Summary: Ho hum…this one is pretty much a snoozer. Austin and Carrie banter on the roof as he wants the truth from her…Sami and Lucas also spend time together…Bonnie urges her children to go for the gold…Hope is ready to take the ultrasound, but there is a problem…Shawn is upset to learn his mother is pregnant…and the “gloved one” is lurking around the hospital. (NOTE: don't analyze this picture of the "gloved one"...this is NOT from the show...it's just a picture of a gloved hand I found in Google, lol).


At the Hospital…Shawn and Philip return from their “contributions” as we see again the gloved one make the switch and the clenched fist of victory. Shawn assures Mimi that it will work this time, even though she is skeptical. The gloved hand opens the door as someone watches the four of them. Philip stares in that direction and seems troubled…telling Belle that there may be a problem. She asks him what as he tells her that because of his low sperm count, it may not work for them. But Belle thinks they should remain positive…it worked once, it will happen again. Mimi watches them hug and thinks to herself that the first time, it was Shawn that got her pregnant. Shawn suggests that he and Mimi go to the nursery to check out the babies but Mimi starts whining again about not getting pregnant and losing him. He assures her that everything will be fine.

Elsewhere, Billie thinks it would be a good idea for Patrick to stay away from the hospital…if Bo finds him hanging around, he will go ballistic…AGAIN. Patrick thinks he may be the father (as an excited Bonnie listens). Billie thinks he sounds like he WANTS to be the father. Bonnie comes over congratulating him but he makes her stop. Patrick says they don’t know…Bo could be the father. Shawn and Mimi walk up and Shawn overhears this, saying Oh my God…my mom is pregnant? He wants answers and Patrick tells him that they don’t know if it is him or Bo that is the father…they are going to run some tests, making Shawn furious, blaming Bo for everything. Mimi thinks they should stay out of it, but Shawn is about to blow a gasket, saying he doesn’t want his dad to use this to manipulate his mom into taking him back. (LOL as you can see Bonnie in the background taking hits on her flask). Shawn rushes off to see Hope as Mimi wants to go after him, but Patrick stops her. Billie leans over to Bonnie, saying “this is NOT good”. Bonnie replies “it all depends on where you are sitting” Bonnie tells Patrick that he and Mimi both need to play their cards right and they can hit the Horton jackpot as both of them roll their eyes.

Hope and Bo talk about who’s the daddy as Bo is SURE it is his and says he can prove it. He explains that he thinks it is a sign that they are to get back together…this is a gift to them from Zack (rolling eyes here). Hope, however is more realistic (…as well as skeptical) and says that even IF the baby is his, that doesn’t mean they can magically work things out. She thinks that from his reaction, she isn’t so sure he could ever forgive her for sleeping with Patrick…just as she is having a problem forgiving him for all he has done. And she says it isn’t just Billie. She talks about how Chelsea turned their lives upside down. She asks if Patrick turns out to be the father, how will Bo deal with that? She tells him that whatever happens…he is not to do anything he will regret. But Bo is still convinced that it is his baby…sure that it is a sign that they are to get back together. Shawn walks up to hear this and says “the HELL you are…you are going to stay out of my mom’s life”. He starts ranting about Bo manipulating Hope and Bo says that Shawn doesn’t have any say in it. Shawn says that Bo doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Hope asks Bo to leave so she can talk to Shawn alone. Outside the room, Billie asks Bo if he is okay and he says no…Shawn would rather have that LOSER be the father. Billie says he is just angry and Bo says that Shawn doesn’t KNOW angry as he fumes. Meanwhile, Patrick is chastising Bonnie for trying to scheme, saying this is not about the money. But Bonnie asks if Patrick and Mimi have not learned ANYTHING from her? Mimi says yes, for all of Bonnie’s scheming…she still has nothing. Patrick paces the floor as Mimi tells Bonnie she still feels like she is going to lose Shawn because of her lying. But Bonnie says once she has his baby, she will have a hold on Shawn…a stronger one that Belle ever hoped to have. Patrick is having doubts now, not sure he could be the father…after all, he explains, they were only together once. Bonnie informs him that the Lockhart men are known for being “one shot wonders” (ROFL). Mimi just hopes that Shawn can handle the truth. Billie tells Bo that he can’t blame himself for everything. But Bo says that everytime he and Hope make some progress and working their way back to each other, it all turns to crap. He lost Zack and Shawn…and if this baby is Patrick’s, he will lose Hope as well. Billie urges him to be positive. She tells him she wants him to be happy and knows that will only happen if he is with Hope…she knows he loves her. Shawn and Hope talk as she asks him to find a way to make peace with his dad. The nurse comes in and tells Hope that they need to talk…there is a problem. Bo and Patrick come barging in as well. The nurse informs them that their ultrasound equipment is broken and that with the upcoming holiday, they won’t be able to do get it fixed. They will have to reschedule the test after the 4th. In the lobby, Bonnie sits with Billie and tells her that she is SURE that Patrick is the father. Billie says that isn’t what she wants. Confused, Bonnie points out that if that is what happens, that leaves Bo for Billie to go after. Billie says she doesn’t want it to work out that way. But Bonnie urges her that if she gets the chance, she should go for it. Inside, Hope is upset and they promise to call her to reschedule. She asks Patrick to walk her to her car, upsetting Bo. After they leave, Shawn tells his dad that it looks like Hope has made her choice. Billie comes in and Bo says that he loves Hope and he KNOWS that baby is his. Billie asks what if it isn’t. Bo says whatever happens…Hope is NOT going to end up with Lockhart. Billie asks what is he planning to do and Bo says whatever it takes to get rid of that son of a bitch.

Back with Philip and Belle, Dr. James comes in and Belle asks if there is any news. He tells them that he is confident it will be successful which thrills them. He goes to the lab and the tech informs him that he is ready to fertilize the eggs. He warns him to keep them straight (Brady with Brady…Kiriakis with Kirakis). He doesn’t want any screw ups…or it will hurt his research funding. The tech assures him he will make no mistakes. The “gloved one” is watching from behind the curtain…as we see a flashback of the switch…again (oh thanks…I had almost forgotten about that ;-) Philip asks Belle if she is ready to be a mother again and they talk about wanting to have a big family and Philip is ready to go celebrate. Belle just hopes that Shawn and Mimi will be celebrating as well. As they hug, Mimi watches and thinks to herself…that Shawn is already a father…to Claire…just no one knows.

At Sami’s Apartment…She is flipping through bridal magazines picking out things as she has a fantasy of marrying Austin. Oops…during her fantasy, Austin morphs into Lucas. Lucas comes in carrying his bags and tells her that he is moving in. She asks if he has changed his mind about marrying Carrie and he says no, he was just joking. He says that they are getting married TOMORROW and he just didn’t think he should stay there, so Austin invited him to stay at Sami’s. (well, that sure was nice of Austin…considering it is SAMI’S apartment!) He is going to bunk with Will. He notices Sami is acting a little strange (how can you tell?) and asks her what’s wrong. She denies it, but he says he can tell that something is going on. She doesn’t want to talk about it. He asks her if she doesn’t want him to marry Carrie and she says he has never cared about what she thinks. She tells him that he is marrying Carrie…and she is marrying Austin and she is happy for all of them. He sits down with her and she asks…just out of curiosity…if Austin and Carrie hadn’t come back into their lives, would he & she (Sami and Lucas) have gotten married? He says that he loves Carrie and can’t think about what might have been…he and Carrie are in love and will be happy. He belongs with Carrie and she belongs with Austin. That is the way it should be. He tells her they all have a chance to be happy and warns her not to ruin it. As he puts his things in Will’s room, she thinks to herself that she has already done something terrible. Sami calls and leaves Lexie an urgent message to call her. Lucas hears the end of the call and asks who she was calling and she lies and says her hairdresser…she wants to look nice for his and Carrie’s wedding. Lucas tells her she shouldn’t worry about her hair…she and Austin have a great future…IF she wants it. She says of course she does and he says well, it is all up to her. After he leaves, she says it is NOT up to her…it is up to Lexie and she won’t let that BITCH ruin it all for her.

On the roof…Carrie is trying to convince herself that she loves Lucas as she has a fantasy of their wedding. In her fantasy, Lucas morphs into Austin. She wonders aloud if she is making a mistake…does she REALLY love Lucas…just as Austin walks up and overhears. He asks her if she is having second thoughts. He admits that he still loves her but has accepted her decision. He asks if she weren’t pregnant, would she still be marrying Lucas? He doesn’t think she is sure she loves Lucas, even though she swears she does. She says they can’t play the “what if” game and that it is time for both of them to move on…she with Lucas and he with Sami. He says he just wants her to be happy…as she does her best to convince him that she is. She says that she and Lucas are committed to each other. He takes her hand and says that her ring is NOT a wedding ring and if she isn’t sure, it is best to admit it now than later. She asks if he is telling her NOT to marry Lucas? And he says he isn’t asking her to do anything, but he knows she has doubts. She tells him she is marrying Lucas…end of discussion, but Austin won’t give up, reminding her that he BEGGED her to choose him. He tells her that she was the great love of his life and is sure that she felt the same way…once. Insert a long assortment of flashbacks of Austin and Carrie here…kissing, dancing, up on the roof, etc. She begins crying, telling him she will never forget him either, but they can’t go back. Austin tells her that he still loves her, but he turned to Sami because Carrie chose Lucas. Yes, he DOES love Sami…but it’s not the same way he loves Carrie. He tells her it’s not too late, but once she walks down the aisle and takes those vows, it’s for life. He says if she isn’t sure about what she is doing, she owes it to all of them to be honest. Crying now, she tells him it doesn’t matter…they can NEVER be together (as she has flashbacks of Lexie giving her the news…and her devastation). Austin doesn’t understand and wants to know what she means…she OWES him the truth. Freeze frame on Carrie with small insets of Austin and Lucas…as the previews show…

Kate (to Sami and Lexie): So…the two of you ARE hiding something…

Kayla: Steve!...you remember! (as she hugs him and he stares straight ahead)…

Max (to Chelsea): What the HELL is your problem? (Chelsea): I am young and I want to have some fun. (Max): Well, you can have all the fun you want from now on…

Frankie (to Jen): I’d do anything for you and your family…(Jen): I don’t know what I’d do with out you (as they hug…and Jack watches)…

A slow day in Salem as our Salemites flock to the pub for Caroline’s chocolate chip pancakes (YUM!!!) after discussing what happened the night before at home and Steve asks Kayla for more information about his past.

THE LOFTS
Bonnie arrives and Shawn tells her that Mimi asked him for a divorce and threw her rings at him. Bonnie pounds on the bedroom door, demanding that Mimi open it. Belle and Philip knock on the door to the loft. They’re going to the pub for breakfast and want to see if Shawn and Mimi want to join them (are they joined at the hip or something…and who’s with Claire now…for a couple to want another baby so badly you would think they’d take her to breakfast with them (I posted an old picture of Claire so she's included somewhere, ha!!!) Bonnie is irate when she sees that Mimi has started packing and tells her to stop. Mimi tells Bonnie about what Shawn said to Bo about losing the love of his life. She deserves to be unhappy after not telling Shawn the truth about his being Claire’s daddy. Bonnie tells her the only way she’ll lose Shawn to Belle is if she hands him to her on a silver platter. Belle decides to talk with Mimi since Shawn doesn’t appear to be making any headway and especially after hearing that Bonnie’s in there with her now. As soon as she leaves, Shawn knows Philip’s angry and he doesn’t disappoint him as he warns him to stay away from Belle. Belle asks to come in and talk and when Belle sees clothes in a suitcase, Bonnie tells her Mimi is packing away some of her winter clothes. Bonnie tells Belle that Mimi is tired and needs some sleep. She has to take care of herself if she’s to be a mother soon. Belle and Bonnie leave.

During the minute or two Belle was in the bedroom, Shawn and Philip argue. Shawn agrees that yes, he and Belle have a past..but she’s married to him now and they have one child and trying for another. Shawn asks what Mimi meant the night before and Bonnie blames it on the hormones she’s been injected with. He forgot about that and accepts that explanation. Mimi walks out calmly and apologizes. She tells Bonnie she’s tired, tired of lying. Mimi apologizes for all the screaming she did last night and he does for what she heard him say to his dad. He gets down on his knee and tells her he loves her and asks her to be his wife. She agrees and he asks for the ring. Bonnie rushes for them as he puts them back on Mimi’s finger. He stands up and kisses her. Belle’s phone rings..it’s the hospital. She tells Philip that they have to make a stop on the way to breakfast. Mimi also gets a call too and she looks disappointed, but then smiles as she tells them the egg they harvested was a “keeper” (she uses her two fingers on each hand to emphasize the word).

THE APARTMENTS
Sami is making breakfast burritos from scratch and everyone’s in a good mood. Will runs out and tackles Austin and Lucas walks in carrying the paper, drawn by the great smells coming from the kitchen. He thinks she ordered takeout and when he is told she cooked, not as anxious, LOL. Sami tells him he accepted her breakfast invite, so don’t insult the chef. Sami and Austin kiss as Lucas starts in with his mantra about thinking Sami was up to something. He can’t believe all the surprises she’s throwing him lately. He watches them kiss again and says how he’s also happier than he’s ever been, marrying the woman of his dreams, Carrie.

Sami squeezed about 2 tblspns each of fresh orange juice for the guys and Will is reluctant to drink it..but does so. Will heads off for the shower and Austin to make some phone calls, so Lucas takes the opportunity to apologize to Sami for blaming her without knowing the facts. We find them sitting on the couch having an old fashioned Lucas and Sami chat as Will walks out swatting the smoke..Sami forgot about the burrito casserole in the oven and it’s burnt. Poor Sami…she wants to cook like Martha Stewart so badly! Lucas turns off the smoke detector (LOL) and they assure her they’ve called the pub and Caroline is expecting them. Sami only wanted to impress them and they joke about the juice being so good. Will says every drop of it (being there was only a few). She sends them on to the pub ahead of her as she has to get ready (she looks fine to me in her pink tshirt and white pants). She decides to call someone.

THE PUB
Carrie arrives at the pub to meet with Roman and Caroline about her wedding. Caroline informs her that her favorite pancakes are being served. Kate is also there and Carrie assures them all she’s happy about the wedding and baby. Lexie arrives and Caroline asks if Abe will be joining her (someone fill her in). Lexie says no and asks to speak with Roman alone for a few minutes. He steps outside with her as she asks him to help smooth things over with Abe for her. Inside Kate knows there’s more to what’s happening with Lexie than she knows and would love to know what it is.

Kayla and Steve are having breakfast there too. She thanks him for joining her and he’s glad she asked and wants to talk with her. He said their kiss was sweet, but it didn’t bring any memories back. He’s afraid it’s been too long for him to get any of his past memories back. He asks her to tell him some more about their past. He suggests something about Stephanie. She tells him Stephanie has heard about Steve all her life, but was just a baby when he died. She’s independent and strong minded. He figures they fight then, but she says no. She shows him pictures of his daughter and he says she’s a beautiful girl. She laughs, saying not to say that to Stephanie…she’s a “woman”. She hates Stephanie’s career and knows he will too. We return after she told him what Stephanie does (we don’t hear) and says Stephanie is strong minded and he says like her papa. Awww. She’s tried to call Stephanie, but is unable to reach her and getting concerned.

At an other table, Frankie thanks Max for getting him out of the house for breakfast. Max tries to cheer Frankie up by reminding him that Jack had been declared legally dead and is on the way to that now. Frankie understands what Jack was trying to avoid by the way Jennifer is handling his return. Max tells Frankie how exciting Chelsea is as she knows what she wants and goes for it.

Abby and Chelsea arrive and sit at their own table. Abby asks Chelsea what she’s going to tell Max about being exclusive as she sees Max leave the pub. Chelsea looks for coffee, but tells Abby she’s going to tell Max NO (lucky him!). She likes him, but doesn’t want to be exclusive with him. Chelsea tells Abby men like it when you are hard to get. Abby doesn’t understand the game playing. Max returns with a bunch of beautiful flowers for Chelsea, who accepts them with barely a smile and sets them down. Abby excuses herself to let them talk and Chelsea wastes no time saying she wants to see others as well as Max. Surprised and embarrassed, he says he has to do something and leaves. Abby can’t believe Chelsea and warns her that when other gals know he’s back on the market, will grab him up (yup, big shot NASCAR drivers really love those high school girls..or did they graduate?)

Lexie asks Roman to talk with Abe as he needs to talk with someone about what’s going on (yeah, Marlena and John aren’t around to help him). She hugs him in appreciation when he agrees to. Kate walks out and asks Roman if he can tear himself away as his daughter is about ready to leave. Roman heads inside and Lexie excuses herself for something when her cell phone rings. Nosy Kate sees it’s Sami and answers with a voice mail recording prompt for Dr. Carver and Sami leaves a message to Lexie asking why she didn’t say anything about what she did last night.

Later, Sami arrived at the pub in a dress and just finished a brief discussion with her Aunt Kayla, happy to see her. Kate observes Sami asking Lexie if she got the call. Lexie starts to look for a message, but tells Sami to leave it alone and be happy she’s getting off scott free. She leaves the pub.

Outside, Carrie tells Roman she’s happy to be home and for him to be walking her down the aisle. She asks if he’s okay about her being pregnant and he said as long as Lucas is going to marry her it’s okay, otherwise he’d get out his shotgun. We see the gloved hand person hiding in a box on the pier overhearing this as they walk by (so, it’s NOT ROMAN either) Carrie tells Roman the florist found her flowers, so all she has to do is show up at the church with her father on her arm.

Lucas tells Austin he’ll cut Sami some slack.

THE HOSPITAL
Well, onto step two of the baby making process. Shawn and Philip are asked to follow the nurse for their own harvesting procedure. (are they sharing a room for this like Belle and Mimi did too, haha) Mimi tells Shawn to think of her while gone, LOL. She tells Belle, Step 2: sperm samples and Step 3: fertilizing the eggs…they’re only two steps away from getting pregnant ( hopefully THIS time she’ll not be off shopping as soon as she leaves the hospital). The guys return as they all laugh about what just happened as Shawn tells Mimi he was thinking about her.

Inside the lab we see the LEFT hand of the gloved person swap the lids on Mimi and Belle’s eggs containers. After it’s done, the gloved person clenches their LEFT hand in triumph….(hmmmm, so are we looking for a leftie???)

As the previews roll…

AUSTIN TO CARRIE: Tell me the truth. You owe me THAT much.
CARRIE (in tears): You’re right, I do.

LUCAS (with suit bag over his shoulder and walking into Sami’s apartment): I’m moving in.
SAMI: What do you mean? Did you change your mind about marrying Carrie?

SHAWN to BO (and Hope in the exam room at the hospital): After what you did to us, you were going to stay out of mom’s life.

MIMI to herself as she watches Belle hugging Philip): Shawn already has a baby, Claire, just none of you know it.

Summary: Jack suffers through his pain with Jennifer by his side…Kayla takes Steve (and the viewers) on a trip down memory lane about their past…Shawn tries to convince Mimi she is the one he loves…Sami confesses to everyone (well, sort of) as Lexie backs her up.

Kayla meets Steve…outside the pub as he tells her that Jack has decided to stay in Salem to die. She thinks it is good that he wants to be near his family. She wants to take him somewhere and show him something. They end up down at the docks and (we don’t see it, but) she has shown him a yacht, hoping to jog his memory about their wedding. But it didn’t help. But he does want to know more as she explains about how she lost her hearing and about their wedding (as we see flashbacks of their vows). He says if he can’t remember that, then it is hopeless. But she assures him she isn’t giving up and wants to take him somewhere else. They end up at the jail as she shows him a cell and tells him this is where she almost gave birth. She tells him about how they were to marry and his wife showed up and how later, she was arrested for her murder. (Flashbacks of her being photographed and booked). She tells him how she went into labor the day of her trial and how they almost didn’t make it to the hospital (flashbacks of her giving birth). He agrees with her about how all of it sounds so crazy and asks what happened next. She explains that she was eventually exonerated…well, after a prison break, fleeing the country and Stephanie being kidnapped…you know, stuff like that. (LOL). She tells him she wouldn’t blame him if he took off running. He asks if she is pulling his leg and she laughs. She says she can’t promise their life would be that exciting again, but she does want that love back. She says she isn’t trying to pressure him, but he feels bad that he can’t remember any of it. We then have flashbacks of his emotional ‘death’ scene and him flat-lining. She says that was the worst day of her life and when he was buried, a part of her was as well. And now, it is a miracle that he is standing there. She tells him that he is the only man she has ever loved or ever will. They go back to the pub and she asks if he wants to come in for a drink. He thanks her, but thinks he should get back to Jack…he is such a baby about taking his medicine. She says maybe they can continue their trip down memory lane and he says he is sorry that so far, it has just been a one way street. She kisses him as he has flashes of memory, kissing her before. He gets a strange look and she asks what is it?...does he remember something?

At the Deveraux House…Jack is in bed with Jen by his side. Frankie comes in to check on them and says he is glad Jack decided to stay. Jen talks about how she lost Jack so many times before, but she knows this time it is forever. She talks about how unfair it is for him to die and Frankie tells her that even after he is gone, he will always be there…in her heart. Jake wakes up and tells her that as long as Frankie is there for her, he knows she will be okay. He just wishes they didn’t have to watch him die…but he plans on being there until the bitter end. Jen hugs him as he tells Frankie that he is not to go anywhere either. He starts writhing in pain, sending Jen scrambling for his meds. She gives him pain meds and begs him to look at her and stay with her…she can’t lose him yet as he moans and groans in pain. Frankie tells her to give him more (he is taking morphine) but she is afraid she will kill him. He promises he won’t die…as long as she is by his side. Later, he is finally resting comfortably as Frankie urges her to go get some rest as well. She says she can’t but he says she needs to rest…for Jack’s sake. She finally promises that she will. As Frankie goes to leave, she tells him she loves him. She goes over and lies next to Jack as she has a long string of flashbacks set to music. She falls asleep as he slowly puts his hand atop hers.

At the Lofts…Mimi goes storming in and babbling about how Shawn never wanted her at all…he just “settled” for her because he couldn’t have Belle. She asks if he still loves Belle and he says a part of him always will. She rushes to the bedroom and slams the door. She lies on the bed crying, looking at their wedding picture. Philip and Belle arrive in the hall as they talk about Mimi being so upset about what Shawn said. He thinks that Belle still loves Shawn as well and asks what will she do when he comes crawling back to her. Belle explains that yes, Shawn was her first love, but now she loves Philip…he is her husband and the father of her child and they kiss. Shawn comes into the hall and wants to talk to Belle so Philip reluctantly goes inside. He tells her about Mimi wanting and divorce and he wants her to go and talk to Mimi, but she refuses, saying it’s not her place. He apologizes for what he said earlier about losing her and says he doesn’t want to go through that again. He doesn’t want to lose Mimi as well. She encourages to go talk to Mimi (as Philip listens). After Shawn leaves, Philip comes out asking if everything is okay. He tells her he overheard and apologizes for doubting her. He hugs her, saying he loves her so much. She hugs him back and with tears in her eyes, says she loves him as well. Shawn goes back inside and bangs on the bedroom door, begging Mimi to come out. She finally comes out, saying they need to talk about their future. He apologizes for what he said, saying he didn’t mean it…he used to love Belle, but it is Mimi he loves now and thanks God for her in his life. He says that after watching what his parents are going through, she is the only person he trusts and how he loves her. She yells NO…she doesn’t deserve his trust…she is a fraud…and starts sobbing. She cries that she is a monster…he can’t help…it is too late for them…and their marriage…then she storms back into the bedroom. Across the hall, Belle is now changed into her night gown as Philip returns from taking the sitter home. She tells him that Claire is asleep and it is time for them to get to bed as well…however, she doesn’t think they will be doing much sleeping. (hubba-hubba).

At Sami’s Place…Lexie proceeds with her expose of Sami, urging Sami to tell the truth. Everyone wants the truth as Sami is sweating bullets. Then we see the scene from a different perspective…the someone with the gloved hand is watching through the window. Kate thinks that since blackmail is a crime, they should call the police, but Austin quiets her down. Sami says that Lexie ruined her own marriage and that she isn’t going to take the blame for that. The gloved hand pulls out a cell phone and dials a number. Lexie starts to tell all when her phone rings and she steps out into the hall, telling them it may be a patient. While she is gone, Sami gets a chance to tell HER version of the truth. She explains that yes, she WAS threatening Lexie, but only because of her affair with Tek. She wanted Lexie to be faithful to Abe and not hurt him. They want to know HOW she knew about it and she says she practically saw them doing it in the park. She says she confronted Lexie and threatened her. But, she swears she did NOT tell Abe about it…that isn’t want she wanted. In the hall, Lexie answers the phone and asks who it is. With a shocked look on her face, she says OH MY GOD! (Well, I guess the “gloved hand” is NOT Kate). Inside, Sami swears she did NOT out Lexie. Lucas jumps in, not believing her. Austin says he wants to believe her as Kate chimes in, damning Sami and saying IF Sami has changed, it is probably for the worst. Lexie asks the caller how they know where she is and she says NO, she can’t do it…it’s not right. She listens and finally says she guesses she has no choice and goes back inside. Kate demands the truth from Lexie about what Sami has told them. Lexie says she is right…for once in her life, Sami is telling the truth (as Sami stands there in shock). Kate thinks she has snowed everyone again, but Austin says this may have not been her brightest move, but she was only trying to protect Abe. Both Will and Carrie are proud of her for trying to protect Abe as well. Even Lucas apologizes, saying maybe he was wrong about her. Austin asks her if she still wants to elope, but she says no, she wants the biggest wedding ever in Salem…and they will send the bill to Kate. As Lexie is getting on the elevator, she asks “This cannot be happening…who are you…why wont’ you let me tell?” The gloved hand is at Sami’s door. Freeze frame on Sami & Austin…as the previews show…

Bonnie (to Mimi): Belle is just waiting for you to lose your nerve and you are not gonna give her the satisfaction. (Mimi): Mom, it is over. I have finally lost him…

Shawn (to Philip): What's your problem? (Phillip): Stay away from Belle…

The pace on Days has once more slowed to a crawl, as nearly half the show is set in Sami’s apt. where absolutely nothing happens. Elsewhere, Jack is determined to return to the hospice, while Hope gets startling news at the hospital.

THE DEVERAUX HOME

Jack comes downstairs, telling everyone this has been a big mistake, and he is going back to the hospice. Everyone protests, but Jack is adamant. Frankie tells him he is not going to let him walk out on his family again. Jack protests, telling Jennifer that if he knew this was her wedding, he never, never would have come back. He talks of how he intended to stay away, but then he found Steve, and he just had to bring him back. He did so, now his job is done. Kayla is thankful for that, but everyone scolds him for wanting to leave again. Frankie reads him a riot act, while Jen really reams him out. Patch & Kayla leave to give them all some privacy. Abby mouths off, telling her dad that Frankie is just a replacement, husband #2, & he should stay. Frankie goes to leave, but Jack stops him, and both Jack & Jennifer admonish Abby for talking that way. Jack explains how he chose Frankie, how he wants Jennifer to be happy, and that Frankie has done that for her. Abby offers to take Jack back up to bed.

Outside, Steve tells Kayla that he will have to leave with Jack. She pleads with him, but he says no, he wishes he could remember, but he can’t and she is not his wife anymore. He notes that his headstone says he was dead, and that she had made a life for herself, gone to medical school, and did fine without him. She assures him she never stopped loving him, always has, always will. She tells him how he hated to tie himself down to anything, but that he did with her. And he is still that kind of person, who would want to fight to find out what happened.

SALEM HOSPITAL

We once again see the doctor telling Hope her symptoms of late are common in a pregnancy. Hope is startled, Bo is thrilled, while Patrick looks askance. Hope remembers having sex with both Bo & Patrick, & is in quandary. Patrick goes out in the hall, as Billie arrives, telling her about Hope. Billie realizes he could be the father, and gets that “look” on her face. Back in the room, Hope makes Bo realize that he might not be the father, that she was with Patrick, too, and it had been a while since she & Bo had been together. So the baby could be Patrick’s. (One wonders why the men in Salem just have never heard of condoms, doesn’t it?) Bo, being Bo, naturally has to punch Patrick out as he comes back into the room. Billie separates them, with Hope yelling at them both to stop. Bo & Billie go out in hall, where they argue. Bo comments that if that baby is Patrick’s his marriage to Hope could be over. Light bulb time for Billie, as she tells herself this would be her chance to get him, and then tells herself to stop thinking like that. Bo realizes that Hope was recently with Patrick, and her symptoms had started recently, but Billie reminds him that Hope did not realize for months that she was pregnant with Zack. (true, Hope was locked in the turret with Stefano at the time). Inside the room, Patrick is saying nearly the same thing to Hope, and she realizes she has to get answers. She pages the doctor, as she has to find out how far along she is. The doctor is unable to tell her this….as she has always had irregular menstral cycle, and has been spotting for the past several months. And without a last period to go by, it is impossible to tell without more tests. (And none of the women in Salem ever heard of the birth control pill, or even the morning after pill, amazing, huh?) The doctor tells Hope she is going to have to see an OB-GYN, (oh, thank heavens, that cannot be Lexie, can it? LOL ) but that she will schedule an ultra sound.

SAMI’S APT (yawnnnnnnn)

Carrie & Lucas are leaving as Lexie comes in, stopping them as she says they will want to hear what she has to say. Most people would have spit it out right there and then, but nooooo. Sami tries to deflect attention away from herself to no avail. Now, in comes Will, with an “awww, mom, what have you done now?”, followed, of course, by a smirking Kate (who else?) who wants to know, too. Sami tries to talk to Will alone, but he tells Lucas he wants to move back in with him again. Kate is pressuring Lexie to tell her what it is, and Lexie assures her that Sami’s life, as she knows it, is over. Austin & Carrie sit at a table, whispering about what it could be. Yes, folks, everyone will be rolling eyes, and yelling at the TV to just say it, already. Nope, Lucas & Sami now are arguing, as he begs her to tell what she did. They talk a bit of their lives over the years, with Sami reminding him how he always was mooning after Carrie. She talks of seeing her mother sleeping with another man & how it affected her. Austin begs her to tell what she did herself. Now Lexie is talking to Carrie, asking is she is happy with Lucas, and if things were different, would she prefer to with Austin. Carrie gives one of those non-committal answers we all have heard before and hate. Oh, Austin was the past, I have moved on with Lucas, and now am carrying his child. (But unconfirmed by a doctor, Carrie!). Now Will talks with Kate about his mom. Sami finally decides, at Lucas’s urging, that she is going to tell what she did herself. She is asking Austin to try and understand. Austin tells her that he loves her, but until she tells what it is, he is not going to promise anything. Ooops, she has an eyelash in her eye, and has to run off to the bedroom. Now Sami talks to her alter ego in the mirror, at a loss as to what to do. She imagines going out and hitting Lexie over the head with a frying pan as she is about to spill the beans, saying, oops, it was an accident. She finally comes out, ready to tell on herself, but begins to stall again, asking Will to go to his Dad’s apt. as this may get ugly. He refuses, and Lexie finally blurts out that “Sami has been blackmailing me”.

DEVERAUX HOME
We join Jack and Abby talking as he has her in his arms while lying on the bed. He apologizes for all he’s put her and his family through. As he grimaces in pain, she rushes out the door for something that will help.

Downstairs, Kayla tells Steve she’ll tell him whatever he wants to know about his life, family, them. He wants to hear, but doesn’t know where to start about him. She does…she wants to know what happened the day he died! GOOD QUESTION! He has a flashback of a messy room and asks if she really wants to know. She says yes. He says it comes back in brief flashes and he woke up in a dirty motel room. He was dizzy, disoriented and it was like a hangover..but worse. We see him drink melted water from the ice bucket in the motel room. (He’s in a white long sleeved t-shirt and short sleeved grey t-shirt over that…guess he wasn’t buried in that?) He didn’t remember who he was or where he was..but knew he’d been through something pretty rough and was damn lucky to be alive. She asks what he did. He says he looked around the room and found a wallet with $500 in it and a photo ID saying his name was Nick Stockton. No other memories or anything that looked familiar. He went to the address on the ID and it was a run down part of Cincinnati. (so apparently Cincinnati is just a few hours drive from Salem USA ;-) It made the motel room look upscale. Someone ambushed him. He woke up in a hospital room with some blue coats (cops) telling him a neighbor saw him unconscious and he had a nasty gash on his forehead. He didn’t have any idea who he was or why he only had one eye. Kayla can’t imagine how that felt. He said the hospital people were wonderful and he volunteered there to thank them. He eventually went to work there, got a place to live and has been there ever since.

Outside Frankie asks Jennifer what all this means for them after Jennifer tells him Jack came home to say goodbye before he died. She realizes how she unintentionally has ignored him (Frankie) since Jack’s return and he completely understands. She doesn’t and said Jack encouraged him to pursue her and they stood up and were married earlier today. She is his wife. Frankie loves her so much and is so grateful she feels that way and pulls her into a kiss. (I will truly miss Missy Reeves stellar performances when she leaves the show next month!!) She tells Frankie these next few weeks are going to be hard on everyone as they both know she needs to be with Jack. He’s wonderful and understanding as he tells her he’ll be there if she needs anything.

Meanwhile, Abby brings JJ in to see his daddy. Jack holds his son and tells him how this is like a dream come true. We return to Abby determined to search the web about his disease and find a cure. She’ll accept it if she can’t find one, but wants to spend as much time as she can with him. Abby takes JJ to bed and Jack gets up to get some fresh air. He looks out and takes a deep breath and sees Frankie holding Jennifer outside. He shuts the window and returns to the bed.

THE APARTMENTS
Lucas is positive Sami did something wrong, something she isn’t proud of…he knows her. When Austin figures out what it is, he’ll “kick her to the curb for good”. Sami walks away. Lucas tells Austin about Sami’s closet full of wedding gowns, each with their own story (LOL…what’s up with keeping all those..closet space has got to be a premium in an apartment especially!) Lucas doesn’t know WHAT Sami’s done, but knows it has to be something that Austin will object to. Austin stands behind Sami, figuratively and literally. Lucas calls Lexie and asks her to come over to Sami’s apartment …there’s something he’d like her to clear up. We return to find out that Lucas only left a message for Lexie on her machine. Sami remembers her showdown with Lexie at the church threatening to expose her for her part in telling Carrie she and Austin couldn’t have a healthy baby. Sami thanks Austin for trusting her. Lucas picked up that Sami knew about Lexie and Tek’s affair and used it to her advantage. Austin has enough and asks Lucas to leave. Carrie takes Lucas by the hand and leads him to the door. Lucas said Austin is a good guy and might forgive her if she admits what she did wrong. He asks her to fess up as to what Lexie has on her.

HOSPITAL
A repeat of Hope telling Patrick they have to talk about their future. He says it sounds serious and she agrees, but Shawn and company arrive before she can say anymore. Bo follows them in and Shawn tells him it’s all HIS fault. They take their arguing outside Hope’s room and the rest of the lofters follow..leaving Hope and Patrick to talk. He tells her about Bo’s earlier discussion saying she and Bo were reuniting.

Bo and Shawn go into a room and Bo rolls up his sleeves as he tells the nipping Shawn (figuratively) that after he’s been married more than a few weeks he’ll understand that marriages have their ups and downs (guess hanging around getting your eggs harvested isn’t a newlywed tradition?) Bo explains how Hope wasn’t strong enough to hear the truth after Zack died and needed him…so he didn’t tell her. Shawn rants on with the whole chain of events that Bo agrees were wrong, but wasn’t his idea (Billie taking the blame, etc.). The lofters sit outside the room listening uncomfortably. The missing video is mentioned and Bo denies having taken it and determined to find it. Bo’s grateful that Shawn’s so supportive of his mom, but reminds him that he also lost a son and may lose the woman he’s loved all his life. He might try to understand that. Shawn shouts he knows exactly what losing the love of your life is like and Bo needs to move on just like he did. We see Mimi rush off the bench outside the room after hearing that and Philip stops Belle from following her..saying she’s probably the last person Mimi wants with her now. Philip turns and says to himself…”you bastard, you’re still in love with my wife.”
A crying Mimi goes down the stairs of the hospital. Philip asks Belle if she knew that Shawn was still in love with her. Belle tries to assure him it was past tense..but Philip’s got custody of the Salem brain today and knows Shawn said he lost the love of his life.

We return to Shawn still nipping at Bo and telling him Patrick’s been there for Hope since Bo went AWOL, choosing Billie and Chelsea over his wife. Bo admits not being perfect and trying to be there for him and his mom. He loved Zack and he too has been out of his mind in grief. Chelsea is his daughter and he loves his family. Shawn says some more than others…Bo agrees and said Hope, he and Shawn were what he wanted and had..but Chelsea has a lot of time to be made up for. Shawn cites how Bo wanted him to pay the price for breaking the law (when he ran h is motorcycle through the church window). He knew his dad was right for that…but now he just wants to protect Chelsea. His actions toward Hope speak very loudly. Bo said he doesn’t understand the horrible position he was put in as his daughter killed his son and he needed to help his wife as well. Bo doesn’t know how else to explain, and Shawn agrees they’ve said all they can say and leave it at that. Bo disagrees, saying he can’t lose his wife and son. Shawn leaves and says he has to find Mimi. Philip and Belle point the way and Philip tells Belle that Mimi will leave Shawn and Shawn will come back to Belle, wanting her back. What will she do then?

Shawn finds Mimi in a corridor and asks her what’s wrong. She tells him…”you want Belle, you can have her. I want a divorce.”

BACK IN HOPE’S ROOM
Patrick is remembering a sensual scene of him and Hope making love on the island while Hope’s busy talking with a nurse. She asks what he was thinking about and he admits he was thinking about the night they spent together and wonders if it meant anything to her.

Bo returns to hear Hope tells Patrick that night was special to her too…(not knowing Bo was walking up at the time, but Patrick did). Another doctor walks in and said Lexie was called away on an emergency (LOL, yeah…to Sami’s apartment) and has Hope’s test results. Seeing the two men there, she asks if now is a good time, and Hope says yes. The doctor assures her nothing is wrong with her and that the symptoms she had are normal with pregnancy. Oops…cue surprised faces at that news…

We return to the Deveraux home as Jack descends the stairs in the outfit he arrived in. Everyone asks where he’s going and he said back to the hospice to die. Steve holds up the car keys (I think relieved to get out of there) as everyone there says NO.

Lexie arrives at Sami’s apartment and stops Carrie and Lucas from leaving. She says they’ll all want to hear what she has to say…as Sami looks away.

JACK: “What kind of man would I be to stick around?”
FRANKIE: “What kind of man would you be if you don’t?”

STEVE TO KAYLA: “You’re not my wife, not anymore.”

LEXIE (Kate’s there now too): “Do you want to tell everyone what you did, or shall I?”

HOPE (almost in tears) TO BO: “What if this baby isn’t yours?”
BO: “Then Lockhart’s a dead man”…as he hears Patrick walking in and turns and punches him. Patrick stumbles and falls and Billie rushes in telling Bo no and Hope yells STOP IT!.

Summary: I am sorry, I don’t know what the problem was, but my reception was really bad…and I almost lost all audio near the end. But I think I got the general gist of everything…Jack is taken back home…Bo rushes Hope to the hospital…Sami tries to hurry-up her wedding to Austin.


At the Hospital…Bo rushes Hope to the ER (she is out cold). She finally comes to as Bo explains what happened. Patrick shows up as well and Bo isn’t too thrilled to see him there. Lexie asks them to leave as Hope explains to her that she is dizzy. Lexie tells her it could be a number of things and they don’t know for sure yet. In the waiting area, Bo tells Patrick to get the hell out of Hope’s life. Hope talks to Lexie about her marriage and wonders how it could all fall apart (as Lexie has pangs of guilt as well). Bo informs Patrick that he and Hope are on their way to working things out and for him to get lost. Hope can tell that Lexie is upset and asks what is wrong. She finally tells Hope about her affair with Tek and Abe finding out. She swears she loves Abe but she betrayed him and doesn’t blame him for not forgiving her. But, she tells Hope she has the CHOICE to save her marriage. Hope says it isn’t that simple after all that has happened. However, on the other hand, she just can’t stop loving someone that she has loved for over 20 years. Patrick tells Bo he knows nothing about a reconciliation, as Bo tells him his info is just out of date. He tells him that he and Hope have loved each other for over 20 years and they have been through a lot, then tells him to go get a life. Lexie tries to talk Hope into forgiving Bo, she only wishes that Abe could forgive her as well. Hope tells her that they have talked, and she WANTS to forgive him and rush back into his arms, but Zack comes to mind and she is reminded of all the things Bo has done. They talk about Patrick as Hope explains he was there for her when no one else was. Lexie adds, like Tek was there for HER. She asks Hope if she loves Patrick. Patrick assures Bo that if he and Hope are trying to work things out, then he will stay out of the way. While Bo is on the phone, Lexie goes and gets Patrick to talk to Hope. She tells him they need to talk…about their future…as Bo overhears.

Austin, Sami, Lucas & Carrie…return to Sami’s apartment, seemingly bummed because there was no reception and they didn’t get to eat. (LOL). They think they should order pizza. Austin can tell that something is bugging Sami and everyone wonders what is wrong. She tries to explain that it is just all that happened at the wedding. They ask how she learned of Abe and Lexie’s problems and she says Lexie told her after the wedding. She tells them she thinks that all Salem weddings are jinxed and suggests that they just all elope. Carrie says no way and Lucas sides with Carrie. Sami tries to convince Austin to elope with her and points out that all of them have been to the altar too many times. She wants to marry Austin ASAP and begs him to go along with it. He tells her he loves her but wants to have a real wedding in a real church not some Brittney Spears special complete with an Elvis impersonator. Sami says maybe Lucas is right…every wedding she is involved with becomes a disaster. Austin tries to assure her that isn’t true. He offers to hire a wedding planner so she won’t have to be dealing with all that…he just wants to give her the wedding of her dreams. But Sami wants to get hitched immediately…as Lucas wants to know what’s the rush.

The Deveraux Party…arrives at the house. Jo and Abby want him to go to the hospital, but he refuses. Steve, Jennifer and Abby help him upstairs as Jo pulls Kayla aside, telling her how sorry she is for her. Kayla wants to know more but isn’t going to push him. She feels sorry for Jen and they wonder how she can move on. They take Jack into the bedroom to find it decorated for Jen & Frankie. Jack wants to see Jack Jr. (and I think Jen explains he is with a sitter, but will go get him later). Jen feels bad because she has nothing for Jack to wear and Jack says Abby may have something of his. After Jen leaves, Steve tells him he would let him borrow his “jammies” but he doesn’t wear any (LOL). Downstairs, Max and Frankie have a drink as Max asks what will happen between him and Jen now. Jen returns to Jack as Abby and Steve go downstairs to get him something to drink. Alone now, Jack and Jen have a talk (from what I could hear of it…it is a tear-jerker). They talk about when they bought that mattress and trying to get it upstairs. She talks about how she missed him and cried so many times on that bed, soaking her pillow with tears. Downstairs, Jo calls Vern to give him the news. Abby and Steve come down as Frankie asks if her mom is okay. Abby informs him that her MOTHER is upstairs, alone, in the bedroom with her FATHER (ouch). Max urges Frankie to go up there, but he won’t go, saying they need time alone. He says they will talk when she is ready. Jack and Jen talk about who is at fault, with him saying he did what he thought was best for everyone. But she isn’t buying it. He says he made a mistake by coming back, but she says no, his mistake was leaving in the first place. She asks what are they supposed to do now and he says to just let him die. Downstairs, Steve stops and stares at Kayla, which prompts her to ask if he remembers anything. He says no, but she is just so pretty…if he WAS married to her, he was a lucky man. Jo slips out of the room to let them talk and he tells Kayla that he had given up searching for his past years ago and had accepted that he would never know the truth. She tells him that any questions he has, she will answer, all he has to do is ask. But she has one for him as well…WHAT exactly happened to him the day he supposedly died? Jack tries to explain to Jen that he didn’t want her and Abby to see him suffer…he wanted them to remember the Jack Deveraux that they loved. She says he IS the Jack Deveraux she loves and he always will be as they hug. He talks about being afraid to die but she tries to assure him that someday, they will be together forever. He asks about Frankie, and she explains that she does love him, but it’s different. Jack says he didn’t WANT to leave them, he just felt he had no choice. He tells her that Frankie is a good man and she needs him…and wants her to love him and raise his family in a house of love. She leaves to let him rest. Later Abby comes back with a book that he used to read to her. She swears that they will be there for him.

Jen (now changed out of her wedding dress) finds Frankie out back as they talk about Jack. She apologizes for what happened, but he stops her, telling her he is happy that both Jack and Steve are live…even though their timing was off. He asks her what does all this mean for us…as we see a split screen of Jen, Jack and Frankie’s faces as the previews show…

Lexie (to Sami, in front of Austin, Lucas and Carrie): I’ve been waiting a long time for this…you’ll want ot hear what I have to say…

Bo (to Shawn): I’m going through hell right now…You might try to understand that. (Shawn): I know exactly how it feels to lose the love of your life…believe me, I know how that feels (cut to Mimi)…

Frankie (to Jen): If you need anything…I am here…you know that, right? (as Jack listens from the bedroom window)…

Loved this show, it's one you don't want to miss!! Most of the show is the reunions with Steve and Jack and their friends and family and Lexie and Sami's mini showdown and minor scenes of the egg harvesting (thankfully)


THE HOSPITAL
The loft dwellers arrive at the hospital for their urgent egg harvesting (give me a break). All are hoping their eggs will be harvested. Philip wants another baby just like Claire and Mimi comments without thinking that the last thing she needs is to have Shawn have another baby with another woman again. Of course she rationalizes she meant a surrogate like Holly and he believes her. They meet this vunder doctor as both Mimi and Belle go into meet with him (together?) Shawn and Philip chat while they wait (yawn). Philip feels bad he can’t get Belle pregnant (and they’ve been trying how long now?) Shawn laughs it would be funny if Belle and him were the only ones of the 4 who could have babies. Shawn has to calm Philip down after Philip reminds him Belle and he already have a daughter.

The girls sit in adjoining beds, talking about their harvesting experience. Belle tries to remain positive and Mimi calls her Little Miss Sunshine, which she hadn’t since jr. high. Belle reminds Mimi her life hasn’t always been that way and reminds her about Philip’s leg, Claire’s almost dying, etc.

The guys rush in when they see the doctor going in to see their wives and the doctor tells them they harvested many eggs from Belle and only one from Mimi. Mimi’s discouraged and even more so as the doctor said they have to test to make sure the egg is even viable. Shawn comforts Mimi as she wished she was lucky like Belle.

ST LUKES
Austin and Lucas talk. Lucas feels for Jennifer and hopes Carrie isn’t worried about his seeing her wedding gown. He asks Austin what made him change his mind about Sami. Austin is determined to have a wife and family and will have that with Sami. Lucas isn’t as convinced and hopes this doesn’t blow up at the altar…again. Austin comments to Lucas he’s marrying Carrie and having a family…why is he so worried about him? Lucas just is worried that Sami’s not the woman for Austin and has Austin seen the way Sami looks at EJ? Lucas asks Austin if Carrie had chosen to marry him, would Austin even think about marrying Sami? Austin admits if Carrie had chosen him that they’d be engaged and she’d be pregnant with his baby. Sami overhears. Lucas is happy Carrie chose him, but is sorry that Austin got caught up in Sami’s web again. He leaves to be with Carrie. Sami shuts the church door and breaks down. She looks inside and sees a sad Austin sitting there.

Earlier, Lexie cornered Sami outside the church and threatens her. Sami denies leaving the note, but Lexie doesn’t believe her and threatens to expose her and promises Sami will lose her bright future with Austin. Sami reminds Lexie SHE’S the one who broke her marriage vows, not her. She had as much to lose and didn’t do it. Lexie is so full of revenge she doesn’t care…she’s free to expose what Sami had her do to Carrie (Sami should warn her that she’d probably risk losing her doctor’s license next for deliberately lying to a patient). Sami blatantly tells Lexie she’ll make sure she doesn’t tell anyone. Lexie isn’t worried and enjoys verbally tormenting Sami, continuing to threaten her. Sami tells Lexie she’s a doctor and suppose to have compassion. Lexie says she does, for everyone but her. She’s going to tell Austin what she’s done and no one will forgive her. She heads towards the church , but Frankie rushes up to Lexie, saying Jack needs her (see below) Lexie stares at Sami, but rushes to Jack.

Inside the church, Jennifer and Jack continue their talk as Jennifer tells him she doesn’t want him dying alone. A replay of him telling them about Steve, especially Jo. She cries in his arms after learning both her sons came back to her. They wonder where Steve is. They wonder if he found Kayla outside. Chelsea tells Abby (and Max) about the supposedly crank call that morning from Jack. Abby can’t believe she didn’t tell her about it.

IN THE CEMETARY, Kayla and Steve chat and a replay of her laying a big kiss on him. Steve isn’t protesting, in fact he’s rubbing her back and neck while they kiss (hubba hubba!!!!) He says the kiss was good, and he “went with it”, but it didn’t bring back his memory. He said it was a beautiful kiss and doesn’t know how any man could forget her. If it was him, he knows how much he must have hurt her over all these years. He can’t give her false hope….and apologizes (cancel those plane tickets to Africa Kayla!) He tells her that he’s Nick Stockton, a hospice orderly and gets by (barely), but he’s not the man she thinks he is. The church group rushes out and Jo rushes up to her son..oh man..have the Kleenex ready! She hugs him and realizes he does have amnesia when he assumes who she is. He recognizes Jennifer and Abby from Jack’s locket and apologizes for breaking up her wedding. He sees Frankie in a tux and figures he must be the groom, calling him Frank. Frankie’s surprised that he knew who he is, but Steve explains Jack’s telling him how he wanted Jennifer and Frankie to be together after he’s “gone”. Frank introduces Max and says Steve was responsible for him and Max getting a family with the Bradys. Kayla introduces Steve to Ma and Pa. Frankie tells Steve he use to call him Franklin and Max, Maxwell. Bo walks up saying Steve had a penchant for long names and use to call him Beauregard (oh, I love it when they don’t remake history…I can remember Steve calling all of them that, like Jack as Jackson!!..thank you writers!!) He says he’s Kay’s brother and tells Steve how they met in the Merchant Marines and were best friends.

Hope touches Steve as she introduces herself. She says they all love and care for him and he will feel that love even though he doesn’t remember it right now. Steve laughs saying like she knows what he’s going through. She smiles and says she did and she did find her way back to the man she loved and it wasn’t easy..it was almost like destiny..almost. Jen hugs her from behind and Steve sits next to Jack saying softly…”man, this is one wacked out berg you live in here…” (so Steve!) Jack welcomes him home and Jo sits next to Steve on the bench. She doesn’t know how much Jack told him, but she gave him up as a baby to have a better life and they were reunited when he was an adult. God brought him back to her twice now and she’s not going to lose him again. She hugs him as Nick looks uncomfortable, but doesn’t fight her (awww)

Jennifer finds Kayla, who is freaking about what all Steve was doing all these years, like when she was in medical school. Jennifer suggests she ask him. She tells Kayla that Steve doesn’t love anyone else and she’s the great love of Steve’s life, like she is of Jack’s..and feels so bad how they’ve hurt Frankie.

Jack privately apologizes to Frankie for ruining their wedding day. Frankie says every day is precious and not to worry about it. Jack hopes this little detour doesn’t change Frankie’s mind about marrying Jen. Jack winces in pain and Frankie holds him, asking what’s wrong. Jack doesn’t want his family to see him this way.

Hope sits on the bench and Bo kneels in front of her with a red rose. He reminds her it was like the one in her wedding bouquet. He tells her it was touching what she told Steve and asks if she believes it was destiny that brought them back together? She tells him she believed it then and Bo said it was their love that brought her back to him and gave them Shawn and Zack. She has a flashback of her saying her vows to Bo in London (LOL at his hair and beard then) and citing the poem to him, saying how young she was when she met him and angry he called her little one. (her voice is so different back then) and how standing there in front of everyone she gives herself to him for all eternity and proud to be his wife. Another flashback of a different time when he cited his vows to her (Maison Blanche?) He asks Fancy Face for another chance so he can spend the rest of his life giving her all his love.

Lexie arrives and wants to take Jack to the hospital for some tests. Jack refuses and says no more hospitals….he just wants to go home …. If that’s all right. Jennifer says of course it is and Abby just wants him to get better and she believes in miracles. Jack hugs Jennifer and Abby saying this is a miracle right here. Steve wants to go with them, that’s why he’s there. He puts Jack’s arm around him and Kayla wants to go too, but Steve tells her no, they’ve got it…and he’ll see her around. Kayla and Frankie sit rejected on the bench and Kayla says no one has a happy ending.

Hope smells the rose Bo gave her and says they’re so delicate but survive storms, don’t they? He gets closer, her eyes get glazed over and she passes out in his arms…dropping the rose to the ground as it stays red while everything else goes to black and white…

ON THE NEXT DAYS OF OUR LIVES

SAMI TO AUSTIN: “I know what I want..and I want to marry you. Please say yes.”

STEVE TO KAYLA: “Now that I’m here, all those questions are coming back and I need answers.”

FRANKIE TO JENNIFER: “I gotta ask. What does this mean…for us?”

HOPE (lying in bed): “We need to talk, about our future”.
PATRICK: “That does sound serious”
…as Bo watches from the sidelines….

Summary: Linda was right, for those that read the spoilers at Salem Place. The short scenes between Jack and his family and Steve and Kayla are very emotional. Have tissues handy! The rest of the show is the Loft group and the apartment group. Sami is worried about the damage Lexie could cause, and Mimi is worried about losing Shawn.

AT LOFT #1, Belle, Claire and Shawn are running late. They are not planning to go to the wedding, but figure Jen and Frankie won’t be upset as long as they make it to the reception. Claire gets fussy (she’s teething). Shawn is able to calm her down, which impresses Belle. Belle is really impressed with how he got Claire to go to sleep. She is convinced that he would make a great dad – someday. She talks to him about family. She tells him that she wishes she and Phillip had a chance to solidify their marriage before they had a baby. She doesn’t want him to rush into it. He is sure that they are ready. They want to bring a new life into the world. Just like her and Phillip and his parents used to be, they are committed and ready. He wonders if Mimi and Phillip are ready yet – or they won’t make it to the reception either. Belle reassures Shawn that things between her and Phillip are strong and ready for another baby. Shawn tells her that he and Mimi are ready to, and can’t wait.

MEANWHILE, AT LOFT #2: Mimi whines to Phillip, that as long as she is unable to have a baby, Shawn will leave her, and as soon as he is single, Belle will leave him and it will all be her fault. Phillip promises her he will not allow it to happen. Mimi keeps on with her pity party. She is still convinced that Shawn would leave her for being unable to give him a child of his own, and that the moment he is single, Belle would run. Phillip is convinced that Belle would never leave him and Shawn would never leave her, no matter what happens. He calls someone to convince Mimi that it would never happen. Phillip was talking to a research doctor who is willing to look at Mimi’s chart and help her out. He has another procedure that may work better for her. Mimi is happy about the prospect of having her own child after all, and maybe this doctor can help Philip and Belle, too. Phillip thinks it might be possible, too. Maybe Claire could have a little brother or sister after all. Mimi thinks he has a problem. Mimi tells him that even though this doctor may be able to harvest more eggs than the old one did, she still probably won’t be able to carry to term, which means she still needs a surrogate. After the disaster of the other one, she may not be able to find one. Turns out, Phillip is ahead of her there, too. He got the Kiriakis Foundation working on it and found her the perfect candidate – totally screened and waiting for contact.

Phillip and Mimi come back (to loft #1) as Belle apologizes for taking so long. Phillip says its okay, as they aren’t going to the reception anyway, they are going to the hospital. Mimi is excited about both couples getting babies soon.


BACK AT THE CHURCH: Everyone is cheering as Jen and Frankie are pronounced married. She hugs Frankie, and looks back to see Jack in the doorway. In stunned disbelief they stand there staring. Abby rushes over and hugs him, vowing that she always knew he was alive and that mom shouldn’t have married Frankie, but remained faithful. Jen asks what is going on, as the crowd turns to stare at Jack and at each other. He walks up the aisle and starts to apologize since he had no idea that it was their wedding, as he came to light a candle and say a prayer. He addresses her and she passes out in Frankie’s arms. Jack remembers being pulled from the car by a fishing boat, who joked about him being the catch of the day, but Jen says that all the boats denied it. Jen wanted to know why he didn’t call her. He told her that he was at the house at Christmas to check on her, which infuriates her.
Jen can’t believe he can still be dying, or he wouldn’t have come back just to say goodbye. Jo feels the same way. Jack is positive he shouldn’t have come back, and he wants to leave again. They want him to stay, but he can’t do that to them. He is glad that they got married and have each other when he finally dies. He is worried that he came in and interrupted too soon. Jen reassures him that they said, “I do,” but Frankie reminds him that by being alive, he has made the marriage null and void. Jack is bothered by that, “I guess I always did have lousy timing.” Abby keeps telling Jack about telling her mom that she should have waited for Jack, that they belong together, but Jack tells her that they don’t belong together, not anymore, as Jen turns and puts a hand on Frankie’s shoulder. Jack corrects Abby. He wants Jen and Abby to be a family with Frankie. He is still dying, and only has a couple days left. He came back to say good-bye. Jen tells him that she still loves him and he is not going to die alone. He will be there with them, not with strangers. Jack tells them that he didn’t come back by choice, but with someone else. He apologizes to Jo for not telling her before now, but he came back with Steve, his brother. Jen reminds him that Steve is dead, but Jack tells them all that he is alive and well and right outside. (Frankie looks like he is in shock this whole time – he doesn’t say much, and doesn’t look like he is believing most of it).


Carrie mentions giving them some privacy, so they get up to leave (of course, everyone else stays). Lexie follows them out, vowing to make Sami pay for telling Abe about her and Tek (she is well behind them and talking to herself). Sami is upset that the limo is gone, and Lucas explains that he sent Gran and Maggie home first. Sami doesn’t understand why they couldn’t all go. They all want to know why Sami is so upset. She breaks the news about Lexie and Abe’s marriage, and him finding her with Tek. Lucas wants to know why she cares so much about their marriage. She is concerned for Abe and Theo. Abe is like family, and Lexie is a DiMera – sister to Tony and daughter to Stephano. She has cheated, been caught and forgiven once, who knows what she is capable of lying about now? She can’t be trusted for anything anymore. Austin thinks he knows what is going on. Austin is sure that Lucas’ threat that something bad would happen if she showed up, was bothering her, but it wasn’t her doing. She should be totally able to identify with Jennifer – as she’s been in her shoes. Theo’s situation is upsetting her, because she was his age when she lost her parents. Lucas tries to butt in, but Austin turns and tells him to shut up and goes on about how Sami is probably feeling. Sami is grateful that he understands, as she wasn’t even sure she did.

Carrie and Austin have separated from Lucas and Sami. Carrie is glad that Austin and Sami’s relationship is working out. He is good for her. Austin thinks that Sami is good for him, too. Carrie confesses that she feels rushed with Lucas and doesn’t Austin and Sami to feel the same. Carrie wants to know if he loves Sami. Austin does love her, but Carrie interjects but she isn’t the love of your life. Austin reminds her that she is the love of his life, but she chose Lucas and he has to accept that. Yes, he does love Sami, but in a different way and his future is with her, and Carrie’s with Lucas.

Lucas wants to know if Austin was right about why Sami was upset, maybe she is really worried about her own wedding. She is adamant that she and Austin are going to live happily ever after and there is nothing that Lucas or anyone else can do to stop her. Lucas isn’t so sure. Lucas thinks she is acting defensive because she is desperate. She is up to something and afraid to lose everything. Sami thinks about all their lives being destroyed if she can’t keep Lexie’s big mouth shut.



TEK goes to check on Lexie, and she scolds him for following her. Lexie can’t wait to expose Sami. Tek wants to know what she is waiting for. She knows it’s coming, so why not now? He wants to see it. Abe catches them and is angry. Abe and Tek face off. Maybe Abe can’t fire him for making his wife his whore, but he better watch his steps carefully. All it will take is one small mistake (punching out five minutes early, leaving a coffee cup in his car, etc.), and he will have his badge. If he touches his wife one more time, he is a dead man. Abe sends Tek away and tells him to stay away from both him and Lexie. He leaves and Abe goes back to confronting Lexie. Lexie says that Sami Brady is going to pay for this, but he says Sami didn’t jump into bed with Tek, she did. She will be hearing from his lawyer.



BO WANTS TO TALK to Hope, as the wedding is obviously over. She thinks it can wait as Frankie and Jen will need them. They leave, as Chelsea mutters under breath to hurry up and get divorced already. Max comments on the situation and how much it would hurt Frankie. Chelsea is happy for Abby, but still bothered. Bo asks Hope again for time together. She wants to be there for Jen and for Jack, which he understands, but asks for time for them, too.

Chelsea and Max discuss the situation. Frankie knew that Jack was Jen’s one true love, but she is going to lose him again. He turns it back on her and asks about them – has she given any thought to where their own relationship stands?


KAYLA FREAKS OUT OVER STEVE. (She is in or near tears the entire episode. Very moving!!!) She held him in her arms, picked out his casket and buried him (she even points to his grave). He didn’t want to scare her, but he doesn’t know any of that. He mentions that she looks just like the photo – which prompts her to ask: Doesn’t he remember her? How could he not know her? They had a life and a baby together. He apologizes for not remembering her or Stephanie (Kayla tells him her name, how she was named after him and was his life). She was a baby who adored him, but now she is all grown up and he missed her entire life. He thinks it is impossible and a mistake, he can’t be that guy. His name is Nick Stockton and he had a life and a job at a hospice a couple of hours drive away. A couple days ago a patient swore he recognized him and it blew him away. He was talked into a DNA test that proved he was this Steve Johnson and the patient’s brother. Kayla is almost as blown away by the fact that Jack is also alive and came back to Salem, too. Steve tells her about how Jack is still sick and how he and the doctor tried to talk to him, but he was sure of what he wanted. He only came home because of Steve and wanting him to reconnect with the family. He tells her that he wasn’t expecting her, but he still doesn’t know her, or anyone else in Salem. Jack told him about the Brady family and Kayla, and showed him a picture, and she was pretty, but he doesn’t know her. She tells him about her feelings after he died – that she loved him so much, that she could never move on after losing him. She is upset for Jennifer, finding Jack and losing him again. She runs and grabs Steve and tells him that she is not going to lose him again. He puts her back and apologizes, sorry it isn’t going to work. Kayla shows him a whole bunch of pictures of them together, to try to jog his memory. A few days ago he was happy with who he was, but now he suddenly has a wife and a kid and a dying brother. It’s a lot to adjust to, and he is not sure if he wants to. He doesn’t want to hurt her, she has been through a lot already, but what if he never remembers? What if his old life is one he doesn’t want? How does he know if it’s the life he wants or not, if he doesn’t remember it? He doesn’t think it will be easy to remember. Jack tried by telling him stories and showing him pictures. She is sure he didn’t try this – and pulls him into the biggest kiss ever (WHOA!! – Swooning, then doing happy dance!!!!!)

Austin to Lucas: If Carrie chose me, boom, I would ask her to marry me and then she would be pregnant with my baby right now. (as Sami’s head comes peeking around the door).

You are all invited to the wedding of Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux & Francois Henri Von Leurschner Brady, as St. Luke’s is location of nearly all the scenes today. The wedding is the background as we see how it affects various Salemites. A well-acted episode, kudos to the cast!

LUCAS, CARRIE & AUSTIN are yelling for Sami & Will to get a move on or they are going to be late for the wedding. Will comes out needing an adjustment to his tie. Sami fixes it, as Will asks her if she is sure she wants to go to the wedding, with her bad karma, something is bound to go wrong. Sami assures him Jennifer & Frankie will have a beautiful wedding, while Lucas is saying the same thing about Sami to Austin & Carrie, but Austin tells him to put a lid on it. Will’s comments have Sami imagining her getting married to Austin, and just as they are about to be pronounced man & wife, Lexie bursts in, ranting about Sami blackmailing her into telling Carrie she & Austin would have a child with birth defects……and then Sami imagines Austin, Carrie & Lucas all yelling at her, and Will telling her her never wants to see or speak to her. She shakes herself out of her daydream.

AT THE CHURCH, Abe looks across the aisle at Lexie, who remembers Abe bursting in on her & Tek in the motel, & vows Sami is going to pay. Tek enters and sits behind her (how obvious can he get). Max tries to calm down a nervous Frankie, Caroline assures Shawn she is too happy to cry, while Kayla reassures Bo that all will be well for him & Hope. Chelsea whines about the A/C breaking down & it is too hot, while Jo tries to cheer up the very obviously discontented Abby, & Maggie tells Alice she hopes Abby doesn’t make a scene. The music begins, and Hope comes down the aisle, goes to stand at the altar as Bo beams at her, and she remembers her wedding to Bo, while Kayla is also remembering her wedding to Steve. The wedding march begins, and Jen comes down the aisle, stops & kisses Alice (THAT is a very touching moment, just wonderful it was included). As Jen & Frankie stand together, and the priest begins to recite the ceremony, Kayla has flashes of memories of her & Patch – making love, holding baby Stephanie, having a picnic – and it overwhelms her. She whispers to Caroline she has to step out as it is too hot. Abby watches her mother and is very unhappy.

OUTSIDE, we have a replay of Jack & Steve arriving at the church, Jack asking Steve if he remembers getting married there. Steve says nothing looks familiar to him. Now Jack is nervous about seeing his family again, realizing after talking to Chelsea, what a shock it will be for everyone. He wants to go light a candle, say a prayer, and Steve says that can’t hurt.

Kayla sits inside, alone, commenting on how much she still misses Steve, then hears a creaking noise. It is Roman. They hug, but within a minute or two, Kayla is talking about Steve and begins to cry, then runs outside. Lexie has gone outside for a minute, followed by Tek, telling him she is sure it was Sami and she is going to blow the whistle. Jack has brought Steve into the garden, telling him this is where he & Kayla exchanged vows, then mentions it is also where his funeral was held. Jack FINALLY wonders what happened back then, since Patch is very much still alive. Steve says he would like to know, too (YES, guys, get to work together and solve that mystery for us! LOL Can’t wait!) Jack wants to go inside, but Steve realizes a wedding is in progress. Jack goes up to the door, seeing the flowers, Jen’s favorite flowers, then gets weak, and begins perspiring. Patch comes up, getting the overwhelmed Jack to sit down. Steven wanders off. We see Kayla at Steve’s grave, murmuring how she still misses him. She finds Zack’s headstone, and wonders why those we love so much are taken from us. Steve finds his headstone, and aloud wonders about Steven Earl Johnson. Jack begins to look in the church window, and suddenly faints. Just then the apartment dwellers arrive with Will, all rushing inside, not noticing Jack on the ground. Tek grabs Sami, letting her know that she is going to pay for blackmailing Lexie. Sami claims she has done nothing, that Abe doesn’t know, but Tek tells her that indeed he does. Sami is shocked, and Tek warns her that it is over, as Lexie is going to tell everyone what she did.

BACK INSIDE, Hope & Bo are constantly exchanging rather loving looks, Abe tells Roman he & Lexie are splitting up, and how he caught her cheating again. Roman seems surprised, but wonders if it cannot be patched up. Abe assures him Lexie is incapable of fidelity and it is over. The ceremony is going on all this time, and little conversations are had here and there. Austin wonders where Sami is. Frankie & Jennifer each make individual speeches to each other, with Frankie talking of how long he has loved her, will always love her, how sorry for the circumstances that made it possible for him to realize his dream, etc. Jennifer talks of how Jack gave his blessing for them, of her late grandfather and what he taught her, and then thanks her grandmother, who is responsible for her being the woman she is today. Everyone claps, except for Abby, who sits with arms folded, looking rather dour. The looks between Bo & Hope have Bo thinking to himself that they ARE going to get back together. Finally Frankie & Jen exchange vows (this is where the priest calls him Francois Henri, they exchange rings, and are finally pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Francois Von Leuschner Brady (I thought the actor was promised that name would never come up??) Lexie is begging Abe to forgive her, but Abe just looks ahead, ignoring her. He finally tells her he will never forgive her, it is over. Music starts up.

Outside, Patch is standing at his headstone. Kayla, on the bench, asks aloud where Steve is, then imagines Steve being there, saying quietly I’m still here, here in your heart. Suddenly she hears a voice saying “I’m still here”, & she jumps up, looking around. She thinks she must be hearing things, and now imagines marrying Steve in this garden. Jack, laying on the grass, is remembering marrying Jennifer. He hears music, one of Jen’s favorites (Canon in D Major) and jumps up, going to the church door.

Kayla is crying, and Patch comes up behind her, asking if he “can help you, miss”. Kayla is startled, knowing the voice is so familiar. (Be still my heart here, folks). She turns, sees him, says “Steve”, and faints, with Steve catching her, and getting her to the bench. He touches her face, and says “Kayla”. (oh, man, I get goose bumps just typing this) Back inside, Jack has opened the church door, and sees Jennifer & Frankie up on the altar. He begins to walk towards them. They have just been pronounced man & wife, and Jennifer is hugging Frankie, and over his shoulder, sees Jack. She says his name aloud, as Jack begins to walk up the aisle. Frankie turns around. Close up of the shocked look on Jennifer’s face, freeze frame……..and the previews show……..

Belle to Shawn: When two people love each other, nothing can come between them , & nothing can keep them apart in the end.

Hope to Bo: Your brother is going to need you, & Jen is going to need me. We can’t leave, not now.

Chelsea, with Max standing behind her, says petulantly: why don’t you two just shut up & get divorced

Kayla, hugging Steve: I’m not gonna let you go

Steve: This is not gonna work - camera now on a sobbing Kayla, hand over her mouth, saying “NO”

It’s a new day in Salem as the wedding party and guests make their way to the church, despite their own problems at hand.

THE CROWDED APARTMENT BUILDING
Ej’s doing his morning pushups (shirtless) while listening to music (or perhaps a book on tape? Nah) He remembers dancing with Sami and smiles.

Across the hall we see Austin (shirtless of course) and Sami. She’s checking out the photo proofs, reassuring Austin she’d rather be with him, but it’s nice being with EJ who doesn’t know her past. She steps in the hall to get the newspaper and sees EJ looking at his paper in his doorway. Lucas also opens his door (shirtless of course too) and warns EJ about Sami and best guy finishes last. Carrie rushes out and chastises him, saying that’s not fair as Sami eavesdrops from behind her open door (think I’d be moving..too darn crowded there!) EJ tells Lucas he’s a big boy and asks Sami to come out from behind her door. She does so, as does Austin (who’s now dressed) and the whole gang gathers in the hallway as Sami says she’s not going to the wedding, but Austin says she is. He tells her to go get dressed and she does so reluctantly. Austin invites EJ over to see the proofs and he accepts after he gets dressed. Lucas (munching on toast) and Carrie say they want to see them too and he walks in and picks up the proofs (he IS the competition, isn’t he?). He warns Austin that there’s some serious chemistry going on with these two (Sami and EJ in the pictures) as EJ walks up (now in t-shirt) listening. Carrie urges Lucas to get dressed after Sami walks in (wow, she’s FAST) all dressed and made up..looking gorgeous. EJ admires how great Sami looks in the photos, a natural. Carrie and Austin chat in the kitchen area as she tells him she can tell he loves Sami. He knows he has to let Sami be Sami and she has changed. He thinks trouble is behind them. Carrie figures accepting Sami is the way to go and Lucas walks in not agreeing..but looking very handsome in his suit. The trio watch Sami laughing with EJ while looking at the pictures.

CARVER HOME
We find Lexie crying in front of her mantel as Abe carries Theo out after breakfast. He tells him Celeste will be there to take him to the park as he and Lexie have to go to a wedding. (Theo’s being shy today and we hear Theo ask Abe why he can’t take him to the park..but his back is to the camera…guessing they recorded his voice at different time, haha) Abe takes him upstairs to get dressed and Celeste arrives, admiring the beautiful day for a wedding. Lexie tells her that Abe found out about her and Tek. Lexie asks how he found out and Abe walks in and tells her about the note as Lexie continues to boo hoo. He tells his adulterous wife to say where she was last night and warns Celeste this is between him and Lexie. She asks where Theo is and goes to get him. Abe said he’d see her at the church and she asks for a ride (thought it was walking distance?). He tells her if she needs a ride to call her lover and leaves (atta boy!). Celeste shuts the door behind Abe and can’t believe who would tell Abe on her. Lexie says it had to be Sami and Celeste knows Sami would do it, but had said she wouldn’t. Lexie is angry and said Sami ruined her marriage and perhaps she’s losing her son too…(no…YOU did this to yourself Lexie) She vows to make Sami lose everyone who cares about her and hopes she’s at that wedding and storms out as Celeste looks worried.

(Here’s MY GUESS on the situation….my theory is the gloved hand was Kate…who knew Sami had something on Lexie but didn’t know what. Perhaps she saw Lexie and Tek kissing in front of the pub when she arrived for the shower and followed them to the motel….then slipped back to the shower to leave Abe that anonomous note leading him to the motel, knowing Lexie and Tek would accuse Sami of doing it? That way Sami would get retaliation…but not from her.)

While Theo plays video games, Celeste whips out her tarot cards and shocked that others will be affected in Salem.

HORTON CABIN
Bo wakes up on the couch and groggily opens the front door to get a cell signal. He finds Hope sleeping in the chair there. He wakes her up and she doesn’t feel well. He says she looks pale and helps her inside before rushing to make coffee. Hope remembers today is Jenn’s wedding. He asks why she slept there all night and she says she couldn’t leave him. He asks her not to shut the door on them and she’s the last person he’d want to hurt. Hope rushes out, not wanting to be late for Jenn’s wedding as Bo follows..saying he’ll get her there on time.

DEVERAUX HOME
Max is shocked to see Frankie there. He came to get his tux (slung over his shoulder) and not worried about old wives tale of seeing each other before the wedding. Max tells Frankie about wanting to be exclusive with Chelsea, expecting discouragement from his big brother. He tells him he found a girl that’s not into him for once and Pop Shawn arrives to hurry them into their tuxes.

Inside Kayla is helping a nervous Jen with breakfast. Abby and Chelsea join them (both pretty glum) and Jen follows Abby to have a chat. Kayla asks Chelsea to chat too (who looks very cute in her teal dress and glittery hair. Kayla assures Chelsea that everyone doesn’t hate her, citing Max. She steps away as the caterer brings boxes of booze in for the reception and Chelsea opens a bottle of vodka smiling. She fills her purse flask to get her through the day.

Ding dong…the bells rings and Kayla opens it…saying the surprising words…It’s you! LOL. It’s her mother in law, Jo Johnson. She says it’ll be hard watching her sons widow marrying another man. She’s so happy to see Kayla again and Kayla rushes on about having to leave for a trip to Africa soon. She tells her that Stephanie is doing great. Jo says Vern is traveling a lot lately, but they hoped to fly out and visit them. Jo is welcome by Abby and Jennifer. Kayla and Jen rush upstairs to get Jen finished dressing. Jo tells Abby she misses Jack too, but is happy for her mom. The reality is her dad isn’t there any more and her mom needs her. Abby says she likes Frankie. He’s a nice guy. He loves her mom she knows. Abby says it’s wrong and she’ll never accept this marriage though. Out of the blue Alice tells her she’s making a mistake and will live to regret it. Maggie is with her (where did they come from?)

ON THE ROAD TO SALEM
Steve is driving Jack home to see his “wife and kiddies”. Jack reminds him that Steve will see Kayla too (did they confirm she’s in Salem?) Jack knows it’s going to be a shock for Jennifer and asks if Steve has a cellphone so he can call her first. The phone rings and Chelsea answers it. Jack asks who it is and he says it’s Jack and he needs to speak with Jennifer. Chelsea is shocked and looking at the wedding cake centerpiece just brought in, says Jennifer’s busy and she’ll give her a message. Jack rambles on about he’s coming home and bringing his brother Steve with him. Chelsea doesn’t believe him (asking if he’s the one that looks like Johnny Depp in the movie) and hangs up. Abby walks in and she tells Abby it was a prankster and glad she didn’t answer it. It appears she really believes that’s the case. Abby heads up to get dressed and Chelsea takes the phone off the hook in case that psycho calls back. Jack tries calling back (doesn’t Jen have a cell phone?) and Steve asks who Chelsea is. Steve says they’ll just have to be surprised. Steve announces the next exit is Salem.

ST. LUKES
Max (holding his tux over his shoulder) sees Abby and Chelsea arrive. He said he’d understand if she wanted to date others and she asks for time to figure it all out. He heads inside. Bo and Hope arrive (fast trip home and they’re all dressed to boot) and she rushes in to see Jennifer as he talks to Chelsea. She asks if they’re back together and he feels encouraged. Hope rushes in and tells the gals Bo kidnapped her last night. Ma, Kayla and Jenn ask if she heard Bo out and Hope doesn’t want to talk about that now. Jenn slips out of her robe and Maggie helps Alice in (who’s looking pretty feeble, poor dear). Alice asks where the bride is and Jennifer steps around the corner in her slim gown, looking beautiful. Maggie comments that Jack would be proud and Jennifer hopes so, as it was his idea and she wants him to give her away.

Later it’s just Caroline, Jen, Hope and Kayla. Caroline and Kayla head out to be seated as Hope wishes Jennifer well and to enjoy the day. She hopes Frankie’s heart can take it when he sees Jenn come down the aisle.

Steve and Jack arrive at St. Lukes. He asks “Jackson” why they stopped there and Jack says it’s where he and Kayla got married. He asks if it looks familiar. Steve says no. Jack notices something going on and suggests they check it out. Steve knows Jack is stalling, nervous about reappearing from the dead. (no late arrivals see them standing there?) Steve finally agrees and goes to the church as Jack gazes at his locket. He says he’ll see her soon.

A lot of extras are at the wedding as people are seated. Jo comforts Abby (why isn’t she in her mom’s wedding?) who says it was too soon for her mom to remarry (maybe that’s why, haha). Abe arrives and finds a seat. Lexie is searching for Sami, wanting to make her pay for what happened. Caroline and Pop Shawn arrive and sit down in front. Bo is waiting for Hope and Jen to come out of the brides room. He tells Hope he can’t wait for their talk later and gives Jen a kiss on the cheek, telling her she looks amazing (which she does) and to be happy. He goes to find his seat and Jen tells Hope she hopes she listens to him…but Hope sushes her and says today is HER day. They tells each other I love you once again and Hope walks down the aisle and turns at the altar to watch for Jennifer. Jennifer looks up and says “wish me luck Jack” as the screen splits as we see Jack standing outside looking at the locket….as the previews roll…

TEK TO SAMI: “You’re going down Sami. Lexie’s going to blow you out of the water right here in front of everybody.”

BO (looking at Hope): “She’s coming back to me. I know it.” Hope looks over at Bo.

JENNIFER to FRANKIE (vows): “I am yours and I am going to love you all the days of our lives.”

JACK standing at the door saying softly…”Jennifer?”

KAYLA turns and says “Steve”? as we see Steve looking at someone…(this scene is in black and white..so not sure if it’s her thinking of Steve or actually seeing him…)

Summary: Lexie & Tek’s little party comes to an abrupt halt…Jennifer prepares for her wedding as Jack and Nick take a detour…Sami makes a splash at dancing the Tango…Bo decides that the only way to get Hope to listen to him is to abduct her…and Max reaches out to Chelsea. Thumbs up performances from James Reynolds and Renee Jones (Abe & Lexie).

At the No-Tell Motel…Lexie and Tek are going at it like there’s no tomorrow when Abe walks in and turns on the lights. Caught with her hand in the cookie jar, Lexie immediately starts stammering and Tek tries to explain. But Abe has murder in his eyes and punches Tek as Lexie screams. Abe throws him on the bed and is on top of him strangling him as Lexie jumps on Abe’s back. Abe yells that he should take out his gun and just shoot Tek where he deserves it. This gets Tek’s attention as he stays quiet for most of the time. Abe demands to know when they started sleeping together. Without letting her get a word in edge-wise, Abe rips her a new a-hole, as she sobs uncontrollably. Lexie whimpers that it all started when he got back from the island. He says he had his suspicions but hated himself for even thinking it. He says he feels so hurt and betrayed by both of them. He tells them that Celeste had said all along that Tek was a predator, but he chose to not believe her. He says he should have know that his wife would never change…she was never satisfied with him. First she cheated on him with his brother Jonah…then with his son, Brandon….now HIM. (Oh man, James is rocking it here). He says at least she could have the decency to find someone who isn’t a family member or friend. Lexie continues to boo-hoo and try to explain how Tek was there for her and Theo while Abe was gone and thought he was dead. Abe tells her when he came back, he gave her an out, but she didn’t take it. He tells her the only reason she has stayed with him is because she was afraid she would lose Theo. He begins to break down himself, damning both of them. Tek tries to interrupt, but Abe tells him if he values his life, he will keep his lying mouth shut…so he does. (LOL). Lexie swears she was ending it but Abe has her number…saying she just had to do it one last time, huh? He says it is a good thing that he got that note telling him where to find them. Lexie is shocked to hear that as he hands it over to her and she reads it. She says they need to talk, but he tells her that talking time is over…they are through. He goes to leave as she clings to him, crying NO, NO…NO. He tells her she can just cry all she wants…she can kiss their marriage…and her son…goodbye. He will make sure she gets all she deserves and tells Tek he will be working security at Salem Place mall. As he goes to leave, he tells her that her father was right about her all along…she really IS a true DiMera after all. He slams the door on his way out, wishing them good luck…they will need it. Lexie is furious, saying she KNOWS who did this…SAMI…and that bitch is going to pay. Outside, a gloved hand pushes back the bushes, having observed the whole scene.

Down at the Docks…Max buys Chelsea an iced coffee and gives her a lecture on the side. She says she is going to go find someone else. He is on her about her drinking but she doesn’t want to hear it and instead starts whining about her community service coming up, with him telling her she should be thankful and celebrating. She tells him she is sick and tired of hearing it all the time…she is who she is. He asks her just WHO that is? He says he is sure she has a heart, why is it so hard for her to let people see it. She gets mad and storms off. Later, she is at home (and Abby is there). They talk about Max as she complains about him always lecturing her. Abby says maybe it is because he cares about her. Max (standing outside the window) says, “she’s right, you know”. Abby excuses herself so they can talk and Max climbs through the window. He talks about how much he really does like her and thinks they should move to the next level. She is excited and asks if that means he wants to have sex. Max is like “down, girl” and tells her that he means that they become more like girlfriend/boyfriend. He does want that with her, but in time. He wants to get to know her better first…and then when the time is right. He says sometimes he finds it hard to respect her…and doesn’t think she even respects herself. He asks her what about it. She has a huge grin on her face as Abby speaks up, saying “are you out of your mind?...say YES.”

Also at the Docks…Sami and EJ continue to tango. Lucas, Carrie and Austin show up talking about Frankie & Jen’s party (funny, I don’t remember seeing them there). They talk about the spectacle that Chelsea made, as Lucas is just glad that Sami didn’t show up and add to the circus as well. Austin takes up for her as Lucas wonders where she is anyway. Austin tries to call her but gets the machine. They argue about Sami as Lucas calls Austin a fool. Sami is proud of herself for picking up the tango so easily. They make a turn and she catches a glimpse of Austin & Co. and stumbles backward and falls into the river. EJ jumps in to save her as the gang walks up. EJ pulls her from the water as she starts trying to explain. EJ jumps in and helps her, saying Sami wanted to surprise Austin by learning the tango and explains they won the contest. Austin tells her not to worry, he believes her and is impressed and is NOT threatened by her friendship with EJ. He asks her to show him what she learned so they go to dance (despite Sami complaining that she is soaking wet). They dance as Carrie, Lucas and EJ watch.

At the Deveraux House…Jen opens the door to find Frankie there, flowers in hand. She slams the door in his face, saying it’s bad luck. He talks through the door, explaining it isn’t midnight yet, so she finally lets him in. Kayla takes the flowers to put them in water (giving them some alone time) and then goes out the back patio and sits alone where she has flashbacks of her wedding to Steve. With teary eyes, she says she is happy for Frankie and Jen and wants to move on with her life as well, but she can’t. Frankie and Jen talk about the wedding as Jen says she knows that Jack will be watching and be happy for them…after all this is what he wanted. Jen talks about how Jack loved both of them and Frankie says that is why he pursued her because Jack actually loved both of them. They kiss and then Jen hurries him off, then looks at a picture of her and Jack. She goes out and sits with Kayla and talks about second chances, wishing that Kayla could find love again as well. Kayla is a bit uncomfortable and says she is going inside to call and check on Hope. Jen talks to Jack, saying she knows he would be happy for her but needs his blessing. She looks up and sees a shooting star and says “thanks you, Jack”. Inside, Kayla gets Hope’s answering machine and then calls Jo (we don’t see her). She tells her that she is back in Salem and talks about how difficult it is and that she misses Steve so much.

Jack and “Nick”…have stopped at a motel for the night. Apparently, Jack had gotten worse and Nick says he needs his rest, he has a big day ahead. Jack is upset they stopped 30 miles from home. Nick looks through Jack’s wallet and takes out the picture of him and Kayla and says “yep, there I am”. He wonders if this is all real. Jack mumbles in his sleep “Jennifer” as Nick just hopes he will last long enough to make it home. Later, Jack wakes up, ready to go on to Salem tonight but Nick tells him to just rest. He sees that Nick has the photo and asks if he remembers anything yet…he says no…but likes looking at it. Jack is sure that he will remember everything when he sees Kayla…she is the love of his life. Later, (almost delirious) Jack calls for Jen as Nick looks out the window. He says if he DID love this woman…how could he have left her behind?

On Smith Island…Hope’s captor takes off her blindfold and she jumps up and grabs a gun, whirling around and says “YOU!” Yes, it’s Bo. She can’t believe he kidnapped her, scaring her to death like that. He chuckles and tells her that kidnapping should be old hat to her by now (ROFL!) He is a bit nervouse as she waves the gun around, ranting at him. He reminds her that it has a hair trigger, so she finally puts it down. She says she COULD kill him. She is furious and storms out the door as he just smiles and pours coffee. A few moments later, she returns, throwing something at him, saying he took the spark plugs off the boat. He laughs, saying he thought she might swim. (she deservedly calls him a BASTARD). He offers coffee and asks her to sit and talk with him. She tells him it is too late…he has betrayed her too many times. They talk about him taking Chelsea’s side and he talks about how everything snow-balled. She talks about her original email (asking for a divorce) was a test that he failed miserably. He says that is why we are here…he wants another chance. He says that they both did/said things they didn’t mean. He wants to start over but she says no…she can’t…it’s too late, especially after what he did at the trial. He swears that he didn’t do anything too the evidence and asks her to believe him. She says that he has told so many lies, she just can’t believe him anymore. He says she has to trust him…but if there is no more trust in their marriage…then there is no marriage…maybe it IS over. He says if she really wants a divorce, then there is nothing he can do to stop it. He doesn’t want it, but she is leaving him no choice. He goes and opens the door, gives her the spark plugs and tells her goodbye. She sits at the table a few moments and then stomps out. After she leaves, he throws a clay pot across the room. Freeze frame on Bo…as the previews show…

Bo (to Hope): What are you doing here?...why did you sleep in that chair last night?...(Hope): I just couldn’t leave you…

Austin (to Carrie): I really think that her trouble making days are behind us…

Jack (in the car, to Nick): The line is still busy…(Nick): Well, it looks like everyone is going to be surprised then, huh?

The wedding is about to begin at the church and as Jennifer prepares to walk down the aisle, she says “wish me luck, Jack”…

The shower is over as Jen is helped home with her presents by Kayla and Hope; Steve and Jack head for Salem; EJ and Sami tango on the dock and Abe’s real life wife helps expose his cheating tv wife.

THE HOSPITAL
Mimi and Shawn can’t believe their good luck to find a surrogate so fast (no kidding). Holly is thrilled and Shawn tells her that their lawyer will contact her next about the contracts.

Belle and Philip talk about his low sperm count as he wonders why she got pregnant so fast considering that.

DANCING ON THE DOCK
Sami and EJ stroll on the dock as she explains why her family wouldn’t be happy to see her at the shower. He suggests they have their own party. She sees tango dancing going on nearby and says Austin learned how to do it in NYC and she’d love to learn how and surprise him with a tango at their reception. EJ tells her she’s in luck as he learned from one of the top tango dancers while in Argentina. We see him showing her the tango dance moves as they stare into each others eyes. Sami’s a very quick study as we return and watch them tangoing seductively. They get the trophy for the Tango Contest and are asked to do some more. EJ twirls her pulls her into a twist a few times as they stare into each other’s eyes to the applause of the crown.

THE SHOWER
Kate and Austin chat. He toasts the engaged couple and tells his mom that Sami knew the family wouldn’t appreciate her presence there. He assures his mom that Sami’s changed and they will get married unless she does something again. She tells him she won’t, and to herself, said Sami will be her own undoing.

Billie rambles on to Abe about wanting Bo and Hope to get back together and can’t believe how Chelsea showed up. Patrick arrives and she tells him he shouldn’t be there either as it’ll just make Bo upset. Bo’s had a few too many and he tells Frankie (who is spending the night before his wedding at the pub) saying he didn’t switch the evidence and has to prove that to Hope. Patrick eggs him on about how Hope won’t forgive him for switching the evidence. Abe asks Patrick if he’ll leave Bo alone (after Frankie took Bo aside) and he promises to just talk with Billie. Billie tells Patrick that Bo didn’t do it, he’s innocent, in a manner implying she knows who did do it. She warns him to not interfere with Bo and Hope as she’s been there and done that and knows they’ll always end up together. Kate overhears and can’t believe Billie’s her daughter. Billie and Austin are arm in arm and Kate tells them she hopes they learn from her mistakes. They tell their mother she’s not going to control them any more. The more she tries, the harder they’ll protest. Kate steps away as Austin asks Billie what their mom is up to.

Frankie tells Bo he’s Hope’s lawyer and can’t stop the divorce. Bo reminds him that he’s also his brother (guess there’s a shortage of lawyers in Salem as he was also Chelsea’s lawyer too, yet Hope still chose him, haha).

Abe calls Lexie at the hospital and is surprised to learn she isn’t there, saying she was paged. (hmmm, didn’t get away with it this time Lexie) He hangs up to find the envelope with his name on it on his table (the black glove put it there while he was on the phone). He heads out and Bo asks where he’s going, but Abe just says it’s personal.

Mimi and Shawn arrive at the pub with their ever present shadows, Belle and Philip (where’s Claire?) Bo’s happy to see them. Shawn just explains they were busy and asks where mom is., saying he’s not surprised she didn’t want to hang out with Bo. They sit down at a table and Shawn starts to tell Belle and Philip about how lucky they were to find a surrogate who doesn’t drink or smoke. Mimi looks ahead and says they have a problem. Shawn says they don’t and Mimi looks ahead saying they do as we see Holly smoking and drinking at the pub.

Bo and Patrick bump into each other and Bo suggests they take it outside, so they do. Shawn tells Holly they aren’t going to let her carry their baby. She says she needs the money and was partying just one last time before getting pregnant. Shawn says no way and comforts Mimi who knew it wouldn’t be that easy.

Philip and Belle remember how things weren’t that easy for them either. Frankie asks Patrick to leave before a fight starts and he does.

AT THE CLINIC
Jack is excited about Steve’s return to Salem (so are we, so are we) and can’t wait for him to reunite with his family and friends and get his memory back. The doctor is trying to examine him and asks Jack to stop talking so much as Steve said that would hard, LOL. The doctor feels Jack’s trip would be good as he’ll have a chance to say goodbye to his family. He leaves to get Jack’s release papers and Steve gets Jack’s clothes out of his locker, surprised that that’s all he has. Jack tells Steve how they won’t believe it when he walks in the pub.

ON THE ROAD TO SALEM….
Steve is driving and tells Jack they’re almost there. Jack is not feeling well in the front seat and hopes he makes it. Steve changes the subject and asks Jack to tell him more about his wife Kayla. Jack tells him she’s beautiful and caring and was his nurse the first time he met her. She was the best thing to happen to him. Steve asks if she was really his sister in law as it sounds more like he had a thing for her. Jack is caught off guard at that. Jack pulls his wallet out and just remembered that he had Kayla and Steve’s wedding picture all along and shows it to Steve. Steve is anxious to see it and when he does, looks forward and says OH MAN. He doesn’t recognize her, but even though Jack had said she was gorgeous, he didn’t realize how true that was. They’re rounding the bend to home..

NO TELL MOTEL
Lexie’s nervous, afraid about losing Theo if Abe found out. She’s worried about Sami finding out about what they’re doing as we see the gloved hand holding an envelope with Abe’s name on it. We return to her feeling bad about lying to Carrie to keep Sami from revealing their affair. She has to find a way to set that straight. He tells her how special she is to him and they go at it again. Abe arrives and tells the manager (his real life wife of 20 years) that he got a note from his wife to meet him there as she had a surprise for him. The manager gives Abe the keys to room 4 and chuckles as she walks away. Abe unlocks the door and opens it to find Lexie and Tek rolling around in bed together. Lexie sees him at the door and panics.

BACK ON THE DOCK
Kate strolls and sees EJ and Sami dancing…figuring she’ll just let nature take it’s course.

DEVERAUX HOME
Jennifer returns home with Kayla and Hope helping her with her presents. Kayla tries to tell Hope that unlike her and Jennifer who lost Jack and Steve, Bo is still alive and she needs to get back with him. Hope says that’s not true, Jack and Steve live in their hearts (and about 15 minutes down the road) and are always watching out for them. We return to the gals digging into bowls of ice cream..(my kind of party and I sure missed these girl chats from the past!) Kayla tells Hope how much she admired her and Bo’s relationship and tells her there’s no problem they can’t work through. Kayla encourages her to work hard to get their marriage back. Jennifer joins in saying the same. Hope is feeling overwhelmed and says she’s going to for a walk. They offer to join her, but she reminds them she’s a cop (like that’s kept her safe in the past?) and will be okay. She hugs them, says she loves them and leaves saying she’ll see them tomorrow.

Jennifer and Kayla chat. Jen assures Kayla she loves Frankie so much and knows he’ll be a good stepfather to her children. Jack was her whole life and even though he physically isn’t there, it’s still forever for her. Kayla tears up and says how much she misses Steve too. THE ROSE starts playing on the radio as Kayla tells Jen it was their song as we see her remembering kissing Steve. She’s so glad Jen and Frankie found each other, but there will never be anyone by Steve for her. Kayla tells her she has this beautiful reoccurring dream about the doorbell ringing and Steve’s at the door. On cue, the doorbell rings and the women are caught off guard. They laugh and Jen said she knows it’s two people it couldn’t be and opens the door. Her eyes open wide as she sees who’s there and the previews roll…

Hope’s walking along the street near a bus stop. She hears a noise and someone wearing black gloves grabs her from behind…

Chelsea to Max: I’m so sick and tired of you. I am who I am…
Max: and that would be who Chelsea?

Sami’s dancing (?) and loses her footing on the dock and falls into the river. EJ jumps in after her, calling her name.

Abe and Tek are fighting (as we see Tek flying across the room onto the bed). Abe is furious and says: “I’m going to take out my gun and shoot you where you deserve it.”

Hope pulls away from her captor (looks to be in a cabin somewhere) and grabs her gun saying “Oh my God, it’s you.”

Kayla arrives in town, just in time for Jennifer & Frankie’s bridal shower at the pub, determined to get Bo and Hope back together…another uninvited and intoxicated guest shows up as well…Lexie tries to discourage Tek, but it doesn’t seem to be working…AND someone is watching them…Jack convinces “Nick” to go to Salem…Shawn and Mimi choose a surrogate.

Dancing on the Docks…Max and Chelsea are there as she is all happy (and getting even more ‘happy’ from her flask). She is wanting to celebrate and goes on about how her dad saved her. Max can’t believe that Bo had anything to do with the evidence disappearing. He asks her if SHE was responsible. She denies it. He doesn’t think that Chelsea is too concerned about what could happen to Bo but she is sure that now he can be happy with her mom. Max points out that Hope is the one he loves, not Billie. He thinks that Chelsea is acting guilty about SOMETHING and tries to get her to tell him what. Abby walks up and says that Chelsea will never admit to doing something wrong. Max asks Abby about the party for her mom and Frankie and she says she isn’t going. But an inebriated Chelsea says that SHE is. Max tells her no…Hope will be there, but Chelsea doesn’t care.

At the Hospital…Mimi is still whining about losing the baby and blaming herself. Shawn wants to talk about the surrogate idea or adoption. Mimi says she wants him to have his own child…like Claire. She covers her slip and they talk about moving forward and exploring their options. Later, they are looking through file folders of possible surrogates and find one that they both really like. The nurse tells them that she is at the hospital right now for a check up and she goes to see if she is still there. A girl (named Holly Landrow) comes in to meet them. The three of them talk and she tells them all about herself (as Mimi seems a bit uncomfortable). She tells them she would love to have their baby and that they would make great parents. After she leaves Mimi starts boo-hooing and Shawn asks what’s wrong. She says she is just being silly and finally says they should just go for it, so Shawn goes to find Holly and give her the news. He finds her in the hallway as Mimi comes out as well and tells her that they want her. She is excited and goes to find the doctor and start filling out the necessary forms…as Shawn and Mimi kiss.

In the Park…Billie runs into Abe on her way to the party and asks him what could happen to Bo. He says he could lose his badge and even serve jail time. Abe talks about what a bad year this has been for Bo, losing Zack and Hope. He doesn’t think they are going to be able to work out their problems. Billie tells him that even though she tried to break up Bo and Hope many times in the past, it never worked. She has finally accepted it that Bo loves Hope. Abe talks about when he and Lexie lost Isaac and how it almost ruined their marriage. He talks about how lucky he was that they made it through those rough times.

Meanwhile, at the No-Tell Motel…Lexie and Tek fall across the bed kissing, but she stops him, telling him she can’t go through with it. She tells him she is going to Jen’s party and as she is leaving, he is begging her to meet him afterward. She finally gives in and says she will. As they kiss goodbye, we see a gloved hand and someone watching them from the bushes.

At Jen’s (I think)…Hope tells Frankie to go ahead and file the divorce papers. Jen protests but Hope tells her to just focus on their wedding. Jen thinks maybe they should cancel. Hope refuses to let her do that, but Jen was talking about the party…not the wedding. As they get ready to leave for the party, Jen asks her what if Bo is there. Hope says if he is, she will just have to deal with it…she doesn’t want to spoil Jen’s happiness.

At the Pub…Bo arrives looking for a drink and asks what is going on. Ma & Pa Brady tell him that they are having a party for Jen and Frankie. Bo tells them they are about to lose a daughter in law and doesn’t want to stay. They beg him to stay and before he can leave, they bring out the big gun…as Kayla arrives with hugs all around. She tries to talk some sense into Bo but he says that Hope has shut him out of her life. She reminds him that Steve is dead and she can never get him back, but for him and Hope there is still a chance.

Later, Jen, Frankie and Hope all arrive for the party. Billie is there now and tells Bo that her being there is a mistake. Bo goes to talk to Hope but Kayla beats him over there and is offering her support. She takes Bo and Hope by the hand and pulls them aside and tells them she is NOT leaving Salem until they work things out. Bo says she is being a true big sister and Hope tells her not to waste her time. She talks about Frankie and Jen getting a second chance and how they can have one as well. She begs them not to give up on what they have…as Hope corrects her and says “had”. Outside, Lexie arrives (with Tek in tow) and she tells him they CANNOT go in together so she goes in first and is greeted by Abe. Tek is watching from outside…as someone is watching him as well. Abe tells Lexie that he has been a fool and doesn’t want to risk their marriage. He tells her that he has decided that he will do whatever it takes to make love to his beautiful wife again….she deserves a true husband. As they hug, she sees Tek come into the pub. Kayla is still trying to convince Hope to give Bo another chance. She explains that she lost the love of her life and her life has never been the same. She tells Hope if it were possible for Steve to walk through that door right now, nothing would ever come between them again. Later she talks to Bo and asks him WHAT did he do to make Hope so angry. He tries to explain and she tells him not to give up on her. More arrivals outside…this time it is Chelsea, with Max and Abby both trying to convince her not to go inside, but she won’t listen and is bound and determined. She staggers inside as Billie sees her and rushes over, telling her she should NOT be there. Billie gets one whiff of her and realizes she has been drinking again. Chelsea ignores her as she sees Bo and rushes over, hugs him and gushes “Oh DAD!” as Hope watches in anger. He also tells her she shouldn’t be there as she and Hope exchange “go to hell” looks. Billie drags her aside and chews her out, accusing her of just trying to make trouble. She tries to get her to leave but she refuses, saying that “Hopeless” is out of the picture now and Billie should make her move on Bo. Kayla comes over as Billie introduces her and Chelsea. Kayla says she has heard a lot about her and Chelsea replies “all bad, I am sure” (LOL). Abby tells her mom that she is sorry, but she just cannot be happy for her and Frankie, she feels that this is all too soon. Jen reminds her that she is doing what Jack wanted. Abby tells her if they go through with the wedding, then consider her on her own. Tek has been watching Lexie and Abe and can’t stand it any longer, so he sends her a text message, telling her he needs her. Lexie lies and tells Abe that it is the hospital needing her so she leaves. Abe sees Tek and starts questioning him about the new woman in his life and tells him to bring her to the wedding. Tek leaves the party as well and we next see the two of them back at the No-tell Motel, with the gloved hand outside the window watching them. Then we see the hand with an envelope with the name Abe Carver written on it.

Back at the party, Jen is now opening her gifts, thanking everyone. Abby tells Max to take Chelsea home so she can sober up. He leads her out of there as Caroline and Kayla are hugging, Caroline thrilled that she came home. Kayla says she hates to see Bo and Hope splitting up and talks about how much she misses Steve. (…but not for long as you will read below).


In the OTHER Hospital…Nick comes to see Jack with the DNA results. As he looks over the results, he is shocked and says it is true, their DNA matches. An excited Jack talks about Kayla and Stephanie, telling him he has to go to Salem and talk to their mother Jo Johnson if he needs confirmation. Nicke refuses to believe it as Jack begs him to go to Salem…and grant him his dying wish, and keeps trying to convince him that he IS Steve Johnson. Nick asks questions about his supposed past but says he refuses to go to a place where everyone thinks he is dead. Jack (laughing) says he has been dead “plenty of times…it’s not as bad as you think” (LOL). But Nick still doesn’t believe…saying he doesn’t remember any of it…or Jack…at all. Jack gives him a brief history of their lives…how their mother gave them up and they were separated and raised by different people. He tells Nick that he needs to talk to the Bradys and he can find Kayla through them. Nick pulls up a chair and says he is not going to help him (calling him “Jackson”). Nick asks WHO he is…WHO is he working for…believing this is all some sort of setup. But Jack keeps on, reminding him he has a wife and daughter. But Nick says he isn’t a family man. Jack tells him that he used to be the same way but once he had a family, all that changed. They argue back and forth as Jack begs him to do this. He tells Nick he spent half of his adult life hating him and now he wants to do something good for him. Nick asks why and Jack says because he has been a pain in the ass…just as Nick is being right now. He tells him to just think it over…as Nick looks at the DNA results again. Later, he tells Jack that he will go back to Salem…but only if he goes with him…and calls him “bro”. Jack talks about how he misses his family, so Nick tells him to get his butt out of bed then and go with him to see them. Finally Jack says okay, he will go with him…so he can say goodbye to HIS family and Nick can reunite with his. Jack sees this as his last good deed…as Nick says “whatever” (wow, what chemistry between these 2…with their rapid fire dialogue…I missed SO much here). Jack tells him that when he walks through the door, it will blow Kayla away…Freeze frame on a split screen of Steve and Kayla…as the previews show…

EJ and Sami are dancing the tango as he tells her not to speak…

Billie (to Patrick): I am not going to do anything to come between Bo and Hope…and neither should you…

Bo (to Frankie): You have got to help me stop her from going through with this divorce…it’s destroying both our lives…

Hope is walking along as a gloved hand reaches out from the shadows and clasps a hand over her mouth (wanna bet that it’s Bo?)…

The Hospital

Philip & Belle talk about Mimi losing her baby, and how devastated she & Shawn must be. Bonnie arrives, overhears, and rushes into Mimi’s room. (wonder how she knew exactly where it was?) She gets the news, and tries to soothe Mimi with talk of trying again. Dr. Doom & Gloom comes in (Lexie) with test results. It seems Mimi’s body did it’s best not to allow the embryo to attach itself, and it is highly unlikely that Mimi could ever carry a baby to full term. Mimi is devastated. Out in the waiting area, Philip & Belle wonder why they have not been able to get pregnant yet, as they are trying a lot, and yet were able to conceive Claire so easily. They decide to talk to Lexie about it, as long as they are in the hospital already. (hmmm, and not an obstetrician or gynecologist, huh?) Meanwhile, Lexie is suggesting that Mimi & Shawn could use a surrogate to carry their baby. She leaves, and they do not like the idea of a stranger doing this. Bonnie tells them it does not have to be a stranger, and offers to do so herself. Mimi wonders if Bonnie can give up alcohol for a whole 9 months. Bonnie assures her she could, but that would not include beer, right? LOL, as Mimi tells her yes, and also no cigarettes. Bonnie is crestfallen, as she realizes she could not do that. Outside, Philip & Belle have talked to Lexie, and already taken fertility tests, and being as things are slow in the lab, they should be ready soon. She gets a call, (it is Tek) and she fakes her “I cannot do this” routine with him, but he gives her info on where to meet him. Someone arrives to give Belle & Philip their test results (boy, those always go to my DOCTOR!) and Belle opens the envelope, takes out the paper, and seems disconcerted. Philip asks if all is o.k., and she says that yes, with her, but it seems the problem is with him. He takes the paper, reads, and says “low sperm motility”? as he again mentions how easily Belle became pregnant with Claire.

The Photo Shoot

Austin & Sami come in and talk to the very Italian photographer, about the first shoot featuring EJ. He mentions Kiara, and Sami is puzzled, but it turns out that is the female model who will be posing with him. We hear a lot of laughter, and as the group goes to check, we see EJ doing pushups, with Kiara lying atop his back. Sami pitches a fit, Kiara stalks off, and now no model. Sami was insisting that Kiara has all the wrong look for this campaign, it needs the girl next store look, etc. etc. EJ suggests that Sami herself would be perfect. She declines, but both Austin & the photographer agree, so she does. We see a series of “make up” shots, and out Sami comes. (Ali is one beautiful lady, and always looks so gorgeous!) The shoot begins, and is going very well. Outside, Kate & Billie arrive, and Kate is more than thrilled to see Sami with EJ. She comes in as the models take a 5 minute break. Sami begins to explain about Kiara not being right for this project, and Kate startles her by agreeing completely. Sami is rather taken aback, but Kate think this is all perfect. She introduces EJ to Billie, who gets a bit gushy, and when she leaves to get her daughter (hmm, I thought Kate & Billie were taking Chelsea out to celebrate??) she makes sure to mention that she is definitely single. LOL

The Cop Shop

Abe, Bo, Hope, Tek, Billie, Kate & Officer Michaels gather to watch the tape from the surveillance camera in the evidence room. It shows Bo going into the room, and dismissing the guard as he does so. Hope immediately accuses Bo of doing so in order to conceal his tampering with the disk. Bo denies it, claiming the guard needed a short break. (I do not know how ANYONE can miss the knowing looks between Kate and the dirty cop – Overkill! LOL) Then we see, on the tape, Bo coming up to the vent, raising hs hand to the grate, and then the tape goes blank. Bo claims that he heard a noise, did not know what it was, so went to the vent and hit it a few times. Hope will have none of that, even tho Bo claims he did not know the camera was there. Bo pleads with Abe, Hope stalks off. Billie tries to talk with Bo, but he has to go after Hope. Billie is upset with Kate, who tells her that someday she will thank her for what she did. (And boy, Kate, someday, I truly hope you get what YOU definitely deserve!). Abe & Tek talk a bit about Bo & Hope, with Abe saying how he does not think he could ever forgive Lexie if she betrayed him. He goes on about loving his wife, and wanting to spend more quality time with her, etc. Tek takes off, telling himself he can’t let Abe get back into Lexie’s good graces and calls her to meet him “one last time”. Abe calls Lexie, but has to leave a message. Lexie has told Tek no, but of course, doesn’t mean it. She meets him at the place he named, telling him she only came to tell him she cannot do this. (Oh, puleeeze!), but kiss, kiss, they are at it before you can blink an eye. A gloved hand watces through the bushes into the window as they fall onto the bed.

Jen’s House

Jen & Frankie talk a bit about Chelsea, and then the divorce papers that Hope asked Frankie to get ready pronto. Neither one believes Bo tampered with the evidence, and are dismayed at Hope’s determination to go through with the divorce. Jen tells Frankie about talking with his sister, Kayla, and how she is coming home for their wedding. Hope arrives, tells them what happened with the video, and asks Frankie for the divorce papers, she wants to sign them now. There is a pounding on the door, as Bo has arrived. Frankie opens the door, and Bo tries to talk to Hope, but she will have none of it. He tells her he will never sign the papers. She tells him she is signing the papers and slams the door in his face, then asks Frankie if it is true the papers only need one signature. Yes. She signs. Outside, Bo sits on a bench, looks up, saying “It can’t be over. It can’t be over”. And the previews show

SHAWN TO MIMI: So what do you say? Youwant to take the next step and find a surrogate for our baby?

LEXIE TO TEK: This is gonna be the last time, o.k.? (This has to be the 328^th time she said that…Lol)

We see a small white envelope with the name Abe Carver scrawled on it

KAYLA TO BO & HOPE: I am not leaving this town until the two of you have worked this out (Yayyy, Kayla is back in Salem!)

JACK TO NICK (PATCH): If Kayla see you walking through that door, it’s gonna blow her away.

P.S. to the readers, here. Days is definitely calling him Steve, not Patch, and his name IS Steve. But until he is no longer Nick, and gets his memory back, I cannot help myself. It is sooo good to see him again.

Another enjoyable show as GREAT flashbacks of Kayla and Steve together and Jennifer talks Kayla into coming home for her wedding; Jack tries to find ways to show Steve/Nick that he’s his brother; Bo professes his innocence as the women in his life react differently; and Abe saves the day by calling one-minded Tek away from Lexie.




THE PUB
Pop Shawn is disappointed when Caroline tells him that Kayla said she’d “think about” coming home to Salem. Caroline knows the memories of Steve are what keeps Kayla away. After all these years, she’s never gotten over losing Steve.

KAYLA
We see Kayla trying to decide whether to go home to Jennifer and Frankie’s wedding as she clasps hers and Steve’s wedding picture (sniff) while listening to “The Rose”. (oh man, a tear jerker all by itself) She has a WONDERFUL flashback of when Steve proposed to her (man, they still both look great after all these years)…another flashback of when she steps in the boxing ring and he helps her on with boxing gloves. She punches him in the face and whamo…knocks him into the ropes. A third flashback (I’m getting shivers here) as he does hand sign language (she was deaf for a while) of THE ROSE…..as he hungrily watches him hand/sing the song to her….Back to present, the phone rings as the song continues. She answers the phone and says “I can’t believe it.” It’s Jennifer. Kayla knows her mother put her up to the call and Jennifer tells Kayla she knows how painful it is to lose someone you love and every memory isn’t necessarily a bad one. Living in Salem, she has good memories of Jack too. She asks Kayla if that means she’ll come home for her wedding. Kayla agrees, asking how can she refuse to see her become her sister in law all over again (remember, Patch was Jack’s brother..so that’s why they’re sister in laws now). Jennifer tells Caroline the good news, Kayla’s coming home. Caroline hopes that Jennifer can help Kayla move on after Steve. Jennifer knows she loves Frankie, but if Jack were still alive….

Kayla looks at a picture of Steve on her computer and tells herself that Jennifer’s right, it’s time to go home. She’s the fastest packer in the west as we moments later see her leave her apartment with her rolling suitcase and over the shoulder carry on . She looks at her and Steve’s wedding picture and puts it in her carry on and leaves.

JACK AND STEVE/PATCH(NICK)
Jack’s insistent that the orderly is his brother as “Nick” gets a little frustrated and leaves the room, promising to send in a pretty nurse in his place. Later he returns with orange sherbert for Jack and tries to rationalize it’s Jack’s illness that makes him think he’s his brother. Jack knows that Nick is Steve Johnson, his brother, and will prove it to him. He’ll call his wife, Kayla! Patch/Nick says..oh goody, now I have a wife? He suggests that Jack call his own wife, but Jack explains he can’t call his own wife because she thinks he’s dead already. He’s determined that Nick is his brother. Nick pins a button on Jack that says I AM LOVED on it (aha, the infamous button!) Jack shows him the locket and asks if Steve knows who the woman is. Steve says “It’s your wife.” It was only by reasonable deduction that he guessed that. Jack tries another alley and says Nick needs to grant his dying wish and see his wife. Nick refers to her as Kaylie, LOL, as Jack corrects him. Jack asks Nick to take a DNA test with him. Nick agrees to do what Jack wants if he’ll eat and Jack obliges.

JAVA CAFE
CELESTE and her tarot cards are out to breakfast and trying to learn Lexie’s fate.

LEXIE (in her office at the hospital) tells Tek she can’t do this any more when Celeste calls her asking why she’s late meeting her. Tek tells Lexie that they have unfinished business as he won’t let her go (take a cold shower man!)

AT THE COP SHOP
ABE confronts the dirty cop (Detective Michaels) about the log only showing Bo’s name. Abe knows Bo didn’t do it and he’s there to prove it. Abe’s known Bo his whole life and knows he didn’t do it. He knows who could prove it and makes a cell call. He calls Tek and orders him to meet him in the evidence room. Tek agrees and leaves, but not before insisting that Lexie live up to her “one more time” promise she made him.

LEXIE joins CELESTE at JAVA CAFÉ and lies about being late due to work at the hospital. Celeste knows it’s because she was with Tek. Lexie tells her mother that she wants to get back with Abe and told Tek so, but Celeste can tell by Lexie’s nervousness that it’s not that easy. Lexie smiles as she tells Celeste how Tek said he loved her when she told him it was over. Celeste warns Lexie not to fool herself. She read Lexie’s cards while waiting for her, but not only risks losing Abe, but Theo too. Lexie gets a cell call and says it’s the hospital. She leaves after assuring her mom it’s over between her and Tek. Celeste is worried that Tek will be Lexie’s undoing.

IN THE COURTROOM, Frankie asks Bo for the truth, saying to considered it privileged information. Bo figures if he’s questioning him, what must Hope think? He didn’t do it!

Jen and Hope talk privately on the other side of the courtroom. Hope’s determined to sign those divorce papers now. Bo got Chelsea off and that’s all that’s ever mattered. Jen tells Bo to give Hope space and to prove he didn’t switch the disk. That’s the only thing that will save his marriage.

Patrick arrives fashionably late in a grey suit, saying he heard the verdict and asks if Bo switched the disk. Billie honestly tells him she doesn’t know if Bo did, as Kate plays innocent with the demon child smiling next to her. (PLEASE, make Kate pay writers!) Kate’s anxious to celebrate the good news as Hope walks out and tells them not so fast! Hope tells the group that she accepts the judge’s ruling and suggests that Chelsea not screw up her second chance. Chelsea asks if she forgives her and Hope said no, but she knows Zack loved her and hopes she appreciates her second chance and knows she can’t be tried again due to the double jeopardy laws. Chelsea said she loved Zack too. Hope tells Chelsea that justice was not served there and she and Chelsea both know that. Chelsea walks away and Billie and Kate follow after and ask why she left, that Hope was trying to make peace. Chelsea realizes that and asks what’s wrong with her. Kate said she and Billie both have made mistakes too and they have to learn by them. Chelsea says she will learn by what happened.

Patrick tells Hope that was a wonderful thing she did for both of them. Hope can’t hate Chelsea, it wasn’t Chelsea’s fault. Hope mentions Bo and he walks up saying he didn’t do it, but he knows who did. He says Patrick did and Patrick denies it, saying he was the one who found the disk. Bo thinks Patrick did it to cause a bigger rift between him and Hope. The two men argue as Hope accuses Bo of being desperate to try and cover up his guilt. Hope calls Bo a liar. Hope asks Patrick for time alone with Bo. She admits she’ll always love him, but all she wanted was justice, some closure. Chelsea’s picking up trash in the damn park doesn’t do that for her. She tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but can’t any more. What they have is over, it’s finished!

Jennifer arrives at the pub to see Caroline. Caroline says Jennifer has a wedding to plan.

FRANKIE asks Chelsea if she’s going to do the right thing and admit what she did to Bo and Hope. Of course she refuses, saying it wouldn’t make a difference. Chelsea figures Hope will never forgive Bo for switching the disk. Their marriage is history and even Frankie has to know that.

BILLIE accuses Kate of tampering with the evidence. Kate justifies that Billie was going to go to jail for Chelsea, so just appreciate the second chance she’s gotten. Kate brings up that Billie should go after Bo now and as they start to argue, Chelsea asks if they can go celebrate now.

BACK TO THE COP SHOP
TEK arrives and tells Abe and the dirty cop that the computer might help solve who did take the disk out of the evidence room as he hid a camera there. Bingo. As Tek sits down to see if they can get the pictures of who was in the evidence room, Abe tells the Detective to drive him over to the courthouse so he can tell Bo (what, his cell phone doesn’t work?). The Detective figures she should stay and help Tek, but Abe knows Tek can take care of it himself and she nervously follows Abe out. Tek clicks the keys and stares at what he finds.

Abe and the dirty cop arrive back to the courthouse to find Bo, Hope, Billie, Chelsea, Kate still there. He tells them the possible good news about finding the guilty party. Detective Michaels whispers to Kate to destroy the disk as Kate says she has to get back to the office. Abe takes her arm and says she should join them as this has to do with her granddaughter. Bo tells Hope that she’ll find out he had nothing to do with this as the show closes with her staring at Bo…and the previews roll…

MIMI TO SHAWN: “I’m afraid I’ll never be able to give you your own child”
....as we see Abes face…
And TEK telling LEXIE (outside Room 4 at a motel) that he “needs to be with her one last time”…as they start kissing and we see there’s someone in the bushes watching….

SAMI tells KATE (and Austin): “ I don’t care what you think I…what did you say?”
KATE: “I agree.”

HOPE TO BO: “Bo, what did you do?”
ABE (holding Hope): “Bo, why don’t you tell us?”

Summary: We have a verdict in Chelsea’s trial and she is sentenced…but she gets off too easily for Hope’s liking…Billie confronts Kate about the missing evidence…Jack is convinced the orderly is his dead brother…Sami takes time to count her blessings…Caroline sends out an SOS to long-lost family member. I don’t know if it is just wishful thinking or the reappearance of some familiar faces, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. I couldn’t put my finger on what it was…until it was over and I figured it out… believe it or not…there is NOT ONE SINGLE FLASHBACK!!! ;-) And trust me…it really makes a difference!


At the Hospital…Lexie goes over her test results as Sami paces in the hallway. She bursts in and asks Lexie about it. Lexie tells her the second test also shows that the lump was benign. But she can’t help but wonder why Sami is so concerned about it and thinks she is up to something. (Isn’t that a natural reaction to Sami? LOL). Sami says she cares as EJ comes in and reminds Sami she is supposed to pick up Will. She scurries off and Lexie advises EJ that Sami is up to something and urges him to stay away from her. He explains that he and Sami are just friends and Lexie informs him that Sami is friends with NOBODY. He takes up for her, saying that Sami is just misunderstood. But Lexie says that word doesn’t describe Sami…she is manipulative, selfish and cruel…in short…a bitch. She warns him not to become just another of her victims. Sami drops by the hospital chapel and lights a candle and says a prayer of thanks that Lexie is okay. She is sorry for every allowing Alex to manipulate her and going along with his schemes. She is also thankful that her mom is okay. She says that her conscience is clean now…almost…and promises NO MORE LIES. She finishes her prayer and turns around to find Tek there, who tells her that they need to talk. He tells her he isn’t going to stand by and let her blackmail Lexie any longer…she played dirty to snag Austin and it is going to come back to haunt her. He tells her that she has bad karma and it will come back on her…AMEN and then he leaves. EJ comes in and asks what that was all about and she says nothing. She thanks him for coming to her rescue and says she owes him. He tells her it isn’t necessary, but she insists. He says the price could be steep. (Hmmm). She says at least she owes him a favor. Tek goes to see Lexie, who isn’t too thrilled to see him. She tells him about the second biopsy and that she is okay. She appreciates his concern but asks him to leave. He begs her to give them another chance, then moves in and kisses her…and she responds.

At another Hospital…the orderly urges Jack to drink water as Jack babbles on that he is “Steve” and is shocked that he is alive. He tells him that he doesn’t know Jack, and that he is delirious. But Jack is sure and cannot understand why “Steve” doesn’t recognize him as well. He gets upset and starts convulsing as the orderly holds him and calls for the doctor. Later, they have him stabilized and the doctor asks if anything had upset him. The orderly explains that Jack thought he was his dead brother. Later, Jack wakes up, calling for “Steve” and the doctor explains that he had an allergic reaction to medication. He asks where the orderly is and the doctor calls for him (calling him Nick). Jack stares at him and says he thought he was hallucinating, but it IS him. Jack says “Steve, you are alive” as Nick just sighs.

Back at Salem U…Mimi and Belle arrive at the ER, with Mimi saying she is losing the baby. They rush her back as Philip arrives and tells Belle he couldn’t reach Shawn, his phone was turned off. A nurse comes out and informs them that Mimi lost the baby. Belle goes back to be with her but Mimi is devastated. Belle tries to comfort her but Mimi just keeps saying “it’s all my fault”. She blames herself, as Belle tries to assure her that there was nothing she could have done. Mimi says she could have told the truth and says she is a bad person, sure she is being punished. Sometime in here, Belle calls Shawn and he is on his way. He arrives a few minutes later and Belle goes back to Philip. Mimi tells Shawn she lost the baby and keeps blaming herself and keeps apologizing. He tells her it just wasn’t meant to be. Belle tells Philip that Mimi blames herself and they talk about how close they came to losing Claire. Mimi tells Shawn she is a bad person and would understand if he left her. He tells her he loves her, regardless if they have a baby. He says he watched his father destroy his family earlier and he isn’t going to be like that…as long as they are together, that’s is all that matters and he kisses her.

At the Courthouse…Officer Eve (bad cop) reveals that Bo was the only one that was in the evidence room earlier. Hope is shocked and the judge addresses Bo, asking if he had anything to do with the missing evidence. Bo denies it and the judge orders a full investigation. The DA pleads for more time, but Frankie also argues that without the evidence, they dismiss the charges. The DA brings up Chelsea’s confession. They go back and forth and the judge finally decides that although they cannon deny that she hit Zack, they do not know all the circumstances surrounding the accident, but she did behave recklessly. He decides it is time to rule and finds her guilty of vehicular manslaughter. She is sentenced to 200 hours of community service and a revoked drivers license. There are gasps all around and Shawn and Hope are shocked. Billie hugs Chelsea, telling her everything will be okay. Kate also rushes over to congratulate her. As she leaves the courtroom, Billie follows her outside. Chelsea hugs Bo and thanks him. In the hall, Billie confronts Kate, sure she had something to do with the missing evidence as Kate just stares at her. Chelsea got over her slap on the wrist rather quickly, as she is already complaining about having to serve 200 hours of service and how will she move on without a drivers license? Shawn walks up and overhears and lashes out at her. Bo stops him and is quickly told to leave him alone and go to hell. It is at this time Shawn gets the call from Belle and rushes off. Meanwhile, Caroline is on the phone calling someone. They answer and she is elated to hear her voice, telling her that they need her to come home. The camera pans back and we see it is none other thank Kayla. (WOW, Mary Beth looks great). Ma explains about the trial and how Bo and the family need her there. Kayla explains that she is busy and can’t leave her patients. Caroline pleads with her, saying it has been too long and desperately wants to see her. Billie is still questioning Kate who basically asks “what if I did?” Billie should be happy…Chelsea isn’t going to prison. They argue about it and Kate says if this isn’t what Billie wants, the evidence could “reappear”. Chelsea hugs Bo again and thanks him for destroying the evidence, which he denies. He says he will get to the bottom of it though and then real justice will be served. Chelsea asks what he means by that.

Kayla starts making excuses to Caroline, about how she doesn’t see how she could be any help. Caroline points out that she is family…just being there would help. Kayla says she has family there as well and talks about how Stephanie is involved in many things and she can’t uproot her...she also has committed to help Bill Horton in Africa during the summer. But Caroline knows the real reason she has stayed away for so long…it’s that Salem holds too many memories of her past…and of Steve. Kayla sighs.

Billie and Kate are still arguing about what she did and Kate says she did it for Billie as well…now she and Bo can get back together. Billie tells her what we would ALL like to…to stop meddling in her children’s lives. Kate says that Hope blames Bo for the missing evidence and that this is now Billie’s chance…take it. Hope tells Frankie and Jen that she thinks Bo is responsible. She says she wanted 2 things today…to see Chelsea get a guilty verdict and to find out where Bo stood. Even though she thinks Chelsea got off easy, she was found guilty…and she certainly saw where Bo stood. She asks Frankie where the divorce papers are…she is ready to sign…as Bo walks up and hears…with a shocked look on his face…and the previews show…

Jack: You are Steve Johnson…you’re my brother and I am going to prove it to you…(Nick): How?...(Jack): I am going to call your wife…

Jen: Even though I love Frankie…if Jack were still alive…Caroline: I know…

Frankie (to Chelsea): So you’ll do it?...You’ll tell the truth?...(Chelslea): No…

Bo: I wouldn’t do ANYTHING to hurt you…(Hope): And you’re a LIAR…

Bo and Hope testify at Chelsea’s hearing; Jack gets bad news and a surprise visitor (YES!!!); and nature stops Mimi from telling Belle the truth…..

THE HOSPITAL
Just before almost fainting, Mimi tells Belle she doesn’t deserve to have Shawn’s baby. Later Belle gives her a glass of water and Belle asks what she meant. Mimi is worried about feeling so sick, but Belle thinks it might be a good sick, morning sickness. Mimi is thrilled and goes to throw up, LOL. Belle tells Mimi what worked for her as poor Mimi is so nauseous she feels like she’s going to die. Mimi says Shawn deserves his own child, like Claire. She tells Belle she has a confession to make (how many times have we heard THAT?) and then she starts getting REALLY bad cramps. Mimi’s worried something is happening to her baby.

Elsewhere in the hospital…much to her dismay, EJ brings Sami to the hospital to see Lexi. She doesn’t understand why, nor does Lexie…as EJ just knocks on her door and goes in (don’t we all wish our doctors were THAT accessible?) He tells Lexie he wants to donate his last winnings to Breast Cancer Awareness. He wants Lexie to be their spokesperson. She tells him about her scare and he asks her to be retested to show people that even doctors believe in second opinions. Lexie caves and agrees to do it. EJ goes to set it up and Lexie pounces on Sami, knowing she must be behind this as she’s been after her to do just that. Sami denies it and for once it’s true. She tells Lexie that EJ donates money to charity all the time and she can check that out on the web. EJ returns after setting up the test for Lexie and she leaves to take it. Alone he tells Sami he did it for her as he knew it meant so much to her, but asks why it means so much to her. (I sure hope this guy is as good as he appears…and can turn Sami around…wow.)
Lexie returns after the test and is trying to thinking positive. Sami is nervous in the hall as EJ wonders why.

AT THE CLINIC
Jack is not feeling well, sweating and in pain with this new treatment. He asks the doctor to confirm he won’t be going home. He wants Jennifer to move on with her life with Frankie if he isn’t going to make it. The doctor tells Jack he has bad news. Jack said it’s June, he must be dying again..LOL! Someone is standing outside his room listening (YES!) as the doctor tells him his immune system is breaking down. Jack asks who that is (yes..it’s Patch) and the doctor explains he’s an orderly who works in hospice care. The doctor is worried that an infection would kill Jack. The doctor tells the nurse (while he’s still in the room) that this could be the beginning of the end and this patient is now on hospice care. Jack looks at the orderly and says “it’s YOU”. He thinks he’s hallucinating, but tells the orderly that he looks like his brother. He asks the orderly to say something (yes, he IS wearing his patch) and takes a better look as he says…Steve, Steve…..

THE TRIAL
Frankie and Jennifer talk. He fears if Chelsea’s latest developments come out, it will only go against her.

Half of Salem is arriving for the trial. Will, Caroline and Maggie arrive. Will hopes they throw the book at Chelsea (could his tie get any longer, LOL?) Bo tells his mom that he knows Chelsea needs to be punished, but he needs to stand by her. Victor walks up and in front of Caroline, tells Bo not to risk anything that will make him lose the woman he loves as he will regret it for the rest of his life…as he and Caroline exchange glances. Shawn can tell Hope still wants to be with Bo and she confirms that, but is waiting to see whose side Bo is on. The judge comes in and says there will be NO TRIAL. Cue excited, concerned looks (probably he’ll make the decision, not a jury…why pay for 12 extras, LOL?) Judge Lawler says he was just assigned the case and needs to get familiar with it. Bo tells Billie and Chelsea he’s a tough judge and had a grandson that was killed by a hit and run driver. Billie suspects Kate was involved in this somehow and Kate denies it, saying why would she want a judge who had that history? but thinks to herself that what she has done might not be helpful now. The judge calls Hope up to speak on the stand. She shows Zack’s picture and says today would have been his 6th birthday, but today there is no cake, no present, or party with family and friends. Zack won’t get to blow out his candles and make a wish. His wish would have been to grow up and make this world a better place. All of their dreams were taken away from them when he was tragically killed by Chelsea Brady. She’s not there to testify for revenge. Her grandfather taught her only God can decide on the outcome. As a mother she lost her child, but if Chelsea Brady goes free, she knows someone else will be hurt and she needs to learn from this tragedy. She tells the judge she knows he’s the one that will make the ruling, but feels justice can’t be done if the judge lets Chelsea go free.

He calls Bo up next. Bo says how they only had a few short years with Zack as Abe and Lexie Carver (neither who are even in the courtroom) raised him the first few years. He made their life complete. He was a big boy, not a baby anymore. He was looking forward to kindergarten. Choking up he says how hard it is not live without his tiny man. He tells how he misses Zack and wasn’t able to be there for him when he died. Bo breaks down and says he’ll never be able to forgive himself for that. All he can do is what he thinks Zack would want him to do. He loved his big sister and she loved him. He wouldn’t want the tragedy of his death to cause another tragedy in their family. He’s asking the Judge to show Chelsea justice and leniency…but he himself is the adult and the most responsible and if someone has to be shown justice and to go to prison, let it be him that goes. The judge appreciates that and says that Bo told Chelsea she could drive his SUV, but he wasn’t the one reaching for his cellphone and taking his eyes off the road and left the scene. Bo does admit he lied to the police to try and save his daughter. He’s the adult here and he should have taught his daughter better. Bo says they’ve already been punished by losing Zack, and Chelsea should be held accountable for her actions. She’s sorry, she didn’t know she had hit her little brother, his son. Jen whispers to Hope that Bo’s trying to do the right thing and Hope says..we’ll see.

The DA tells the Judge that she has a video disk that will prove Chelsea’s guilty. The judge takes the disk to look at it and Frankie urges Chelsea to change her plea to guilty now. She refuses to do so after looking at Kate. The DA plays the dvd and only snow shows on the screen. She explains she saw it earlier, there must be a technical glitch (what, no COPY of it was made?) Kate and the cop who took the bribe exchange looks and Kate steps out of the courtroom to see her. Frankie can’t believe it, but tells Jen this might change everything. The DA says the evidence was tampered with and the judge calls for an investigation.

Meanwhile, Kate was in the hall making an exchange with the dirty cop. The cop says it shows Bo Brady was the one who went into the evidence room, not her, saying it’s an additional bonus. Kate agrees and walks back in the courtroom as Billie observes her doing so, suspicious. The dirty cop gives the log to the evidence room to the judge and says only one person went in there this morning, and that was Detective Bo Brady…as the camera pans on Bo’s nervous face….and the previews roll….

LEXIE TO EJ: Whatever’s going on between the two of you…if you were smart, you’d end it now!

SHAWN TO MIMI: Stop torturing yourself..
MIMI: You don’t deserve to be punished just because I do.

BILLIE TO KATE: I know you had something to do with tampering the evidence.

BO TO CHELSEA: I’m going to do my damnest to find out who did it so real justice can be served.
CHELSEA: What do mean by real justice?

HOPE TO FRANKIE: Do you still have those divorce papers, because now I am ready to sign them.

Summary: Chelsea’s trial is FINALLY ready to begin… as Jen & Frankie try to talk Hope out of a tough decision…Kate takes desperate measures to help Chelsea, as Sami catches wind of it. (If you can overlook all the flashbacks, it isn’t that bad of a show).



At the Garage…Shawn and Max are working on a car as they both are knocking off for the trial (each for different reasons…Shawn to support his mom and Max to support Chelsea). They have a few words over their allegiances when Mimi shows up to go with Shawn. He doesn’t want her to go, saying she should be home resting. So instead, he has a surprise planned for her…as Belle shows up to take her shopping. (oh, yea, that is RESTING). They finally talk her into the shopping trip. (Belle has flashbacks of Shawn here). Max comes back all dressed and ready to go, informing Shawn that he is going to stand by Chelsea. After he leaves, Belle and Mimi take off as Shawn worries about his mom.

Later, we see Belle and Mimi at the store and as Belle talks about Claire, Mimi’s conscience starts on her again about telling the truth. She sees a magazine and picks it up to read the horoscopes. It says something about how a lie that she told will come back to haunt her. She turns and tells Belle that she has a confession to make…she doesn’t deserve to have Shawn’s baby.

Outside the Courthouse/Police Station…there is a replay of the dirty cop’s offer to Kate about the video. Kate is suspicious, thinking that someone (namely Sami) has put the cop up to this and it is a trap. The cop assures her that it is her idea only. Kate tells her no…she is afraid of getting caught and ending up in jail too. The cop tells her if she changes her mind, let her know as she hands over her telephone number.

Sami & EJ…show up at Basic Black for a meeting with Kate and are a bit upset that she isn’t there. Sami suggests they wait in her office, much to Joelle’s opposition. Once inside, Sami starts snooping around Kate’s desk and EJ is appalled over her nosiness. Sami says maybe is right and starts about the bad karma, telling him that she is trying to do better and has even written out a “to do” list of good deeds. (She explains to him like “Earl”, lol) She says that on the top of that list is to convince Lexie Carver be retested for cancer (insert flashbacks here). EJ steps out to make a call as Sami continues with her snooping. Kate returns to the office and catches her as Sami demands to know what Kate is up to. (Kate has flashbacks here of watching Sami/EJ on the roof). Kate spins a yarn about how they (Austin & Co. AND Basic Black) both need EJ for business. EJ returns as Kate turns on the charm about how she looks forward to working with him. They are going over some papers when Kate gets a phone call from Chelsea, begging for her help. Of course Sami eaves drops as Kate tells Chelsea that she may just have a way to help…just do NOT plead guilty. Kate tells Sami and EJ that she has an important call to make and asks them to give her some privacy. Kate calls the dirty cop and tells her she will accept her offer. The cop tells her that it may be too late. Kate finishes up the call and tells Sami and EJ that she has to go to the trial. Sami hopes Chelsea gets what she deserves as Kate is sure that Chelsea will go free. Sami tells her that she should be careful bribing a judge…she may very well end up in the cell right beside Chelsea. Kate laughs it off and stares Sami down. Sami thanks her for wasting their morning as Kate leaves. EJ tells Sami that he has something he wants to show her as they leave as well.

At the Brady House…Jen is helping Hope (who is a bundle of nerves) get ready for the trial. She can't decide what to wear and finally settles on a dress (after a fake flashback of Bo and Zack giving to her on a past Mother's Day). Jen tells her to remember that Chelsea is Bo’s daughter and she is afraid that all of this is going to tear them apart. She tries to convince Hope that she and Bo can work this out but as Hope has flashbacks of reading his email, she isn’t so sure. She reminds Jen of the phone call they overheard and the email. But Jen thinks they need to talk face to face…sure it is some kind of misunderstanding. (Jen must have control of the Salem brain today). She tells her that it doesn’t have to end like this and she doesn’t think that is what Hope wants either. She begs her to talk to Bo before the trial as Hope looks at a picture of them and they leave for the courthouse. Later, they arrive with Hope telling her she is taking Jen’s advice and talk to Bo and see if they can salvage their marriage…but he will have to meet her half way.

At the Police station/courthouse…Chelsea is a bundle of nerves as she blurts out to Billie that she knows that Bo and Hope will never get back together. Billie demands to know what she has done now. (Chelsea has flashbacks of writing the email and Hope reading it and rushing off.) Chelsea says if Hope testifies it will be the end of their marriage. As Billie tries to calm Chelsea down, Frankie walks out of Bo’s office. (He had been in there with Bo, telling him that the divorce papers were ready, however Hope had not signed them yet. Bo desperately wants to talk to her first). Frankie tells Bo, Billie and Chelsea that he has bad news…a different judge (or DA, I can’t remember) has been assigned to the case…a tougher one. Chelsea thinks she is dead. Frankie tries to talk her into changing her plea to guilty to a lesser charge but she refuses. Chelsea whines and cries as Bo says he is going to take full responsibility for the accident. As she is hugging Bo, she sees that Jen and Hope have walked in and taking all this in, and she turns on the tears. Bo is telling her that he will be there for her…him and Billie will stand by her. Hearing this, Hope turns and leaves. Then Bo goes on to say to Chelsea, that she has to take responsibility for what she did and accept her punishment. Max comes in as Chelsea rushes to him, begging him to take her away. Outside, Hope is upset, thinking that Bo is siding with Chelsea over her. Frankie comes out and tells her that he has the divorce papers, but urges her to wait, take time and think it through before signing them. The DA shows up and talks to Chelsea (is this common?) and tells her that with the videotape of her, this is a slam dunk and urges her to accept a plea bargain and save everyone time. Frankie urges Hope to talk to Bo before she does anything drastic. He leaves (with a nod to Jen) and Jen urges her to wait as well. Hope says she cannot drag this out any longer…she thinks it is all over with Bo. In the office, the DA asks Bo to go to the evidence room and get some evidence for another case so he does. While he is in there, we see the dirty cop snooping around. When he leaves the evidence room, she sticks her foot in the door and slips in. Max tells Chelsea not to give up it isn’t over and she says unless there is a miracle. Bo comes back from the evidence room. Hope tells Frankie that she has decided NOT to sign the papers right now, making Frankie and Jen happy. Shawn arrives, with Hope glad to see him. As they talk, Bo walks in and tells them that what happened to Zack was all his fault. But before he can say more, Billie comes in and tells them that the trial is about to begin and they all leave. Max assures Chelsea that everything is going to turn out okay. The cop from the evidence room brings the video to the DA as everyone is making their way to the courtroom. Kate arrives as Billie tells her that she feels that Chelsea is up to something…as mommy dearest tells her to relax. Bo runs into Hope in the hallway and she tells him that there is a lot riding on today…this IS his last chance…whose side is he on?...and the previews show…

Hope (on the witness stand): I want her to learn from this horrific tragedy…

Bo (also on the witness stand): If someone needs to be punished and needs to go to prison…let it be me…

EJ (to Sami): Why is it so important to you that Lexie retake the medical test?...

Jack (to someone at his bedside): It’s YOU…

Mimi (to Belle): Oh my God…something’s wrong…OMG…I’m afraid I am losing my baby…

A new day has dawned in Salem, (complete with the everpresent and overused flashbacks) as frustrated Salemites pour their hearts out to friends & family, while EJ tries to make a deal, and Kate apparently will be successful in making one of her own.

LUCAS & CARRIE visit the garage, yakking it with Shawn about the turbo engine. Lucas talks about how much money they all will make once the papers are signed. (A huge corporate conglomerate like Titan, and they have not yet drawn up & signed contracts……yet the info about this fabulous engine is supposedly already in magazines, and the racing world knows all about it???) Enter an excited Will, along with Max, just returning from a visit to the track. Max is a bit downhearted, as he did not have his best time today, and Shawn wants to know who beat him. Cue the entrance of EJ…….and the testosterone starts to float all over the place, as the guys try to out brag each other. Carrie decides to leave, and Lucas goes with her. EJ asks to see the new engine, Max is against it until the patent comes through. Shawn sees no harm in showing the drawings, and does so. He admires design, asking Shawn how he came up with it. Shawn tells him how he has worked with engines all his life, with his dad, boats, bikes, cars. EJ admires the relationship Shawn has with his dad, but Shawn says things between them are sort of messed up now. He asks EJ about HIS father, and EJ just says he never made his acquaintance…..and quickly changes the subject. EJ now offers to make a deal with Shawn about the engine, as Max comes in, protesting that EJ wants to steal their engine. EJ seems to know contracts are not yet signed with Titan, but Shawn explains how his grandfather owns the company, and his best friend, Philip, is going to underwrite Max’s racing team. EJ just smiles, and as he is leaving, lets them know he is working with Basic Black plus Austin Reed & Co. Shawn tells him he had better keep an eye on Sami, and EJ, smiling, says he intends to.

IN THEIR APT. Austin & Sami are having coffee, chatting about their new partnership with Kate. Austin thinks it will work out well, plus Sami & Kate may be able to work out their problems. Sami coyly asks him that “when hell freezes over, are you going to find me someplace warm to live”. LOL. Later, Sami is alone in the “office” (hey, for such an up & coming BIG business, should they not have offices by now – this is ridiculous) and there is a knock on the door. A delivery man with a big package for Miss Brady, asks Sami to sign for it. Out in the hall, as he is leaving, Lucas & Carrie arrive, and Carrie asks him if he had a package for Carrie Brady. Of course, and it got delivered to Sami by mistake. Ooopsy. Carrie goes to get it, opens Sami’s door, and sees her holding a wedding dress, and asking Carrie if this is hers. Carrie gets a flashback of Sami reciting vows to Austin years ago, and faints. When she comes to, she goes on and on about Kate having express delivered it over to her, Sami having opened the box, now Lucas has seen the dress, so she cannot wear it. Sami is all apologetic, but Lucas pulls her aside to scold her for getting Carrie upset. They argue, somehow get onto the subject of EJ, & Lucas learns that EJ will be working with her. He accuses her of having a crush on EJ, but Sami retaliates that she is a grown woman and doesn’t have crushes. They argue some more. Meanwhile, Carrie is telling Austin how the sight of Sami holding the dress up against her brought up the bad memories of the when Sami stole her dress design, and was marrying Austin. He is concerned about her fainting, and urges her to see a doctor, but she insists it was just stress, and she is fine.

KATE IS ACTUALLY AT WORK (sorry, I just had to remark on that), looking at pictures and brochures of EJ Wells, when Chelsea arrives. She tells her mom said Kate wanted to see her, and mentions today is her trial. (Egads, does this trial not start until 3 p.m.?) Kate tells her yes, she knows, that she has done all she can for her, and hands her a file to look at. Chelsea opens it, and lo & behold, inside is today’s newspaper. Just the place we all keep our morning newspaper. LOL. Big headline, “My Granddaughter is Not a Monster”, with the accompanying interview with Kate. Chelsea is touched that Kate still believes in her, but Kate assures her that her both her parents love her and support her, too. And Kate is sure now that when the jury sees what a sweet person (hand me the barf bag, please!) Chelsea really is, all will be well. The demon seed flashes back to changing the e-mail on the boat, and proceeds to tell Kate that she is not all that good. She then tells her all about making sure Hope heard her talking on her fake phone call, how her dad came off the boat and was talking to Hope, so she faked a text message to him for the cop shop so he would leave, and then went over to the boat to change his e-mail message to Hope, then deleted it after Hope read it and left. This all makes Kate very happy, as she comments that it is not their job to try and push Bo & Hope back together, and then goes on about how Bo & Billie will get back together. She mentions that the newspaper will have been read by the jury before they get their instructions in court and they will have a fresh picture of a sweet Chelsea in their minds. She goes on about how Chelsea is just like her, and then mentions how she intends to drive a wedge between Austin and Sami.

HOPE LOOKS AT A PICTURE OF ZACK, & remembers Bo telling her about the e-mail he had written, and then her reading it. She talks to Zack, vowing that Bo has used Zack for the last time. Bo calls, and Hope very coldly tells him to more or less, get lost, and don’t ever call her again. Jennifer arrives as Hope begins to break down. She brings Hope some hot tea, asking what happened. Hope tells her how Bo left all these messages last night, & how upset she is with him. Jen tries to make her realize how much Bo cares, talking of how he was when she was gone, but Hope will not budge. She reminds Jen of why she left Salem, of seeing Bo in the motel room with Billie, and how he slept with Billie the same day they had buried their son. They see the newspaper headline with the Kate interview, and that does not set well.

We see a female policewoman also reading the newspaper, and happily telling herself that Kate would do anything for her granddaughter. How interesting. Later, we see Kate driving Chelsea up to the police station (must be attached to the courthouse, huh?) and when Chelsea goes inside, out comes the female cop. She approaches the car window, telling Kate she recognized her from her picture in the newspaper article, and asks if she really would do anything for her granddaughter. Kate assures her she would, and asks how. The cop asks if she would be willing if it involved a large amount of cash.

BO THROWS THE PHONE across the room in disgust, startling Billie as she comes into the cop shop. A frustrated Bo tells Billie how he cannot understand Hope’s attitude, and tells her all about the previous night, taking Hope to dinner, all going well, and then Chelsea walked in. He goes on about going home, calling Marlena, how things were seemingly o.k. The boat, the e-mail, etc. Billie is appalled that he resorted to an e-mail, as no voice tone, emotion, etc. But Bo said the words were there. He continues about how Hope came to the boat, getting the text message to go to the police station, but that it was bogus, and that every time things seem to be going right, something happens and he does not know what it is. Billie does…..Chelsea! But she blames herself, then flashes back to crawling into bed with the passed out Bo at the motel, but does not tell him what she did. She is sympathetic, and they hug, just as Chelsea arrives. Bo pulls Chelsea into the hug, and we see him with one arm around Billie and the other around Chelsea.

Hope tells Jennifer she has to do this for Zack, she will face down anyone, and that includes Bo. Freeze frame on Hope’s face, with the shot of Bo with arms around Billie & Chelsea. And the previews show…

Frankie: Right now, our best option if for you to change your plea to guilty.
Chelsea: I am not going to jail, and I will never plead guilty

Sami: Kate, you have to be so careful about bribing those judges – you’ll end up in a cell next to your granddaughter

Hope to Shawn: Your dad & I should have done that with Zack. We should have protected him

Mimi to Belle: I have a confession to make. I don’t deserve to have Shawn’s baby.

Our Salemites are young and restless (oops, wrong show) as they visit, plan and plot.

AT THE LOFTS...
Belle shows Claire pictures of Uncle Brady and Aunt Chloe (we don't see them), saying they hadn't met yet and then pix of Uncle Shawn. She remembers dancing with Shawn and because it's so hot, opens the window for fresh air. She notices Mimi's out on the other terrace and Shawn joining her. Mimi says she's nervous this in vitro won't work and they won't be able to afford another go at it. She worries she'll be like her own parents and he assures her she isn't and he likes her mom, but Mimi's not like her. She wishes they had better financial security and then remembered his invention. Mimi tells him how she always wished she were Belle with the perfect life...she had everything Mimi wanted..including him. Mimi remembers when she and Belle first met Shawn on the playground in grade school. They were climbing the jungle gym and a blonde bully told them to get off as he wanted to play on it. Belle told him no and the little boy threw his soccer ball (?) at her and she fell to the ground. Shawn got off the swing and told the other boy you're not suppose to hit girls and to leave them alone. The little boy left and Belle went into his arms and gave him a long hug. Mimi said from that moment on she knew that he and Belle belonged together and probably still do. Shawn tells her to stop doing this to herself. She's smart, beautiful and his wife. She's his future, not Belle. They hear Claire cry next door as we see Belle trying to comfort her (Belle would be cooler if she didn't wear that hot robe). Shawn knows Claire's window is right off their balcony (aren't they across the hall from each other?) and they should talk quieter. Claire finally stops crying as Shawn remembers what he felt the first time he held Claire and he's excited about holding his own child for the first time as Mimi's face shows her internal turmoil, knowing he is Claire's father. Belle admits to Claire how she feels about Shawn, but not to tell her daddy.

AUSTIN REED, INC.
Austin steps out of the bedroom, apologizing to Kate for how long the call took.
On the roof...
Kate can't wait to tell Austin how Sami's throwing herself at another man. Sami tries to convince EJ to work with her and Austin and Kate tells herself that if she gets this partnership to work out, Sami's chemistry to EJ will be her undoing. EJ agrees that this idea will work out for the both of them. Kate returns and tells Austin her great idea about using EJ for both his product line and for Basic Black. Kate tells him she did some research while Austin was on the phone and EJ is very popular in Europe. She could hire him for just Basic Black, but being he's her son, willing to share him with Austin. Meanwhile EJ agrees to work with Sami and Austin.. Excited, Sami gives him a hug in gratitude before rushing down to tell Austin the good news. EJ stares longingly at her as she leaves (I do like Sami/Ali with bangs).

Back in the apartment....
Austin warns Kate that she'd be not only in business with him, but Sami too and that Sami's good at her job. He mentions wanting to get married soon if this works out. Kate gulps, but tells Austin maybe she'll see this new Sami while they work together (liar liar, pants on fire). Austin believes her lock, stock and barrel. Sami rushes in so excited and tells him how she went up on the roof and got EJ to work with them. She's not pleased when she hears about Kate's idea to use EJ as well. (looks like the words and their lips moving aren't in sync during this conversation). Sami isn't buying her and Kate having the same idea as Austin and Kate try to convince her otherwise. They talk privately and he tells Sami they'll need help and Kate's family. Ding dong...it's EJ, now wearing a shirt. Sami isn't surprised that EJ and Kate know each other as Kate answers the door. EJ's impressed that they were able to merge with Basic Black on this venture and asks how. Kate identifies herself as the Executive Director there (who never works, LOL) and Sami sarcastically explains they're just one big happy family, LOL. Austin privately tries to convince Sami they can get married sooner if this works out, so that's all Sami needs to hear. EJ talks with Kate, but watches Austin and Sami embracing.

ON THE FANCY FACE..
Bo calls Hope asking to talk about the trial, leaving a message asking her to call and said he'd email her as well. He explains in his email that he and Billie only held back the truth about Chelsea driving until they thought she could handle the truth. He asks her to give him another chance..for both their sakes and Zack's.

ON THE PIER
Hope had called Jennifer to meet her there (what, no coffee shops open?). She tells her about seeing Zack, her visit with Marlena and feeling it's a sign for her and Bo to reunite. Jen tells her she has to move forward just as she did after losing Jack. Chelsea overhears Jen and Hope talking down the pier and pretends loudly to be talking to Max and saying that Bo is only pretending to want to reunite with Hope so she'll go easy at the trial. Hope confronts her, asking what she's up to. They argue and Chelsea leaves. Jen tries to convince Hope that Bo does want to get together and Bo pops on deck and agrees with her when she says Bo doesn't want her to testify. He says he was just emailing her downstairs about the trial (oh great, can see it now...Chelsea's lurking nearby and will probably go change the email before sending it). Yup...we see her take off her shoes and climb down the ladder into the water to swim to the boat. Bo got a call from the station that he has a situation there. He suggests Hope go read his email while he's gone. Chelsea decided her dress from Paris she's wearing won't be able to worn in prison, so she'll sacrifice it for her swim. Bo tells Hope he wrote the email from his heart and heads off to the station. We see Hope and Jen head for the boat as Chelsea (wrapped in towel) finishes up her email modification and runs to the bedroom. (wonder of wonders, Hope doesn't notice the chair just vacated by the sopping wet Chelsea, is even damp) Hope reads that Bo tells her he wants their marriage to work and he loves her..but if she testifies at the trial against Chelsea, that their marriage is over. (and gee, no water spots, wet footprints on the floor, or even pools of water on the deck where Chelsea obviously had to hoist herself over the side....o.k. everyone....roll your eyes, too! ) Hope leaves upset, with Jen in her wake, as the devil child snickers, saying she should feel sorry for Hope, but she doesn't. She returns to the computer and changes it back to what it said. Hope tells Jennifer that she has made her decision and this time it's forever ... as the previews roll...

EJ TO SHAWN: I know that Titan has made you an offer, but I'll double it. Name your price.Max walks in and says: I knew it, you want my engine!

LUCAS TO SAMI: I knew it, you have a crush on EJ.

HOPE TO JEN: (First few words were said too fast to understand), but something that she'll go against anyone she needs too, including Bo and God give her strength.

BILLIE TO BO: Chelsea's not the one to blame, I am.

Summary: Sami tries to convince EJ to go into business with her and Austin to win Shawn’s account…Kate meets EJ and is quite taken with him…Marlena is having a hard time with her guilt, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to help Hope.

On the side of the road…Kate is on the phone, it seems that her car died. She is upset that it will take 45 minutes for a tow truck to get there. EJ happens by and offers to give her a hand, telling her that he is pretty good with cars (calling her a beautiful lady in distress). However, he doesn’t have the tools to fix it. They introduce themselves and she asks if he is hitting on her, as he asks her if she WANTS him to.

At Sami’s place…she rushes in to tell Austin her big idea (while, it seems that he is on the phone with Nicole). She thinks they need to get a more famous racer to promote the new invention. She drags him out in the hall where they find EJ. She tells him that she can help him get his piece of the American dream. She fills Austin in who EJ is and is all excited but he flatly turns her down. Sami can’t understand, but he says that would not be a part of his plan. Austin gets a call and walks away. As EJ gets Sami a soda, she noses through a folder lying on his desk. He walks up and closes it and then changes the subject asking her if it is okay to exercise on the roof and she tells him that Austin does it all the time. Austin has work to do so he and Sami leave. Back in her apartment, she is bummed that EJ wasn’t interested. She asks Austin what he thinks of EJ and she thinks he is hiding something. Kate drops in and immediately insults Sami, who retreats to her room. Austin chastises Kate for being so rude and she starts in on him about proposing to Sami, when it is Carrie that he loves. She says maybe she wasn’t the best example…she married a man who beat her, but at least she didn’t marry him twice. She talks about all the things that Sami has done to hurt him and he keeps coming back for more. She says that he is giving Sami exactly what she wants. He doesn’t want to talk about it anymore and changes the subject. She tells him that her car broke down but she met someone nice out of it. Austin goes to make a phone call as Kate looks out the fire escape and sees Sami climbing up the ladder. She tells Austin she has to go and rushes out to follow Sami. Sami is telling herself that she has to find a way to change EJ’s mind. She climbs up to the roof and finds him lifting weights. She tells him that she needs to talk to him and change his mind. He comes on to her and she goes to leave but he stops her (as Kate is watching all this, thinking he is a hottie and Sami just can’t help herself. She says that she is sure that Sami will self-destruct…with a little help from her friend, Kate).

At the Penthouse…Marlena is upset and John wants her to talk to him. She is stressing out over the miscarriage. She knows it was an accident but she is angry that so much time passed and she wasn’t able to deal with it, saying it has made it even more painful. John wants to help her but she is beating herself up, saying she isn’t who she thought she was. He is very supportive but she says she betrayed him and maybe she didn’t love the baby enough. She says it is like losing DJ all over again…she feels shattered and empty. (Yes, she mentions DJ). John says that he is there for her and will help her do whatever it takes. She asks how can he forgive her, she was unfaithful to him. He tries to convince her that they BOTH thought the other were dead and she did nothing wrong, for he did the same with Kate. She asks how can he be forgiving and he says it is because he loves her. He gets a call from Bo who asks if Marlena can come over to help Hope (see below). He offers to drive her over, but she says this is something she can do for herself. Before she leaves, he tells her that he is okay with what they talked about.

At the Brady house…Chelsea is eaves dropping as Bo is telling Hope that he will never let her go. She asks him to leave and she walks in and finds Zack calling “help me Mommy”. She screams and Bo rushes back in and holds her. She is upset as Bo assures her that it wasn’t real. She thinks that Zack was trying to tell her something, but Bo thinks it is just all the stress she is under. She tells him that it wasn’t the first time, she also saw Zack while on the island. She says she dreams of him all the time and misses him so much. She thinks that after the trial and Chelsea is punished, maybe Zack can rest in peace and her life can move forward. Later, Bo tells her that he called Marlena and she is coming over to help and she thanks him. Bo tells her she asked him earlier who’s side she is on and he tells her that he is on her side…he will be supporting HER. (Outside, Chelsea’s face drops). Bo explains that he does want justice for Zack, but he just didn’t want to see Chelsea hurt as well. But, he says, she has to learn from her mistakes and pay for what she has done.

He beats himself up for being a bad parent to all his children…he let all of them down. He says he will not let Zack…or Hope down. He needs and misses her…without her, he doesn’t know who he is. Marlena arrives and Bo asks Hope if she wants him to leave and she says yes. He tells them if they need him to call…he will be on the boat. After he leaves, Marlena asks Hope why she asked him to leave when she can tell she wanted him to stay. She says she doesn’t know why she pushed him away…maybe out of habit…she just isn’t the same since Zack died. She tells Marlena about seeing Zack earlier and how it upset her. She calls herself a failure for not protecting him and allowing it to destroy her marriage. Marlena is sure that she and Bo will find their way back to each other. Hope wants closure by seeing Chelsea punished and Marlena asks which she wants more…that punishment or her marriage? Hope says that Zack would want his parents together. She also tells Marlena that she and Bo are on the same page when it comes to the trial but Marlena isn’t so convinced. She thinks that Bo should be there with her now. Marlena thinks that Hope is angry at Bo and finding it hard to forgive him. Hope agrees, saying he lied to her, cheated on her and betrayed her (as Marlena is thinking that SHE did the same to John). But she still loves him…just not sure she can let him back into her life. Hope says they should have been grieving over Zack together, even though Marlena points out that Bo was pulled in 2 different directions. Hope says they should fight to save their marriage, but she just isn’t so sure she has anything left to fight with. Outside, a dejected Chelsea says that tomorrow it will all be over for her and she leaves.

On the docks…Bo and John run into each other, both down on themselves. John talks about what a tough situation Bo is in. Bo tells John that he told Hope that he will not protect Chelsea anymore…he just hopes that it isn’t too late for them. He says he hopes Chelsea can survive, come through this and learn from her mistakes. He knows there is no guarantee that Hope will forgive him. But John is sure that their love will see them through this, but Bo isn’t so sure. He says if Hope can’t forgive him, he doesn’t know what he will do. We see him later by himself, talking to himself. He says how much he misses his Fancy Face and prays that she will give him another chance.

Back at the penthouse…Marlena returns home to find John waiting on her. She tells him that she thinks Hope is feeling better and will be a lot better after the trial. She says that she and Hope are in similar situations and maybe they helped each other. She tells him that Hope is going to try and move on after tomorrow and Marlena thinks that she should as well. She tells him it is so sad to lose a child, but she couldn’t bear to lose HIM…he means so much to her and she loves him so much. She thanks him for never giving up on her. They kiss as he holds her.

After Marlena is gone, Hope looks at a picture of her and Bo, then turns and sees Zack again, asking where daddy is. She tells him that he will be home soon and they will all be together again. He is excited and hi-fives her. She says she MUST fight for her marriage, grabs her things and runs out the door…as the previews show…

Mimi (to Shawn): I used to wish I was Belle…(Shawn): You’re kidding…(as Belle listens)…

EJ (to Sami): You are desperate to get involved with me, aren’t you?...professional, obviously, I mean…

Bo (typing): I have found a way to forgive her and I hope you can do the same…

Chelsea (also typing): There’s no way I can let Hope read this…the way it was…

Hope: This is the last time…I have made my decision…forever…

Chelsea: So long, Hope…

Our Salemites return to their homes to unwind after a long, hot day as the loft dwellers kick up the heat a few notches; Sami gets a thrill ride with EJ; and Bo continues pursuing Hope.

AT THE LOFTS….
The loft dwellers return home to their hot apartments. Claire’s spending the night with John and Marlena in their AC’d penthouse. Belle offers Mimi her maternity clothes and Philip shows Shawn a check to tempt him into making him part of the racing team. Belle makes it perfectly clear she doesn’t want him driving. Philip is determined and says if something did happen to him, Claire’s Godfather would be there for her. Mimi says no she won’t..then covers by saying she knows Philip and Shawn will always be there for Claire. Belle apologizes for making everyone uncomfortable and Shawn is anxious to get Mimi home to their fan. Once home he’s anxious to massage her feet up and swears he can feel the baby in her stomach. He spouts off in vitro terms and Mimi tells him enough…she only has one thing on her mind as they start to heat up the loft a few more degrees. Shawn stops her, remembering having sex might mess things up. He tells her that sex isn’t recommended for 2-3 weeks as it might mess up the in vitro process. Mimi tells him there’s other ways they can have fun and as she cools him off with an ice cube, he loves the way her mind works. Later we join them afterwards as he’s anxiously looking forward to his first child. Cue Mimi’s sad expression. (I've gotten emails that bedrest is highly recommended for women in this stage of in vitro process and even dinner out not recommended.)

Across the hall Belle and Philip chat about his driving and he promises not to take stupid chances that would take him away from her and Claire. They decide to try for another baby right there on the couch…we rejoin them in their bed after round 1 and they move on to round two being it’s a good time of the month for her. (guess she figures she can buy new maternity clothes and Mimi can’t)

SAMI, SAMI, SAMI…..
A crying Sami talks to EJ in the park. Of course he’s Mr. Sympathy. Max (in a suit) walks up and we learn he knows EJ from the European race circuit. He’s surprised to learn EJ’s already settled into Salem and worried about the competition as the two friends gaffaw and slap each other’s shoulders. Sami’s surprised to learn EJ’s a famous European race car driver (hey, at least he lives in an apartment, not over a garage as famous Max does, LOL) and points out that Max is her Uncle Max. The two guys tell old racing stories about how EJ became well respected and successful. After Max leaves, EJ says he’s not the man of mystery Sami thinks and his life is an open book as they chuckle (and we see) about the dropped towel incident when they met. He offers her a ride home to show her how fast he can drive. As they tear through Salem town in his souped up convertible, Sami can’t get enough of it (was waiting for her real life husband, a CHP officer, to pull EJ over and give him a ticket, LOL). He calls her Samantha “Jean” and after they park outside of town, she puts together his knowledge of her coincidences and asks him who he is and why is he there. He denies it, saying he saw SJ on her stationery and Jean was the only viable name for her. (EXCEPT FOR HER MIDDLE NAME BEING GENE AS SHE'S NAMED AFTER EUGENE WHO WAS MARLENA'S BEST FRIEND AT THE TIME...SO HER MIDDLE INITIAL WOULD BE "G", NOT "J"). She buys it and she tells him about her determination to get Austin again and is working on her positive karma. He believes he’s the master of his own fate. She cites how the bad things she’s done turn around and bite her and now Austin might lose the deal with Shawn because of her and see her as a liability. EJ laughs that her fiancée won’t break up over a business deal. He does ask about Shawn’s turbo engine and she tells him she doesn’t know anything about it (word spreads fast apparently). She wants to change the subject and says there must be a woman out there for him and he says yes, and he’s with her right now. Sami tells him she’s engaged and she loves her fiancée. He laughs, realizing how she misunderstood what he said. He meant his car, his one love is his car right now. He denies having a girlfriend and she can’t understand that as he’s such a hunk (my words, not hers) and asks if he’s gay then. He says no and she gets him to tell her how there was a woman he met and fell in love with at Oxford. She chose her career over him. He understood she had goals too and is very successful as a corporate executive now. Had he given up his goals, he would have stayed in London and had a family. He fires up his car and races down the road home. She can see Austin’s home already and figures he’s probably working on rectifying their problem with Shawn and Max. EJ says he’s quite sure that they could easily find another driver to work with them. That gives Sami an idea (duh) and she’s anxious to tell Austin. He gallantly gets out and opens her door after assuring her that Austin loves her and it’s easy to see by the way he looks at her. He takes a deep breath after she’s gone inside.

AT CHEZ ROUGE…
After she sees Hope and Bo (see below) Max joins Chelsea as she tells him that Hope is out to get her and she’s serious about getting Hope out of the picture. Max asks what she expects him to do, put a hit out on her? He realizes Chelsea’s done something he doesn’t know about and we see a flashback of her sending emails to Hope and Bo. She denies doing anything (of course). Max warns her if she does anything, it’ll just put her name in headlines again which she doesn’t need. She doesn’t want to go home. Max takes her home anywhere and they find the house empty and Billie’s car gone. Chelsea asks Max to give her a memorable night together before they send her away. Max thankfully has matured since we first met him and knows her first time should be memorable.

Bo offers to do anything to show Hope his loyalty. Chelsea walks in and Hope tells him if he’s serious, he has to make a decision as to whose side he’s on. Cue Chelsea’s wounded deer look. Hope walks away, knowing the answer. Bo tears into Chelsea about why she came over, knowing it would make things worse and she gives her token apology and saying she knows whose side he’s on. Bo catches up to Hope, but she’s not interested in dinner anymore, only in making sure Chelsea pays for what she did. He follows her home and begs her to let him stay with her the night, saying they need each other. Not interested, Hope tells him to go to the boat and call Billie. She’s the one he should be with tonight. Bo’s not buying it and realizes that’s not just it, she wants to be with Patrick. Hope tells him she doesn’t have any plans with Patrick, but wants Bo to leave. She’ll see him in court the next day. He vows to never give up on her and she tells him he has to. Bo leaves and Hope opens the door and turns on the light (not shutting the door). She’s startled as she sees Zack standing on the chair with his arms outstretched saying “Mommy, Mommy, help me”. She calls out ZACK…as the previews roll….

Sami anxiously tells Austin: “I know how we can get Shawn and Max’s account away from Lucas.”

Kate to EJ: “Mr. Wells, are you hitting on me?”
EJ: “That rather depends.”
Kate: “On what?”
EJ: “Do you want me to?”

Marlena to John: “I broke our marriage vows. I became pregnant by Roman and you call that nothing?”

Bo to Hope (with Chelsea eavesdropping through the open window): “I’ve decided which side I’m on at the trial.”
Hope (sounding more calm after talking with Zack apparently): “Bo, I already know the answer.”
