asks how she is and asks if she will be dining alone. Austin walks up and says no, she is with me. Maggie seats them at a quiet table as Mickey takes desert to Shawn and Mimi. He tells them that he and Maggie think they look great together. Sami finds something on the table (either a gift or a decoration) that says ‘Sami & Lucas’ and tosses it aside and starts again about how things turned out and how everyone hates her now. She says if she died right now on the spot, no one would even care. Of course Austin says he would. Shawn and Mimi explain to Mickey they are just friends as Maggie walks up, making up a story about how upset the dj is that no one is dancing and asks them to dance. While they are dancing, Mickey tells her that they are not dating and Maggie says not YET and smiles to herself. Austin is still consoling Sami and tells her that he isn’t going to let her go through this alone. She goes to the ladies room…just as Kate and Nicole arrive. Nicole orders a drink as Kate heads to the ladies room as well. Nicole spots Austin and makes a bee-line to his table. He informs her that Sami is there as well and he is trying to help her through this. Nicole admires his chivalry and he says he does still have feelings for Sami. She asks if he has some feelings for her as well. In the bathroom, Sami is crying again when Kate comes in and they glare at each other. Kate starts gloating, rubbing Sami’s nose in everything, saying she finally won. Kate asks her if she is going to congratulate her. Well, Sami has had enough and says “congratulate you…I am going to KILL you” as she picks up something (looks like a candlestick) and lunges at Kate…as the previews show…Belle (to Shawn and Mimi): It would mean a lot to both Philip and me if you would do the honor of being out daughter’s Godparents…
Bo (to Billie and Hope): She said she had a hard time relating to both of you…
Nicole (to Austin): You must have a bunch of women waiting for you in New York. (Austin): The truth is I left my heart here in Salem (as Nicole smiles)…
And the credits roll…

Episode#10,154Tape date –8/29
Director – Albert Alarr
A few lighthearted moments in the aftermath of the wedding disaster, as Baby K has visitors in the hospital, Austin takes Sami home, & Nicole manages to flit all over town.
AT THE HOSPITAL, Philip & Belle are cooing over their new baby girl, while an admiring grandfather Victor & Lucas look on. Lucas has had an amazing transformation, having changed his clothes, gotten a short haircut, and grown a mustache & slight goatee, all in a matter of an hour or two. LOLOL. There is a short bit of conversation about Sami & the wedding, but Lucas discourages it. He knows his mom wanted to wreak revenge on Sami, to publicly humiliate her, just as Sami outed Kate at his birthday party, tit for tat, & he will never forgive Kate for what she did and the way she did it. They chatter and tease about naming the baby, saying that if a boy, they wanted Luke for the name. Lucas is flattered, but says not to name the baby after him, and talks of maybe Lucille. Belle says she likes Lucy, then mention not wanting trendy names, like Madison. Belle mentions all the “family” names that are a tradition in hers, Lucas says he has the perfect name. Kiki. Everyone laughs, as he explains how Kiki Kiriakis just rolls off the tongue. Belle knows how kids are, and would be calling her Geeky Kiki. LOL. She asks what the name would be from, Lucas says Katherine, then Philip says no, not wanting to have Kate think the baby was named after her. Meanwhile Mimi & Shawn have arrived at the hospital, with Mimi trying to talk Shawn out of checking on Belle, as all was well at the church. He insists, and they pop in for a short visit, congratulating the new mommy & daddy, and then leave.
Out in the hall, Nicole runs into a gift laden Kate (wonder where she managed to find a store open on such short notice……oh, yeah, probably the hospital gift shop – but what is Nicole doing there. Last we saw, she was drowning her sorrows at Chez Rouge.) Nicole congratulates Kate on a job well done, and tells her that what she has done is going to come back and bite her in the butt. Kate calmly tells Nicole that with Sami gone, there is no reason for her to have anything to do with Nicole and to get lost. Nicole is furious, but Kate tells her that she already gave her money, it was enough, it is all over now. Nicole leaves. Victor spots Kate through the window, and excuses himself to go stop her. He tries to talk sense to her, but she is all excited about the new grandchild. He tries to make her realize that the way she got her revenge on Sami has ruined her in Lucas’s eyes. Philip comes out, telling Kate that Belle is getting ready to nurse the baby (wow, already??) so would not be a good time for her. Lucas comes out, tells Kate that in his eyes, she is far worse than Sami could ever be & tells her off, saying finally he will never speak to her again. He leaves.Victor asks Kate if her revenge on Sami was worth losing the son she loves so much. She says yes, it was, and thinks Lucas will eventually forgive her. We see Lucas on the phone to Will, trying to console him, promising him that he would still be seeing his mom. Lucas does warn Will, that his mother may go to jail, but that no, Gramma Kate would not. He tells Will that he is going to take him out to dinner, just the two of them.
AT THE LOFT, Mimi & Shawn arrive home, talk a bit about their respective failed love lives. Shawn thinks that Rex will eventually realize how much he misses Mimi and will return. Perfect cue for a knock at the door, and a messenger with a package for Mimi. She opens it, to find all the things she ever gave Rex, all the pictures of them - mementos and souvenirs from their dating days. Pictures, movie tickets, match books, restaurant receipts, etc. Mimi realizes Rex is making sure she understands it is over, he is not ever returning to Salem or her. They both moan and groan a bit, then decide to go out to dinner.
Austin & Sami arrive in the hall, and run into an elderly, rather gregarious neighbor with a rather foggy memory, who mentions not having seen Austin in a month of Sundays. Now follows a humorous conversation, (Sami is in her wedding dress) wherein she first thinks Pammi finally married Austin, & they are going on honeymoon. When they assure her that is not the case, she remembers it was supposed to be Lucas across the hall, & then proceeds to mention all the men Sami was supposed to marry…Lucas, Franco, Brandon. Sami is furious, Austin restrains her, they argue big time. (the neighbor is really funny, & gives some sharp digs to our girl) Austin shags Sami inside the apt., tells her that it was all her fault, not the neighbor’s, calms her down, and tells her she needs to get out of that dress. She asks him to get a storage bag from the closet. He goes into the closet, and shocked, as he brings out 3 storage bags covering wedding dresses. One is dress from when they married in Paris, one that Sami had made identical to Carrie’s when they were to get married, & Carrie & Lucas stopped it. (That was Will’s paternity reveal). The 3rd is the one she wore for their aborted Vegas wedding. Sami is crying as she then goes to the closet to pull out 3 more…….(egads!) the one from when she was to marry Franco, the one from when she was to marry Brandon, and the one she was to wear to her lst wedding to Lucas. He tells her she still needs to get out of that dress. She asks him where he was planning on staying, and he says at Lucas’s apt. while they were gone on their honeymoon. Uh, oh. He wants to clean up, she tells him to feel free to use the shower. (Let us all remember here that so far, have not seen a single bit of luggage for Austin. LOL). He goes off to shower, and a frustrated Sami angrily tosses the wedding dresses around. Knock, Knock. It is the resident lush, Nicole, who first asks if she has any vodka, then gleefully tells Sami off about another failed wedding, saying she deserved it for not helping her get Brady away from Chloe. Sami tells Nik to get out, opens the door, turns, realizing it was Nicole who told Kate about her being Stan. Nicole asks her just WHERE would she have gotten that disguise, that Sami was positive it was destroyed. She tells Sami to face it, Tony gave the disguise to Kate……..and out of bathroom comes a towel clad Austin, startling Nicole. Sami is angry, and wants Austin to get rid of Nicole. He tells her once more to get out of that dress, and she goes into the bedroom, yelling that Nik had better be gone when she comes out. Nicole asks Austin for a hug, he complies, commenting that she has been drinking. She admits it. Sami is yelling from behind closed doors to get her out of there. She wants to see him later that evening, but he says he is going to keep Sami company tonight. They agree to meet tomorrow. He asks where she is living, and she just smiles, saying she will call him. He gives her his cell phone #, and they talk of having lunch at Chez Rouge, where, as Nicole claims, they make the best Bloody Marys in town. He thinks that for Nicole, all the restaurants in town make the best Bloody Marys. She comments about “Boston Austin” (his name during prize fighting days) making snide remarks, and leaves, Sami comes out. Austin insists they not stay home, he is taking her out to dinner at Chez Rouge. Sami says no, that is where her reception was supposed to be. Austin tells her she cannot hide, she has to face people sometime, and why not tonite. She says the place will be closed. He fells they would definitely have room for them. Sami finally agrees. (Jeez, the entire town is going for dinner there tonight……and the place was “closed for a private party”. Amazing, huh?, especially since Bonnie took all that food. Ha.) Outside in the hall, Nicole has been eavesdropping (a favorite Salem pastime) at the door, and smiling like the proverbially Cheshire Cat, she says, Chez Rouge, huh? AND THE PREVIEWS SHOW……
Chelsea to Billie: Why would she make it sound like you guys were a couple of prostitutes – don’t tell me Sami was telling the truth.
Hope to Brady: If you put yourself in the middle and Chelsea thinks you are siding with Billie, you could lose your daughter forever. Is that a chance you are willing to take?
Nicole to Austin: What about me, Austin? Do you still have feelings for me, too?
Kate: Aren’t you going to congratulate me? Sami: I think I’m gonna kill you…….as she launches herself at Kate. And the credits roll.

Summary: As Belle has her baby at the church (yes, today’s delivery day!); it appears that Alex is the original Roman trying to get Marlena back; while Bonnie is back to taking advantage of the reception that didn’t happen at Chez Rouge (thought it was suppose to be at her place?)
Chez Rouge
Bonnie (wearing her red low cut gown and black shawl) walks in and finds Mickey sitting at a table, sipping some red wine. She joins him at the table and he does us proud as he doesn’t get caught in her web. She mentions there won’t be a wedding reception there after all and Sami Brady is still, well, Sami Brady. Being the wonderful food won’t be eaten and the restaurant is closed, she asks if she can have it for a “good cause”. Mickey states it’s Maggie’s restaurant and her decision, so Bonnie go to leave. Maggie asks what the home wrecker wanted.
Bonnie finds Nicole drinking a Martini at the bar, saying she was crashing Sami’s wedding reception to see Austin. Bonnie explains that Sami’s probably crying on Austin’s shoulder as they speak, saying the wedding didn’t happen and knows there’s a voodoo doll out there of Sami and some black magic woman is poking pins into it. She tells Nicole about Kate dressing in Stan’s costume and stopping the wedding as Nicole practically gags while laughing. Later they’re toasting to Kate’s success with Martini’s (wait til you get the bill for those Nicole being there’s no reception). Bonnie watches Mickey talking to Maggie as Nicole rants about all the good ones getting away and agrees. Bonnie remembered seeing Austin in the boxing ring years ago as Nicole talks about him. Mimi joins them and says she sounds just like Kate Roberts, which Bonnie is flattered by, especially if she had her money. She tells Mimi that Mickey told her she could have all the food she wanted as Maggie (in her pink gown and shawl) overhears saying over her dead body. When Bonnie sounds obliging, Maggie asks (with hands on hips) if she wants a piece of her and Bonnie jumps at her, saying bring it on red as they fall to the fall brawling. Nicole watches oohing and awing, jabbing her toothpick in the air as though giving directions. Later Mickey breaks them up. Bonnie claims most of the food was going to the battered women’s shelter and Maggie picks up on MOST OF, claiming the rest would go into Bonnie’s horrible chili that even her dog wouldn’t eat. Bonnie goes after Maggie again and Mickey stops her. Maggie tells her to take the food and GET THE HELL OUT. Mimi tries to pull her mom to do just that. Bonnie mumbles about getting Mimi paired up with Shawn and that Horton money as she trips on a table. Maggie yells for her to watch that first step, it’s a bitch and hums to herself, LOL.
Later Mickey apologizes for all he put her and Bonnie through. Maggie is grateful to be the one and only Mrs. Horton and they kiss.
Nicole finishes her martini, moaning about being alone in a bar in the middle of the day and will wind up a Bonnie Lockhart one day. She wishes she had Austin in her life.
Bonnie calls the shelter and learns the walk in freezer is on the fritz, so offers to bring down enough for them to have a square meal tonight and will take the rest to the school down the street for their bake sale (as she holds the phone away saying … NOT)…ka-ching ka-ching. (Gee, their refrigerator probably works still Bonnie!) She finds Nicole writing Austin’s name over and over on a cocktail napkin, knowing she was right about her.
AT OR AROUND THE CHURCH….We find Sami crying in the courtyard as Austin asks her to tell him what happened. He finds it hard to believe she went to work for Tony and was disguised as a man, but says she now might lose her son and Lucas. Austin calmly lectures that she brought it on herself and doesn’t learn from her mistakes, but builds on them…like what happened in Las Vegas. He reminds her that it’s a miracle that he’s standing there talking to her right now and another that Lucas was at the altar waiting to make her his bride. She has a way of making people paranoid. He thought she had changed by the
way Lucas had talked to him on the phone, but listening to her now, realizes she hasn’t. Sami tells him about how Kate had gotten her and Brandon drugged and in bed together the night before their wedding so Lucas would find them together. Kate even admitted it. She explains how she thought most of her family was dead and was already low at that point. That’s when Tony got her, when she was the most vulnerable. She didn’t know it was Tony though, just an anonymous make-up artist showed up at her apartment and made her up as Stan. She tells him how Lucas, Shawn and Rex went to find Philip and “Tony” threatened she’d never see her parents again unless she also went overseas. Austin finds all this hard to believe and knows she’ll never top this. He tells her she only has herself to blame and needs to turn her life around if she wants to be happy. He offers to always be there for her and she thanks him for being nice to her and for forgiving her. She rushes into his arms and so thankful he’s back.Lexie demands Alex tell her the truth. He threatens to expose her “therapy” used with Dr. Cramer and will see to it that she loses her son if she tells John what “therapy” he’s using on Marlena. John comes to get Lexie for Belle and tells Alex that this might trigger Marlena’s memory. To himself, Alex agrees. Lexie walks in and hears Belle’s water has broken and goes into action.
Shawn lights a candle and crosses himself as he prays for Belle and her baby to be safe and happy. Mimi joins him, asking if he’s asking for Belle and her family’s health or for a miracle for himself. He only wants Belle’s happiness and whatever she decides. He doesn’t want to see a family torn apart and situations like Will’s or his with new stepsister Chelsea. He sees what it’s doing to his mom. Later Mimi tells Shawn there’s an emergency at Chez Rouge and she needs to join her mom there. Lexie rushes out to get more medical supplies from her car and tells Shawn that Belle’s in the last stages of labor. Lexie tells him not to go in as her husband is with her. He starts to go anyway when Alex stops him. He offers Shawn some advice and Shawn asks why he should listen to him. Alex calmly says because he knows what he’s going through as he also lost the woman he loved. We see flashbacks of him as the original Roman as Marlena holds baby Belle in her arms crying when she left him to be with John as he tells Shawn about the woman he loved and lost (ironic that it’s Belle’s true love he’s telling it too). We see more flashbacks of him hugging Marlena as she cries over the situation. Shawn thanks him for the advice. Alex says he knows how it can make you do things you wouldn’t normally do. Alex knows Shawn will never give up on Belle just like HE will never give up on Marlena.
As Belle screams in pain, John insists that Marlena not give up on getting her memory back. They hear Belle scream and Philip pulls them in, telling Marlena she’s a doctor and to help her daughter who’s in labor. Marlena asks Belle where she feels the most pressure and worried the baby is breech. (they walk from the hospital to the church all the time…why can’t they rush her there, so stupid!!) John realizes that Marlena is getting her memory back and urges her to do her doctorly thing (where’s Lexie? It’s not that big a parking lot!) John suggests they call an ambulance (should have done that a long time ago!) and Marlena says it’s too late and apologizes for not having anything for the pain or to calm her uterine muscles. They have to move the baby to another position. Lexie conveniently must have parked across the park/city. Lexie finally returns and puts on gloves (look more like formal white gloves than hospital gloves, LOL. She takes a quick look and congratulates Marlena on turning the baby around, then returns to Belle. Marlena and Philip hold Belle’s shoulders as Lexie delivers their little GIRL. Philip tells Belle they have a little girl as John’s crying in happiness. After the commercial, Belle is holding her daughter (we don’t see her) as she introduces her to her own mom and dad and her Aunt Lexie after Philip tells her who he is. Lexie goes to check on the ambulance (LOL…it’s spitting distance from the hospital..but don’t get me started) as we see Shawn watching from the doorway (unnoticed), smiling as Philip kisses his wife and daughter and leaves quietly (way to go Shawn!! I’m proud of you!) John hugs Marlena and says she remembered her skills as a physician and her memory is coming back. Before she gets any more memories, Alex waves the necklace at her from the door and she goes into a mini trance as we see him hypnotizing her earlier and saying she’d no longer be concerned with her husband or children and her agreeing. He pockets the locket and vows he gave Marlena up once, but not again, as Lexie smirks Marlena might get her memory back. We see John glowing, telling Marlena this is a memorable day as they have OUR first grandchild, but she’s also getting her memory back. Crying, Marlena agrees and wants him to take her home.
Mimi returns to the church and finds Shawn back lurking outside the door, watching Philip and Belle with their daughter. He tells her it’s over and she says endings make way for new beginnings. Belle laughs at how many times Philip has counted their daughter’s fingers and toes as Marlena and John watch happily (where are Kate and Victor during all of this? It’s their grandchild too) Shawn overhears Philip and Belle telling each other they’re a family now and they love each other and will always be together. The show closes with a freeze frame of Shawn sadly realizing he’s lost Belle…as the previews roll…
Sami yells at Nicole…”You told Kate about my disguise? You helped her ruin my life?”
Lucas to Kate: “You destroyed my life. You’re far worse than Sami could ever be”…as we see flashes of Marlena and John on the screen….
Philip to Belle and their baby (now at the hospital with her in a hospital gown and he in his t-shirt)…”I promise both of you right now that I will treasure and protect both of you for the rest of my life”…
Shawn to Mimi: "I just want to make sure they’re alright. "
Mimi: "Why can’t you just leave destiny alone?”
As the credits roll…

Summary: Sami finds herself backed into a corner with Kate gloating...Austin makes his way to the church with the help of an unusual limo driver...and Belle goes into labor.Patrick and Chelsea are at the bowling alley as she flirts with him shamelessly. Mimi and Shawn also show up there, she determined that they are going to have some fun. They are wearing matching bowling shirts that she bought for them and they joke about the rental shoes. They are bowling as they talk about whether it could be true that Sami was Stan. Mimi gets a strike and celebrates. Meanwhile, Patrick makes it clear to Chelsea that he agreed to come with her so she would promise to be nicer to Billie. Patrick sees Mimi and Shawn and goes over to say hi, followed by Chelsea. Shawn asks her what she is doing there with him...he is dangerous. Billie calls Chelsea, but she pretends she can’t hear her and hangs up. Patrick urges her to call her back, but she refuses. Patrick gets them ice cream and she talks about how she should avoid stress and that Billie only causes her more. Patrick suggests she find a guy her own age and she suggests Max, to which Patrick says no way. She says Max is cool but Patrick thinks she can do better. She tells Patrick she is going to save herself for the mean of her dreams.
In St. Luke’s bridal room, Marlena and Lexie are helping Belle, realizing they may not have time to get to the hospital. Marlena begins having flashbacks of giving birth to Belle. Caroline also comes to help as Belle cries out for Shawn. In the hall, Alex fears that Marlena may be having memories, if so, he says he must stop that. Lexie checks on Belle and says Oh my God. She says that Philip should be told he is going to be a father soon. Shawn calls Caroline to check on Belle and she tells him that Belle is in labor. He tells Mimi that they need to go be there. Marlena gets Philip from the sanctuary and in the hallway tells him about Belle and that she is calling for him. Mimi and Shawn arrive just in time to overhear this. Philip goes to Belle and comforts her as best as he can, for she fears she is losing the baby. Shawn, Caroline and Mimi watch from the door. Shawn says something about how the baby deserves to have a family and Caroline hugs him, saying she is so proud of him. Philip wants to get her to the hospital, but when she stands, she doubles over in pain.
Alex catches Marlena in the hallway and she says she thinks she is having memory flashes. So he whips out his necklace and begins to hypnotize her. Later Lexie sees him in the hall and tells him that she is going to tell John what he is up to. Yet again he threatens to expose her. She says she is going to do what is right and leaves. Later, Abe and Lexie go outside and he talks about how sorry he is for pushing her away and wants a second chance...says he can’t live another day without her. She says that is what she wants as well. She tells him she has to check on Belle, but is stopped in the hallway by Alex (who apparently overheard them) who warns her not to talk to John again.
Austin’s plane is nearing Salem as he is wondering if he missed the wedding...if it really happened...or if it ended in disaster, like Sami’s other weddings. Later, he is in the limo, pleading with the driver to hurry and get him to the church. The driver is played by comedienne Kathy Griffin, who in typical fashion of the hotel workers in Salem, is particularly nosey. He tells her about how he
married Sami once, then almost did again. She advises him to just get back on his plane and leave, this Sami sounds like trouble. He tells her that Sami is marrying his brother and she says he needs to stay away from this lunatic bride. Austin tells her the story of him and Sami (mixed with some flashbacks) as they are stuck in traffic. She says his story is hard to believe. She tells him that she is in a 12-step program and it sounds like he needs one too. (LOL) In the sanctuary, Kate tells everyone that the report she has is from the ISA. Roman thinks that Kate is being awfully smug...and everyone knows that she only wants to ruin Sami. John talks to the ISA and says the report is legit. Sami continues to plead with Lucas to believe her, but Kate keeps on. Sami pleads with Roman to stand up for her, but he says it’s true...she was working for Tony. Sami says she loves Lucas but he doesn’t want to hear it, she almost got them all killed. Will says she always ruins everything. Roman turns her around and forces her to look at all the people she has hurt. Philip talks about how SHE did this to him, it was all her fault. Roman tells her for once in her life to tell the truth. She finally breaks down and confesses that she WAS Stan. She apologizes but says it was all Kate’s fault. She says Kate framed her and she thought her mom, dad and grandmother were all dead. She turned to John and Belle but they refused to help her. Kate was driving her crazy and she was driven by revenge. She says at first she didn’t know it was Tony behind it all, and she was caught in his trap. She says he offered her proof that her mom and dad were alive. She says that people got hurt because of her, but hopes they can forgive her. But Abe and Roman says that will not satisfy the state. She will be brought before the grand jury and charges will be brought and the punishment could be severe. Sami pleads with Roman to help her but he says he cannot control what happens...she did this to herself...she always does. Roman demands to know how da hell she could work for Tony. She says when she found out, it was too late. Lucas jumps in saying she lead them into danger and almost got them killed. She says when she learned what Tony was up to, she did what she could to save them. Lucas says he wants to forgive her but he can’t. Sami pleads with him, but he says she is dead to him, all he feels is hate and disgust. Sami bolts from the church as Kate tries to talk to Lucas. He says he hopes she is happy, this is what she wanted. She tries to say she did it all for him, but he says she did it all for revenge, and she is worse than Sami...it was all her fault....she started it all. He loved Sami and Kate pushed her too far. He says he never wants to see Kate again and storms off. Roman agrees with Lucas. Billie asks Kate if it was worth it all. She says yes, now both of her sons are rid of Sami. Meanwhile, Sami is in the garden crying as someone walks up behind her and offers her a hankie. She tells them to get away, everyone hates her. A voice says "I don’t" as she turns to see Austin standing there...and the previews show...
Philip: She’s going into labor right now...she could lose the baby...do something! (Marlena:) I don’t know what to do...
Shawn (to Alex): Why should I listen to you. (Alex): Because I lost the woman I loved...I have been in your shoes...
Austin (to Sami): I’m sorry Sami, but the truth is, you only have yourself to blame...
Bonnie (to Nicole): You’re planning on making a move on Austin Reed aren’t you?...
and the credits roll...

Episode # 10,151Directed by: Herb Stein
Tape Date: 8/24/05
Sami continues to claim she's innocent as wedding guests mull around, Lexie visits Jack as Frankie finds an old letter Jen never mailed confirming she loved him (great scene) and Belle goes into labor.
Jack tells Jen he just has a bug as she refuses to leave him for Lucas and Sami’s wedding. Frankie encourages Jack to tell Jen the truth when she goes for some Salem Tea. Jen calls someone, knowing it’ll cause WW III, but she doesn’t care. She asks Frankie to get a box in the garage labeled Horton Home Remedies for their heating pad. He laughs as he finds it, but notices an envelope she had addressed to him at his NYC address (256 112th St., Apt. B for those who want to know his address ;-) when she was still Jennifer Horton at 25 River Street, Salem USA 06694.
Lexie answers her phone at the church. It’s Jennifer. Lexie tells Jennifer she’s not missing much as Sami’s wedding is self destructing again. Jen asks Lexie to come over and she agrees. Jack’s not happy about that. Lexie arrives and Jen goes to get something as Lexie starts to take his blood pressure. She tells him he’s getting worse and writes a prescription for an antibiotic for Jack that will help, but urges him to tell Jennifer he’s dying. She tells him he doesn’t have a choice and he says he does, he’s going to disappear (what, and die alone?) He won’t commit suicide because Jennifer would kill him if he did…he’s just going to disappear. Lexie can’t stop him from dying where he wants to. He’ll figure out a way to let Jen and the family know he died quickly and not in pain. Lexie knows he’d be all by himself then. Jack tells her he knows Frankie will fill in for him with Jennifer. Marlena calls for Dr. Carver (hmm, knows her cell number or maybe it’s Belle’s phone?) for Belle. Lexie leaves Jack and heads back to the church.
Jen wonders what’s taking so long and remembers putting that letter to Frankie in the same box she asked him to get the heating pad from and panics. He can’t read that letter and she rushes out to see he had just done so. He asks why she hadn’t mailed it. She tells him she wrote it when he went off to school at Columbia and never mailed it. She figured he had forgotten her by that time and remembered Eve Donovan and other things in their lives were going on. She tells him she had a bus and train schedule and had considered joining him there. She loved him deeply. He chokes up and mad she never mailed it. She reminds him that he didn’t write her either. He gets emotional that they both threw away their whole future by not communicating. She tells him she can’t be upset about falling in love with Jack and the family they had. She takes the letter from him and wishes he never found it. Crying, he tells her he’s glad he found it as he knows she really did love him. He berates himself for not contacting her as they would have been married with a family of their own now.
Jenniver returns with the heating pad and goes to make more tea. Frankie joins her and she asks him to forget what she wrote in that letter. They have to leave their feelings in the past and don’t have a future. He remembers Jack’s request for him to take care of Jennifer and his kids when he dies.
Jack crumbles up the antibiotic prescription, saying it’s time for him to die.
AT THE CHURCH...John persists that Marlena stay and she to leave. He agrees she can leave, but NOT with Alex. Sorry John, Marlena’s a big girl and says buh bye. Philip swears to Belle that if Sami is responsible for him losing his leg and everything else…Belle pales and needs some fresh air as she insists that Philip stay to find out what he needs to. Shawn, and Mimi, follow Belle. They find Belle and she tells them she’s fine, just needs off her feet for a little while. She steps into the brides room to sit down as Mimi tells Shawn to cool it and let Philip take care of his wife. Marlena and Alex walk by Mimi and Shawn and Mimi tells her that Belle’s not feeling well and asks her to take a look at her. Marlena agrees and steps in the room with Belle. She finds Belle holding her belly and crying in pain. Marlena assures Belle she’s right there.
We see Austin sipping champagne out of a glass on the plane hoping this time Sami’s wedding goes well.
Sami denies the photos weren’t her, just computer trickery. She flat out lies, saying she wasn’t Stan as her family and friends refuse to believe her.Marlena is clearly agitated, knowing she should have been more upset about all that had just happened. She must have loved Roman and John at one time and now had no feelings for either of them. He calmly tells her that weddings affect people and it’s not unusual. He suspects the two men she loved may now be in love with Kate. She asks if he believes that they’re both in love with that dark haired woman (good grief, her name is Kate, do you have short term memory too?) He reminds her how she saw John with Kate making love to her while being held captive and Roman was/is married to her. He feels she’s afraid to remember as she doesn’t know how she stands with either of them as they both may love her (Kate) and she wouldn’t be loved herself in return. Marlena buys all this as she cries. She decides to leave Salem without even returning to the penthouse. It’s obvious that John and Roman are in love with that woman and she just wants to go away, far away (what money would she use to do so?) He suggests they go back to her cabin and she cries and falls into his arms, grateful for the suggestion.
BACK AT ST. LUKES…
Kate watches Belle as Philip tells her the guy his mother impersonated was the guy who almost got them killed overseas. Shawn is concerned about Belle as Mimi pulls him away. Marlena tells Alex she feels awkward as she doesn’t have any concern about anyone in there and she should. She shouldn’t have come and asks Alex to take her out of there. John stops her from leaving insisting Sami needs her more than ever. Billie is mad at Kate and knows Austin won’t be happy about this either. Kate tells Sami that she is Stan. Roman, Lucas and Will in the background, listen as Kate insists that Sami is Stan. Kate tells them how the clothes were delivered to her earlier with the envelope (that she hands Roman). Kate says they were delivered to her earlier in a pizza box. She opens the box to pull out the photos of Sami being transformed into Stan. Everyone in the wedding party looks at the photos..(so much for fingerprints, huh?).
Lexie’s in with Belle and Marlena tells Alex she can’t leave without knowing her daughter is okay. Belle tells Lexie about the cramps she’s having, worried she might lose the baby. Lexie says she’s in labor and Marlena helps try to calm Belle as she frets it’s too soon and she’ll lose her baby.
Mimi suggests to Shawn that they leave. He asks where and she has an idea.
Kate tells Sami to go up on the altar with the Bible and swear on it that she’s not Stan. Sami stares at her. Sami’s family stands by her as Sami thanks them. She asks Lucas who he believes. She asks him not to let his mother ruin their wedding. Lucas believes her and wants to marry her. Kate tells them she has more proof that she was Stan and will show it to everyone after they all claimed to believe Sami over her. It’s an ISA crime lab report (just how did Bart get the ISA to do that?) that her DNA and genetic markers were found all over the disguise. There is no way her DNA could be on it without her wearing it…so she MUST be Stan. Cue the shocked looks…as the previews roll…
Lexie tells Alex that he wants Marlena all to himself. He replies just like she wants Detective Kramer all to herself….
Shawn tells Mimi that Belle is having this baby and they need to be together (her and Philip I’m assuming)..we next see Philip watching Belle in pain as she tells him the baby is coming…
Sami has her back turned and rants that everyone hates her and Austin replies..I don’t as she turns around startled…as the credits roll..

Summary: Yet another Sami Brady wedding comes to a screeching halt, thanks to an uninvited guest...Chelsea runs off as Patrick goes to find her...Lexie catches Alex and threatens to expose him, but he counter-threatens her.
In the Bridal Room...It seems that Mimi while trying on Caroline’s dress, the zipper got stuck. She goes on whining about missing Rex and how she has nothing. Shawn tells her that she has him and they thank each other for their help during difficult times. Shawn looks for something to help (such as candle wax) and Mimi tells him good idea, she saw that on Martha Stewart (shameless plug there). Shawn can’t find anything but does find a bottle of champagne. He says that since Lucas doesn’t drink, they should indulge. He opens it and they toast their friendship. Mimi asks him if he will ever find someone else after Belle. He tells her that Belle admitted she still loves him, but will not leave Philip. They both say they have to move on as Mimi suggests move on together. She says they need to have some fun, so Shawn starts tickling her and the zipper pops. She goes to change as he tells her she will make a beautiful bride someday. She says that if the worst-cursed bride in Salem (Sami) can get her man...well, then maybe there is hope for her.Billie and Patrick are outside the church looking for Chelsea (she ran off after Sami insulted her). Billie prays she isn’t in trouble as Patrick offers to go look for her. He calls her later and tells her that he spotted Chelsea’s car at Salem Place. Chelsea is in the Java Cafe where she runs in to Josh (the boy that likes Abby) and he is all ga-ga over her outfit. Max shows up asking what is wrong. (I think) she sees Patrick outside and starts crying and hugging all over Max. She tells him that Sami called her a whore and that Sami is jealous of her. He tells her to forget about Sami and wants to go out and celebrate over her new job. Once Patrick is inside and within earshot, she accepts his invitation and kisses him. Max stops her but she says she knows what she is doing. He tells her that he is not just going to have sex with her, that won’t solve her problems. He wants to just go out and get to know her first. She walks away from him, over to Patrick, telling him she is so flattered that he came looking for her. Billie calls to check in with him and he hands the phone to Chelsea, who tells Billie she is okay. Billie tries to get her to come to the reception. After she gets off the phone, Chelsea tells Patrick he owes her (for being nice to Billie). She asks him to take her on a date.
In the church study, Lexie tries to get Alex to stop what he is doing. He threatens her, telling her if she tells anyone, he will tell Abe about her and Tek. We then learn (through a flashback) that he saw them going at it at the hospital. He says that Abe is blind in more ways than one. She tells him what he is doing to Marlena is wrong, but he says he is only treating her. Abe walks in asking what is going on. Lexie tries to cover, saying she was helping Alex with Marlena. Alex says that Marlena was upset and he was only trying to calm her down and that he would like to continue the session. Lexie convinces Abe to leave and then tells Alex she will NOT let him hurt her friend. Marlena repeats her mantra that ‘Alex will always protect me...I need Alex...etc.’ Alex tells Lexie that everything is okay, there is nothing for her to worry about but Lexie thinks he is brainwashing Marlena. He warns her to stay out of his way. She tells him she is not going to let him hurt Marlena, despite his threats. After she leaves, Alex continues with his ‘beautiful, sweet Marlena’. He tells her (she is still under) that from now on she will not be concerned with her children or husband, they only want to hurt her. She can only trust him. In the hallway, John runs into Abe, who tells him that Marlena is with Alex and Lexie in the study. On his way, he runs into Lexie as well and asks her what is going on. She tells him that Marlena was upset and that Alex is trying to help her with hypnosis. John becomes upset and she tells him to do something to stop it then as John storms off to find them. Alex brings Marlena out of the trance, telling her to remember his instructions. John comes in, demanding to know what is going on. Alex tries to smooth-talk his way out of it and Marlena takes up for him, saying that Alex is wonderful and she won’t give him up. She leaves to freshen up as John says something is going on here and he is going to get to the bottom of it.
Meanwhile, Sami and Lucas are going through the vows (yet again) when the mysterious figure comes in and reveals himself as Stan, asking Sami if she missed him as John, Philip and Lucas all have flashbacks of Stan. Sami stares at him as she has her own flashbacks of her transformation and says ‘it can’t be". Stan walks up to Sami, asking if she is surprised to see him. Tek has to restrain Lucas from him and Sami faints dead away. Roman and John are asking why he is there as Sami comes to, telling Lucas to get him out of there. Stan says he has a score to settle as Sami demands he be arrested. Philip asks Stan how he can live with himself and he tells them to ask Sami that question, who calls him crazy and evil. Stan says he isn’t going anywhere and the only one getting what is coming to them will be Sami. Stan says it is true, he worked for Tony and that no punishment would be too much. Yes, Stan is guilty, but the only problem is...he is not Stan. He turns to Sami and starts removing the disguise and in Kate’s voice says ‘I was only borrowing the disguise’. He removes the mask and reveals to everyone that ‘he’ is in fact Kate. Roman demands to know why she is dressed as Stan. She then turns toward Sami and says ‘Sami, should I tell them, or do you want to do the honors?’...as the previews show...Kate (to Sami): You, Sami Brady...are Stan...
Alex (to Marlena): The two men you loved may now very well be in love with Kate...
Frankie (to Jen): If I would have kept in touch, you and I could have a family of our own...
Jack: It’s time for you to die Jack old boy...
Belle (to Lexie): They’re stronger than last time...please tell me I am not losing my baby...
and the credits roll...

Episode#10149Tape date – 8/19
Director – Herb Stein
As we all knew only too well, Sami’s wedding is just not to be, while Alex exerts more of his unique brand of mind control on Marlena and the inept Salem PD proves once more they ALL need to get retrained.
CHELSEA ADMIRES the dress she is wearing, preens in front of the mirror, telling herself what good taste Gramma Kate has, and that she looks really good. Patrick comes in saying she is right, she looks really hot. He goes to Chelsea and kisses her. Billie comes in, asking what the heck they think they are doing. YEP, just another one of the fantasies with which Days tries to fool us. Billie has come in, tho, and tries to reason with Chelsea as to the inappropriateness of the dress for a wedding. Chelsea begins to whine about how it makes her feel so good, how she never had nice things, had to shop at the thrift store, blah, blah. Billie tells her she, too, had nothing when she came to town, and wanted nothing more than a career, money and a man. Chelsea says..that is when you met Bo. Billie says yes, and everyone thought Hope was dead, but she wasn’t. And Bo is with Hope, and that is o.k. because he gave her the most wonderful thing in the world….you. Chelsea smiles.
MIMI has escaped into the bride’s room, unable to view the 2nd wedding in two days. She bemoans her loss of Rex, the plans she had for the both of them, etc. Caroline comes in, looking for a hankerchief for Sami, as she knows Sami will cry buckets when she says I DO. She retrieves one from the chest, and then comforts Mimi, giving her a pep talk about eventually finding someone else. (shouldn’t Caroline be getting back to the wedding….heck Sami was about to say I do, last we saw).
Outside the church, Roman confers with Tek, joined immediately by Bo & Hope. Roman asks why Tek pulled him out of the wedding. (if this is all not the most stupid scenario) & Tek says the ISA has received several reports about an international terrorist having arrived in Salem and being spotted in vicinity of St. Luke’s church. Why St. Luke’s, Hope asks. And Bo says to just think about it, all the Brady & Horton extended families are in there (not that I could see, but what the heck, let’s suspend reality, shall we?) along with the last 3 Police Commanders. Perfect opportunity for DiMera to do harm. (and now DiMera is an international terrorist, the only one in the entire world, apparently…sigghhhh). Inside, just as Sami is about to say I Do, her precious father comes in yelling, and I do mean yelling to stop the wedding. Sami pitches a fit, and rightly so (another 30 seconds would not have mattered). He makes his “terrorist” speech, telling everyone to stay put. Sami argues with him, saying the wedding could be over during this arguing time (and we all agree, Sami….as I said, stupid scenario). Roman tells John to take everyone down to the rec room. (wow, that church really has a lot of extra rooms, doesn’t it? LOL.) John tells Marlena she should go to Sami, as her mother, that she may not remember Sami, but Sami remembers her. Marlena does, and tries to comfort the upset Sami, who is standing with Lucas & Will. Lucas promises her all will be o.k. and they all leave for the rec room. Father Jansen takes Will, and then all the strangers get herded downstairs (sorry, but they are, wonder if all those extras had to provide their own clothes?) Shawn looks for Mimi. Belle says she left her purse in the bride’s room, and goes to get it. We see a mysterious figure, all in black with a hood over the head, has snuck into the rec room, carrying a manila envelope with the name Sami Brady written on it.
In the bride’s room, Caroline is showing Mimi her wedding dress, when Belle enters with the news of the interrupted wedding, and the lockdown. Tek comes in, telling them to stay put, lock the door, and not to open it except for police. Caroline does some chattering about her wedding dress in the trunk, talks of when Belle put it on, and Shawn had the tuxedo on. She then tells Mimi to put the dress on. Down in the rec room, Shawn & Philip learn that Belle is with Mimi & Caroline in the bride’s room, & decide to go there. Mimi has come out, wearing the dress, as Philip & Shawn arrive. Shawn tells Mimi she looks beautiful (she does) and we can see Belle looking wistful, I guess.
Marlena gets very nervous at all the people in the rec room, so Alex spirits her off into another room. There, he insidiously talks to her about how her family is using her, not caring about her condition, only their own, mentioning Sami. Marlena protests that it is Sami’s wedding day, and all brides are self-absorbed. She wants to join her family, but Alex stops her, continuing to talk against her family and John. She tries to leave, but he won’t let her. He keeps talking about the need to isolate her. He then begins to hypnotize her (and it looks like he is using the blue topaz necklace John gave her), when Lexie comes by, sees what is going on thru the open door, and rushes in. She gives Alex a hard time about him using hypnotism for mind control, and he gives her a song and dance about how, in amnesia cases, it can have the opposite effect. Lexie insists that John should know about this, and she is going to tell him. Alex tells her that she is NOT to tell John, because if she does, he will tell Abe about her sleeping with Tek. (LOL, would not call that desk top romp or the supply closet escapade “sleeping”, haha). Lexie is shocked!
The black clothes mystery figure has now entered the church. Hope comes in, gun drawn, looks around, talks to Bo via radio that all is secure. The mystery figure is hiding behind a pew. So much for a good search. Bo says the vestibule is secure. They radio Tek. In the rec room, Sami runs into Chelsea, takes one look and says she did not know she had invited a streetwalker to her wedding. Ouch! Chelsea goes right back at Sami, wondering how many wedding dresses she has accumulated now. Sami calls her a tramp, like her Gramma Kate and her mother. They have a few more words, and Chelsea runs out. Billie sees her, enlists Patrick’s help and they go after her. Bo bumps into Chelsea running out the door, with Patrick after her. Billie stops Bo from going after them, saying Patrick knows how to handle this. Patrick tries to talk to Chelsea. Tek goes to the bride’s room to tell them all the church is secure, and the wedding will now continue. Mimi has to get out of the dress, Shawn is going to wait for her, so Belle wants to wait, too. Caroline says no, Sami needs her best man & matron of honor there, she is nervous enough.
Everyone is now back in the church, except for Alex & Marlena. Sami & Lucas are standing at the altar, Father Jansen has Lucas repeat his I do, then, just as Sami is about to say hers, the back door to the church opens (so much for Salem PD “security”) and the black clothed figure enters. Off goes the hood….and there stands Stan, who says, “Hello, Sami, did you miss me?”. Camera freeze on the shocked face of Sami…..as the previews show……….
Roman to Lucas, as a stunned Sami looks on: Are you sure this is the guy? Lucas replies, Yeah, I’d know him anywhere. And Stan says, About as well as you’d know your own bride – isn’t that right, Samantha?
John to Alex: you’re gonna tell me why you’re hypnotizing my wife, and you’re gonna tell me right now.
Shawn: I have to move on with my life. Mimi: So what do you say we move on together?
Billie, apparently praying: Don’t let her be in any trouble
Roman: Stan’s inside. Abe replies: DiMera’s Stan?
Stan: The only one whose getting what’s coming to them is Sami
And the credits roll……

Episode No.: 10,148; Directed by: Albert Alarr; Tape Date: 8/18/05Tiz Sami and Lucas' wedding day (finally) as guests arrive and Sami gets ready and makes it to the altar while Kate and Nicole commiserate together as Austin jets his way to Salem.
AT THE PENTHOUSE… Marlena is dressed in a dark blue gown and insisting to John that if anyone stays, it’s Alex (enough already…I was gone for a week and that’s what she was doing when I left!). Big surprise, John agrees to let Alex stay and apologizes for his behavior. He could almost swear that Alex did something to her while she was sleeping (as we see a replay of Alex climbing through her window), but Alex says they both know that’s impossible as John kept him virtually a prisoner in his own room. Marlena asks what Alex is referring to and John tells her. We see Alex telling Marlena how much she needs him (as she repeats it) while she’s sleeping and Marlena tells John if Alex leaves, so does she.AT THE LOFTS….
Belle is dressed in her pink and black gown while chattering away to Philip upstairs how she’s surprised Sami wanted her to be her matron of honor (who else would do it?) and hoping she doesn’t faint during the ceremony as Sami wouldn’t be as understanding at Chloe and Brady were. Philip comes downstairs in his dress uniform (he’s the best man) without a cane, proclaiming the prosthesis was as wonderful as the doctor’s had proclaimed. He suggests trying to dance, but agrees to only a slow dance at the reception. He tells her how he met another guy with the same type of prosthesis at a NYC hospital that is training for a marathon. He recalls lying on that mine field and asking God for one last chance to tell Belle how he loved her. She rubs her enormous belly (didn’t he notice how she blew up in the couple days he was gone?) as he tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him too.
Across the hall, Mimi’s all dressed and yelling to Shawn to hurry it up. They were up late watching a movie like Jurassic Park, but apparently had more x-rated scenes than Jurassic Park did as we hear moaning while they hunt for the remote. She remembers how they finished that movie, surprised at how fast it ended..and watched it again as it replayed. He kissed her cheek and said she was the best friend ever. Back to present, he asks her to help him with his tie after exclaiming how hot each other looks.
The four meet in the hallway and decide to ride over together in Mimi’s car being it’s fixed now. Later they arrive as Belle goes to be with Sami, Shawn to seat guests.
AT THE CHURCH, Sami tells Roman maybe the next wedding will be his and Marlena’s. Caroline and Roman both remind her that Marlena IS married to John. Caroline changes the subject how Sami should concentrate on her own wedding now and to get ready. Roman leaves, promising Sami to ask Marlena to walk her down the aisle with him before leaving. He runs into Lexie in the hall and inquires about Abe and says Kate wasn’t invited to the wedding today.Later Caroline’s dressed in a forest green dress, trying to help Sami get ready solo, curling her hair as Sami freaks that everyone wasn’t at the church yet. Caroline assures her that not everyone arrives 3 hours before the ceremony (LOL) and to chill out.
In the hall, Roman tells Lucas that he’s the best thing to ever happen to his daughter and thanks him for straightening her out. Lexie sighs in relief as he embraces his future son in law. Will (apparently they didn’t have time to get his hair cut yet) calls out to Sami and she starts to open the door until she hears Lucas’ voice and slams it again, refusing to let him see her. He yells out that he can’t wait to marry his little “firecracker”, and leaves as Roman and Lexie chuckle. Sami can’t believe it’s finally going to happen as she dries her eyes. She asks for the mirror and it falls to the ground and breaks. Seven years of bad luck she exclaims. Later there’s a knock on the door and Sami calls out if it’s Lucas to go away…she can’t afford any more bad luck, LOL.
Marlena and her escorts arrive, much to Roman’s delight. He asks her to walk Sami down the aisle with him. She looks to Alex and he nods yes, which upsets John as he protests she has her own mind. She says she just values Alex’s opinion, but consents to walk Sami down the aisle and goes to tell Sami with Roman. John and Alex argue more about who is really trying to control Marlena. Alex vows he only cares what’s best for his patient, but John knew he was making progress with Marlena before bed the night before.
Roman tells Sami it’s him with her mother and she lets them in. He informs her that Marlena will walk her down the aisle with him and Sami is thrilled. She hugs her and Marlena doesn’t respond as Sami apologizes, but asks if she remembers being her mother and how much she loves Roman. Marlena calmly replies she knows she was married to Roman and is her mother. She also knows the baby she lost was his and how hard it must have been for him, especially being she was married to John and he to that dark haired girl that was her friend. Sami interrupts saying Kate Roberts was NOT her friend and did not deserve to be married to daddy. Roman and Caroline pipe up in Kate’s defense. Caroline tells Sami today is not the day to start that.
AT KATE’S HOTEL ROOM, Billie's gone, but Nicole arrives, whining about losing Brady forever and wanting serious revenge against Sami. Kate agrees to a temporary truce in their joint hatred of Sami Brady. They toast and Nicole’s happy that at least Austin got wise to Sami in time. Speaking of Austin, the phone rings and he’s on a plane and tells his mother that he’s arriving later than expected. Nicole remembers kissing Austin and wishing she had met him under better circumstances…but she had to stay there and he to NYC. Kate panics at the thought of Austin with Nicole. Nicole finally offers to tell Kate what she had on Sami and Kate said it’s too late to stop the wedding, don’t bother (oh yeah, like we all believe THAT!) Nicole is bursting at the seams and tells her how Sami was Stan. Kate chokes on her drink and wants to run to the church with this information. Nicole reminds her there’s no evidence. Kate recalls Tony’s saying Sami’s disguise, but she figured it was as his lawyer, not Stan. The car that blew up had Stan’s clothes in it, their only proof. Kate decides the only thing they can do is to get very drunk as they toast to Sami’s demise.BART anxiously awaits something and it finally arrives. He rushes out with it.
ON THE PLANE…Austin knows he missed the wedding as the plane won’t be landing for about 45 minutes. He figures he should have flown in the night before, but can hit the reception, assuming this wedding does happen.
KATE AND NICOLE are flopped on the couch drinking as they talk about Austin. Nicole goes to fix herself up for Austin as Kate answers the door. No one is there, but there’s something on the floor (we don’t see it, but assume Bart left whatever he received for her).
BACK TO THE BRIDE’S ROOM, Belle walks in happy to see her mom there. Marlena says she has the prettiest girls in Salem. They think she’s remembering, but Marlena just says that’s what everyone has been telling her. Sami is now dressed in her veil and gown, looking absolutely beautiful. Her curled hair is pulled back and secured behind her neck with a small veil in the back. Her thin strapped scooped (but no cleavage exposed) gown with off the shoulder delicate fabric accents is very beautiful. As the women give her the traditional gifts. Caroline gives her the something new (a garter, that Sami knows Lucas will enjoy taking off her) and something blue (that I didn’t see). Belle hands her the something old and borrowed…Marlena’s pearls. Sami gasps and tells Marlena how they use to be hers and she had wanted her to wear them at her wedding. Belle knows how upset Sami was that John gave them to her. Sami hugs her sister, saying she takes bad all the bad things she said about her (love Belle’s reaction to that) as Sami turns to ask Marlena to help her on with them. Marlena agrees as Sami cries in happiness.
The church is filling up (mostly with strangers). Lucas and Philip at the altar waiting. Will sits in the front pew of the bride's side as John sits behind him in the second aisle. (see, if he had gotten a hair cut he might have been an usher , LOL) Belle walks down the aisle and winks to Philip after taking her place. Everyone stands as the cue for the bride’s arrival is played. Roman and Marlena walk in arm in arm and they step aside on each side of the aisle as Sami walks up to them. They walk her down the aisle with the slow one foot before the other procession as Sami glows walking down the aisle. Marlena and Roman both say WE DO when asked who gives the bride away. He moves to the front row of the bride’s side and extends his hand to her. She looks at him, John and Alex, (in the front row of the groom’s side (being Billie, Kate and Austin aren’t there, the pew is empty…but still awkward for HIM to be there). Marlena is confused and goes to sit with Alex, much to John and Roman’s dismay. We watch as Samantha Gene and Lucas Desmond are about to be married. Later when the priest says the usual…does anyone hear object to this union, Sami and Lucas turn and look at everyone, hoping no one pipes up (ROFLMAO) as we see expressions on the guests faces. (hmmm…..strange that Bo, Hope, Grandpa Shawn, Jack, Jen, Alice, as the list goes on….aren’t there for Sami and Lucas!!!) Vows are read s Sami and Lucas stare into each other’s eyes. Lucas agrees as does Sami.as tears fall from her eyes….as the previews roll….
Sami and Lucas smile and nod as Roman walks in saying this wedding is to stop (ah, there’s Bo and Tek wearing suits and Hope walking in with Roman)
Billie walks in and catches Patrick kissing Chelsea. She asks what’s going on here and what the hell the two…
Shawn sees Mimi dressed in a wedding gown and tells her she’s beautiful as Belle watches nervously.
Lexie sees Alex hypnotizing Marlena though an open door and walks in asking what he’s doing to her…
As the credits roll…

Summary: It’s a new day in Salem...Sami is preparing for her wedding...Bo is forced to have a father/daughter chat with Chelsea...Alex continues to manipulate Marlena.
At the Deveraux House...Bo and Hope are there on their way to the wedding. Chelsea comes parading through the living room (in a gold halter top and shiny red mini-skirt) announcing that is what she is wearing to the wedding. Everyone is shocked, thinking it is too mature for her. Chelsea announces that Grandma Kate gave it to her as she and Abby proceed to the kitchen. Bo says he can’t talk to her about clothes and Hope reminds "Beauregarde" that she is HIS daughter (lol). In the kitchen, Chelsea and Abby paw through a pile of the latest fashions that Kate gave her (from Paris and Milan) with Chelsea saying she hit the mother load. She is sure that Patrick will notice her in these things. Abby tries to convince her to not go after him but she is determined. Chelsea decides that Abby needs to dress like this as well, to find a man...NOT that nerd from the Java Cafe. She gives Abby an outfit to wear to the wedding, saying all the men will drool over her. In the other room, Jen thinks that Chelsea is being a bad influence on Abby. Bo says he will not allow his daughter to dress like a... "hooch" Jennifer finishes. Bo goes to the kitchen and tells Chelsea she can’t wear that to the wedding as Abby leaves, outfit in hand. Jen and Hope listen at the door, thinking it’s awfully quiet in there. A little later, Abby comes down dressed in a black sparkly halter top and short white mini-skirt, shocking them. She tells them that Chelsea gave it to her and Jen pitches a fit, telling her she is NOT wearing that. Abby claims she has nothing else to wear. Jen tells her that her dad will have a FIT and to go change. In the kitchen, Bo lectures Chelsea and says he is going to have a little talk with Kate as well. Chelsea whines and lays it on thick, saying that these clothes make her feel important and for him not to ruin it for her. Bo says she doesn’t have to dress like that to get people’s attention...that’s just not the way we do things. But she says she just wants to feel accepted. Bo doesn’t want men looking at her like that. She finally says if it will make him feel better she will change or find a shawl to put on, so they seem to reach a compromise. As she leaves, Hope comes in. (LOL at her face as she looks at some of the clothes on the table). Bo tells her that they had a good talk and he feels better. Hope brings up Chelsea’s bag of tricks, upsetting Bo, saying she is just young. Bo doesn’t think her clothes will send her to hell, but Hope says new clothes isn’t what she needs...she needs discipline and to behave appropriately. Abby comes downstairs as Chelsa gives her a hard time, telling her she is dressed like her mom (as Bo and Hope overhear this). Jen comes down and they are only waiting on Jack and they will be ready to go. They all hope this wedding goes off without a hitch. Hope says one thing for sure...it won’t be boring (LOL).
Billie is with Kate (who is moping around). Billie plays along and tells her that she just won’t go to the wedding either, volunteering to go shopping with her. Kate tells her that Austin is going to be there and Lucas needs her as well. She says she has lost Lucas but does have a new grand daughter. Billie tells her that she needs to stop with the gifts, she is spoiling Chelsea. Kate claims she is only trying to make up for lost time. Billie says the clothes are too sophisticated for her but Kate says not. Billie is sure that it will all overwhelm Chelsea. Kate thinks that it is just hard for Billie to accept that Chelsea is a mature young lady...just going after what she wants. And speaking of...Billie should use this opportunity to go after Bo as well. Billie gets irritated and tells her to leave Bo and Chelsea alone...stay out of HER life and go back to Lucas. She tells her she should call Lucas and even apologize to Sami. Kate is furious to hear this and refuses. She tells Billie that Lucas and Will are in danger with Sami. She is sure that Sami is mixed up with Tony...she was conspiring with him, but she cannot prove it. She says she is holding on to one hope...Sami’s wedding curse. She says that maybe Lucas will get lucky and Sami will get struck by lightening. There is a pop of thunder and they look at each other. Kate says it COULD happen. (LOL).Roman and Abe are outside the church and Abe tells him that they are picking up an informant. The ISA had bugged Tony’s cell and they may get some information. He says that Tony blames "Stan" for his escape failing. Roman wishes they could blow the whistle on him. They can’t figure out what is going on. Roman remembers Tony telling him when they caught him that he had just destroyed the life of someone he loves. Roman gets the feeling he was talking about Sami. He fears that Tony will ruin Sami’s day.
In the bridal room...Sami gets flowers from Lucas and is so happy her dreams are finally coming true. She says that Tony’s escape failed and now Stan is dead and gone. She turns to find Caroline standing there who says "Samantha, how could you?" No, she didn’t hear any of that, she is just berating her for getting ready for her wedding with out her. Sami says that it would be perfect if Marlena were there too. She only wishes that her mom and dad were together. Caroline reminds her that people make choices and live by them. Sami is afraid that Roman will spend the rest of his life alone. Roman comes to see them and offers Sami advice...and remember the 2 words honesty and integrity and all will be fine. Caroline has a third word...forgiveness. She thinks that Roman should forgive Kate. But Sami disagrees, saying that he and Marlena were made for each other...she being the love of his life. She urges him not to give up on her. She reminds him that she was pregnant with his child and when she gets her memory back, will remember HE is the one she loves. Roman doesn’t want to talk about it and jokes that everyone is in the parking lot making bets on whether she will get married this time or not. But Sami thinks that it would be awesome if Marlena were to get her memory back during the ceremony and remember everything. At the Penthouse...Marlena is dreaming of John telling her she has to get her memory back. Then she sees Alex telling her he is going to take care of her. Downstairs, Alex walks in with John telling him he knows he never left his room. Alex has flashbacks of sneaking into Marlena’s room and standing over her, saying he is just what the doctor ordered. He says she will have a peaceful night and wake up in a perfect mood. Back to the living room, Alex tells John he only wants Marlena to become more herself every day. Marlena wakes up and looks in the mirror, saying that today will be a perfect day. John and Alex argue as Alex reminds him he is a doctor and calls John paranoid, saying he is just trying to help her. More flashbacks here of Alex speaking into (what looks like) a small tape recorder, saying that Marlena needs him and will always be there for her (as she repeats all he says). He puts the recorder under her pillow (I guess so it plays over and over during her sleep). In real time, John talks about how he thinks Marlena is about to make a break through and will no longer need Alex around. Alex says he will go pack. Marlena comes down asking what John did or said to him. She begs Alex not to leave and he goes upstairs to dress for the wedding. She tells John she will do anything to keep him there with her. She is angry with John and he reminds her of last night and how well she was doing as she lashes out at him and does a 180. Alex comes back downstairs with his bags and she says if he leaves, she is going with him. John reminds her that today is her daughter’s wedding day and she doesn’t care. She says she doesn’t know Sami...Alex is all she cares about, she just wants to be with him. John stares at her in shock as the previews show...
Mimi (to Belle): You really need to give it up Belle (Belle): What are you talking about? (Mimi): You need to see a shrink because you have serious problems...
Nicole (to Kate): I am going to squash Sami’s dreams of marrying Lucas and living happily ever after for once and for all...
Marlena (to Alex): What are you talking about? (Alex, to John): Are you going to tell her or should I?...
Sami breaks her mirror and screams "Oh my God!...7 years of bad luck...starting right now!"...
as the credits roll...

Summary: Nothing earth-shattering going on here...Brady and Chloe enjoy their wedding night...Bonnie urges Mimi go make a move on Shawn...Philip returns home...John and Marlena get to spend a little alone time...Sami and Lucas also get to spend a little alone time the night before their wedding.
Brady and Chloe arrive at the cottage to find it filled with the flowers he had arranged to have. She is impressed and touched and they kiss. Later, Chloe is in her negligee and Brady makes a toast to their and their future. He talks about the honeymoon (both are excited about going to Paris and then a Greek cruise). Chloe talks about how he transformed her and makes her feel so strong. She tells him she has a confession, she hasn’t been faithful to him and his love. He is confused and she explains that when she was in the accident and lied to him, feeling he would be better off thinking she was dead and that was terrible of her. She says she should have been honest from the beginning and hopes that he can forgive her. He says he can’t accept her apology...there is nothing to apologize for...they are together now and that is what is important. She can’t believe how understanding he is. Later we see them in bed making love. Afterward, he tells her that together, they are invincible. They talk about how lucky they are and begin kissing again.Mimi tells Belle that she finally understands...that she is afraid that Shawn will fall in love with her. Shawn returns with Belle’s wrap and asks if she is okay...what is going on? He realizes that something is wrong, but they tell him it’s nothing, Belle is just tired. He offers to give her a ride home and Mimi tells them to go ahead. After they leave, Bonnie starts on Mimi for letting him get away. She cannot believe that she is her daughter. She talks about how beautiful she is and encourages her to "reel him in" and Mimi tells her to stop. Bonnie asks if she is in love with Shawn, and Mimi says that she likes him...alot. Bonnie pushes her to go for him then, flaunt what she’s got. Mimi says if it is meant to be, it will happen naturally...she refuses to throw herself at him.
Shawn and Belle arrive at the loft and he offers to make her some tea. Philip returns home and asks what the hell’s going on as Shawn explains that he brought her home. Lexie calls to check on Belle as Philip asks what is wrong and they explain to him about the cramps earlier. Philip thanks Shawn for looking out after her and apologizes for reacting the way he did. He walks around for them, showing off his new leg and says he feels great. He talks about how their lives are changing. After Shawn says his good-nights and leaves, Philip asks Belle if she has something to tell him. She tells him that Shawn was a good friend to her. She takes his hand and places it on her stomach to feel the baby kick as he bends down to talk to him/her. He assumes that she and Mimi are getting along better and then goes on to talk about Mimi and Shawn getting together and finding happiness. He is sure that Mimi will be back to normal again soon and she will change because of Shawn. They hug as she looks over his shoulder at Shawn’s picture.Shawn goes home to find Mimi in a towel, just out of the shower. He tells her about Philip being home and gives her an update on him. She talks about Philip and Belle as she remembers her mom’s words. She tells him that she is going to bed and heads to her room. Shawn is also remembering Bonnie’s words and tells her to come back...he has a proposition for her. He tells her that Jurassic Park 3 is on TV and asks if she would like to watch it with him. She says sure and he goes to make popcorn.
At the Penthouse...Marlena, John and Alex return home to a hot house...the AC is not working. John suggests she go and take a cool shower and change. While she is gone, he and Alex argue about his interference. John is determined that Marlena will remember. She returns as John puts on some music. Alex suggests she go to bed, but she goes out on the terrace where it is cooler. John tells Alex to leave, but he refuses. John joins her on the terrace and has a gift for her...a topaz necklace. He puts it on her and tells her she is beautiful. She says he makes her feel so protected and cared for. He asks her to dance and she has flashbacks of dancing with him before. She asks him if it was at a wedding. He suggests that she just stop trying so hard...it will come to her. As they dance, Alex keeps an eye on them. She tells John that she is tired and really should go to bed, tomorrow will be a big day. He tells her that they pick back up tomorrow. She heads to bed as Alex announced he is turning in as well. John warns him to stay in his room and shows him a remote for his security system and tells him that if Marlena’s door opens, he will know about it. He tells Alex that he and Marlena feel that they are close to a breakthrough. Later, John is ready for bed testing the remote. We then see Alex outside the building making his way along the ledge to Marlena’s room. He jumps down on the terrace and opens the door quietly and sneaks toward her bed.Lucas and Sami return to her place, Sami so excited about her wedding, talking about all she has to do. Lucas suggests some "alone time" for them but she thinks it could mean bad luck. He laughs at her, saying let’s live dangerously. They kiss and she tells him that he can’t spend the night. He promises to leave at 11:59, saying they have an hour and 29 minutes, lol. She doesn’t want to tempt fate, but he promises her that he loves her so much and won’t let anything go wrong this time. Later, they are lying on the sofa watching TV and the news talks about Tony being captured and how his car exploded, destroying tons of evidence. Lucas is talking about how Stan may never be caught but Sami wants him to forget about that guy and focus on them. Lucas promises to let it go...for now. Sami tells him that she feels the Sami Brady wedding curse has been lifted, no one can stop them now. They are kissing and she realizes it is almost midnight and rushes him out the door. He says this is the last time he will say he loves "Sami Brady"...after tomorrow, it will be "Sami Roberts". After he leaves, she is thrilled and says that Tony has NOTHING on her...she is marrying the man of her dreams. As she dances around the apartment, we see a box of trash with pictures of her during her transformation to Stan. Sami says all her dreams are going to come true as we see a picture of Sami on the left, Stan on the right of the screen...and the previews show...
Hope (to Bo): She needs to behave appropriately...that’s what she needs, Bo (Bo): Are you implying that my daughter is a tramp?...
Billie (to Kate): I am not going to my brother’s wedding...
Marlena (to John): I don’t know what you said or did to him, but I will do anything to keep Alex with me...
Sami (to Roman): She is the greatest love of your life...don’t give up on that...fight for her...
and the credits roll...

Very jumpy show today – bear with me.
Some very sweet and very romantic moments, both at the reception and outside; some very strong arguments and a two very big warnings….However, there is still the glaring absence of the bride’s parents…
We start with Roman and Lucas putting an unconscious Sami in a chair. She comes to, confused about what happened and surrounded by her concerned men (Roman, Lucas and Will). She chalks it up to nerves and heat, but Kate comes from behind a plant to confront her. She says it had nothing to do with the temperature and everything to do with Roman’s news about Tony’s thwarted escape attempt and the costumes in the trunk. What is Sami afraid that Tony is going to divulge about her? They end up getting into an argument when Roman leaves to take a call about Tony. Will and Lucas both get very upset and stand up for Sami, telling Kate to back off. Sami ends up sending them both for a drink, while Will does not want to leave the two of them alone. Kate ends up telling Sami that they both know who she was pretending to be and that she will lose all three men and end up in a prison cell next to Tony DiMera, alone. Sami, of course, denies all. She tells Sami that she knows that Sami was the attorney. Sami warns Kate that no one will believe her. No evidence that Tony has anything. Lucas comes back just as Kate starts to yell. Will steps in, too. When she turns to Will, Lucas forces her to leave. Roman turns around to Sami with a strange look. He comes over, and ends up telling them that there was nothing left after the car blew up. No DNA on the disguises, no evidence on the disks. They are still adamant that they will get Stan, but Sami thinks she is home free.
Victor tells Brady and Chloe that they inspire each other, which makes the difference between a good marriage and a bad one. He tells Brady to take as much time off work as he wants, his job will always be waiting for him. He would rather they get busy making great-grandbabies for him. ;) He leaves them to find Alex outside looking off where John and Marlena left. He introduces himself to the doctor, who knows who he is to John, and about Isabella. Victor warns him that he wants John to be happy – which means that John had better not lose Marlena because of Alex. John has already lost one great love, he will not lose another. Alex ends up going to the bar, where Kate finds him and tells him that she trusts him even less than John does. She tells him that everyone wants Marlena to get her memory back, and he wonders if she is sure about that? What if the root of her amnesia is that she wants Roman back and is afraid to choose? After all, this all came from getting pregnant with Roman’s child. He leaves her to think about that.Outside the restaurant, Mimi lights into Belle about stringing Shawn along. She thinks the cramps were psychosomatic – it is funny that there was nothing wrong until Phillip was away for the day and she could hear Mimi and Shawn laughing and talking in the hallway. She tells Belle that if it weren’t for the baby, Phillip would be history and Belle would high-tail it back to Shawn. Mimi is so totally right, but Belle turns it back on Mimi by declaring that it is all about Mimi falling in love with Shawn. Mimi says she respected that Shawn gave Belle his heart, but she stomped on it and threw it back at him. She blames it on him running off with Jan Spears, but Mimi reminds her that he was drugged, which Belle claims she didn’t know at the time. Mimi tells her that Shawn told her there was something wrong and she didn’t believe him, but Mimi did. Mimi tears her a new one for punishing him by choosing Phillip, then not letting Shawn move on with someone else. Belle tells her that Shawn never would have chosen Mimi otherwise….Mimi yells at her because every time Shawn wants to move on, she reels him back in with some kind of problem and won’t let him go. She is married to Phillip, let him go! Then she clues in – it is because it is Mimi. Belle must be afraid that if he falls for Mimi, she may never be able to get him back – cut to Shawn in the background.
Meanwhile, in the foyer, Bonnie is telling Shawn about how heart-broken Mimi is over the loss of Rex, who broke her self-esteem and shredded her spirit. Shawn claims he doesn’t see what Bonnie is describing, but she continues on about how Rex abandoned her and she needs someone to support her. He tells her that Rex will calm down and come back to her, but she says he will never return to Mimi. She tells him how Rex has sent some very hateful emails that Bonnie found by accident, but was sworn to secrecy over. She lays it on pretty thick about how Mimi needs someone to support her and rebuild her self-esteem. Shawn promises to be there for her and then goes to find Belle’s wrap As Brady and Chloe leave, Shawn finally finds the wrap under a chair after looking everywhere else for it, and, as he leaves, Bonnie tells him (to herself) to focus all his attention, time and hormones on Mimi.
Chelsea and Max have a brief conversation about marriage and monogamy. He doesn’t like the idea of being tied to one woman, which Frankie talks to him about later. Frankie tells him that someday he will want just one woman, too, instead of a bunch of one night stands, but Max is only interested in variety. Frankie uses Pop and Mom as an example, does he want that stability, or to still be looking for one nighters at that age? Max goes back to Chelsea and tells her that he wants a real relationship with her, not just sex. He wants to get to know her before they sleep together. She thought he wanted to have fun – he promises they will when things get really boring, but not now.
At their table, Jen is still trying to get Frankie to tell her Jack’s secret. He tells her that he is sworn not to say, but ends up telling her that Jack’s secret is that he is in love. A very hurt Jen asks with who? He tells her it is her. He could only wish for a selfless, deep love like that which Jack has for Jen and their children. He tells her to enjoy every moment she has with them. Somehow, Frankie ends up mentioning their divorce and Jen asks how he knew about it. Turns out, he has been keeping track of the two of them. He says it is because he kept up with the Spectator and her various talk shows. He mentions their separation, their divorce and him coming back, (but not Peter or Colin in between times???). He wants to find a love like theirs. At the edge of the room, Abby asks Jack to tell her the truth, which he does, in a very watered down version. He admits that he hasn’t been feeling well since he came home, but he will be there for her and her mother and her brother forever and ever. She is satisfied. When Abby mentions how the wedding was like a fairy tale, he wants to know what her fairy tale wedding is going to be like. She says he has quite a while before he will find out – there is college, and grad school, a career, and the right guy. He gets all emotional and asks her if they can try the father-daughter dance, just to be safe. He explains that he is not a very good dancer and would like to practice so that when the time comes, he will not embarrass her by stepping on her feet. She asks about his ankle, and while he probably can’t cha-cha, he thinks he can handle a slow dance. We have a fantasy of Jack and a very beautiful Abby as a bride in a fancy ball room, dancing to a very pretty song. (It has something to do with a father dancing with his little girl, and the woman she has become – a wedding song for a father and the bride). Jen and I are both watching with tears in our eyes…
Marlena is dancing with John while Chloe and Brady sing “Forever Yours.” John asks Marlena if dancing to their song made her remember being in his arms. She says maybe, but it is like a foggy view of a different time and place. She admits to being scared, but wanting her memory back. John tells her he has an idea, but she has to come with him right now. Of course, Alex blocks their path and wants to know where John is going with HIS patient. John states that is none of his business, but he insists everything about her – where she goes, who she sees, etc. – IS his business. Marlena tells him about her memory/feeling, which he dismisses as possibly not real. John wants to follow up while it is still fresh in her mind, which Alex also argues against as detrimental. Marlena asks John where they are going, and when he tells her the park, she decides there can’t be much harm in that, and she goes with him. They end up in the park at a horse-drawn carriage. John tells Ian to take the usual route, which prompts questions from Marlena. John tells her that they used to take that ride once or twice a week, it was one of her favourite things. She likes the idea. They talk about her lack of memory and they look for constellations and he tells the story behind the one he shows her. They get closer….But Alex stops the ride. John tells Ian to run him over….John says that her memory is not the issue –she is enjoying the ride, with John, not Alex, which is the real problem. She decides this time that her doctor must know what is best for her. She thanks him for the ride and goes home with Alex. John vows to get her out from under his control, even if he has to kill him.And the previews roll…..
Chloe to Brady: “I have a confession to make. I haven’t been faithful to you.”
Phillip walks in to the loft – “What the hell is going on in here?” Flashes of Belle and Shawn (she is in the living room area, he behind the kitchen island)
Sami is wrapped in a blanket on her couch, “All my dreams are coming true.”
Marlena: “I want to remember this,” as there is a screen shot of Alex and John, divided by lightning.

Episode #10,144
Tape date – 8/12/05
The wedding reception continues, with more little conversations, confontations, a bit of dancing and a song from Chloe. And we note the GLARING absence of the bride’s parents, Nancy & Craig!
Mimi gets upset as she overhears Belle telling Shawn that she never stopped loving him, & never will. She runs off, bumping into Brady & Chloe, who were admiring her ring. She congratulates them, while they thank her for being part of the wedding. Victor is on the phone with Nico, who evidently has managed to find Nicole. Victor tells him to take her to his place, but Nicole wants to talk to Victor. We don’t hear her or see her, but she evidently tells Victor she has some love letters in her purse, that Brady wrote her.
Caroline & John ask the newlyweds about their honeymoon. Brady tells them about spending tonight at the cottage, and then taking off tomorrow. Chloe says they are going first to Paris, and then wherever their whims take them, as Brady comments that there has better be a beach in there somewhere. Cue John to have flashback of him and Marlena romping on a beach. (I think it was their honeymoon in Hawaii) Alex is meanwhile urging Marlena to leave the reception, saying she has put in her appearance now, and he will drive her home. Outside, Bo is once more confronting Patrick about staying away from his daughter. (These guys must hate having this same
dialogue over and over, lol)
Chelsea apologizes to Billie for the way she has been treating her, and goes to find Max. (now just WHY is he at this wedding? He also knows neither the bride OR the groom…sigghhh……oh, BTW, he now has a little goatee beard) She asks Max to dance, and he tells her his agent called him. Seems Max has not been on the racing circuit this summer (gee, the writers finally noticed that, huh?) and one of his major sponsors has dropped him, and he may lose a couple others. Chelsea tells him not to worry, she will get her wealthy gramma who heads up Basic Black to have BB sponsor him. (My, my, Chelsea, pretty sure of yourself, and you have not even begun to work there, yet). Billie tells Hope about the apology, but Hope is skeptical, sure Chelsea has ulterior motive. (glad Hope has kept the Salem brain, she is the only one using it wisely of late)
Frankie is dancing with Jennifer, but decides he cannot do this anymore, and tells her to go spend time with her husband. Jennifer knows something is amiss with Jack, that he & Frankie exchange these “looks”, and demands to know what is going on. Abby is questioning her dad, wanting to know why he keeps throwing her mom at her old boyfriend. He gives her the song and dance about his twisted ankle. Will worries about his mom to Lucas, while Sami talks to her dad about Tony’s escape attempt.
Brady & Chloe cut the wedding cake, feeding each other a piece, then kiss to the oohs and ahs of the assembled guests. (I just cannot believe that Craig & Nancy are not at this reception……shame on Days) And no, there was no smooshing of the cake on each other’s face at all. LOL John & Victor talk about Dr. North, with Victor telling John to fire the man. John says he tried that, explains the man has made Marlena so dependent on him, & he has no legal right to do so. John stops Marlena & Alex from leaving, saying Brady would be very disappointed if she departed so early. Belle tells Shawn she must stay with Philip, she is carrying his baby, must honor her vows, yada, yada, we have heard it all before many times. Bonnie berates Belle to Mimi. Chelsea asks Max if he wants to go back to the beach and take up where they left off. Abby continues to question her dad, while Jennifer does the same to Frankie.
Brady announces it is time for bouquet & garter tossing. The ladies line up, with Sami giving Kate a little hassle. Sami says that since she is getting married the next day, Chloe should just give the bouquet to her. But Chloe tells her since she is all set, she should let someone else have a chance at it. Take a guess as to who catches the bouquet. Bingo, you were right. Mimi. Next, Brady gets the garter from Chloe’s leg, amid a lot of teasing from the guys….he snaps it into the air….and …..only one guess now as to who catches it. Well, with a little help from Bonnie, yep, it is Shawn. Ha. Roman gets a call from Tek, saying the car Tony was to use for his escape blew up (??) but they are combing it for evidence. Brady & Chloe thank Victor for the wonderful wedding. Bo tells Patrick to leave his daughter alone. John threatens Alex. Marlena tells them not to fight, and John wants to dance with her. Alex says NO (who does he think he is, anyway), but Marlena agrees. Marlena says O.K. and they dance. She says the song sounds familiar, and John tells her it was one of her favorites. He flashes back to them both dancing to this tune (I think it was when
they went on that 60s date some years ago….she wore her hair in a pony tail, had a poodle skirt on, etc.)
Victor tells Brady about Nicole having the love letters, but Brady says he has been perfectly honest with Chloe about his relationship with Nicole, and he is not worried at all about the letters. Nothing will break them up. Later, Caroline is going to leave, but tells Brady & Chloe she wants to quote something to them from a love letter. The lines are beautiful, and they thank her, asking where it came from. She says …Victor….then adds Hugo…..Victor Hugo. Later, Victor thanks her for remembering that quote from his letter.
Brady announced that Chloe is going to sing, and she does. I think the song is called I Am Forever Yours. Brady sings, too, one verse. Billie decides not to bother Chelsea for the rest of the evening, & leaves with Patrick. Bo kisses Hope, and they decide to leave, too. Mimi spots Shawn looking for Belle’s wrap, so goes out on the terrace, and tells Belle off. She asks her if she is so helpless now she cannot even look for her own wrap, said she told her she would have cramps at the wedding. Belle protests that she fainted, and could not help that, but Mimi says she is just saying that she called it. She calls her a slut, tells her she talks about honoring her vows to Philip, is carrying his baby, but refuses to let Shawn move on. Meanwhile, Bonnie is encouraging Shawn to help Mimi through her tough time right now, and talks about how difficult this wedding has to be for Mimi with Rex having left her. Jen pesters Frankie to tell her what is going on, and he finally agrees to tell her. Roman hears from Tek that the trunk of the car contained computers, disks, and luggage filled with disguises. Cue Sami to picture Stan, to look panic stricken, and then faint. John & Marlena are dancing, with Alex looking on in disapproval. Marlena tells John that when they were dancing to that song before, she remembered something….being in his arms. John is very moved. And the previews show…….
Abby to Jack: Tell me the truth, Daddy, I’m not a baby. Are you sick?
Mimi: Step aside. Belle: Shawn would never have been interested in you anyway
Lucas: Whatever they find in Tony’s car, I hope they bust Stan
John: I’ve got to get her out from under his control. If he tries to stop me, I’m gonna hve to kill him.

Episode # 10,183Directed by: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 8/11/05
Summary: Old and new wedding guests have miscellaneous conversations between the wedding and during the reception at Chez Rouge.
AT THE CHURCH….
In the brides room, Brady and Chloe sip champagne from their wedding flutes as they tell each other how they’re the happiest people on earth as Nicole peeps through the keyhole.
Caroline pleads with Victor not to do anything foolish or Nicole may have the last laugh on him. Nico (even the goons are wearing tuxes, LOL) finds Nicole outside after she rushed out. He pulls out his gun saying he got orders to make sure she leaves town, permanently. Nicole refuses leaving the only man she’s ever loved and asks if he was ever in love. In his monotone voice he tells her yes, a long time ago, but orders are orders. Victor joins them, saying she should have left when she had a chance. The 3 of them see Brady and Chloe step outside into the courtyard to kiss. Nicole tells Victor he was right and takes off. Nico goes to point his gun to shoot her, but Victor lowers it and tells him to just get her. Brady looks over and says…what the hell (hey, that’s Roman’s line). Guess it was nothing as Chloe suggests they should get going as they have guests waiting at the reception. He mentions skipping the reception and going right to the honeymoon. They dash off to the reception. Meanwhile Nico has caught Nicole and Victor tells him to get rid of her. Nico covers Nicole’s screaming mouth as he pulls her backwards.
Roman and Tek ponder who that mysterious female attorney was that saw Tony after he was arrested. They request the surveillance tapes.
Sami checks her cell messages, worrying if her and Lucas’ wedding will happen. Lucas overhears and questions her concern as she covers by saying she hadn’t heard from the seamstress about her gown.
John and Alex are still arguing in the church courtyard, but apparently don’t hear. Alex tells John he sounds confident Marlena will return to him, but he’d be wiser to trust him to do what’s best for Marlena and help her.
AT THE RECEPTION....
Bo and Hope arrive at the reception as he vows to keep Patrick away from his little girl. Hope tries to assure him Patrick is a good guy and to listen to her. They walk in and see Patrick talking to Chelsea (but only trying to convince her to lighten up on Billie..which he does most of the show). Patrick asks what it’ll take to convince her. She asks if he will do anything and he says within reason.
Jack and Jen smooch (first time we’ve seen them, isn’t it?) after saying they’re the only ones happier than the bride and groom as Frankie watches nearby (guess he came as their guest?) They arrive at the reception as Jack shouts to make room for his bride as Jen questions his sudden romantic streak. He attributes it to the wedding and kisses her before getting champagne for both of them while she goes to the ladies room. Frankie (at least he’s not in a tux) pulls him aside, questioning Jack’s charade and feels Jen has the right to know the truth. Jen overhears and asks what she doesn’t know and has the right to? The men stumble on an explanation and Frankie finally asks if he should leave and let her and Jack enjoy the evening together. Jen refuses to let him leave saying she and Jack have the rest of their lives together. Jack nods to Frankie to stay.
John and Alex continue their argument in the courtyard about if Alex will continue Marlena’s treatments. Alex states he can help Marlena because she doesn’t feel threatened by him, whereas John’s insistent pushing her to remember only makes things worse. Alex questions John about his feelings about Kate after learning they were engaged recently. John doesn’t admit or deny feelings for Kate, just that he loves his wife. Alex warns him Marlena might only remember being with Roman, or nothing at all. John will have to accept it if she only remembers her past with Roman.
Outside Belle speaks with Marlena privately. Belle explains to her mother how her mom and dad were the center of each other’s universes and how hard this is on her dad. Marlena figures maybe that’s the problem…she use to love him and now she doesn’t. They talk about her sleeping with Roman and Belle points out it was just that one time and just “happened”. Marlena asks if that happened just like Belle’s being pregnant by a man she doesn’t love? Ouch! She counsels her daughter that she watched her during the wedding and how she could only look at Shawn. Belle tries to protest, but can’t deny she still loves him. Marlena knows how difficult it is, reflecting she had given birth to Roman’s twins and lost another baby they were to have while being married to John. Belle gets comfort in her mother’s arms as she weeps. Later Marlena speculates she’s not the best person to counsel her having been in a similar situation, but she lost her baby. Marlena quotes Dr. North’s saying that making a bad choice is better than making no choice at all. Belle should focus on what’s best for the baby. Belle wishes her mom remembered as she really needs her. Marlena tells Belle she thinks everything will work out for the best and gives Belle her hankie and heads back inside to the reception.Mimi and Shawn arrive as she thanks him for the ride, complaining about her car. (didn’t she buy a new one with her winnings from the game show?) Lexie and Abe arrive all decked out in his tux and her beautiful red gown (Salem women sure have enough of them, don’t they?). Roman (now minus his tie) asks for a minute alone with Abe and Tek. Lexie agrees saying she had to use the ladies room anyway..but not to talk police talk the whole time. Tek said they got the surveillance tape and Roman won’t believe what they found (as Sami lurks nearby). The pictures only show the back of the attorney unfortunately and the bar association never heard of her. Sami sighs in relief and walks away. Roman figures this woman was Tony’s main accomplice.
Lexie stops by the Deveraux table and Jen slips off to the ladies room again (love how Jack asks her..again?) as she and Lexie walk away arm in arm. Frankie argues to Jack, saying this has got to stop…Jen should know the truth.
Victor announces Mr. and Mrs. Brady Black as Chloe and Brady walk in smiling and a song starts playing. They dance to it and Maggie invites everyone else to join them (Maggie looks gorgeous!...hmmm…she’s Lucas’ Aunt, wonder why she didn’t offer Chez Rouge to them instead of Sami having to go to Alice’s for the reception?) Sorry, don’t recognize the song and CC didn’t have it either. Chelsea insists that Patrick dance to it with her and he reluctantly agrees as Bo and Abby watch frustrated.
Alex arrives and tells Marlena he thinks he and John have reached an agreement. She invites him to dance and they step arm in arm onto the dance floor as John walks in, not happy but resigned to the idea apparently. Alex tells Marlena she’s a wonderful dancer and she asks “who knew”? He knew she was, explaining he knew it by how she moves.Jen invites Jack to dance and he agrees, but starts to stumble and gets back to the table. He claims it was a twisted ankle and will let Lexie look at him. He insists that Jen dance with Frankie and she knows better than to argue. Abby watches from afar too as Lexie examines Jack’s ankle as he tells her he’s in major pain and asks if he’ll live..apologizing for the bad joke at her look. She warns him this will happen more and will give him a prescription for an anti-inflammatory, suggesting he tell Jen the truth. Abby overhears and asks the truth about what. Lexie excuses herself and Jack tries to cover, blaming it on his ankle and not wanting her mom to worry. Abby questions why Jack was trying to push mom back with her old boyfriend.
Roman cuts in on Lucas and Sami (who’s also lost his tie) saying he wanted to practice for the father daughter dance (hope Craig and Nancy, the bride’s PARENTS are at the reception so he can dance with her!!)
Chelsea heads for more soda after her dance with Patrick as Bonnie and Bo question him about all the attention he’s giving Chelsea.
Nico calls Victor to tell him Nicole got away again. Victor orders him to find her and keep her away from his grandson! Brady and Chloe say how they’ll always love each other as Nicole watches from nearby, still carrying the bouquet, crying.
Shawn steps outside after Marlena goes inside to see if Belle’s okay and Belle admits never feeling worse in her life. Mimi watches from the open door. Belle tells him how her mother couldn’t comprehend being in love with one man and pregnant with another man’s baby. Belle said she knows all about that…and Shawn asks if that means she still does love him…as the camera freezes on Mimi’s face waiting for the answer….and the previews roll…
Bo to Patrick: “Now that I’ve found Chelsea, I’m going to protect her.”
Patrick: “So what’s the problem?”
Bo: “You’re the problem.”
Sami faints and Lucas and Roman are there calling her name as Kate watches nearby.
Jennifer to Frankie: I need to know what’s going on with my husband.
Frankie: I’ll tell you what’s going on with Jack..
Mimi to Belle: “You’re trying to keep Shawn from being happy and I think that’s cruel and selfish.”
John to Alex: “If you hurt her or I find that you have played with her mind, I will kill you.”
As the credits roll…

Episode # 10142Tape Date: 8/10/05
Director: Albert Alarr
Summary: The wedding is underway, with a few hitches and some of the rudest guests I have ever seen. There may as well be a revolving door at the back of the church with as many people that come and go during the ceremony, LOL. And also, some guests mysteriously vanish from the wedding (Hope, Bo, JT, Abby, Joy) and some just as mysteriously appear (Roman, Tek, Caroline, Victor).
At the church...There is a repeat of Craig leading Chloe down the aisle as we also see Bonnie come rushing in late. Brady asks Chloe if she is ready and she nods. He lifts her veil and the scars are miraculously gone as he calls her perfect and beautiful...just as he has always seen her. She turns around as everyone ooh’s and aah’s. The ceremony begins as Bonnie whispers to Mimi (who is seated on the first pew) that it won’t be long until she and Shawn are also be married. Craig goes up and sings a song ("Sweetest of Nights and Finest of Days") for them as there are flashbacks of them. During the song, Tek (who is dressed in a tux) comes in and gets Roman (seated with Caroline and Victor) and takes him outside. (Weren’t they chasing Tony just minutes ago?) Kate sees this and follows them. Marlena is having a flashback of John professing his love for her (I think his vows from their wedding). He asks her if she remembered anything as she too, jumps up and runs out of the church, with him on her heels...with Alex close behind. Chelsea notices Billie crying and asks her if it is hard to watch weddings and if she misses Bo. Billie tells her that Bo and Hope are deliriously in love and there is nothing she can do about it but move on (as she looks at Patrick). Chelsea then jumps up and rushes out...followed by Billie. (At this rate, there won’t be any guests left!)Outside...Tek is on his PDA reviewing a list of Tony’s employees. Nicole overhears from the bushes. She sees Sami going into the church (don’t know WHERE she had been...potty perhaps?) and says she is going to make Tek’s day. Kate is sneaking around trying to eavesdrop on Tek and Roman but can’t hear. Roman tells Tek to put together a list of everyone who visited Tony in jail. Kate goes back inside, praying that they catch Sami. She hears crying and goes to the bridal room to find Nicole on the floor boo-hooing and having a pity party. (LOL as Nicole grabs Kate’s legs crying). Nicole can’t believe that Brady is marrying that "human dish rag". Kate says she feels sorry for Nicole but it is over, she has lost Brady. Kate says she can, however, help her get revenge on the one that was to help her...Sami. She wants "Sami’s head on a silver platter with a golden apple shoved into her gutter mouth". Nicole admits she is tempted, but can’t risk it...she will get Brady herself. She tells Kate it is going to be something to remember as she rushes off. Kate goes back outside again as Tek tells Roman that he won’t be happy about one of the names on the list of visitors. Roman thinks he is talking about Kate and tells her that Tony is ready to talk and offers her a chance to confess. Kate doesn’t want to talk to Roman, saying he has already made up his mind about her. He goes off on her again about trying to ruin Sami’s life. But Kate tells him the truth will come out and Roman will look foolish when it does and then goes back inside. Later, Tek shows Roman a list of visitors, saying that there is one attorney on the list...does Roman recognize it? (as Sami overhears this).
Meanwhile outside...Billie follows Chelsea out to the garden and wants to talk, but Chelsea is ranting saying that Billie is rubbing it in her face. Billie tells her that she loves her and would never hurt her. Chelsea says that she abandoned her and left her for dead all because she wanted to go after Bo. She says it’s always about a man with her and now she is doing it once again. She storms off as Patrick comes out and hugs Billie as she cries on his shoulder. Later, Patrick goes to Chelsea and asks her if she wants to go to the reception with him, which brings a HUGE smile to her face.
Elsewhere outside...Marlena and John are sitting on a bench and he apologizes for upsetting her. She tells him that she remembered something (as Alex is listening) but she tells him she thinks she made it up. She explains that she was imagining marrying him and Roman, trying to picture it to help her remember. She tells him that it didn’t help and she has no desire to be with either of them. She insists that she has no feelings for him and she cannot help that. John talks about their life together and she says she realizes that, but it means nothing to her. Alex pipes up, suggesting they go back inside but Marlena wants to talk with John a bit more and then they will go in. John (sarcastically) comments that Alex is acting like her husband. She says he is sensitive and attentive, to which John says so is he. He begs her to just give him a chance to prove it and win back her love. She says not now...maybe never and then runs off, with John following and Alex watching all this. They go back into the church (the ceremony is now over) and Belle wants to talk to her.
Okay, back to the wedding...now Nancy is reciting scripture from Genesis, then we briefly see Caroline speaking as well...as Bonnie continues to hound Mimi about her and Shawn. Mimi rolls her eyes and tells her mom to go find her own man. Then Bonnie has fantasies of getting married...to Shawn, then Brady, then Craig and then John. In her fantasies, she has comments about each. Shawn is in love with Belle...Brady is too serious...with Craig, she would have to put up with Nancy., and last John whom after she kisses says that's perfect..and looking at the camera says...AND THAT'S A FACT, LOL!! She snaps back to reality and as the preacher starts the vows, Belle sways and then faints as Shawn rushes to her side, as well as Sami. And since Lexie isn’t there, the back up Salem doctor (Craig) goes into action. Belle comes to, swearing she is okay. Bonnie whispers to Mimi that Belle only wanted attention. With the ceremony briefly halted, Belle apologizes to Chloe and wants them to continue, so she takes a seat on the front pew with Craig and Nancy (I guess Joy went home, lol). During this Bonnie was trying to get Mimi to flirt with Shawn, but Mimi tells her that he only has eyes for Belle.Meanwhile...Nicole is sneaking around, trying to stop the wedding and is caught by Victor, telling her to get out of town or else. She asks what? is he going to have her killed? He tells her that he is not bluffing and then locks her in the bridal room. He then calls Nico, telling him he wants him to "take care" of his soon-to-be-ex-wife (as Caroline overhears). Later, Nicole hears someone unlocking the door and grabs a vase and hides behind the door. Caroline comes in and she whacks her over the head (ouch). Nicole finally gets her to come to and (LOL) as Caroline (lying on the floor) says she has never seen the bridal room from THIS angle. She is okay (says just a headache) as Nicole apologizes. Caroline tells her that she was trying to help her escape. Nicole says she isn’t going anywhere without Brady and rushes out. Caroline says that girl isn’t playing with a full deck. Victor finds Caroline and she pleads with him not to hurt Nicole, saying she doesn’t want to see him end up in jail.
The ceremony continues...with Brady and Chloe reciting their teary-eyed vows to each other. And there are lots of tears and smiles in the congregation as the camera pans around. They then exchange rings and are pronounced man and wife to thunderous applause as they kiss. Shawn and Mimi head to the reception as Bonnie smiles. A few minutes later, Brady and Chloe are dancing and kissing in the bridal room, so happy. Nicole is watching them through the keyhole, saying it’s not over..it can’t be...as the previews show...
Frankie (to Jack): She needs to be told what is going on...she has a right to know. (Jen): Right to know what?...
Bonnie (to Patrick): Why are you acting so interested in Chelsea Benson? (Bo): That’s what I’d like to know...
Alex (to John): Can you put aside your fear and mistrust and do what is right for your wife?...
Marlena (to Belle): Darling, I can’t even imagine how difficult this is for you...being pregnant with the wrong man’s child. (Belle): What am I going to do?...
And the credits roll...

Episode: 10041
Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 8/9/05
Lots of discussions before the wedding and we see the wedding party down the aisle while at the Salem PD, Tony makes a break for it.
CHLOE tells Nancy that she refuses to marry Brady if she still has the scar. She and Nancy anxiously await the doctor to remove the bandage. Later Nancy waits with Mimi and Belle outside the room while the doctor removes the bandage. Later Nancy tries to see Chloe. The door is locked and Chloe had told the doctor she wants to tell Nancy about the results herself. Nancy tries to convince her daughter that Brady loves her and doesn’t care what she looks like. Chloe, crying, opens the door (the bandage is back on) and says she knows what she has to do.
AT THE SALEM PD
Abe thanks Roman for letting him in on this operation. Roman’s convinced they’ll get Tony’s henchmen. Tek says there’s a problem. Tony lies on his cot when a guard brings his food. He’s not interested until he hears Bart’s voice and the food being served..a “key” sandwich. Tony confirms there is a Plan B. Tony tells Bart he’s on to the cops that they think they’re in control. Roman’s computer surveillance has a secret camera watching Tony’s cell. He spots Bart dressed as a guard with Tony. Bart holds a gadget up that stops the signal. Roman says they won’t get away with it (but doesn’t order guards to catch Bart.
AT THE CHURCH….The wedding guests gather outside the church. After a loving kiss, Bo tells Hope that there’s some rule against a guest being more beautiful than the bride. Chelsea tells Billie how nice she thought it was of Grandma Kate to buy her this expensive new dress to wear and Billie gushes it’s Kate’s way to make her feel like a member of the family. Patrick joins them and seconds later Bo walks up asking what he’s doing there. Billie says he’s her date. Chelsea rants to Abby that Patrick is her man and she’s gonna get him. Being Billie and Bo’s daughter is opening up doors she’d never imagined having, like a room at Victor’s mansion. With all that she’s bound to get Patrick. Billie and Patrick are on to Chelsea’s determination to have him and he decides to show Chelsea he’s interested in someone else, pulling her into his arms. Bo and Hope walk by and see this. Bo gets bent out of shape about them doing it there at the church (hello, you did the same thing at the beginning of the show)…and Hope calmly points out that what Patrick and Billie do inside or outside the church, or anywhere, is none of his concern. Being protective is one thing, jealous another. Later he says he’s not jealous, but she is the mother of his daughter. He tells Hope that she (and his daughter) are the only women in his life. He figures Chelsea is a pretty good kid under that attitude she’s got. Hope smiles saying if she’s his daughter, she’s hers too. Abby asks Chelsea to be prepared as Patrick might be her stepfather. Billie’s having fun watching Bo’s reaction to her and Patrick.
Belle walks out of the church’s dressing room in her beautiful blue sleeveless gown and looks about 6 months pregnant now. Shawn tells her how beautiful she looks and asks if she’s okay now. Mimi mentions she hadn’t been there since Belle’s wedding, verbal cold water on the scene.
Sami and Lucas arrive, wishing it were their own wedding. He steps away to see Brady and Nicole pops in, wearing white and carrying a bridal bouquet. She informs Sami she’s going to help her stop the wedding or she’ll expose her as Stan. Sami softly states the evidence she was Stan will be destroyed by the time people check it out and Nicole asks if she’s still working for Tony Dimera. Will walks in saying “Mom?” as Sami looks like a deer in the headlights. Will’s only surprised she’s with Nicole and she rushes him into the church as Nicole vows to herself that she’s taking Sami down.
Marlena feels exceptionally uncomfortable there amongst strangers and wants to leave. Alex tries to calm her, saying she can do it as John and Kate walk up. John says she has to be there for their son’s wedding and she answers that her name is Marlena, not Doc (LOL!) (even the guests wear tuxes to the wedding!) Alex finally convinces her to stay and John mentions he will be sitting next to her, not in the wedding, and all will be okay. Marlena points out she’s safe as long as Alex is with her and walks off with Alex. Kate suggests that John separate Alex from Marlena. Kate rushes over to tell Lucas how handsome he looks (hope his tux stays clean). He thanks her, but states she’s not invited to his and Sami’s wedding the next day.
John asks Alex for a private word with him. He tells Alex he wants him gone. Alex tells John that’s Marlena’s decision, not his. Until she tells him to leave, he’s staying.
While John’s with Alex, Sami calls out to “mom”, but Marlena doesn’t respond. She finally stands in front of her and Marlena catches on. Sami reminds her that her wedding is the next day and asks if Marlena and Roman could both walk her down the aisle. Marlena says she can’t do that. Sami won’t let up and gets irritated that Marlena won’t do it. Alex spots what’s going on and interrupts as Marlena asks to be taken away. Sami rants to John that it’s HIS fault as not only does her mom have amnesia, she’s a zombie after being in the woods with that doctor feelgood. Lucas stops by and says this isn’t helping. John walks off and Lucas asks Sami to be good as the wedding’s about to start and he has to usher people.
Nicole catches Kate and makes her an offer to destroy Sami if she helps stop the wedding today. Victor walks up and demands Nicole leave and not try anything. Kate pipes up that she was saying the same thing as Nicole storms away.
Outside Lucas and Shawn watch the limo (we don’t see it) pull up with hopefully Chloe and Nancy in it. Craig joins them (high 5 Craig, great to see ya!!) He tells them the limo was empty. Lucas is worried that Chloe bailed on Brady, who steps up saying No!
Craig assures Brady that Chloe’s there and in the bride’s room. She came with Nancy in her own car. Nancy just sent the limo as a decoy for the press who are lurking for a picture of Chloe. Nancy joins them and asks about Joy. Craig says she’s the cutest flower girl ever and with Maggie and Mickey right now (oh good, hope we get to finally see her!!) Nancy’s worried expression alerts Craig. She asks him to make sure Joy stays clean and not mess up her hair as she spent all morning on it. She steps in the bride’s room and finds Chloe in her dress and veil. She asks about her scars and Chloe stands up, pulling her veil back. She tells Nancy to see for herself. Nancy stares and says “oh my God”.
Sami lights a camera, praying everything works out and she’ll be able to marry Lucas the next day.
Alex steps away to get Marlena a drink (at the church?) and Belle walks up. Although Marlena doesn’t recognize Belle either, she’s much softer and cordial to her. She asks about the baby as Belle rubs her BIG belly. Belle reminds her about being a flower girl at her and John’s wedding, which catches Marlena off guard. Belle said it was a long story, but remembers how she made Marlena practice with her over and over to get it perfect.
Belle calls Philip on her cell and wishes he were there. She remembers their own wedding and misses him. Shawn walks up and overhears.Outside Nicole tries to decide what to do.
Victor tells Brady at the altar how proud of him he is and although he had doubts about Chloe before, knows they’re perfect for each other. Isabella would adore her too and he wishes she were here to see this. Brady says she is.
The best scenes of the show follow (in the second half of the show). Nancy rushes up to Craig and says Chloe is coming and to keep his fingers crossed. Lucas walks her to the front pew as Nancy’s face bursts in smiles. The wedding starts. First down the aisle is ring bearer Zack. Cute how Bo is taking digital pictures of him like a real dad. Shawn takes the rings and sends him to sit with Bo and Hope. Next is flower girl Joy. Craig and Nancy gush as do the others. Hope comments how Joy’s grown up so fast (no kidding!) and Bo says time goes by so fast as he looks back at his own daughter. Joy’s adorable, long brown hair and about 4 years old, wearing a long sleeveless lavender dress. Brady helps his future sister in law up the step and smiling suggests she throw some rose pedals where they’ll be standing. She does so, then Nancy comes up and takes her to sit with her (aw, let her be up there with the wedding party). Mimi walks down next and trips when Patrick takes a flash picture of her from his seat, LOL. She gets to her position as smiles are all around. Lucas and Sami mouth “I love you” to each other. Belle walks down next and everyone ooh’s and aw’s. Marlena sits between John on the aisle and Alex as John asks if it brings back any memories of their own wedding (don’t push her John!). Mimi rolls her eyes and glances off to the side as Shawn takes Belle’s hand to help her up on the platform. He touches his ring finger thinking of how this would be their own wedding. Back to reality, he glances over and she’s watching, knowing where his mind was.
The wedding march begins and Brady takes a deep breath as Nancy prays for God to give Chloe the strength. Chloe walks out in a long veil and full ruffled gown. Craig said she’s the most beautiful bride he’s ever seen. He extends his arm as she hesitates. Outside Nicole watches through the window hoping Chloe backs out and so hideous looking that Brady won’t marry her.
BACK AT THE SALEM PD…We see Bart and crew help Tony up through the sewer drain. Bart says he may be smelly, but he’s free. Roman, Tek and the Swat team come out with guns pointed, telling them to freeze. Tony points out that Commander Brady is smarter than him as Bart throws a smoke bomb (?) as they run for it. Guns start shooting. They only shot one of Tony’s goons, but did capture Tony. Bart got away, that slippery eel. A uniform helps Abe around the corner, now with white cane and sunglasses. Tony tells Roman congratulations, he destroyed the life of someone he loves so dearly (meaning Sami).
BACK AT THE CHURCH
Chloe finally takes Craig’s arm and he walks her down the aisle and takes his seat next to Nancy. Brady lifts her veil (isn’t that suppose to happen when he’s told to kiss the bride?) and surprised (we don’t see it) as the camera freezes on him and previews roll…
Outside the church…John to Marlena: I was just hoping that you’d remember something.
Marlena: I did (as we see Alex’s face)
We hear the priest saying “do you…” when Belle passes out and Shawn rushes to her side.
Chelsea tells Billie: first it was Bo. It’s always about a man. And now you’re doing it all over again.
Nicole looks up at Kate and asks what she wants.
Kate’s reply: “Sami’s head on a silver platter.”
As the credits roll..

Episode # 10140Tape Date: 8/9/05
Director: Phil Sogard
Summary: Mimi, Belle and Nancy help Chloe prepare for the wedding...Roman thinks they can nab Tony as well as Stan, but Abe thinks something is fishy...Alex continues to work on Marlena, as John and Kate both suspect there is something else going on.
AT SAMI’S APARTMENT...she is trying to get Will up and dressed as Lucas searches for the perfect photo to use in the paper for the wedding announcement on his laptop. He asks her about this one, as a photo of Stan pops up. Oops, wrong one...as he shows her another one. She changes the subject and needles him about where they are going on their honeymoon. Will goes online to check the RSVP’s as Sami asks Lucas if he thinks that Kate will show up. Sami answers to phone to find Bart who begins to harrass her about Tony’s escape as she hurries Will and Lucas out the door to get dressed for the wedding. After they are gone, Bart tells her that Tony will be escaping during the wedding and if anything goes wrong, she will pay. She demands the evidence and he says she will get it once Tony is free. Later, Will and Lucas return ready to go. Sami is dressed as well (Ali looks great) as she hugs Lucas, wishing it were them marrying today. Lucas assures her that nothing will ruin their wedding.
AT THE COP SHOP...Roman and Abe are discussing the trap they have set for Tony...and all his goons, including Bart and Stan in the process. Meanwhile, Bart (dressed as a delivery guy) delivers a package for Roman. Tek takes it in to them as Bart is in the hallway listening (the package is bugged). Roman realizes this and has Tek take the box away, telling him to track the source. Roman tells Abe that he has an errand to run and tells him he is in charge. After Roman leaves, another cop comes in with a folder and Tek takes it, telling Abe that it is a lead on Stan. Abe asks him about it and Tek explains that another inmate overheard Tony telling someone that he will be free soon, he has a secret weapon, Stan. Tek says it is confirmation that Stan is helping Tony and now they can nail both of them. Later, Roman returns (he went to the penthouse...see below) and he is sure that this is their chance to nail Stan. But Abe isn’t so sure. He doesn’t think that Tony would be that careless and it doesn’t sound like something Tony DiMera would say. He says that nailing Stan won’t be that easy. Tek is sure that they will get him, but Abe isn’t convinced. Abe says that they have to assume that Tony knows this is a setup...and they can never underestimate him.
AT THE PENTHOUSE...Brady comes downstairs (clad in a towel) to find Marlena. They talk about his wedding and he says he is thrilled that she and John are back together...just as Alex comes downstairs. Marlena says she is glad he spent the night with her...as Brady does a double-take. John and Kate are in the hallway. Apparently he called her to come over and help him find out more about Dr. North. They come in and Brady asks John what is going on. John explains that Marlena wouldn’t come home unless he came too and that Marlena slept in the master room, Alex in the guest room and he (John) in the den. John had gone out for breakfast but Marlena informs him that she baked muffins. LOL as John asks "since when do you bake?" Marlena and Alex are talking and laughing as Brady asks what’s going on. John starts talking about Brady’s big day so he goes upstairs to get ready. Kate tells John that Marlena and Alex seem to be close and John tells her about their kissing. Kate thinks that their behavior is strange.Roman shows up to check on Marlena and asks why Kate is there. John says she is there as a friend. Roman says he wants to help Marlena, but they let him know that they don’t want/need his help. Roman informs everyone that he and Kate are divorcing. Marlena pipes up and says she feels it was inevitable, after all, SHE was pregnant with Roman’s child. Then she stuns everyone and says that perhaps she and John should get a divorce as well. Alex tells her not to be so hasty. Roman reminds her that tomorrow is Sami’s wedding as John says today is Brady’s. Marlena goes upstairs to get ready as Roman talks to John. He reminds him that Marlena’s going away with Alex was a bad mistake. John (who doesn’t want to hear ‘I told you so’) tells him he agrees, but it is too late now and it is something they have to deal with. Roman tells John that if he can’t bring Marlena back...HE will and then leaves. Meanwhile Alex tells Kate he can see that she is torn between John and Roman (and he knows they were engaged) and she is offended, telling him that she and John thought Roman and Marlena were dead at the time. She tells him that her marriage to Roman is over and he asks her if she is considering going after John. Brady comes back downstairs and John tells him that he knows he promised to be his best man, but feels that he needs to be by Marlena’s side. Brady understands and has someone else to call. He calls Belle (who is at Chloe’s) and asks her if it is okay if he asks Shawn. She says she is okay with it and puts Shawn on the phone (he is there too). Shawn agrees to stand in and asks Belle if she is sure she is okay with it, she says she is.
Kate tells Alex that John loves Marlena and no one can come between them. Alex says he is only considering Marlena’s welfare. Kate thinks there is more going on as Alex excuses himself to get ready. After he is gone, John and Kate talk and she says that Alex is very good...and she believes he does have an agenda. They wonder just how close he and Marlena have gotten and John asks Kate to help him keep an eye on Dr. North. They hug as Alex sees them. Later, Alex apologizes to Kate for offending her earlier, saying he just wanted to point out that Marlena may not choose either John or Roman, thus making them both available for her. He says he has no personal stake in all this, but can see that Kate does...but she needs to decide what and who she wants. Marlena comes down dressed in a blue dress as Alex and John both offer to drive her...she chooses Alex. As they leave, Alex suggests that John take Kate to the wedding...as John thinks he is taking advantage of her. John turns and asks Brady if he is ready. Brady says he just hope that Chloe hasn’t gotten cold feet.
AT THE LOFT...Belle is asleep, dreaming of Shawn and wakes up. Meanwhile, Shawn is also asleep (on her sofa) dreaming of her. She wakes him up and thanks him for staying. Mimi comes over and asks what is going on there. They claim innocence and as Shawn goes to return a call, Mimi gives Belle a hard time about him spending the night. Lexie calls to check on her and then Shawn returns, telling Mimi that Belle doesn’t need the stress today. Mimi says that maybe Belle shouldn’t go to the wedding...she may ruin Chloe’s and Brady’s big day, but she informs her that she is the Matron of Honor. Shawn fixes breakfast as Belle insists she is going to the wedding. Shawn goes to take a shower as Mimi tells Belle not to cause a scene. Belle goes to get ready as Mimi is sure that Belle can’t get over Shawn.
AT CHLOE’S...she frets about her scar and takes off the bandage as Nancy comes in and gasps. Chloe then wakes up (yes, it’s a dream) as Nancy is there and Chloe IS worrying about her scar. Nancy tries to assure her that Brady loves her and gives her a gift that Brady sent. It’s a diamond bracelet as Chloe puts it on and admires it. She says now all she needs is something old, borrowed and blue. Brady calls to check on her and asks if she is ready to get married. She says she can’t...but then corrects herself and says she can’t wait to marry him. After she gets off the phone, she looks in the mirror and tells Nancy he loves her so much...she can’t go through with this if she looks like a monster (get over it already).Belle, Mimi and Shawn arrive to help her get ready and notice she is upset. She tells them all that her face is burning as Nancy tries to convince her that means it is healing. She wants to remove the bandage. Nancy has her show them the bracelet (for her something new). Nancy has something old, a locket she bought when Chloe was born. Mimi has the blue (LOL, from Bonnie, a fortune cookie from Brady’s bachelor party). No really, she has blue sapphire earrings that Bonnie gave her. Chloe tells her she shouldn’t have, but Mimi says that her mom probably stole them from Maggie Horton. Belle has the borrowed...her gold cross (Chloe notes that Brady has one just like it). It is during this time that Brady calls Shawn. The girls start getting ready as Shawn leaves to get ready himself. Nancy asks Chloe if she is ready to put on her wedding dress and Chloe says no...she doesn’t think she can go through with the wedding...as the previews show...
Hope (to Bo): What Patrick and Billie do...in church...out of church...it’s none of your business Bo...
Nicole (to Sami): You’re still working for Tony DiMera aren’t you? (as Will walks up and says MOM?)...
Nancy: Are your scars healed? Chloe lifts her veil as Nancy says "Oh my God..."
John (to Marlena): Being here is triggering something isn’t it? (as she grasps Alex’s hand)...
and the credits roll...

Episode #10,139
Tape date – 8/4/05
Director – Phil Sogard
John convinces Marlena to return to Salem, Belle has a scare, Chloe has ANOTHER pity party, while Sami nearly bares all.
CHLOE PACES THE FLOOR, impatiently waiting for Nancy to arrive, and wondering what is taking her so long. She opens the door to check outside, only to find Brady dozing on the porch. She wakes him up, & he explains that he was half way home, when he turned around and came back, not wanting her to be alone, and thought he’d wait til Nancy arrived. Chloe realizes the real reason he returned was because he was afraid she would run off, and she admits that the thought was in her mind. She cries, as he once more reassures her, yada, yada. (yawnnnn, same script, different day). His phone rings, and he takes it inside, which leaves an opening for Nancy to arrive. (Patrika, you look absolutely gorgeous!) She explains that Joy is so excited about being in the wedding party, that she & Craig had a hard time getting her to sleep, so sorry she was late. They have a nice mother-daughter talk, when Brady comes out wearing a blindfold, citing something about not seeing the bride before the wedding. Both Nancy & Chloe assure him that the tradition means while the bride is in her wedding dress, and also just before the wedding.
UP IN THE MOUNTAIN CABIN, John tries to talk Marlena into returning home for the sake of her children, not him. Alex protests her leaving, John insists. John & Alex argue. He talks of the upcoming wedding, and how much her daughter loves her and needs her there, but Marlena doesn’t know her daughter, doesn’t remember her, and callously says she can see the pictures later. John then talks of Belle having a baby, and needing her mother. This seems to strike a chord in Marlena, who now seems receptive to the idea. Alex now looks a bit disconcerted. (Oh, we all do not trust ol Alex, now, do we? LOL) Marlena asks him his opinion, John objects, but Marlena is determined. Alex says o.k. , but only if he accompanies her back to Salem, and continues to treat her. John announces that would be over his cold, dead body. (what? As opposed to his warm, dead body?) Marlena gets angry, and now she argues with John about Dr. North, telling him she needs Dr. North, and wants to make something clear to John. She will only return to Salem for the sake of the children. She doesn’t know them, doesn’t remember them, but will be there for them, and for no other reason. John replies that he will just have to accept that.
IN THE LOFT, Shawn is helping Belle, telling Mimi to see if she can catch Phil. He is about to call Dr. Bader, but Belle says she is on vacation (oh, how convenient for Days, huh) and of course, Shawn then calls the doctor who is a specialist in every field imaginable (even though she was originally a pediatrician, lol) – yes, Lexie. Mimi returns, unable to have caught Phil before he left, soon followed by the arrival of Lexie. (is the hospital across the street?). Lexie tells the moaning Belle to B R E A T H E…(the cure-all for all pregnant women in distress – only surpassed by the ever present cup of healing Salem tea)….says things seem fine, the baby’s heartbeat is strong, but she wants to check her cervix, to see if she is dilated at all. Shawn & Mimi go out in the hall, while Lexie examines Belle. (and believe it or not, ladies, yep, sheet over the knees which are up, looking almost like the real thing..) Lexie pronounces all o.k., asking her what she was doing before the pains began. Belle says nothing, that Phil had just left. Lexie asks if she had been sexually active, Belle says yes, just before Phil left, and could that cause a problem. Lexie says rarely…(then why did she ask?) then tells Belle it seems the pains were probably stress related. Cue flashback to Belle arguing with Shawn about him almost sleeping with Mimi. Lexie tells Belle to take it easy and leaves.
Out in the hall, she assures Shawn & Mimi everything o.k. – that it was probably stress. Shawn walks Lexie out to her car, while Mimi goes to check on Belle, who is happy she is there. But tho Mimi is happy the baby is o.k., she warns Belle about the pain, the baby, the drama all being an effort to reel Shawn back in, and it had better stop now. They argue some, then Shawn returns, asking if he can get her anything. She asks him for some extra pillows from her bed upstairs, and he goes to get them, causing Mimi to light into Belle once again, for her machinations.
IN THE HALL OUTSIDE SAMI’S APT, Lucas & Sami are kissing up a storm, and she gives him the keys, reminding him she promised him a striptease. They enter the darkened apt. as Sami begins to perform for Lucas. And then every parent’s nightmare comes true, as Will, with friend, Arthur, appear at the open door, with Will spouting a shocked “MOM!”. A thoroughly embarrassed Sami runs into the bedroom, while Lucas asks what he is doing there, he was supposed to be spending the night at Arthur’s. The boys claim they came for some DVD’s, they have them now, with Arthur commenting that Will’s mom is better than Hillary Duff. LOLOL. Lucas shags the boys off.
Meanwhile, Sami is brushing her hair, talking to herself she is glad she was not completely naked. As she begins to take off her dress, she screams…..and there is stalker Bart looking in her window. (Jeez, now the fire escape is outside her bedroom window – Salem has some very odd shaped buildings, snickering here). Lucas & the boys come rushing in (thought the boys were gone….jeez) and Sami covers, saying she saw a mouse. The boys leave once more, Sami & Lucas begin to kiss, but she spots voyeur Bart again peering in the window, and pushes Lucas away, saying she is still embarrassed, and not sure if boys are really gone. She gets rid of Lucas (who goes to check), locks her door, then climbs out on firescape (she is now in a robe.) to confront Bart. They now have the same conversation they had outside Alice’s….again, same script, different day. She says she got the info from her dad’s computer, wants all the Stan costuming stuff back. He threatens her, saying no way until the Count escapes, and if he doesn’t, the whole world will know she was Stan, yada, yada. Lucas returns, wondering why the locked door, knocking. Sami chases Bart away, climbs back in the window, shuts it, closes the drapes, and ditches the robe. She opens the door, and Lucas definitely did not mind the wait, as Sami is in a black lace teddy. They begin to kiss, and fall onto the bed.
And the previews show…..
John to Kate: I want you to help me find out what her shrink is really up to.
Marlena to Alex, as a shocked Brady looks on: I’m so glad you spent the night with me last night.
Mimi to Shawn, as Belle arrives in the background: Leave it to Belle to ruin her good friend’s big day.
Brady on phone to Chloe: So are you ready for your dream wedding?Chloe: I can’t Brady: So what’re you saying? You want to call off the wedding?
And the credits roll.

Episode #10138Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape date: 8/4/05
While the parties continue with little discussions everywhere, the loft residents return home, John surprises Marlena and Alex, Chelsea plans to make her new family pay for what happened to her.
AT THE LOFT…
Belle and Philip return home to the loft, excited about his call from the VA Hospital that his new permanent prosthesis is ready. He’s going to go get it solo and insists Belle stay in town for her brother’s wedding. Later we join them as Belle is wrapped up in the blanket and Philip only wearing his pants. They kid about Baby K’s name and she shows him a list of 6 names that she narrowed her research into finding. If it’s a boy: Conner, Tyler or Luke. If it’s a girl, Claire, Margaret or Hillary. (Have you voted for YOUR choice yet? Link to poll site is in left hand column.) Philip rushes up to shower as Belle notices they forgot to shut their door all the way and hopes no one saw them making love (that’s typical in Salem…perhaps you should get an automatic door closer on it?) She sees Shawn and Mimi returning to their apartment, chatting about her car problem. Shawn offers to check it out for her and Mimi’s appreciative hug in return. Mimi is glad Bonnie got him to bartend as seeing his face there helps. She keeps expecting to see Rex’s face there. She asks how he’s doing about Belle and he (finally) admits that he knows Belle has moved on and he has to as well. We see Belle’s crestfallen face on the other side of the door as Philip walks in (fast shower and change, that military training obviously works!) dressed and ready to go. She tells him about the door being open, but Philip isn’t worried, they would just see a couple in love making love. Shawn and Mimi both realize they forgot their key. They knock on Philip and Belle’s door for the spare key and Belle goes to get it. Later they thank them for the key and Shawn’s happy to hear about Philip’s new leg. They no sooner shut the door when the car Philip ordered gets there…well..the buzzer buzzes. He takes his bag and asks her to go up to bed and leaves. Belle shuts the door and gets an intense pain and groans loudly. Shawn was just leaving, not interested in Mimi’s vampire movie (I’m with you bud!) and hears Belle. He rushes over and she tells him it’s the baby.
AT THE PARTIES....Chelsea moans about Billie being her mother and the only thing standing in her way of getting Patrick as Abby tries to convince her otherwise. She tells her Max is closer to her age, obviously cares for her and is hot. Chelsea plans to make her new family paylike the lottery for all the problems she’s had.
Chloe thanks the ladies for their shower presents. Kate takes the opportunity to bash Sami when they comment she has one more present to open, saying she took off with that male stripper.

Outside, Bart warns Sami that she’ll be exposed as Stan if Tony isn’t released and her marriage to Lucas will be “bye bye”. Bart threatens her until Sami finally said she gave him what he wanted, now it’s his turn. The two argue about her lack of conscience (that Bart said she doesn’t have when Sami rants it’ll be on hers if Tony causes more bedlam after getting out). She tells him to leave as with that body, he’s lucky people aren’t suspicious he’s impersonating a stripper already (double ouch). He defends himself, saying he’s been working out (LOL). He sees Bonnie coming out and puts his mask on again. Bonnie asks what’s going on with Sami and the Lone Ranger. Sami said she was asking him to do another number, but Bart refuses and Sami goes inside. Bonnie comes on to Bart and he tells Bonnie that Sami was just the trailer, but she’s the main feature as they kiss (now that's a pair!).
Sami warns Chelsea that her new Grandmother is a lying bitch and to be careful. Billie gasps and Kate offers Chelsea Sami’s old job at Basic Black in return. Chelsea thanks her, not believing her good fortune (isn’t she still in high school?). Sami walks away, wishing her good luck with that psycho
Brady is another room at Alice's (my, that place is bigger than I thought) trying to call John, concerned he’s not answering. The lights go out, the disco balls lights up and starts rotating as he worriedly asks who’s there. Chloe walks up smiling and he reminds her that tomorrow they’ll be married, as music starts playing (Edwin McCain's "I could not ask for More") as they start dancing. He picks her up and twirls her, then carries her out.
Roman and Bo quietly smirk about their false info on Roman’s computer, hoping to catch the rest of Tony’s gang (especially that bastard Stan) when they try to break him out.
Brady thanks Lucas for his wise advice and said he was right all along about Nicole. Victor joins them and agrees Chloe and Brady’s love is the real deal and nothing will come between them again. Victor toasts Brady and Lucas, saying they’ve been more like sons to him than grandson and step son. He tells Brady words can’t say how proud he is of him and wishes him and Chloe all the happiness in the world. He gives an envelope to Brady, saying it’ll help them on their way. Brady tries to refuse, but Victor waves it off as he starts to toast Lucas. He says how he, Shawn and Rex risked their lives, which took guts, to save his son Philip. Especially Lucas with a young son of his own. They’ve come a long way. When it comes to Sami..we see hackles raising as Bo, Roman and Lucas stand to object what’s coming next, LOL…Victor clarifies that love changes people and he hopes that’s the case for Sami and wishes Lucas and Sami a happy life together, wishing that they admitted their love a long time ago (I'm with you on that Vic!). He gives Lucas an envelope too and hugs him, hoping this time their wedding happens. Lucas thanks him and says how much Sami has changed.
Billie asks Kate to be happy for Lucas and for her finding her daughter. Chelsea joins them and Kate loves it when Chelsea says she knows Sami is her cousin, but honestly doesn’t like Sami all that much. Chelsea admires Kate’s necklace and recognizes it as a Charles Winston. She compliments Kate’s sense of style, wishing she had it too. Kate returns the compliment saying she does (yup, two of kind Granny and Chelsea are), and asks her to call her Kate being she’s her Grandmother. Kate asks for a private chat as Mama Billie smiles.
Lucas startles Sami after she returns inside, asking if she’s having fun. She picks on him asking about his rowdy bachelor party. He says Francesca did strip for them as she offers to entertain him later. Chloe interrupts, looking for Brady (before she found Brady above). Sami and Lucas dance and he softly expresses his love for her as they kiss and dance. Kate watches nearby as Sami sees her. Kate leaves and walks outside, where Roman is waiting. He says he did love her, but betraying him by breaking her promise about Sami …their marriage is over. Victor walks up and asks if there’s a problem there. Roman steps away, telling Victor there isn’t and she’s all his. Victor takes Kate in his arms for a hug (sucker!) She asks for his help. Victor asks if she’s imagining something, but she knows Tony is holding something over Sami’s head.
Chelsea returns to Abby, saying she’s got better than the lottery with Grandma Kate, it’s more like the tri state megaball. They’ll pay for Billie and Bo abandoning her. Abby tries to tell her they didn’t and it wasn’t their fault, but the DiMeras. Chelsea warns her to stop being naïve, her own parents have problems, as do Hope and Bo (whom are hugging and dancing nearby). She knows Frankie wants Jack out of the way to have Jen to himself. Chelsea goes to Bo and apologizes to him and he tells her he hopes to see her soon. She apologizes again and hugs him as Billie watches in tears behind them and Hope just behind Billie.
Outside Lucas tells Sami he’ll see her at home. Roman rushes out while talking on the phone, telling Sami it’s work. She figures Tony’s busting out.
AT THE COTTAGE
Later Brady returns Chloe to their cottage..at the front door he says it’s bad luck for him to see her after midnight and he’ll see her at the wedding. She wants him to stay, but he assures her all will be okay. He’s going to stay with John at the Penthouse that night and she can call him there if she needs to. Alone she prays to God that there be a miracle and to let tomorrow be perfect so that she and Brady can have the wedding they’ve dream of. We hear a tinkling sound and a light from outside reflects on her face.
AT THE CABINAlex hypnotizes Marlena, taking her back to a time long, long ago (expected to hear Star Wars theme music, LOL). He asks her to remember the man she loved then and still loves today. She remembers kissing him, saying it was him, and he leans over and gives her a kiss while her eyes are closed. She kisses him back. John walks in (guess not locking doors isn't just a Salem thing) and catches this, asking what the hell is going on here. Marlena stops him from touching Alex, warning him if he does, he’ll lose her forever! She tells John he shouldn’t be there and goes upstairs. John demands Alex explain and Alex does so. He explains they were having a therapy session and Marlena was remembering kissing the man she loved. John finds it hard to believe she was kissing Alex while thinking she was kissing him…but Alex clarifies there’s no telling who Marlena thought she was kissing, it might not have been John. (ouch)
Upstairs Marlena looks at herself in the mirror, asking what she was thinking as Alex kisses her neck, saying it’s okay doc, she wanted him as much as he wanted her. Oops..she was just fantasizing that part.
Marlena returns downstairs and John tells her that he did some more research before flying up there. Dr. North is a fraud and not who he says he is. John says he talked to a Dr. Estrada in California (a close friend and mentor of hers before she moved to Salem). She inspired Marlena to go into psychology and told John that Dr. North has an unorthodox, high risk practice and amnesia patients usually return in a former familiar environment. Alex asks Marlena to excuse them and she thanks him. He asks John if he has any idea about what he is doing, reversing any progress they’ve made. John tells him his little experiment is over and tells Marlena to pack her bags, he’s taking her home. She doesn’t want to go back to Salem. He tells her about Brady’s and Sami’s weddings and should be there. He asks her to trust him, he’s her husband. She looks at Dr. North and tries to decide. She tells him no, I’m not going back with you.
AS THE PREVIEWS ROLL....
Chloe to Brady (who's back at the cottage): "That’s not the real reason you came back, is it?"
Brady: "No"
Lucas to Sami: "We just got all hot and bothered, now you’re pushing me away? Why?"
Alex to Marlena: I think you should go back to Salem, but only if I am there and able to monitor your progress.
John’s response…"over my cold dead body"…
Belle to Shawn and Mimi: "Please tell me I’m not going to lose this baby".
As the credits roll..

AT THE BRADY HOUSE...Bo and Hope talk about Chelsea’s reaction to the news. Bo tells her that Chelsea said terrible things about Billie and Hope says that most of them were probably true (GO HOPE!) Bo asks her to give Billie a break and she says she will try and be supportive but still can’t get over the things she did...such as taking advantage of him in that pit. She says that he is blind to her tricks and she fears that Billie will end up using Chelsea to get closer to him. (Has Hope got her pegged or what?) Bo says that they will have to find a way to deal with the situation. Hope is worried but Bo tells her to put the put the focus on Chelsea. Hope says that he has a beautiful and smart daughter...AND she knows how to manipulate people. Bo thinks she is being hard on her, she has been through a lot. Hope tells him that Jennifer agrees with her and sees Chelsea as a troubled girl as well and that they are just being objective. But Bo thinks that they feel that way because she is Billie’s daughter and that Hope just can’t get past that. Hope agrees that she is not thrilled about that but she will accept it...but Chelsea does have problems. She says she knows he feels guilty for not being there for her all those years, but he cannot just look the other way. Bo tries to assure her that everything will work out for the better as they hug.
ALICE’S BAR...is closed for a private party...Chloe & Sami’s bridal shower. Brady and Chloe arrive as he practically forces her to go in. She is greeted by Belle, who encourages her. Shawn is there bar tending as Mimi is waitressing. Sami is upset and whines to Caroline about having to share her party with Chloe. Caroline tells her to not be in such a sour mood to which Sami says it is just nerves. Abby and Chelsea arrive as Abby asks her how she is handling the news she got earlier and if she is beginning to accept it. Chelsea replies HELL NO...she isn’t thrilled about having Billie or Kate as family. Right on cue, Kate and Billie arrive. Kate encourages Billie to be patient with Chelsea and not push her. She tells her to rely on Bo and starts on that tired old song again as Billie shakes her head no. Chelsea continues to bash them to Abby as Billie explains to Kate that it is about Chelsea...NOT her. Bonnie talks up Mimi to Shawn as she bashes Belle to him. Shawn explains that he and Meems are just friends, but Bonnie continues to push them together. She talks about how passionate she is and says she gets it from her (LOL). Caroline assures Sami that she WILL make it to the altar this time and talks about how she and Lucas are in love and have a relationship rooted in trust, as Sami sighs. Kate comes over as she and Sami exchange insults (WHY is Kate even there?) then she flounces off. Sami wants to go after her but her grandmother stops her. Kate then flits to the bar and insults Shawn (saying it looks like he is putting his college education to good use). She tells him to stop watching Belle...she is married to HER son now and strolls off. Bonnie overhears this and tells Shawn "no matter how you dress it up...trash is trash". Bonnie tells him to quit torturing himself and sends him to the bachelor party and he leaves. Mimi walks up while Bonnie is on the phone asking WHERE they are? Kate goes over to Chelsea & Abby’s table (LOL as Chelsea calls her "Granny Kate") Kate talks about their first bad first meeting and wants to start over. But Chelsea ignores her as Billie walks up, she asks her how she and Bo "lost" her to begin with. Billie tells her it’s a long story and she will tell her later. Chelsea goes to leave, so Billie gives her the Reader’s Digest version, blaming the DiMeras. Chelsea tells her that she had a mom and doesn’t want Billie, but they do agree to talk more later. Chelsea and Abby talk and Abby asks why she is now being a little more nice to them and she tells Abby that she plans on using them to get the things she wants. 2 guys arrive (strippers I assume) and Bonnie is happy to see them. One of them has on a Lone Ranger mask and as soon as he speaks, you know it is BART. Bonnie takes them to the stage and announces for the ladies to get out their dollar bills as the music starts (Too Sexy for my Shirt). All the ladies are screaming and laughing as they dance (LOL as Jen covers Abby’s eyes). Bart is now down to his boxers as he and Bonnie are dancing on stage, embarrassing Mimi. Sami sits back, seemingly uninterested in all this until Bart goes over to her table, trying to get her to dance. She refuses until he pulls up his mask and reveals himself to her, telling her he has a message from the count. He drags her outside, with Kate watching. Shawn has now returned from the other party (a snoozer) and tells Mimi that he is just going on home and he’ll see her later. Chloe and Belle talk as she worries about how her face will turn out (yawn). Hope arrives as Chelsea tells Abby that Hope had better enjoy her marriage...while it lasts. Hope assures Billie that everything will turn out as it should, which pisses Billie off. Kate tells Bille that "the way it should" is her, Bo and Chelsea being a family and Hope out in the cold. Chelsea tells Abby that it finally occurred to her that with Granny Kate (aka Ms. Moneybags) as a grandmother, she has struck it rich. Outside (as Bart keeps calling her "Stan) Sami tells Bart that she wants the disguise back...her DNA is all over it. He tells her that when Tony escapes, she will get it. If not, then Stan will take her to her grave.MEANWHILE...the men’s party is a real snoozer. Brady and Philip talk about Chloe/Belle as Roman is chattering on and on to John about Marlena going off with Dr. North. Neither of them like it, but John tells him that it is really none of his business. Victor and Lucas talk and he asks if he is sure he knows what he is doing by marrying Sami. Roman is still harping to John, second guessing him and John gets short with him, saying that Marlena is HIS wife and his decision, not Roman’s. He says that this whole situation is Roman’s fault to begin with. Victor tells Philip how proud he is of him and and they hug as he tells him that his family will always have whatever they want or need. (Shawn overhears this and leaves). Bo arrives and reveals to Victor that he has a new grand daughter as well and explains about Chelsea. Bo tells them that he knows nothing about raising girls. Victor is happy for him. Phil gets a call and says he must go visit with a doctor and calls Belle to come and get him. Meanwhile, John is on the phone, talking to someone who is investigating Dr. North and he seems very disturbed with the news he gets.
AT THE CABIN...Dr. North tells Marlena he has a new treatment to try and tells Marlena she will have to trust him and give herself to him completely. She talks about how tormented she felt before and how she feels so safe and comfortable with him. He tells her that John keeps calling (she realizes that) and tells him that she doesn’t want to go to the weddings. She talks about how uncomfortable she would be. He goes to get something to start her therapy. Later, she is on her stomach and he is placing warm flat rocks on her back to relieve stress. She is so relaxed and he says this is only the beginning, he also plans on using hypno-therapy, telling her that she did that in her practice as well. Later, he tells her he is going to hypnotize her and wants her calm...he may probe some sensitive territory. We see him putting something in her tea and hands it to her. He puts her under and takes her back to her past...he talks about a time when she was most happy...a time no one else knows about. He asks her about the man in her life during that time and asks if she still loves that man. We then see Marlena having a flood of short flashbacks of kissing him. She says "it’s you" and he says "yes, you remember" and they begin to kiss...just as John walks in and sees them...and the previews show...Shawn (to Belle): Belle, Belle...what is it? Belle (crying): It’s the baby...
Chloe (to Brady): No, I don’t want you to leave...
Sami (to Bart): Do you know how much trouble I will be in if I get caught? (Bart): Another wedding blowing up in your face will be the least of your problems...
Marlena (to John): If you don’t come to terms with Alex being in my life...you will lose me forever...
and the credits roll...

Episode #10136Tape date – 8/2/05
Director – Albert Alarr
Summary: Patrick learns more about Frankie than Frankie does Patrick; Hope and Jen chat about their situations; Chelsea realizes it is true, she is Bo and Billie's daughter; and Lexie tells Jack more bad news after getting more pressure from Tek about her feelings for him.
AT THE HOSPITAL…
Tek visits Lexie at the hospital to get her to admit she has feelings for him. She admits she does have feelings, but can’t act on them due. He reminds her they have already, twice, right here in her office. He wants her to admit to herself that she doesn’t love Abe anymore and is in love with him. She tells him that Abe is the father of her son and she promised to be with him forever and won’t leave him.
Someone knocks on the door and Lexie opens it. It’s Jack. He apologizes if he’s interrupting. Tek leaves and Jack and Lexie talk about his latest test results. He tells her he’s feeling better actually. Lexie tells him the results are much worse than she expected. Jack reminds her he’s dying, what could be worse? Lexie says the disease is progressing faster than they had anticipated. Jack insists Jennifer not know yet, not until he can’t hide it from her. He has a plan to make sure his family is okay after he’s gone. He calls Frankie’s cell and asks him to come to the hospital. Frankie arrives seconds later (literally) and Jack asks for the info on Patrick. Jack begs Frankie to make his wife fall in love with him as he’s dying faster than he realized.
AT THE DEVERAUX’S…

Hope and Jen come to Patrick’s rescue after hearing how Jack and Frankie are talking to him. Hope reiterates not wanting to be in the middle of Bo and Billie’s discussion with Chelsea. Hope and Jen talk about the bridal shower for Sami and Chloe at Alices and figure it might get a little dicey with two brides. Apparently the bachelor party for Brady and Lucas will also be at Alice’s. Jack tells Jen he’ll see her over there as he has something to take care of first.
Alone, Patrick wants to know what Frankie has on him. Frankie finally admits he found out that there are dossiers on Patrick, but they’re sealed..which tells him that Patrick is more dangerous than he thought. Patrick realizes Frankie must work for an agency to know that and just blew his cover (hey, does he know Sydney Bristow?) Frankie said he has pretty high clearance, but Patrick’s file is classified. He wants to know who Patrick is working for. Patrick smiles and refuses to tell Frankie anything, but reminds he doesn’t have to take orders from him either. Jack calls (see above) and asks Frankie to meet him at the hospital to talk more about Lockhart. He leaves and Patrick tells himself that the junior “G” man shouldn’t have shown his hand..now he himself has the advantage. He calls and tells whoever he’s working for about it.
BRADY HOME…
We find Jen and Hope sitting on the couch going through clothes Zack has outgrown to give to Jack Jr. to wear. Zack and Jack. Jr. sit on the floor playing next to Gran’s chair. Jen tells Hope that she hadn’t planned on any more children, but the way Jack’s been acting lately, she wouldn’t be surprised if she’s pregnant right now. Alice tells them her philosophy that healthy s-e-x (she spells it out after looking down at her great grandsons) is a sign of a good marriage. Hope admits things between her and Bo are better than ever as well with Tony now in custody. Jen senses that Hope’s concerned about how Chelsea’s coming into their family will affect their marriage and Hope admits she’s a little concerned. She was prepared when she had her sons, but Bo and Billie aren’t prepared to give the tough love that Chelsea may need. They stand and chat (is it me or do they seem to be having a private conversation with Alice just sitting a few feet away) about hoping Sami makes it to the altar this time. Alice reminds them Sami isn’t the only one whose wedding didn’t go smoothly. Later the gals continue to box up baby clothes (yikes, tons of them) when Alice is upstairs putting the boys to bed (she must be babysitting them while everyone’s at the shower). Hope thanks Jen for being there for her now. The two cousins share how much each other means to them and glad they’re friends as well as cousins. Jen shares her concern with Jack’s unusual amount of attention he’s giving her. Hope, having been in similar situations, attributes it to Jack’s being grateful to be home after what he’s gone through lately. Hope knows her marriage is solid, but is worried that now that Bo and Billie know who their daughter is finally, things aren’t going to get any better.
BO, BILLIE AND CHELSEA…
Chelsea is hiding out in the bathroom, refusing to come out and go home with Billie. She accuses Billie of using her to tear Bo and Hope apart. Bo speaks up like a father and how not to talk like that to her mother. Chelsea argues Billie’s just a tramp and he’s not her father. Bo tries to rationalize with her that the parents who raised her weren’t her biological parents, they are. Chelsea dresses and opens the bathroom window saying “sorry guys, I’m outta here..” to herself. Later the window slips shut and they catch on to what’s happening. Bo takes over and tells Chelsea that she can go through the front door and they won’t stop her, but asks that she talk to them first and let them show her the proof they’re her parents. Chelsea walks out and Billie shows her the lab report, but Chelsea accuses Billie of being so desperate that she paid off a lab tech to type up a bogus report. Bo continues to lecture Chelsea on the way she talks to Billie, her mother. Bo asks Chelsea to read the report and Billie offers to redo the tests with Chelsea there if she wants. Chelsea reads the report and believes it this time. Bo promises to find out how the Benson’s got her. Chelsea asks to be alone to think about it, asking where Max went. They tell her that he gave them some time alone with her and there’s a knock at the door. It’s Abby. Max had told her what the news was and she sits on the bed next to Chelsea.. She tells her friend she couldn’t believe the news, that Bo and Billie are her parents, but tells Chelsea she’ll never be alone again and hugs her as Chelsea cries on her shoulder. Abby goes to leave, thinking she shouldn’t have rushed over like she did. Chelsea tells Abby she wants to leave with her and asks Bo and Billie if they understand she needs to wrap her head around all this. Bo pulls Billie back from trying to hug Chelsea and they say they understand. Abby asks Chelsea if she’s still coming to the bridal shower with her and Chelsea doesn’t know. After they leave, Bo tells a sobbing Billie that Chelsea’s in shock. Hopefully some day she’ll accept their love and support. Billie asks what if Chelsea comes to hate them. Outside Chelsea thanks Abby for coming. Abby calmly explains to Chelsea that Bo and Billie are really good people and they’ve waited so long to find their daughter. She hopes Chelsea will give them a chance. All Chelsea knows is that her whole world was just turned upside down and someone is going to have to pay for that …..freeze frame..as the previews roll…
Hope to Bo: “Chelsea is not my biological child.”
Bo’s response: “She’s Billie’s and my daughter and you can’t get past that.”
Marlena, her eyes closed, says to Alex: “It’s you.”
Alex, as he leans down to kiss her: “you remembered”.
The bridal shower is in full swing at Alice’s Bar as the gals scream as male dancers are ripping their shirts off (cute as Jen puts her hand over Abby’s eyes)…and we also see one of the males dancers doing some very close dancing with Bonnie.
