Episode # 10284; Tape Date: 3/4/06; Air Date: 4/2/06; Director: Albert Alarr
(Cheryl's picture site seemed to be down...The ones added are courtesy of Bev's Marlena Day Ahead Pictures).
Summary: John is determined to stop Marlena’s wedding to Alex, but his friends and family intervene…Frankie takes Jen away for the weekend…and just when you think Chelsea couldn’t get any worse, she stoops to a NEW LOW! In case you didn’t know already….this girl is pure evil.
At the Deveraux house…Frankie and Jen arrive, talking and worrying about Bo and Hope. Frankie thinks that Jen needs a vacation to get away from all this and he suggests Green Mountain. He says she needs to relax and have some fun but she isn’t so sure about it, she things it is a big step. Maggie arrives, suitcase in hand, to stay with Abby and Jack Jr. (Frankie had already called her). He goes upstairs as Maggie tries to tell her that getting away will do her good, but Jen thinks it is moving too fast. She admits to having feelings for Frankie, but she feels like everyone is pushing them together. Maggie says everyone just wants her to be happy. But Jen says she is afraid of “happy”…she was happy with Jack and has ended up mourning him 3 times. Maggie reminds her she is a single woman and deserves to have a good time. Maggie also reminds her of what Alice always says “Life doesn’t wait for you to live it”. Jen finally gives in and decides to go. Maggie tells them to have a good time and not to worry about a thing as they leave.
Later, Frankie and Jen are at Green Mountain Lodge in the bar/restaurant and he asks her to dance. She is still uneasy and he notices she is tense and asks if she is okay. He knows she doesn’t really want to be there. They go back to the table as she thinks she needs to tell him they are moving too fast. He goes over to a waitress and returns with a rose.
Chelsea (aka spawn of Satan)…is having flashbacks of talking with Frankie about her case and says she won’t be going to jail as long as Bo and Hope are apart. She sends something to Hope on the computer, saying Hope won’t know what hit her. She is sure that her plan will work and she won’t go to jail as long as Bo is on her side. She says she will do what she has to…and if Hope gets hurt…well, that’s too bad. She notices that Bo didn’t log out of his email account earlier and gets an idea. She decides to leave it open, in case Hope replies.
Meanwhile, Hope is checking her email and it is an article from the Salem Chronicle about Shawn & Mimi’s wedding. She gets upset when she sees pictures from the ceremony (one showing Billie & Chelsea, and captioned as “uninvited guests”). She reads the article about how the wedding stopped and Shawn tossed them out. She is upset with Shawn for not telling her about the wedding, but realizes he did that to protect her feelings. She reads the article and gets more upset to learn that Bo comforted Chelsea. She can’t read any more, so Patrick reads it to her. (Man, this sure is a detailed article about a wedding!, LOL). The article goes on to talk about Bo and Hope’s separation because of Chelsea. She goes back to read and sees a picture of Bo hugging Chelsea. She asks what the HELL is wrong with Bo?...taking up for Chelsea. Hope says it is now clear that he prefers being with Chelsea and Billie over her and Shawn. Patrick tries to assure her that Bo loves her but she says this is only proof that he has turned his back on her. She says it’s over…she wants a divorce. Patrick can’t believe she would say that, saying she needs to talk to Bo. But she says she doesn’t want to talk to him…she has made up her mind. Patrick reminds her that she and Bo have been in love since they were kids and urges her to think about it as Hope has a long series of flashbacks of them together. (Lots of good memories here…the kissing booth, her rescue from the Welch wedding, riding the motorcycle, their wedding, the boat, etc. The music montage is set to the song, “I Can’t Live Without Your Love”). After this, Patrick tells her not to make a huge mistake…don’t give up on Bo. He tries to get her to call him, but before she does…an email comes in. Apparently, Hope had emailed Bo that she wanted a divorce, because the reply is from Chelsea…she was thrilled to see that Hope replied to her and she decides to respond back. in the email (as Bo) she tells her that there is no way they can stay together. She also puts that he loves Chelsea and if that means that they (Bo and Hope) have no future, then so be it. He won’t contest the divorce…he will be there for Chelsea and Billie. What they had is over and it is best they go their separate ways. She hits “send” and smiles an evil grin a she says “read it and weep Hope”. On the other end, Hope reads the mail and is shocked she begins to cry and tells Patrick that Bo has agreed to the divorce. He tries to comfort her as she cries…it’s over…it’s over. Chelsea gloats over her victory and says it is working perfectly…all she has to do now is cover her tracks…as Hope cries uncontrollably.
At the Church…Marlena proceeds down the aisle as Belle pouts at the altar. Marlena asks Alex if he is okay and he says it will be as soon as she says “I do”. The service starts (funny to hear how Father Jansen calls her Marlena Evans-North). Alex has a flashback of overhearing Marlena tell Kate that John is her true love and him giving her the injection. Roman tells Abe that he is sure that John is nearby. Shawn looks up and sees a shadow in the grate, so he and Roman go rushing up there. Abe sends Tek to the confessional with his gun to cover John. Upstairs, John aims at Alex as Tek has his gun on John. Roman instructs Tek to hold his fire and not shoot unless necessary. Shawn and Roman arrive upstairs but the door is locked where John is. John has Alex in his line of fire, but he and Marlena move to light a candle. Belle is praying her mom won’t go through with it. Father Jansen asks if there are any objections as Marlena turns and stares at a distraught Belle. Mimi has a flashback of Belle stopping her wedding, wondering if Belle will do it again, LOL. Belle doesn’t utter a sound, so the wedding resumes. Roman is yelling at John through the door, trying to stop him, but John ignores him, determined to kill Alex…as Roman and Shawn try to break down the door. The vows are underway (as Mimi notes that Marlena sounds like a zombie). Marlena has flashbacks of her vows with John and stops. Alex opens his hand and she looks down to see the necklace (that he was using at one time to hypnotize her) and she resumes. Roman radios Abe, telling him that they have found John, but can’t stop him and they tell Tek to hold his fire. Through the door, Roman tries to stop John, telling him that if he shoots, so will Tek. John says that doesn’t matter, if he kills Alex he will get the death penalty anyway. Shawn radios Belle (I guess she is wearing an earpiece as well) and tells her where John is. She looks up and sees the gun. She says she has to stop this, just as John is ready to pull the trigger. She steps over in front of Alex (between him and John and just stares up toward the grate). Shawn rushes into the chapel and sees what she has done and tries to get her to move, but she won’t. John is begging for Belle to move, but she won’t budge…as the ceremony proceeds. Roman and Abe burst in to the room as Abe talks John down. He finally puts the gun down and begins to sob.
Alex and Marlena are now married and the ceremony is over as Shawn rushes over to Belle. She is saying she can’t believe they are married and Shawn tells her to accept it…sometimes the wrong people end up together. He hugs her…as Mimi watches.. Roman and Abe now have John down in the vestibule area as Marlena and Alex pass by. Smarmy Alex goads John, telling him they are married and there won’t be a reception…he is too anxious to get to his wedding night and they leave. John goes after him, but Abe and Roman restrain him…as the previews show…Frankie (to Jen): I really want this evening to be special for you… (Jen): I can’t do this…
Hope (to Patrick): I think Zack’s death gave Bo the excuse he was looking for to get out of our marriage…
Billie (to Bo): What you just wrote to her was beautiful and there’s not a woman in the world who wouldn’t read those words and not come running straight back to you…
Chelsea (showing Kate her computer): Bo’s reply to Hope…it’s a good thing it came to my computer first, huh?...
And the credits roll…

Episode: 10,283 Directed by Herb Stein
Tape Date: 3/8/06
Jennifer visits Bo; Patrick tries to talk Hope into returning home; Chelsea is Chelsea; Alex and Marlena's wedding starts with guns everywhere.
BRADY HOME
Jennifer finds Bo planting some of Hope’s favorite flowers in their backyard. Once that’s done, he plans on painting the master bedroom with the color Hope found a while back (is he on leave from the force?). He’s trying to make Hope’s homecoming as welcome as possible. Jennifer suggests that Bo take charge if he wants Hope home and reminds him of other times he’s taken charge, but he says this time she needs to come home on her own. If he can’t forgive himself for what happened, how can he expect Hope to? He explains he wants Hope home when she’s ready to be home and knows Zack would have wanted her to forgive Chelsea for what happened. Jennifer point blank tells Bo that Chelsea knows how to get her way. He says that’s harsh, but Jennifer says maybe prison is what Chelsea needs right now. Bo sort of agrees, but doesn’t want to lose another child right now. Jennifer says if it’s a fair sentence it might be the best thing for her. Jennifer asks if Chelsea wants to be part of a family with him and Hope or him and Billie?
MORGAN ISLAND
Hope’s back is still sore and Patrick recommends she return to Salem to see a doctor and get some physical therapy. He tells her she needs to try. She thanks him for all he’s done and letting her stay there. He tells her how torn Bo must feel right now after all that’s happened and they had promised to be together forever. Hope sees a couple kissing nearby and we see that couple morph into her and Bo kissing. She admits loving Bo, but says it’s a trust issue now. They talk about if Billie and Chelsea are with Bo all the time (she tells him how Chelsea answered the phone when she called). Patrick knows how Chelsea can be.
The EVIL Teen
Frankie tells Chelsea and Billie he can’t guarantee that he’ll keep her out of jail. The evil teen d
emands he must. Frankie says she needs to convince everyone how remorseful she is about the accident. Chelsea has those that will testify on her behalf, but says she needs to make sure Hope doesn’t return before the trial. Billie rolls her eyes as Frankie looks at her. They aren’t sure how Bo’s testimony will go being he’s torn between his wife and daughter. Frankie leaves and orders Chelsea to stay out of trouble. She says she’ll try. Billie tells Chelsea she knows what Chelsea’s thinking (calling her little missy, LOL) and warns her not to think about doing anything to come between Bo and Hope. Chelsea promises not to interfere and says she’s learned her lesson. Billie says she’s heard that before! Chelsea asks to check her email and tells Billie she’ll have to earn Billie’s trust back. Alone Chelsea says there’s no way she’s letting that witch Hope send her to prison. She has to keep her away from her dad and knows how to do it. She sends an email and Hope just happens to walk past the laptop. They hear an email came in and Patrick suggests Hope look at it. She says Bo’s emailed her a couple of times a day and when she does look at it, says Oh my God, I don’t believe this.
Frankie pops in after (literally) just leaving Billie and Chelsea..he saw Jen’s car in the driveway. He’s not giving up, but says it won’t be easy to keep Chelsea out of jail. Jennifer tells Bo that Frankie’s a good man and won’t give up.
AT THE CHAPEL
Marlena calmly assures Kate she’s going to be happily married to Alex. Kate disagrees. Outside the room Alex tries to keep Belle from seeing her mother before the ceremony, saying Marlena doesn’t have time to talk to her. Belle reminds Alex she’s not only her daughter, but her matron of honor and knocks on the bridesroom door. Marlena knows Belle will try to talk her out of marrying Alex (she tells Kate), and asks Alex to escort Belle to the chapel. He happily agrees and does so.
We see John dressed as a nun pushing carts around as no one (including Tek) takes time to look at the nuns face. In fact, he even asks her back if she’s seen John Black around. Sister John shakes his head no and scurries out of the room. Newlyweds Shawn and Mimi don’t understand what’s going on as Salem PD’s top 3 cops say they can’t stop Alex from marrying Marlena. Tek (Salem’s finest marksman) has orders to kill John if need be. (where are Philip, Claire, Sami?) John finds a quiet place and removes his headgear and makeup. Later he is in mercenary gear and priming his rifle. He puts the rifle through the elevated grate looking down upon the chapel and satisfied with his location. He remembers when Marlena visited him at the jail and told him no more appeals would be granted. She cursed him for what he had done, but he knew she’d understand and appreciate why he did it one day. He knows she’ll understand this time too. Later he sees some flowers near where Alex will be standing and to just to make sure his rifle works, shoots into them. Mimi heard the whoosh of the bullet passing by and wondered what it was.
Marlena has some memories of her and John in the shower together and feeding each other marshmallows. She then remembers telling Alex how safe she feels with him. Alex stands outside the door waiting for reassurances that she loves him and will join him soon as Kate watches Marlena’s uncertainty. She says Alex did do something to you, didn’t he. Marlena agrees. She claims Alex taught her the true meaning of love. She denies that Alex has manipulated her and she loves him. She can’t live in the past and maybe Kate can find happiness with John. She asks Kate for some time alone to collect her thoughts and Kate leaves. She remembers marrying John and what she told him about the ring symbolizing their never ending love.
In the chapel Mimi assures Belle they’ll find John before anything happens. She’s sorry things didn’t go the way Belle wanted, but life happens like that sometimes. Belle apologizes for interrupting her and Shawn’s honeymoon (still picturing Belle in a boat like in Phantom of the Opera steering towards the Horton Cabin to get Shawn’s help, LOL) . Mimi asks, as do we, why Belle didn’t get her own husband’s help, Belle says she was on autopilot and needed Shawn to help her. (isn’t Philip wondering where his wife is?) Mimi reminds Belle that her husband Philip is a trained Marine and much more qualified (as are the Salem PD) than Shawn is. Mimi clarifies this is just one night interrupted and she and Shawn have the rest of their lives together.
The wedding march begins and Belle’s at the altar already as just Marlena walks down the aisle to Alex. We see Shawn in his leather jacket (didn’t even dress for the wedding?) as he spots the rifle waving through the grate above. He points it out to Salem’s Top 3 who are too busy talking instead of observing. Roman and Shawn scurry to try and stop John while Abe tells Tek there’s a rifle in the confessional and not to shoot John unless he’s sure John’s going to shoot. Abe prays John can be stopped before it’s too late. We see Tek waving the gun outside the confessional curtains as John’s trigger finger get itchy as the previews roll….
Chelsea looks at her computer, happy to have front row seats after Hope goes ballistic.
HOPE looks at her computer and tells Patrick she wants a divorce.
FRANKIE TO JENNIFER: I want to take you to Green Mountain Lodge and show you a good time.
SHAWN TO BELLE: Sometimes the wrong people end up together.
JOHN to himself: Forgive me for what I’m about to do, but it’s the only way I can get him away from her.
As the credits roll..

Thursday March 30, 2006
Summary: On her wedding day, Marlena makes a startling admission to Kate, which she later recants…Lucas pops the question to Carrie and doesn’t quite get the reply he is expecting…Belle runs to Shawn for help…John is bound and determined to take Alex down…Celeste intervenes between Lexie and Tek.
Celeste is at home (I think) playing with her Tarot cards, saying that the spirit world is restless and she must do something.
At the Horton cabin... Belle bursts in on Shawn and Mimi’s honeymoon, telling them that someone is going to die today if they don’t do something. She remembers overhearing Kate and John talking and tells them that he is planning to kill Alex. Shawn tries to calm her down (as Mimi is clearly, and understandably, annoyed). He asks what is going on as Belle explains and begs him to help her find her dad. He gives in, as Mimi decides to go as well. Shawn apologizes to Mimi for this, but Mimi asks why Belle didn’t turn to her OWN husband as they head out to the church.
In the church…Lucas asks Carrie to marry him and she is speechless. Austin and Sami are witness to all this as Carrie tells Lucas she can’t and rushes out of the church. Lucas is determined to chase after her as Austin and Sami stop him. But he is determined to go after her, lashing out at Sami in the process and storms off. Sami is upset at the things Lucas said, but swears to Austin she is okay. She admits she thought that Carrie would choose Austin. Lucas finds Carrie outside and apologizes for rushing her. She says she does want a relationship with him, but wants to take it slow. They talk about Sami being in their lives and Carrie asks him if he is SURE he is over Sami. He swears he is and then jokes around about his proposal. He promises to take it slow. Carrie asks for some time alone so Lucas goes back inside. She turns around to find Austin there. Lucas goes in and runs into Sami. She asks him how it went, but he is vague. She wants to know if Carrie accepted, but he really doesn’t want to talk about it with Sami and leaves as she follows right on his heels. He tells Sami that he knows he and Carrie will end up together, but there is no hope for her and Austin…Sami will end up alone. She points out to him that if Carrie had chosen Austin, then Lucas would be wanting to get back together with HER. Lucas denies this, saying he has always loved Carrie. Sami says that Carrie doesn’t love him…he is her second choice…Austin is the one she loves. Lucas hits right back, saying that Austin isn’t interested in Sami either. Carrie tells Austin she feels bad about the way she just treated Lucas, but she really doesn’t want to talk about that with Austin. So Austin changes the subject and starts talking about the weather, LOL. He ends with telling her that he just wants her happy. She thanks him and hugs him. Inside, Lucas apologizes to Sami for making her cry, but he says that is just their dynamic…they always end up arguing. Lucas says they just weren’t meant to be together and she should get used to it. Even though they (and Will) will always be a family. Lucas promises going forward to be civil around Sami (for Will’s sake). She goes to leave and he tells her he wishes her luck with Austin as she just looks at him.Kate asks Marlena if she remembers her life with John (as she has flashbacks of their wedding). A confused Marlena says she is marrying Alex, but her heart is with John…he is her true love (as Alex is listening at the door holding a syringe, saying he is sorry to hear that). She tells Kate the feelings she is having is like déjà vu. Alex continues to listen at the door, wanting John to make a move on him, then he can be put away for good. Kate thinks she should go get Lexie and have her take a look at Marlena. On the way to find Lexie, Kate says if this is true (Marlena remembering) then she (Kate) doesn’t stand a chance with John.
Lexie arrives at the church…to be greeted by Tek. She asks if they have found John yet and he tells her no. He tells her to be careful…she is his life. She thanks him for his concern, but she is worried about John and Marlena right now. She wishes she could help them, but Alex is blackmailing her. Tek asks how Alex knows about them and she explains. He is furious, but she begs him not to do anything. Kate comes up, telling her about Marlena and Lexie goes with her to help. After Lexie leaves, walks up, calling Tek a bastard and slaps him across the face. He blasts her for her interference, citing that Celeste was never a mother to Lexie, she didn’t even raise her…why the concern now? She pleads for him to leave Lexie alone, saying she will not allow him to ruin her daughter’s life. He says that Lexie is a grown woman, and doesn’t need Celeste’s protection. He says he is good for Lexie, but Celeste wants him to stay away from her…OR she will make sure Lexie learns the truth about him. He refuses to stay away. After he leaves, Celeste frets over Lexie, saying it is up to her to get Lexie and Abe back together and vows to stop Tek.
Meanwhile, Roman and Abe warn Alex and try to get him to call off the wedding, realizing that John wants him dead. Roman gives the order to not let John near the church. After Alex leaves, Roman and Abe think that Alex is just wanting John to make an attempt on his life as Abe points out that Alex has been goading him for quite a while. Later, Roman tells Abe they have looked everywhere, but can’t find John or Alex. Alex is in with Marlena now, giving her an injection, telling her to close her eyes and when he counts to 3, she won’t remember he was with her…and will only remember that she loves him and is going to marry him. As Kate and Lexie rush to her aid, Lexie gushes about how happy she is that Marlena is remembering her past with John. She notices the pain on Kate’s face and apologizes. Kate talks about how close she and John have become and how she now has mixed emotions about Marlena’s recovery. They go in to see Marlena and Kate urges Marlena to tell Lexie what she told her. Marlena denies it all, saying she does NOT love John at all and acts as if Kate is nuts. Alex is hiding and listening as Marlena tells them she loves Alex. Kate says that just a few minutes ago, she saw sparks of the “old” Marlena, but now she is different…what happened? They both think that there is something wrong there. Lexie wants to talk to Marlena, so Kate leaves. Marlena tells Lexie that she doesn’t know why Kate said that. Lexie insists that something is wrong (as she has flashbacks of seeing Alex hypnotize Marlena). She realizes that John was right all along…Alex has been brainwashing her…but she can’t do anything to help them now. Mimi, Shawn and Belle arrive as Kate sees them, asking Mimi what the HELL is going on. She berates Mimi for letting Belle interrupt their honeymoon. She tells her that if she doesn’t keep Belle away from Shawn, she will regret it. Belle and Shawn try to get Roman’s help to find John, but he tells them to leave. Alex shows up as Abe asks where he has been and Alex tells him to leave him alone. Abe gets a call from the commissioner and he wants to talk to Roman privately. As Abe and Roman talk, Belle apologizes to Shawn and thanks him for his help, as he hugs her (with Mimi watching). Abe tells Roman that it’s bad news…John is in trouble. Shawn tells Belle this is not fair to Mimi or Philip…he can’t continue to do this, as he goes to Mimi. Lexie tells Kate that Marlena wouldn’t admit to what she said as they wonder what kind of hold Alex has on her. Abe tells Roman that he was told if John shows up at the church, they have orders to take him out.In the woods…John is playing with his gun, vowing to kill Alex. He thinks that Abe and Roman are going to make it almost impossible to get to him. He has a blue print of the church and realizes that there are catacombs beneath it (oh brother). He searches for the perfect way to get inside. Later he says he has his plan and packs up his stuff and heads out for the church, vowing to protect Marlena. He arrives at the church and says he won’t let Alex hurt Marlena…he’s going in…as the previews show…
Bo (to Jennifer): My wife wants to give up on our marriage…if I can’t forgive myself, how can I expect her to forgive me?...
Hope (to Patrick): If Bo hadn’t been so taken in by Chelsea’s manipulations…my baby would still be here…
Marlena (to Alex): Everything allright?...(Alex): It will be as soon as you say I do…
John (watching Alex through his gun scope): As soon as North says I do…he is a dead man…
And the credits roll…

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29, 2006 Episode #10,281
Tape date-3/6
Director Albert Alarr
A new day has dawned in Salem, as everyone gets ready for the renewal of vows between Alex & Marlena, tho John’s plans are quite different from the others’. Marlena continues to have memories of her life with John.
LUCAS MAKES BREAKFAST for Carrie, happy she made her decision. She goes for the paper, just as Austin opens his own door. (how convenient, huh?) He wonders why she chose Lucas when she still has strong feelings for him. Carrie remembers Lexie’s words of doom about having children with Austin, and the genetic marker.
AT THE PENTHOUSE, Marlena looks at a picture of her and John, as Belle arrives. Marlena wants Belle to be matron of honor, but Belle refuses, she does not want her mom to renew vows with Alex, who is eavesdropping, of course. He tells himself he will not allow Belle, or anyone else, to stop the wedding. The clock chimes, and Belle can tell Marlena has remembered something, insisting she remembers Dad giving her the clock on their anniversary. Marlena has had a memory, but denies it. Belle takes the clock and puts it in her bag. Alex spots her doing this, (the door is conveniently still open a bit) and realizes he has to do something about it.
ACROSS THE STREET, John, who is shirtless for some reason, (but after all, this is Days, isn’t it?) aims his scoped rifle across the street towards Marlena’s windows. Kate comes in, asking if he is going to stop the wedding, and he tells her Marlena can’t marry a dead man. He tells her she is the only person he trusts, he has drawn up papers giving her full powers to run his company, and his children’s trusts. She wants to call Roman, but he stops her, packs up his rifle in the suitcase and leaves.
AT THE CHURCH, Abe, Roman & Tek have secured the premises, making sure John is not around. Lexie arrives, and Abe asks her to check on Marlena. Lexie recalls Alex telling her she is no longer needed as Marlena’s doctor, and threatening to reveal her affair with Tek. John arrives, no gun, and tells them he came to go to confession, which he does. John tells Father Jansen he is seeking forgiveness for murder, which he has not done yet. Father Jansen tries to talk him out of his plans. Kate arrives, and tells Roman she does not know anything of John’s plans. John comes out, Roman tells him to behave, and John leaves. Tek comes back, with the news he lost John. The ever eavesdropping Alex hears this, goes outside, questioning a cop who has not seen John either. Meanwhile, John is in the wooded area, aiming his rifle. We see Alex in the scope. John fires. But in a few seconds we see Alex going back into the church. Back to John now, who again fires (there is a silencer on the rifle) and hits a watermelon. LOLOL, as he goes over, and picks up a piece of the shattered melon, eating it, as he brags of not having lost his touch. (Watermelon in March….hmmm, I live in the Midwest, [where Salem is located] & will have to check the supermarket, as have not noticed them being in “season” here. LOL)
Back inside, the guests have begun to arrive, Lucas with Carrie, Sami with Austin. Lexie grabs Sami for a little chat. Sami tells Lexie that Carrie made her choice, she could have told Austin everything, and didn’t. They could have adopted, etc. but no, Miss Perfect could not do that (you tell her, Sami). Lexie tells her that just because Carrie did not choose Austin, it does NOT mean he will want Sami instead. She leaves, and Sami tells herself nothing stops Sami Brady from getting what she wants. (oh, yeah, then why is Lucas with Carrie?).
Inside the Bride’s room, Belle talks with her mother. She has some gifts for her, giving her a black rosary that Marlena had given to John when they married. That is the something old. She then presents a locket with Claire’s name & birthdate engraved
on it, so Marlena will remember her when she is gone on her extended honeymoon. Her something borrowed are the pearls that Marlena had insisted be given to Belle on her wedding day (I think those were first promised to Sami), and finally a blue ribbon. Belle says it was one she had wound around her basket when she was flower girl at her parent’s wedding years ago and she wants Marlena to put it around her bouquet today. (Remember, Marlena, you left on your honeymoon with John, Belle was 4 years old, and returned 2 weeks later to a daughter who was nearly 16!) The clock chimes and again, we can tell Marlena remembering something. Outside, the snooping Alex says he has to put a stop to this. Just then the florist delivery boy arrives. Alex pays him to “accidentally” knock the clock over, breaking it, which he does. Belle is heartsick over this.
AT THE HORTON CABIN, Shawn gets a fire going in the fireplace, and then spots a wedding gift on the table. The card is from Great-grandma Alice, and inside they find what is evidently a heal
thy check to "start them out", plus the old family scrapbook, in which are listed all the family events. Shawn begins to look through it, stopping at where the birth of Zack is recorded. He says he should probably enter the date of his death. Both Mimi & Shawn are rather sad at this, and Mimi suggests he enter Claire's name. Shawn protests that she is neither a Horton or a Brady, but Mimi says that yes, she is. She is your god-daughter, and a part of Zack lives on. Shawn agrees and adds Claire's name (convenient, huh?) Shawn picks Mimi up, carries to the bed, and they "continue" their honeymoon. A bit later, kissing under the covers, the door opens, Belle barges in. Cue shocked looks on both their faces (and ours, too - did Belle ever hear of knocking?) She says to Shawn that she needs him.
BACK IN THE CHURCH, Austin & Sami chat a bit in their pew, while Lucas & Carrie do the same in theirs. Suddenly, Lucas tells Carrie he went out that morning to get her something, reaches in his pocket, brings out a ring box, opens it, and asks Carrie to do him the honor of becoming his wife. Carrie is speechless. Across the aisle, Austin is not a happy camper, and Sami is almost in tears.
In the bride’s room where Marlena holds the pearls, and fingers her wedding dress, remembering John. Later, she is in her wedding dress, holding her bouquet, and says, I can’t renew wedding vows with Alex, I love John. Kate is just coming in, and asks if she heard right. Is it true, you remembered your past with John. Marlena replies, Oh, what am I going to do, as she turns around and sees both herself and Kate in the mirror. And the previews show….
Lucas, shouting at Sami: Austin is in love with the good sister, and we both know who that is
Austin to Carrie: I really do want you to be happy.
Carrie: Thank you, as she hugs him.
Kate to Marlena: Tell Lexie what you told me, that you remember being in love with John
Marlena: I don’t love John at all, I’m in love with Alex
John: I pledged my love to you, Doc. Alex North will never hurt you again.

EPISODE: 10,280DIRECTED BY: Phil Sogard
TAPE DATE: 3/3/06
The evening winds down as the newlyweds return to their loft and Belle has her own pity party, Abe warns John not to take drastic action as Alex is confident his plan will work; Carrie makes her choice.
AT THE LOFTS…
Belle watches as Philip tells Claire that she and her mommy were the prettiest two ladies at the wedding. Philip asks Belle why she’s crying again. He understands because she’s realized that she’s lost Shawn for good tonight. He asks her if Belle would rather be with Shawn. He knows if he lost her he couldn’t get over it and says he and her are the real deal, not a childhood fantasy. She thanks him for understanding and tells him she loves him and they kiss. Philip takes Claire up to bed and Belle wants to call and check on her mom before coming to bed herself. She steps into the hall and finds a white rose from the wedding and smells it. She goes up on the roof with
the rose and her cellphone and sees her and Shawn’s initials carved on the wall. She remembers Shawn telling her how much he loved her. She then remembers him telling her that he and Mimi are getting married and how much it hurt when she and Philip got married. Remembering when Shawn told her that Claire is not his daughter and she belongs with Philip and their daughter. She has to let him (Shawn) go and they’re finished.Shawn carries his bride over the threshold to their loft (can’t even swing a night at the Salem Inn?) and both are happy and in love. She stops him as things progress. He says they’re married, it’s okay, LOL, but she can’t do this in his grandmother’s wedding dress. She sends him for champagne and remembers telling Shawn about her lies to Rex and wishing she had told Shawn the truth. He overhears her and asks about what. She explains seeing the old love letters with Rex and feared she and Shawn might fall apart too. He doesn’t think what she is worried about could be all that bad, but she thinks it could. She has to tell him now, she can’t put it off. He tells her the world won’t come to an end if it waits. He offers to help her out of her beautiful dress, but she says she can handle it. He pours them some champagne and YOU AND ME by Litehouse plays as they fall to the bed..
AT THE RECEPTION…
A replay of Lucas and Sami talking when Carrie and Austin arrive. Austin kisses Carrie. Sami says they’re both losers and felt sure things would go their way. Sami asks Lucas what he was going to say about them before Austin and Carrie came in, but before he can reply, Carrie interrupts, asking to speak with Lucas. Austin confirms to Sami that Carrie made her choice. Fresh from her hospital gown to evening dress, Carrie thanks Lucas for all the support he’s given her. Lucas tells her from what he’s observed, it’s pretty obvious who she’s chosen. Sami doesn’t understand why Carrie’s dragging everything out and it’s obvious
she chose him. Chugging his drink, Austin tells Sami that Carrie didn’t choose him, she chose Lucas. Carrie tells Lucas that at the same time as well (oh paleez..this is so pathetic…) Lucas is shocked that Carrie wants to be with him and not Austin. Flashback of Lexie’s telling her about the genetic marker problem with Austin. She chose him (Lucas) because she thought they could have a future and family together. He asks her if she is still in love with his brother. She doesn’t answer, just says Austin is her past and he’s her future. She’s anxious to start a family, but at the right time and with the right person. (sounds more like a stud farm then a romantic relationship!) She asks if he’s sure he wants another kid, with her, at this point? (so romantic) Later he tells her that’s exactly what he wants and Carrie asks if he’s really over Sami. He looks across the room at Sami and says to Carrie that she’s the one he’s always dreamed of being with and really wants it to work. She says she does too.Austin asks Sami if she thought his little brother was going to take her back. After another drink Austin says he’s going to focus on his business and assures her he’s fine and Carrie’s gone. Sami asks what about her. After chugging another drink he says he’s going home to get some work done. She suggests he take a cab (why not go home with him?) He tells her not to give up and there’s someone out there for her and she should go find him. Watching Lucas and Carrie dancing, she says she’s lost Lucas for good and determined to get Austin.
AT JOHN’S (AND KATE’S) ROOM AT THE INN…(he’s so rich and still living in her suite?)
Abe walks in and overhears John saying he’d blow off Alex’s hea
d before he’d let him have Marlena. Abe says he’s under arrest if that’s the case (is he officially on the force now?) He warns John that Marlena wouldn’t approve of cold blooded murder for any reason. John says Marlena knows it won’t be the first time he’s killed, but Abe says she also knows he was under Stefano’s control at the time too. Abe’s cell rings and he leaves.AT THE PENTHOUSE…
Lexie checks Marlena out at home in her bed. She wants to stay to monitor Marlena, but Alex refuses. He tells her and the rest of Salem to stay out of their lives. Arguing outside her door, Marlena finally awakens and joins them. Alex tells her there’s nothing for her to worry about and Marlena tells Lexie she’s getting married tomorrow and it’ll be a quiet ceremony. Alex puts her back to bed as Lexie watches from the door. Outside in the hall, he orders Lexie out and tells her that her services are no longer needed. He threatens to physically eject her. He vows to tell Abe her nasty little secret about her cheating on him and stops her from slapping him as well. Alex sits on Marlena’s bed and watches her sleep. He tells her not to worry. They are going to get married and he’s taking her far from Salem and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop him. We next see John assembling his rifle with mega scopes on it…
Lexie and Abe are outside John’s room as she explains she couldn’t tell John anything helpful, only that the marriage/vow renewal is going to happen the next day. His cell rings (busy guy again) and Lexie feels bad that because of her affair with Tek, it’s damaging so many relationships..Marlena and John, Carrie and Austin’s and even hers and Abe’s.
as the previews roll….
KATE TO JOHN (who’s holding the rifle): What are you going to do John. Are you going to shoot him?
JOHN: You can’t very well marry a dead man.
BELLE TO MARLENA: What is it? You remember something, don’t you?
LEXIE TO SAMI: Just because Carrie doesn’t want him, it doesn’t mean he’s going to settle for you.
MIMI TO SHAWN: You should enter Claire’s name in the book.
SHAWN: I don’t know if I should, she’s not a Horton or a Brady.
MIMI: Yes, she is.
And the credits roll..

Episode #10,279Tape date - 3/2
Director - Herb Stein
Lots of confessions and tears today. Also lots of little snippets of conversation here and there. Good show, though.
AT HOME, Billie tells Bo to go to the reception and she will take care of Chelsea. He says that he won’t be welcome, that he has already been seen as picking Chelsea over his family again. She whines that if he doesn’t want her to be part of the family, she can arrange for that to happen (Please, oh please!). Billie turns on her and lectures her on her responsibility for her actions. The Brat keeps on whining that everything that goes wrong is her fault. She was trying to do the right thing and be there for Shawn, she didn’t think that everyone would treat her like a monster for wanting to reach out to her family. Bo tells her that maybe she has good intentions, but is she listening to anything they have said? She complains that no matter how hard she tries, she always screws things up. All anyone can think about is how she should pay; well, she is paying, by being the outcast. Billie follows Chelsea to her room, where she pretends to be crying. Billie tells her to stop. She tells her that something Chelsea said is stuck in her head (“If you won’t fight for you or the man you love, I will fight for both of us.”) Billie knows exactly why she showed up – she knew exactly what she was doing – purposely driving a wedge between Bo and Shawn and, ultimately, Hope. Billie calls her a world-class schemer. She knows that she wants Bo on her side, but she is doing it the wrong way. Thanks to her, Bo and Hope didn’t get to see their son get married. Chelsea blames Hope and claims she didn’t know that Bo w
ould miss the wedding because she showed up. She refuses to accept responsibility. She tells Billie that if she can’t support her to get out and leave her alone. Billie returns to the living room to find Bo on Chelsea’s computer. (He had checked his messages and found none. His pda battery was dead, so he was using Chelsea’s computer to check his email.) He found her diary and makes Billie read it. (You hear Chelsea’s voice while Billie reads it.) Billie knew she was hurting, but didn’t realize how much. She thinks that Chelsea is acting out in an effort to protect herself from getting hurt. Bo insists they have to do what they can to help her and wishes they knew more about her childhood. They end up reading it together when Chelsea comes out and confronts them for invading her privacy. Bo apologizes, but is glad they did read it. He goes to give her a hug.THE RECEPTION IS IN FULL SWING AT CHEZ ROUGE
Shawn and Mimi are dancing as Belle looks on with tears in her eyes. Shawn/Caroline, Mickey/Maggie dance by. Bonnie drinks to Mimi’s nice little nest egg. Victor and Kate argue over whether the truth should be told.
Shawn asks Mimi why she is so quiet – she is soaking it all in. Phillip interrupts their kiss with his best man toast – to his nephew, the groom and his beautiful bride. Belle gives Claire to Phillip and takes off crying. Shawn goes to go after her, but Phillip thinks as her husband he should go. Shawn says she is having a difficult time with the wedding and he is probably the only one who can help her. Philip wants to know if there is somethin
g going on between them that he should know about. Shawn convinces Phillip that Belle must have felt bad for stopping the wedding over Chelsea and Bo leaving. Mimi tells him that Belle does take things like personally and gets upset easily if she thinks she hurt someone. Both Phillip and Mimi let him go to deal with her. When Shawn leaves, Phillip asks Mimi what he doesn’t know about the two of them. Mimi insists that there is nothing to worry about. Phillip confesses that he was so sure that she was going to tell the whole church she was still in love with Shawn – and Mimi confesses she did, too. He also confesses that he does his best everyday not to worry about her feelings for Shawn. They are married and now Shawn is married to her – which Phillip believes he wouldn’t have done if he still loved Belle. Neither would have believed that they would have married who they did. Mimi is going to not worry anymore, and neither should he.
Shawn finds Belle and tells her not to do this to herself. She promised to be Matron of Honour to support Mimi and if they are to remain friends, she can’t keep doing this. She cries that she should have stopped the wedding to tell Mimi and Phillip and everyone that she still loves him. She gets him to admit that he still loves her, too. When asked why he married Mimi, then, he tells her that he didn’t stop the wedding because it would have been wrong. There is part of him that will always love her, but it is the past, a dream without a future. She is married, and now so is he. Phillip and Mimi, Claire and the kids he and Mimi will adopt are now their future. She knows that’s true, and she does love Phillip, and he tells her to start being happy with him. She asks for one last dance to say goodbye to the past. (Very nice song playing – sounds like ‘ N Sync?) They declare that they love each other and he tells her to be happy. He kisses her forehead and says goodbye. She walks off first and he stops to think, with tears in his eyes now. Belle and Shawn return to their spouses and claim that everything is fine now.Bonnie takes them over to cut the cake. Mimi takes a piece and smears his face, to catcalls. Shawn tells his grandson that it doesn’t mean he can’t still be a gentleman, but cheers him the loudest when he does the same to her.
Shawn replies to Phillip’s question that the plan for tonight is just the loft – the honeymoon starts tomorrow. He gushes over the extravagant honeymoon Kate is providing in exchange for just some words and pictures for the magazine. Phillip tells him to enjoy it and take care of his wife – he deserves it.
Belle asks Mimi their honeymoon plans and learns that they are leaving in a couple of days, but are going to the Horton cabin in the morning. Mimi promises to make Shawn happy – Belle tells her if she doesn’t, she will have to answer to her, which causes a weird look on Mimi’s face (as it would mine!)
Bonnie takes Mimi aside to talk about throwing the bouquet, and tells her to remember how much her mom helped her. Shawn takes her and they run the confetti gauntlet.
AUSTIN AND LUCAS are at the reception, worried that they had left Carrie. Lucas seems to be in a hurry for her decision, and Austin is wondering why they are rushing her. Both are sure that the other is going to lose. (An interesting tidbit does come out, though: Nicole has been relocated to LA to run High Style.) Lucas baits Austin over losing his women (and how many they have shared). He didn’t want Nicole, he is going to lose Carrie, so now he is stuck with Sami. Austin’s cell rings and it is Carrie, who asks him to come back because she has something to tell him. Lucas wants to know if he is to come, too, but Austin tells him no and gets a bit nasty with him as he leaves.Lucas is staring at a wine bottle when the bartender asks what he can get him. Maggie comes up and Lucas orders a club soda. Maggie becomes sponsor and talks to Lucas (we don’t see more than the first little bit – where she asks how he is feeling). Kate finds Lucas, and knows that being there is rough on him. She admits she ruined his wedding, but she saved his life. She asks about Austin, and Lucas tells her that he went to Carrie. She is honest that she is happy for Austin, but worried about him.
Bonnie wants to know why Belle ran off so upset and why Shawn went after her, but Kate isn’t worried, because Shawn is now married to Mimi and won’t break his sacred vows. Bonnie isn’t so sure as it didn't stop others before. Kate walks off, only to be stopped by Victor. She says don’t tell, and Caroline says don’t tell him what? Kate covers with a cockamamie story about Austin and his business, and Victor going after him. Caroline is sure there is room for all three business. Kate turns around and tells him he shouldn’t cause trouble when it isn’t necessary.
Mickey comes over and talks to Bonnie. She tells him that she really did love him. He says thank you, which upsets her. He did love her in a different sort of way. She kisses him and asks him for one more dance for old time’s sake. He agrees to. Maggie looks on. Bonnie notices that Belle and Shawn were outside and came back in separately. Maggie cuts in, but offers her wishes for happiness for Mimi. Bonnie says that it is hard to stay mad at the Hortons (isn’t it, though?)
Victor asks Caroline to dance. Victor really needs to know the truth – if she had to do it again, would she still keep the secret. She reminds him that when Bo was born, he took off to Europe to make his fortune. She didn’t approve of his business tactics and didn’t want her son growing up in his world. So, yes she would do the same to protect Bo and her marriage and her family. Victor walks past and tells Kate that she made a big mistake – now when the truth comes out, and it will, two marriages will be destroyed. She is certain that the secret is not going to get out. Mimi is past the point of no return and won’t say a word. Belle doesn’t even know she slept with Shawn, so there is no reason for anyone to be suspicious. What good would destroying two marriages and ruining their son’s life do?
STILL IN THE HOSPITAL HALLWAY, Sami comes up behind Carrie as she hangs up, concerned about her walking around so soon, but Carrie is officially discharged. She does admit that seeing the baby die upset her. Sami offers to take her home, but Carrie tells her about asking Austin to come. Austin rushes in and wants to make sure she is fine. Carrie sends Sami off now that Austin is there so they can talk. Austin goes on about h
ow he knew she still loved him. She tells him there is more to it, but admits she loves him with all her heart. He kisses her. Carrie claims that everything is happening too fast. Austin tells her how he and Lucas felt like puppets on strings. Austin wants to discuss what went wrong and figure out how to fix it so that they can be together. Nothing else matters. He invites her to go the reception, if she is feeling up to it. He takes her home to change.Sami arrives at the reception and goes straight to the bar to order champagne, only to be confronted by Kate. Kate wonders why she is here – no one wants her here, they didn’t even want her at her at her own wedding. She really rubs it in about Carrie choosing Austin, so Sami has no one. (What a vindictive witch! No wonder Sami has esteem issues!) Kate keeps on Sami. Sami tells her how much she loved Lucas and how Kate ruined everything. They bicker back and forth while Lucas listens. After Kate leaves her, Lucas confronts Sami and asks if she really meant what she said. She says she did, but he made his decision. As he goes to respond, she turns around and they see Austin and Carrie sharing champagne. She toasts them – here’s to us Lucas, losers to the end!
Lucas looks downtrodden, and Sami looks genuinely heartbroken, as an inset of Austin and Carrie appears beside her head and the previews roll in….
Shawn: Whatever it is, it can’t be that bad.
Mimi: It is.
Phillip (holding Claire) to Belle: Would you rather be with him?
Alex: Wouldn’t it be a shame if , say, it came out that you were cheating with that young, cocky detective?

Episode: 10,278Directed by: Jim Baffico
Tape Date: 3/1/06
Mimi and Shawn are pronounced husband and wife, Carrie is distraught over Lexie's latest prognosis; John and Alex continue butting heads.
AT THE WEDDING
Jennifer comments how lovely Mimi looks in Caroline’s gown. Jen remembers (flashback time) saying her vows to Jack at their first wedding.
Bonnie swigs from her flask as they wait for the wedding to continue. Kate suggests Bonnie wait and pray with the others, but that’s not Bonnie’s strong suit. Father Jansen continues the wedding informally as everyone stands around them. Belle holds Claire and Mimi and Shawn smile into each other’s faces as Father Jansen explains the vows are for life Holding hands, Mimi and Shawn say they’re ready to commit before God, then each light a candle. He asks them to hold right hands and Frankie asks Jen for hers as she remembers (more flashbacks) of when she gave her ring to Jack, telling him of her love for him. She then pictures herself being married by Father Jansen to Frankie. She wonders if Jack would approve and the church fills up with Jack’s. They all speak and she asks for just one to speak and one in the back does. She asks if her being with Frankie is truly what he wanted. She asks if he wanted her to really love another man and he knows she loved Frankie before him and has always had him in her heart. He needs to give her a sign if this is what he really wants. Back to present, Frankie watches as her face shows the conflict she’s feeling. Jen pictures Frankie saying to her in his vows as he mentions Jack and promises to love her and the children as much as Jack did. She takes Frankie’s hand and they exchange smiles. Mimi is asked to give her vows to Shawn and we see her quaking in nerves and excitement. She says I DO. Shawn is next and we can see Belle’s tearful eyes next as Shawn says I DO as well. They exchange rings, never looking anywhere but each other’s eyes. They are pronounced husband and wife as Belle has tears roll down her face
watching. They’re introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Douglas Brady and kiss as the wedding march begins and Belle weeps on the altar.AT THE RECEPTION
Belle wants to take Claire home for a nap, but Philip refuses to leave and goes to get both Claire and Belle a bottle. Caroline stops to talk and was worried about her stopping the wedding. Belle is going to make the best of her situation and Kate’s talk about a broken home convinced her to stay with Philip. Victor overhears a
nd talks with Kate, not happy with her interfering. Shawn and Mimi arrive and are announced by Maggie. Shawn sweeps Mimi into a lean-over kiss and Caroline taps on his shoulder asking just where he thinks he is, a wedding? LOL. He asks about his grandfather and she tells him that Shawn and Roman are in the office setting up a conference call to his aunts and other family members that couldn’t make it (how about his mother too?) Bonnie asks Mimi if she doesn’t think the decorations should be embellished, but Mimi said they look lovely and for Bonnie to relax and have fun. Uncle Mickey drove Alice home as she was so exhausted she couldn’t sleep the night before. (Nice they explain the absences at least.) Bonnie toasts her daughter and Mimi still feels guilty. Caroline tells Shawn to hurry to the conference room, but he stops to thank Belle for bringing Claire to the wedding. He hopes he and Mimi are as happy as she and Philip. Philip joins them and agrees. Maggie sets up Mimi with her bouquet tossing. Maggie calls for Kate, Jennifer and Bonnie to be in the area in question. (is Abby there?) Jennifer doesn’t try to cat
ch it, but it falls into her hands anyway. She and Frankie exchange grins. She asks if he thinks this is a sign from Jack and he agrees. Belle tells Claire she’s staying with Philip for her.Shawn comments on Mimi’s being so quiet. Philip (who’s undone his tie and left it hanging) does his duty as best man for the toast, but says it’s the best “family” that’s going to give the toast instead as Belle stands next to him. He mentions they’re best friends and the Godparents to Claire. They wish him a lifetime of happiness and joy. Belle rushes from the room in tears asking Philip to take care of Claire. Shawn and Philip both watch her leave.
AT THE HOSPITAL
Sami tells Carrie to live happily ever after with Austin and have that family they both want so desperately. Carrie remembers Lexie telling her about the test showing she and Austin share genetic markers and any children they had together could be threatened. Sami reiterates her approval of Carrie being with Austin and Carrie rushes from Lexie’s office in tears as Lexie arrives. Sami congratulates Lexie on the good job. Lexie feels bad about lying to Carrie as Sami asks how that’s any worse than when she switched her paternity test results or Bo and Hope’s. At least this one is for a good cause, to keep her husband and son. Lexie warns Sami that it’s not going to work. Carrie tearfully follows a couple with their new baby being wheeled from the hospital, saying how grateful they are for their blessing given them.
Elsewhere, John finds an unconscious Marlena and calls for a nurse. Lexie (of course) and a nurse rush in and kick John out so that they can work. John rushes Alex outside the room, asking what he did to her. Lexie threatens to have John removed from the hospital and says Marlena’s awake and conscious, vitals normal. She refuses to let John be with her and says Marlena needs rest. Abe follows Lexie, concerned about her (as well he should…it’s hard for one doctor to take care of a hospital full of patients!!) She explains it’s been a busy shift and asks for his help with Alex/John.John and Alex continue their verbal warfare as Alex remembers what Marlena had told him. They’re given approval to see Marlena and the three of them rush in and John asks Marlena if she remembers. She denies remembering anything other than being Alex’s wife as we see a replay of Alex injecting her with something that will either erase her memory or kill her. He’d be okay with either result. (seems she’d forget being married to Alex as well?) Alex admits being concerned and says after he and Marlena are on their honeymoon, she’ll be away from all this stress and recuperate faster. Marlena tries to calm an irate John by saying she trusts Alex, not him. John knows that Marlena’s wedding day will also be Marlena’s funeral.
Carrie continues to loiter in the hallway as the new parents lea
ve and Lexie rushes in telling a nurse (now she’s in charge of ER, LOL) that a young child with a genetic disorder is being rushed in with respiratory arrest. She reminds the parents she’ll do everything she can, but because of his genetic problem, no guarantees (how convenient). Carrie feels for the parents. Sami tears up too, but says God must have a plan. Lexie returns and tells the parents there is no hope and they can be with him. Carrie rushes out and Sami, sincerely feeling for the parents, wonders if God’s plan and hers are the same and walks out. She easily breaks into the records room, leaving the door open in the true Salem fashion. Of course Lexie walks in and sees what Sami’s doing (she’s fast..already on the record she wants!) Back to the waiting room and Carrie’s back with her purse (oh come on..) as Lexie feels for Carrie having to see what’s going on. She tells Sami she’s going to Hell for this, but Sami says she’ll enjoy a piece of Heaven with Austin first. Carrie reaches into her purse for Kleenex. (why isn’t she discharged so she can leave?) Sami warns Lexie to keep her mouth shut. Carrie calls Austin on the hospital phone. She asks him to come to the hospital as what she has to say will affect the rest of their lives. Lexie warns Sami that her plan backfired.PREVIEWS:
BELLE is outside and tells SHAWN that she still loves him and she knows he loves her too.
SHAWNS REPLY: I DO.
BILLIE TO CHELSEA (with Bo standing there): You are responsible.
CHELSEA: Everything bad that happens to this family is all my fault.
AUSTIN TO CARRIE: You still love me?
CARRIE: With all my heart.

Summary: Frankie and Jen have a heart-to-heart talk, Sami is up to her old tricks, Chelsea is playing a very mean game, and the wedding ceremony is on intermission....
IN JEN'S BEDROOM, Frankie wants to know what is wrong with Jennifer. She tells him to go away, and he walks in anyway. He refuses to leave until he knows why she is upset. Jen admits that she went to get her purse and found her wedding dress. It reminded her of her second wedding day – when Abby helped her with her vows. It was special to Jack and to Abby, and now, neither of her kids will have their father. She is upset that she is spending time with Frankie when she should be mourning the death of her husband. Frankie tells her she owes it to herself and her kids to move on with her life. Going to the wedding really hits home, though. She tells him that marriage is a closeness that no one can match. She talks about how close they were, and how lucky. The memories that were just for her and Jack, and now they are just for her. She tells him not to tell her that Jack is dead and she needs to move on. Her kids are enough for her. Frankie reminds her that Jack wanted him to take care of her. She doesn’t care. The time she is spending with him is a betrayal to Jack. He thinks maybe he should leave. She doesn’t want him to leave, but she is confused. She is starting to feel things that are terrifying and confusing. He admits he isn’t starting to feel things, he always felt them. Jen claims to be going crazy and then rambles on about always changing her mind and confusing him. Frankie interrupts to tell her that his feelings haven’t grown, because there is no way they could. What he felt in high school was real. He never married, because at seventeen, she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and she still is the only one. He was lucky to have her friendship and Jack’s, but does she have any room in her heart for him? Jen wishes there was a timetable so she could tell him when she would be ready, if ever. She admits there is a possibility, partly because it is what Jack wanted, and partly for herself. She wants him to stay, but she can’t make any promises. He offers her as much time as she needs, and he will be there. She asks him to help her put the box away. She says it is going to be okay.
AT THE HOSPITAL, Sami tells Lexie to make sure Carrie doesn’t choose Austin or she can say goodbye to happy life with Abe and Theo. Lexie calls her on the blackmail, but Sami tells her she is having an affair, so she should get off her high moral horse.Austin pushes Carrie for an answer. She should have known all along…and probably did. They want her answer. Carrie admits it is cliché, but she does care for both of them. They are all going to be family anyway. They both say they can live with her decision. Lexie interrupts saying she has some discharge instructions for Carrie, and it can’t wait because she is busy. Sami asks who won the Carrie lottery. They want to know how she knew what they were talking about. Lexie gives her last minute discharge care instructions. Austin comments on how Sami is always in the right place to hear things people want kept private. She claims she wasn’t eavesdropping, Lexie told her that Carrie had a decision to make and she could figure it out. Sami goes on about how it is like a reality show (she alludes to the Bachelor). She tells them that, if it is a contest, she knows who she is rooting for. Lucas wants to know who. Sami hopes Carrie chooses Austin because they really love each other. Lucas has her number – she only wants Austin because she can’t have Lucas, so why is she so happy about Carrie choosing him? Sami claims she has plenty of time to meet the right guy – she doesn’t need Lucas or his brother, who aren't the only two guys in the world, by the way (really?). However, Carrie’s clock is ticking, so she is falling back on her old reliables. She loves Austin. Sami congratulates him, but Lucas starts on Sami about how she never gives up and how she has set her sights on Austin. He is skeptical that she is giving up on Austin so easy. Austin tells Lucas she is being too hard on her. He admits he knows she was making a play, but they will still be friends. Austin tells her that he is grateful for her support, which makes her beam. Lucas thinks to himself that if Sami is ok with Carrie and Austin, then she must be planning something.
Lexie asks what she was going to tell the guys. Carrie confides in her how she feels and how hard it is. She tells her that she made a decision. Lexie wants to tell her something about her decision. She tells Carrie that choosing Austin is a mistake she can’t afford to make. Supposedly, when Carrie's problems came to light and she was talking about wanting a baby, Lexie did a workup and some genetic testing. Austin and Carrie share a genetic marker that could be problematic. A child that the two of them produce may have a severe problem that may be life-threatening. Carrie wants to know how, when and why she tested Austin (ooooh…. Salem Brain makes an appearance!). Lexie says he was tested when he was getting ready to marry Sami. Carrie wants to know how Austin could be affected and not Lucas, since they are brothers. Lexie claims they have different fathers – she is very vague and you see is struggling to come up with answers. She does warn Carrie that Austin is the last man she should consider having a child with.
ROMAN STOPS JOHN and wonders why he didn’t tell him about the accident. John fills him in on his theories. Roman is more concerned about how Marlena is. John is glad Roman is back in town to help keep her safe (first we heard he was out of town, but at least know we know why he was MIA). Roman asks if John is sure North tried to kill her. John is positive. Roman wants to make sure it is not a personal vendetta to get Marlena back. Is he sure Alex is evil, or is John jealous and angry? John tells Roman he has seen the man in action, and he is a killer. Roman wants to make sure John doesn’t go off half-cocked and get himself thrown back in prison. John tells Roman that he came back to town for Shawn’s wedding, so he should go there. They make plans to check in with each other before the reception. A nurse comes up and asks John if he got her message that Marlena wanted him. He is upset that she was awake and alone, and goes off calling for her as we hear a buzzer.
MARLENA TELLS ALEX that she remembers everything. He is sorry to hear that. He stole her past and tried to take her future – John was right about him. Alex thinks John is angry. Marlena says John knows he is dangerous because he loves her. Alex insi
sts that they are still married. He takes her hand and squeezes it. She cries that he is hurting her. Alex asks if she is feeling empowered now. She has her memory back and is going to divorce him. He tells her that he will not allow her to do that. He asks if she remembers the price for disobedience. We see her being shut inside a small dark room (?)(she is looking up, so somewhere underground, maybe?), battered and scared. She thought Lois was insane, but he made her that way and killed her, and made it look like suicide, didn’t he? If she tries to scream, it will be the last sound she ever makes. Marlena tells Alex that maybe her memories weren’t real. John has been filling her head with ideas, and she should have known they weren’t true. Alex tells her she isn’t the only psychiatrist in the room; he knows she is lying. Now that she has her memory back, she is going to have to die, and he covers her mouth as she struggles.AT THE CHURCH (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE)

OUTSIDE, Billie flashes to Chelsea saying she will fight for both of them. She cares for Bo, but Hope is his wife and should be with him at his son’s wedding.
INSIDE, Belle stops the wedding. Victor wonders if Belle found out about Claire and Shawn. Phillip asks her what is going on. Mimi can’t believe she waited till now – she must have really wanted to humiliate her. Shawn says he knows why she stopped the ceremony. He turns around and asks, “What are you doing here? No one invited you.” We then se
e Chelsea at the back of the church. Belle admits to Phillip that she stopped the wedding because she saw Chelsea come in and knows Shawn wouldn’t want her there. Shawn verbally attacks Chelsea. He reminds her that he doesn’t have a family anymore - Zack is gone and his parents are split up and it’s all because of her. She claims that, as his sister, she wanted to wish him well. He insists it is too late. Bo and Billie walk up and Billie asks what she is doing there. Kate whispers to Bonnie, who leaves. Chelsea tells Shawn she brought a gift, and didn’t think anyone would see her. Shawn points out that Belle saw her and she is not welcome there. Bo tells her she made a mistake coming. Shawn asks if Bo can throw her out – will he do that for him and Zack and his mom? Bo can’t throw her out, but he will take her out. Shawn tells Bo that it will hurt him if he leaves, but Bo leaves anyway. Shawn apologizes to the audience. He thanks Belle for knowing he didn’t want her there. Mimi admits she thought Belle stopped the wedding to keep her from marrying Shawn. Belle tells her that since the wedding is already stopped, maybe she should tell what she
really wants. Father Jansen tells them that they will continue shortly, so they mingle and talk. Kate wants to know why Belle said anything about Chelsea. Belle says she knows that Chelsea is her grand-daughter, but she didn’t want any trouble. Kate lays on another guilt trip about how good she is for Phillip and Claire. After all, Phillip is the only one of her children that got the support and love he needed, and look what became of the others (namely Billie and Chelsea). Bonnie brings Claire into see Belle and, when Belle asks why, tells her that is a special moment for her parents and god-parents and she will love looking back on the photos later. Belle takes Claire and looks very disappointed.BACK OUTSIDE, Bo rails on Chelsea. He wants to go back in and be there for his son, but he can’t trust her to do the right thing. Billie tells him he is being too nice, so she lights into her. She says that Chelsea crashed the wedding for one reason only – she just can’t stand not being the center of anyone’s attention, especially her father’s. Chelsea whines that she is being left out – she is not allowed to partake in anything important in her family, so fine. They don’t really want her, and they may just get what they wish for. Bo thinks that Chelsea didn’t mean to hurt Shawn, and tells her that coming to the church was a mistake, but he will try to find a neutral place where Shawn and Chelsea can get together and talk without causing any trouble. Bo goes to get the car, and Billie goes off on Chelsea. Billie knows that Chelsea is trying to drive a wedge between Bo and every member of his family. She admits that she will do anything to keep from spending her best years rotting in a jail cell, no matter who gets hurt. (Tell her some more, Billie – she isn’t listening yet! But then, you are "talking the talk" pretty good, but what about the "walking the talk" part?)
BACK INSIDE, Shawn and Mimi still want to be married and are ready to get the ceremony going again, so that they can be husband and wife. Shawn calls everyone back to order. He is grateful for the break, because now his god-daughter can be there. He makes a speech about losing Zack and what he learned about the value of children. He calls Father Jansen back up, who picks up where he left off with, “Speak now…or forever hold your piece…”
Freeze on Belle and Claire, and off to the previews:
Lexie: Carrie could still choose Austin, even with all your lies and schemes.
Sami: I am not going to let that happen!
Alex: What’s going on? Is Marlena all right?
John: You ought to know, you son of a *****, you did it! John launches himself at Alex and Abe grabs him.
Kate to Victor: Your choice is to make sure that Phillip never finds out that Claire is not his daughter.
Father Jansen (We see Shawn and Mimi smiling at each other, but hear his voice): When God joins a man and a woman in holy matrimony, it’s for life, and no one shall come between them. (Flash to Belle holding Claire).
And off to the credits....

Episode #10,276Tape date – 2/24
Director – Phil Sogard
The wedding continues, as Jennifer evidently is not getting to the church on time, while Carrie continues to drag her feet naming her choice, Sami continues to badger Lexie, & Marlena continues to have her memory dreams.
JENNIFER COMES DOWNSTAIRS, all ready to go to the church, with Frankie thinking she looks amazing. Jennifer mentions the other night at Chez Rouge, saying they have been dancing around what happened there, and she really wants to take things very slow. Frankie gifts her with a wrist corsage, a replica of one he gave her when they were in high school. (oh, c’mon, give us all a break here) Jen laughs, as she doesn’t think anyone wears these any more, but puts it on anyway. She goes upstairs for her purse, can’t find it, throws open the closet doors, gasps “O, God”. Frankie comes up, hears her crying, knocks on door, asking to come in. Jennifer tells him no, go away, she doesn’t want to see him, as she holds onto a big box and bows her head over it, crying.
AT THE HOSPITAL, Lexie cannot believe Sami is asking her to play God with Carrie’s life. Sami again threatens to tell Abe, telling Lexie she has a husband who loves her, forgave her for her previous affair, a wonderful son, & yet she is cheating on him again. Lexie tells Sami she knows nothing of what is going on with her. Sami wants Lexie to make sure Carrie doesn’t have EITHER of the guys. Lexie tells her she only wants Austin to spite Lucas and her sister. Sami denies it, but says she knows Lucas will never forgive her, but Austin would. So her only chance to be happy is with him. (yawwwnnn, we all have heard this
repeatedly)
Carrie continues to drag her feet in telling Austin & Lucas her decision. She tells them how she had a fantasy (cue us seeing it) about being "home", waking up to smell of breakfast. Now the eternally shirtless and towel draped Austin comes in, and climbs into bed with her. The both guys keep asking her to tell them her choice....Carrie just continues to give those "soap opera pauses" with look to match.
John & Abe talk about nailing Alex, and trying to prevent him from harming Marlena. They know it would be very dangerous if Marlena got her memory back while alone with Alex. In her room, Alex hovers over Marlena’s bed, listening to her murmuring in her sleep, remembering Alex’s abuse, saying aloud she knows who Alex North is. Marlena dreams of when Lexie first introduced her to Alex, and how he looked so familiar, plus various conversations, including the promise to renew their vows. She murmurs how she loves John, not Alex, then wakes up, startled, calling for the nurse, who comes in (Alex is hiding). She tells the nurse to tell John Black to come in there immediately. The nurse goes out, and Alex returns to Marlena’s bedside. Her eyes flutter open, she sees him, & says she doesn’t love him, she loves John. Alex replies, What a pity for you, my dear.
Outside, near the nurses’ station, John leaves just as the nurse comes out, looking for him. Her shift is over, so she writes a note to John, telling him Marlena wants to see him immediately. As she closes a medical folder and pick it up, the note is swept to the floor. (Naturally! What other lame way could it be for John to not get the note? She could have just TOLD the other nurse)
AT ST. LUKES, we see Mimi continuing her walk down the aisle with her beaming mother. (Bonnie has the most beautiful smile) Finally, Father Jansen begins the ceremony. In the church pew, Kate sits next to Bonnie……(Bonnie is mother of the bride. Just WHAT relationship is Kate to the bride that she gets the honor of sitting there?) and remembers what she did to try and send Belle on a guilt trip before she might try to stop th
e wedding. Flashback to a teary eye Kate going into a room where Belle is holding Claire, while Kate sniffles. She sheds a few crocodile tears as she moans about how Billie is blaming herself for Chelsea’s troubles, and not being there for her growing up. (Puleeze, Chelsea HAD good parents). Kate then berates herself, saying how she herself abandoned Billie when she was little, who was then left to be raised by a rotten father. She goes on and on about not being there for her daughter, then pours it on how that will never happen to Claire, as she will always have her mother, who loves her and her husband so much, and therefore Claire will always be safe, yada, yada, yada. Back up on the altar, Belle tells herself she knows what Kate was trying to do, but she has to stop this wedding. Shawn steps forward to thank everyone for coming, even though there are some who cannot be there. We see Caroline next to Bo, Victor, Maggie among the guests.
Before Father Jansen can continue, Mimi says her few words, also thanking everyone for coming, and celebrating this special day, especially, her good friend Belle. Kate murmurs to Bonnie that was a good touch, Mimi is learning. Father Jansen calls Maggie up to do the first reading, from the book of Genesis. (it has to do with the creation of a woman for Adam). We now see that Mickey is with Maggie. Glad to know he is there. Philip is to do the 2nd reading, and asks Belle to stand with him, as she has a few words, too. He finishes his reading, and Belle reads from a paper a poem entitled “What is Love”. Now we see more of the guests. Bo is sitting next to a beautiful Alice, while Shawn is now sitting next to Caroline. Bo & Alice talk a bit about marriage, Hope not being there, with Alice giving a bit of her words of wisdom. Behind them, Mickey tells Maggie he loves her, and she tells him she loves him, too. Father Jansen now asks the proverbial, “If there is anyone here who knows why these two should not be joined together……..”. Kate & Bonnie lean forward expectantly. There is silence. Father Jansen begins the final vows, asking Shawn if he will take Miriam….when suddenly Belle yells “Stop”. And the previews show…..
Frankie to Jen: Do you have room in your heart for me?
Sami: I can’t believe you both are letting her jerk you along like this. But since this is a contest, I know who I’m rooting for.
Alex: And now you have your memory back, I’m afraid you are gonna have to die….as he puts his hand over her mouth
Shawn: I know why Belle stopped the ceremony

Tape Date: 2/25/-6
Hope calls Bo; pre-wedding jitters and discussions at the church and the evil teen strikes again!
AT THE HOSPITAL…IN LEXIE’S OFFICE…
Sami lets Lexie know that she saw her and Tek in the park and just now outside the door. She asks if she’s dumping Abe for her new young stud. Lexie accuses Sami of making a big deal over what she saw, saying Abe knows she and Tek are friends. Sami states that Abe’s a cop and Lexie has cheated on him before. She stands to lose everything if Abe starts an investigation, saying she’d lose custody of Theo in divorce court (who? How old is he now? Probably in grade school, haha) Sami admits if she had a choice, she’s have a life with Lucas and their son, but that can’t happen and she’ll settle with Austin. Sami rants about her sister has two gorgeous men chasing after her and she’d love to have that happen. If Lexie wants her marriage to stay safe, she better help her get Austin. Lexie tells her she’s out of her mind and can’t do that. Sami vows to call Abe and have a little heart to heart with him.
IN THE HOSPITAL CORRIDOR…Carrie tells Austin and Lucas that she’s made her decision, but Lucas tries to stop her from saying more. He asks that they both have time to talk with her before she makes her decision. She agrees. They flip and Austin goes first as he puts his arm around the patient and helps her to her room to rest while they talk. Privately Lucas says if Austin wants to marry a Brady, it’ll have to be Sami Brady and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. We find Austin talking with Carrie as she laughs til it hurts, remembering a good time they had together. He tells her sincerely how much he loves her, more than anything in life. He’s never felt more complete than when he’s with her. Nothing can ever come between them. He doesn’t believe in coincidences and that’s why she and Mike didn’t last. They belong together. She smiles in response. Lucas interrupts for his turn and Austin tells her he has and always will love her, and leaves. She wipes tears from her eyes as Lucas tells her he’s tired of being stepped on and used and won’t let that happen any more. She understands and agrees. He tells her that he loves her and would never hurt her. He knows what she had with Austin was powerful and they thought it would last forever, but it didn’t. He asks when Austin put her first like he did with Sami. She deserves something better. What they have is better and it’s based on honesty and trust. If she chooses him he’ll guarantee she’ll never regret it.
Later Austin and Lucas flank Carrie’s bed as she tosses her stuffed bear. She mentions Sami and says her decision has nothing to do with Sami.
AT THE BRADY HOME...
Billie arrives and finds Bo dressing hurriedly for the wedding and can’t find his cufflinks. She smells something burning and he rushes to the kitchen saying it’s the oatmeal pot. He returns saying the pots history and she asks what is an oatmeal pot. He tells her Hope wanted one as Zack loved his oatmeal, but it was too expensive, so he got it for her for their last anniversary. Now it’s trashed. Billie can’t believe that Hope is missing her son’s wedding and Bo says that Shawn didn’t tell Hope he moved it up, knowing she needed to get away for a while. (being Bonnie was given a clean bill of health, why are they rushing into it then?) He wishes there was a way to get hold of Hope and Billie figures maybe there is. She mentions the mental connection he and both have had in the past. He comments that was when they were in danger, but she says their marriage is now and it might work. Encouraging him to do whatever he can to reach Hope and make their marriage work, Chelsea overhears from outside the door and says Damn it Billie. What are you doing, trying to send me to prison?
We return to Bo pleading Fancy Face to know that their son is getting married today and he needs her. Chelsea busts in saying they have to work on her defense. Bo rushes to get ready and Billie tells him they’ll stay and pick up after him. After Bo leaves Billie tears into Chelsea.
ON MORGAN ISLAND…Patrick serves a freshly caught cooked fish to a distracted Hope. He encourages her to call Bo. Hope is still angry how Bo lied to her after giving Chelsea the keys to his car. She’s grateful Patrick found out the truth and told her. He reminds her how she defended Shawn after he rode his motorcycle through the church window. She says that was different, no one was killed. Patrick reminds her that someone could have been, they were just lucky. If she wants to keep her marriage, she needs to try and work things out with Bo. He gives her the phone and asks her to call him (we all know she’ll call home) and of course she does and Chelsea answers. Hope asks who it is and Chelsea says “Chelsea BRADY” (when did they change her last name?), who’s this? Hope asks what she’s doing there and she says it’s my dad’s house too. She asks where Billie is and Chelsea says she’s out with my dad, doing everything they can to help with my defense. Billie walks in and realizes Chelsea is talking to Hope, but Hope hangs up before Billie can do anything about it. Chelsea gives a cold stare at her mother. She says if Billie can’t fight for her and the man she loves, she’s fighting for both of them.
Hope breaks down telling Patrick what Chelsea said. If there’s any truth in what she said, how can she and Bo have a future?
AT THE CHURCHShawn and Philip arrive in their tuxes and sunglasses. Shawn’s worried if Mimi’s there yet and Philip tries to calm him saying that seeing Mimi coming down the aisle will be one of the best moments in his life. Shawn remembers one of Belle’s pleading sessions asking him not to marry Mimi. Shawn tells Philip there’s something he has to tell him. He asks what Belle’s told Philip and learns nothing. Philip checks for the rings and realizes he left them in the car and dashes out for them.
At the altar….Bonnie’s rearranging Calliope’s decorations, much to Kate’s dismay. Kate comments on the gown Bonnie’s wearing, saying it’s not a Basic Black design. Bonnie tells her the BB line was too boring and she had better be in the wedding pictures..and Belle, the matron of dishonor, NOT (oh yeah, right). Kate says she’s got her daughter in law occupied. Kate says a little guilt trip probably wasn’t good enough as they both worry.
In the bride’s room….Belle asks Mimi if she’s absolutely sure about marrying Shawn. Mimi tells Belle how lucky she was to marry such a wonderful guy like Philip and have his children. Belle listens patiently, then tells Mimi she can’t let her do this. Before she says any more, Bonnie and Kate interrupt saying Bonnie has last minute words for her daughter. Belle leaves, but Kate stays as they both warn Mimi that Belle’s a timebomb about ready to explode. They feel Belle should leave, but Mimi reminds them that she’s her matron of honor and best friend.
Caroline arrives with Mimi’s gown and Belle continues her mantra of stopping the wedding. Even Caroline is getting tired of it and tells Belle she made her choice and married Philip. Belle rants the lengths Shawn went to for trying to stop her marrying Philip. When the question is asked who has cause for these two not to wed, SHE will speak up. Caroline says that Shawn loves Mimi or he wouldn’t be marrying her. Caroline suggests Belle tell Philip first before he finds out publicly about Belle’s true feelings, she owes that to him. Disgusted, Caroline leaves after telling Belle to think of her little girl.
Bonnie wants to dress up Mimi’s gown, but Mimi insists on keeping it just the way it is. We learn Bonnie’s walking Mimi down the aisle. Bonnie gives Mimi a family garter that her great grandmother wore, a new hanky with Elvis’ picture on it (that she wants back after the wedding) and a big blue breath mint for when she and Shawn have their first kiss. Mimi says this is all wrong and her guilting Belle speech made her feel more guilty. She knows she’ll always be looking over her shoulder wondering if she did the right thing and starting her marriage with a lie. Bonnie tells her daughter that lies are the price every woman has to make to make her marriage work.
Father Tim asks Shawn to discuss the vows and Belle finds Philip alone, asking to talk with him. She tells Philip she loves him, but before she can say anything else, Kate arrives and pulls her away, saying they can’t wait. Shawn returns saying he and Mimi both felt the “obey” part of the vows should be removed. Bo arrives and hugs his son. He hopes Shawn and Mimi have a lifetime of love and advises him to grab that love and hold onto it.
The procession begins and Caroline walks down the aisle to sit by Bo (what, Pop Shawn isn’t there either? Or Roman (just where IS he?) And this is a Basic Black photo shoot, right? Where are the photographers? Belle walks down the aisle. Bonnie and Kate talk as Bonnie’s nervous if the wedding will finish. Mimi walks out in her gown and Bonnie starts crying, saying how breathtaking she is. She tells Mimi she loves her and lowers her veil and says let’s go show those Bradys how lucky they are to marry into our Lockhart family. Shawn smiles at Mimi and she smiles radiantly back. Shawn glances at Belle and Bonnie walks Mimi down the aisle. Belle watches nervously….as the previews roll…
Philip says “My wife asked if she could join me up here as she has a few special words of her own….Belle.”
Lexie to Sami: “What if the man you want doesn’t want you Sami? What will you do then?”
Frankie (outside the door) to Jennifer: “Jen, can I come in?”
Jennifer: “No, I don’t want to see you.”
Marlena (in her hospital bed) to Alex: I don’t love you.
Alex: "What a pity my dear, for you."
as the credits roll to "Alias" type heartpounding music....

Episode #10,274Tape date 2/27
Director Albert Alarr
It is hard to believe it is the morning of the wedding, with the hospital being the setting for most of the show. Carrie is much better, Marlena is even more so, Sami is up to old tricks, while Kate & Bonnie have a plan to neutralize Belle.
AT THE HOSPITAL, both Austin & Lucas arrive with gifts for Carrie, and continue their juvenile arguing over who Carrie likes best. (sometimes these two sound like the Smothers Brothers, lol). Lexie is in with Carrie, who is steadily improving, and could be released soon. Carrie mentions seeing her O.B. doctor after she gets home, to get input about the scar tissue, and getting pregnant. Lexie says that is a good idea, but just to remember that she probably cannot put off getting pregnant for any length of time. (Glad Carrie is seeing an O.B., we all remember what Lexie told Jennifer when she was pregnant). Lexie urges her to make her choice between Lucas & Austin, who are both wonderful men. Of course Sami is on the other side of the curtain, listening to every word. (I thought those curtains were sound-proof, they have been in the past, lolol)
John paces near Marlena’s room, as Abe tries to talk some sense into him, and calm him down. John worries about Alex harming Marlena. Belle arrives and he takes her for coffee. They go outside, and have a heart to heart about Shawn, and Belle, her husband & baby. She whines about how she has tried, but cannot let go of her feelings towards Shawn. John warns her that Shawn could reject her and still marry Mimi, and she would have burned her bridges with Philip, thus ending up quite alone. He leaves, and Mimi calls Belle. See below
Alex stands over Marlena as she murmurs in her sleep. She is dreaming of John giving her the clock, murmuring that she remembers “us”. She opens her eyes, sees Alex, but imagines him to
be John. Alex leaves, with Abe following him, but losing him. Alex has keys that let him into Lexie’s office. He rummages a bit in her desk, then bemoans that Marlena seems to be getting over her amnesia, he can’t let that happen, he’ll kill her first. He takes a set of keys, saying he’s taking them just in case. If Marlena’s memory returns, he has to make sure no one ever finds out the truth. As he leaves, Abe spots him, wanting to know what he is doing in Lexie’s office. Alex just claims to be looking for her. (hey, Abe, bet Alex has a bridge in Brooklyn he would like to sell you, too)
Meanwhile, Marlena is having all kinds of dreams about John, and we see flashbacks of them together thru the years, in a shower, in a pool, John holding Belle for the lst time after learning he was her father, a bubble bath, strawberries & whipped cream, making love, John introducing baby Belle to her big brother Brady, then falling down the stairs at the penthouse. Marlena comes to, with Lexie in the room, telling her she remembers everything, the explosion, falling down the stairs, losing Roman’s baby. Lexie stops her, insisting she needs some rest and she is going to give her a mildsedative, which Marlena doesn’t want. Lexie tells her not to talk, just rest, gives her the shot, & leaves. Alex arrives in his Dr. Creepy mode, white coat and all, and just stands over Marlena, her eyes flutter open. She murmurs about John as Alex listens.
Outside her office, Tek once again meets up with Lexie. He kisses her, she kisses back, but then
once more pushes him away, protesting about the public place, and he has to stop doing this. She goes into her office, turns on the light to find Sami in her chair behind the desk. (Sami has already spotted them kissing in the hall). Sami wants a little chat about her sister Carrie. Lexie tells her to go talk to Carrie, but Sami knows her sis won’t talk to her about this stuff. She wants to know who Carrie will choose. They argue, Lexie tells her to get out. Sami is almost out the door, when she tells Lexie that since she is so gung ho about everyone doing the right thing, she won’t mind if Sami tells Uncle Abe about Lexie’s affair with Tek. Cue shocked expression on Lexie’s face.
A nurse tells Carrie that 2 handsome gentlemen are waiting
to see her. Carrie has the nurse retrieve her purse for her, takes out a brush, and then pics of her & Lucas, plus her & Austin. Later we see her come out in the waiting area, spotting both Lucas & Austin, saying she is feeling pretty good.
AT THE LOFT Mimi is in panicville, convinced that Belle is going to be successful in stopping her wedding. First Bonnie arrives, then Kate, and all talk of perhaps preventing Belle from coming to the wedding. Bonnie has a ridiculous fantasy about roping and
hog-tying Belle. Kate tells Mimi she has too much guilt, and more than enough for all 3 of them. But Kate has a plan, and convinces Mimi to call Belle to come over. She does, talking of how she needs her there to help her get ready, etc. etc. Belle arrives, to find Mimi having nails done by a manicurist, and a hairdresser seemingly fussing with her hair. Mimi asks them, plus Kate & Bonnie to leave, so she can be alone with Belle. She gives Belle a gift for her matron of honor…..a photo album, and we see pics of Philip & Belle, plus Belle, Philip & Claire, and one of Mimi & Shawn. All the while, Mimi goes on and on about how happy she is, and she wouldn’t be there today if not for Belle, how she is her best friend, and responsible for Mimi living happily ever after, how Belle fell in love with Philip and has her own happy life. Mimi really pours it on, and we can see Belle getting rather uncomfortable with all the praise and thanks being heaped on her. Out in the hall, the eavesdropping Kate & Bonnie are ecstatic, with Kate saying it is perfect, and now she just wants to see Shawn & Mimi married. (and we want to see an end to all this, lol). Bonnie smiles, touches her nose and points back to Kate, agreeing with her. And the previews show…..
LEXIE: You’re a monster, you know that?
SAMI: I’m just a woman who would do whatever it takes to make sure Austin winds up with me.
AUSTIN: So you really have make up your mind?
CARRIE: I have
LUCAS: So which one of us, Carrie
BO to Shawn: When you find love, you gotta grab it and hold onto it, no matter what
HOPE to Patrick: Bo & Billie have pretty much become inseperable since I left. How can Bo & I have a future?

Episode: 10273Directed by: Albert Alarr
Tape Date: 2/22/2006
Belle and Shawn confide with his dad and grandmother about their true feelings; Sami bounces between Carrie and Marlena’s hospital beds; John continues to threaten Alex and Marlena starts remembering in her sleep.
BRADY PUB
It’s St. Patrick’s night at the Brady Pub and they’re celebrating life (hadn’t many of our Salemites been to bed and gotten up, like Marlena, Belle, Mimi, etc.?). Pop Shawn announced drinks are on the house as they all toast Shawn and Mimi’s wedding the next day…Victor included. The pub is packed with green clothed patrons, including Belle, who’s downing a pitcher of beer on her own. Caroline questions Belle, who having had a few green beers, announces she’s definitely going to stop the wedding the next day. Belle loves Philip, but it’s not the same way she loves Shawn. Caroline reminds her of their sacred vows and daughter. Belle doesn’t want to hurt Mimi, Philip and Claire, but she loves Shawn too much to spend the rest of her life without him. Victor thinks to himself that she’s feeling that bond with Shawn because Claire’s his baby. Caroline warns Belle that Philip might sue for custody and Belle knows Philip only wants what’s best for Claire and that’s her. Caroline knows hurt people react differently and he might. Belle asks Caroline about her situation with Bo and she says Victor didn’t know that Bo was his son until he was grown. Belle tells Caroline that she knew though. Caroline says she should never have had the affair with Victor. Belle says she wouldn’t have had Bo, Shawn or Zack then and Caroline realizes that she would never know what she missed. Part of her will always love Victor, just like her with Shawn, but she doesn’t share a child with Shawn like she did Victor. (Apparently they’re oblivious to Victor sitting right behind Caroline, haha.) Caroline tells Belle if she loves Shawn, she needs to let him go. She joins Victor, who scooted up to the bar quickly apparently. She tells him Belle isn’t willing to give Shawn up. Victor replies..like you did me. He asks if Caroline had the choice again, would she still choose Shawn. Touching Victor’s arm, she says yes. But just because she does the right thing doesn’t mean she’ll regret it.
Outside the pub Shawn arrives and finds Bo sitting forlornly on the bench. He came for pop’s big night, but not in the celebrating mood. Shawn suggests they go in together, but Bo knows only condolences for Zack and questions about where Hope is would be inside. Shawn tells his father he can sit out there and feel sorry for himself, but he’s the only reason Hope is out of town and only he can get her home. Bo tells Shawn that he’s loved Hope most of his life and she ALWAYS comes first with him. Shawn says he doesn’t want Chelsea in their family or life. He understands Bo’s dilemma and can sort of relate. He admits loving Mimi, but has always loved Belle too. Bo asks if Shawn’s had a change of heart. Shawn confides to his dad about what Belle’s been telling him and admits feeling torn between Belle and Mimi. He could only tell this to his dad as he was in the same position between Billie and his mom. Bo said there was no choice as he’s never loved anyone more than Hope. At that time he had thought Hope was dead. He remembers seeing Hope at Maison Blanche (cue the flashback scene of them together
then as they crawl into bed) and as soon as he knew it was Hope, there was no choice. He figures Hope needs some away time and he will give it to her. Bo advises his son to do some serious thinking before he gets married if he’s feeling this way. The biggest decision in his life is who to spend the rest of his life with. Shawn tells his father he knows what his answer would be, but he’s going to marry Mimi and have a wonderful life with her. Then Belle will recommit to her life with Philip and their daughter Claire.
SALEM U HOSPITALCarrie wakes up (hair and makeup perfect) after surgery to find Sami with her. She thanks her for all her help that day and Sami mentions she should have listened to those cramps earlier and gotten medical help. Sami says you only have one family and Carrie notices Sami’s upset and asks why. Sami knows she shouldn’t trouble Carrie at this time, but tells her about Marlena. After telling Carrie what John said, that Marlena could die, she lays her head on Carrie’s shoulder and weeps.
Lexie tells John, Abe and Alex that due to Marlena’s other traumas of late, she’s taking longer to come out of it, but none of her injuries were life threatening. Alex wants to see her, but John tells the lousy bastard he set the explosion and to stay away from her. Alex denies knowing Marlena was going there or setting the explosion. Abe settles it saying the investigation will show soon enough if Lois set it. Abe wants to return to the scene and John says he’ll go with him. Alex said he’ll wait for his wife to wake up and John and Abe insist Alex go with them.
Lexie opens the curtain to Carrie’s recovery area and tells Sami that Marlena’s going to be okay. She asks to speak with Carrie alone and Sami asks if she can sit with her mom, promising not to disturb her. Lexie agrees (probably knowing Sami would do it anyway or lurk outside the curtain). Lexie tells Carrie her laproscopic surgery was successful, and apologizes there weren’t any beds available for outpatients. She should be able to get up soon and leave. There is something they noticed during surgery.
Sami talks to her sleeping mother, admitting not having one single human on the planet that she can talk to. The truth is, she still loves Lucas, but could have a relationship with Austin..but they b
oth just want Carrie. She realizes that she’s responsible for messing up her own life and begs her mother to come back to her and help her. She loves and misses her mom and begs her to remember her and the rest of the family and forget Alex. We see Marlena’s dream as she hugs Sami and the scene where she finds John on the pier and they hug and he says You’re Back! She has more dreams of her and John playing in the woods and then kissing by a stream. She has more dreams about her and John’s wedding and them kissing. She calls out John’s name.We return to Lexie telling Carrie that they noticed some residual scarring from the ovarian cyst rupture Carrie had in Israel. Although Lexie says she’s not infertile from it, she recommends not putting off having children too long or she might be. Carrie admits wanting children and being a role model for her children with PTA, charities, values, etc. Sami overhears from outside the curtain and ponders who Carrie will choose to father her children. Lexie compares how differently Carrie and Sami grew up in the same house. She suggests Carrie choose who she wants to spend her life with. Carrie admits carrying for Austin, but mentions Sami. Lexie says that Sami doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings but her own and not for Carrie to worry about that.
AT THE FORMER CABIN SITE….we see a bunch of burnin
g rubble as the investigator tells Commander Carver (is Abe back on the force or not?) they can tell him what happened. It was a faulty water heater and although they found a wrench near it, so way to prove how it was used. John threatens Alex he will take him out even if the cops can’t prove he was responsible. Alex loudly tells John to watch it after threatening him in front of an officer of the law. He leaves to return to his wife. John kicks some wood and Abe tells him that Alex is right. If Marlena wants to marry him again, she can. She’s the only one who can stop this. Abe says Alex has Marlena under his spell and there’s still a possibility she would want to be with him. John vows to kill Alex before that happens.BACK AT THE PUB
A “friend” joins Belle and toasts her saying they always thought Belle would be the happiest girl in Salem, but she turned out to be the biggest idiot for letting Shawn Brady get away. Belle raises her fresh mug of beer and says to herself..Caroline, I’m going to do the right thing. One way or the other , I’m going to stop the wedding tomorrow…..

Episode #10,272Taped 2/20
Director - Albert Alarr
Lots of danger and problems today. I feel sorry for Sami – it is a very bad day for her.
THE LOFT ROOF:
Belle is dreaming about Shawn confessing his love for her. She tells him he can’t marry Mimi as they watch the stars. She wakes up suddenly having to tell him again how she feels before he marries Mimi and she heads out the window.
Shawn calls out for Mimi and Belle in his sleep. He has a dream of Belle coming in and asking if he has decided who he wants to spend the rest of his life with as she needs to know. Wakes up to Belle leaning in his window telling him she needs to talk and to meet her on the roof.
Kate and Mimi are on the roof discussing the situation for the umpteenth time. Mimi thinks he should know, but Kate wants her to think about everyone else and keep her mouth shut. They hide behind the a/c unit when they hear Belle and Shawn come up.
Belle tells Shawn he is making a horrible mistake marrying Mimi as Kate and Mimi both shake their heads in disgust. They continue to listen as Belle tells him how he is supposed to feel (learning from Phillip, is she?) He still refuses to cancel the wedding. He tells her that he loves Mimi, just like she loves Phillip, even though it is a different love than they share. It is a waste of their lives to try to go back to the past. He tells her that Claire needs her and Phillip, and he and Mimi can’t wait to be parents. She declares that she will not let him marry Mimi as both Kate and Mimi are totally flabbergasted. Belle still goes on about loving Shawn. Shawn tells her why he drove through the church window. He tells her that they love the Phillip and Mimi enough to marry them and make them their future. It is different love, but it is still love. He reminds her that she and Phillip have Claire, who needs her father as Mimi makes a sound and they stop to see who’s there. Finding no one, she tells him that if he goes through with marrying Mimi, they can’t have the future they dreamed about. He knows, but it is best for all of them, especially Claire.
Kate and Mimi end up in the hallway as Kate keeps on Mimi about not telling. She promises to take care of everything.
MORGAN ISLAND:

Hope insists she could have walked as Patrick carries her to bed. She wants a shower because she feels salty, but he feels a cold shower would ruin what they accomplished. He ends up carrying her outside to a warm bath, complete with flowers in the water. She is impressed with his thoughtfulness. They talk a bit more, and then he carries her back to bed (changed again). They wish each other a good night and he goes to kiss her on the cheek, but she pulls him into something bigger and they roll around until she tells him she wants him. He wakes up from his little fantasy as she thanks him for being such a good friend. He leaves to get some sleep and heads outside to cool off on the hammock, telling himself to stop dreaming – she is a married woman who belongs with her husband. She wonders what will happen to her and Bo.
TEEN TERROR:
Bo and Billie show up at Club Dune to search for Chelsea. Billie thinks she is acting out because she is scared of going to jail. Bo feels she would be a whole lot better off laying low. She makes him get his badge out before they go in.
Derrick is telling Chelsea to finish her drink so that they can go have some real fun. Flashback to him putting something in her drink and he watches her on his pda screen again. He keeps telling her to drink up, but she tells him no thanks and gets up. He orders her to finish her drink, just as Bo comes up behind him swinging. He tells him the girl is his daughter and proceeds to brawl with him. They go back and forth, with the pda going back and forth between them. Bo informs him he is a cop and the guy tries to get his pda back and then leaves. Billie takes Chelsea outside and lectures her about her behaviour – another photo of her drunk in a bar and nobody would be able to get her off. Hopefully she is scared enough now to behave.
They take her home where Chelsea complains she feels like she’s been drugged. Bo confirms it and shows her the drugs the guy used. Bo produces the memory stick from the guy’s pda and shows Billie and Chelsea the photos of her and other young girls that he did the same to – before he took them home and sexually assaulted them. They tell her that she is acting like she is at war, but they are the only ones who are going to help her. She thanks them and goes to get ready for bed, refusing Billie’s offer of help. Billie and Bo argue over what he is going to do with the evidence. He wants to put the guy away, to protect the other young girls out there, but Billie wants Chelsea to get off, and that evidence will work against her if the media gets a hold of it. She lays on a guilt trip about being a father to Chelsea first, then a cop. He gave her the keys after all, and he could have said no. Chelsea is acting out of fear and is not entirely to blame. Right now, he has to ignore Hope’s feelings and put Chelsea and Billie first. He admits he wants what’s best for Chelsea, but doesn’t know what exactly that is. He ends up illegally deleting all the files of Chelsea, but leaving the rest so that they still prosecute the guy. An eavesdropping Chelsea mentally cheers on Billie and tells her to get even closer so that she doesn’t have to face any jail time at all. (Somebody slap this kid already, please! And shake some sense into Billie for listening to her, too!)
CARRIE'S CRISIS:
Austin carries Carrie over to a table and tries to wake her up. She wakes up in extreme pain and Lucas insists she needs a doctor. Sami sees Lexie coming out of the back room and after asking her why she is even there, tells her that Carrie needs her (love her comment to herself: Better a bad doctor than no doctor, I guess.). Lexie goes rushing over to check on Carrie. She tells them that Carrie needs to get to the ER and the guys proceed to argue over who’s car to use. Sami grabs their stuff as they rush out.
Once at the hospital, Carrie is rushed to the OR since Lexie and another doctor think it is acute appendicitis. Austin wants them to go someplace quiet to pray, and Lucas agrees. Sami is exasperated that both guys are chasing Carrie and neither pays her any attention, except Lucas starting on her about not caring about Carrie. Sami is concerned about her sister. She is standing alone when she overhears a couple of nurses behind her talking about Marlena. She is in shock and near tears as she rushes back to the ER.
A nurse comes out to talk to Lucas about Carrie. She came through the surgery and is going to be fine. Both guys want to see her, but she says only one visitor at a time. Lucas claims she was living with him, so he gets to go first and follows the nurse, leaving Austin in the hallway alone, thinking to Carrie that he knows Lucas is pushing her for a commitment, but they belong to where Abe finds him to tell him about Marlena. He doesn’t understand why Abe is telling him, until Abe tells him that Sami knows and since she trusts Austin, asks him to come and calm her down.
Lucas watches Carrie sleep and talks about how she deserves to be happy and is his destiny. He gave up before, but he is ready now and nobody is going to keep them apart. Carrie murmurs Austin’s name.
LOIS' CABIN:
Alex thinks aloud that it is time for John Black to get what he deserves. As he remembers doctoring the stove, he is happy that in less than a minute the world will be finally be rid of John. They both spot Marlena through the window looking around, just as a fiery explosion rocks the cabin and throws Abe and John to the ground. John gets up calling for doc and heads for the fire. John rushes into the cabin and spots Marlena on the ground. Abe pulls him back just as a fiery beams falls. Abe keeps pulling him back, but John refuses to leave without Doc. John points out Alex outside the window to Abe, but Abe looks and can’t see him. Alex is sure she will be rescued and will be ok, so he leaves before the guys can find him. John brings her out to some paramedics and insists that it was arson and they should look for the evidence. He is not sure if the target was Doc or he and Abe, but he will find out.
OFF TO THE HOSPITAL:
They follow Marlena into the ER and Abe sees Lexie and tells her about Marlena. She goes rushing in to check on her. Alex shows up and John accuses him of setting Marlena up to die. He is sure that it was Alex who rigged the cabin, especially since he saw him through the window. He holds Alex accountable if Marlena dies. Alex asks if that would make John a happy man, but John says only if he (John) dies alongside her. Alex tries to convince them that Lois must have set the trap for Alex and Marlena – it was never intended for John. John doesn’t believe him, but Alex goes to check on his wife.
Sami comes rushing in and Abe grabs her and calmly tries to talk to her. She is yelling and blaming John for her mother getting hurt again. He promises to protect her, but she always seems to be in danger or hurt around him, and he isn’t supposed to be anywhere near her. He tries to tell her that Alex is to blame, not him, as Alex is the one that rigged the cabin (Alex is standing in the doorway behind the counter listening to them) and will be responsible if she dies. Sami starts crying anew, worried now that her mom might not live. Abe had gone to get Austin, who comes and takes her to try and calm her back down. John states that if Marlena dies, Alex will be next. Lexie comes out and they ask about Marlena’s condition. We get the usual, “I’m afraid it’s not good,” and the background fades to black on John’s face….
PREVIEWS:
Carrie: Are you telling me that I could be infertile?
Sami is sitting beside Marlena’s bed: Remember us and forget all about that Alex North.
Alex: Then I want to see her.
John to Alex: No way – you are the bastard that set that explosion that almost killed her!
Belle (to Caroline, I think) They are at the pub, and we see Victor in the next booth listening: I almost wish Claire were Shawn’s child. Everything would be a whole lot easier then, wouldn’t it?
Bo to Shawn: If Belle wasn’t married, would Mimi be the woman you chose to marry and spend the rest of your life with?

Episode #10,271Tape date 2/21
Director - Roger Inman
Very late night tonight as lots of people are reassuring each other, ranting to each other and just plain upset today.
AT THE LOFTS, Mimi is looking sad, as Shawn comes in and asks if she is ok. She shrugs and then tells him she is just nervous, as they sit on the couch to talk. He reassures her that he is also nervous, but he can’t wait for them to start their life together.
Belle gives Phillip last minute instructions for Claire. He tells her that they will be fine and that she should go across the hall now and have a good time with the bride-to-be. She tells him that she can’t go through with it. She flashes back to telling
Shawn she can’t live the lie anymore, and he telling her they have no future together. Of course, Phillip speaks up for her and tells her that he knows she will miss Claire, but she is just going to be across the hall. He will miss her, too. As he goes to kiss her, the door opens and Shawn and Mimi walk in. Phillip voices all of our thoughts for us: doesn’t anyone believe in knocking anymore? Phillip reassures Mimi that they won’t get into any trouble and shows her the movies he’s chosen. They all say their very uncomfortable good nights. Mimi finds Belle sulking in the hall and asks her what’s wrong. Belle say, “Everything.”We come back later to both guys half comatose in front of the movie, each with a beer. Claire is crying and they argue over who gets to go feed her. Phillip passes back out and Shawn gets up to put a bottle in the warmer. He sits down and looks at a picture of Belle and Claire. Time lapse again, and we see him feeding her, telling her she is the most beautiful girl ever and that he hopes to have a girl as beautiful some day.
Mimi is crying at the end of their movie. She asks Belle if it wasn’t a great movie, but Belle is fast asleep at the other end of the couch. Mimi listens as Belle cries out in her sleep, “Shawn, I have to stop the wedding.” She listens to Belle say a couple more things and then grabs the phone. She tells the person she is sorry it is so late, but they have got big trouble.
ON MORGAN ISLAND, Patrick and Hope are sitting outside. He still wants to help her, but she reminds him that the doctor said there is nothing they can do for a sprained back. He says he has something that will make her feel better. Time lapse and he is lowering her (in a new outfit and hairdo) into some water. He tells her more island legends that indicate that the ocean water around the island is magic, especially at night. Apparently the lady from the other legend washed up here, where her man found her. It has healing properties, which is why she was found alive. Hope knows that salt water soothes sore muscles and is still sceptical of his claims. Lights come on and she wants to know what is happening. He tells her that there is a school of lantern fish, who can tell when there is someone in distress. They lit up the beach when the woman washed up, so that she was spotted. They must have come to help her because of her back. Patrick tells her that she needs to go back to Bo and work things out. She wants to, but isn’t ready to face him yet. Is Patrick trying to get rid of her? She knows she is making work for him, being injured, but he reassures her that isn’t it. The lights get brighter, as apparently the fish are going back out to sea. He tells her to make a wish, but she doesn’t to as her wishes don’t come true. Her only wish is for her and Bo to be together, with Zack.CLUB DUNE
Chelsea is all dressed up and sneaks out of the house while Billie is in the kitchen. She shows up at Club Dune, while some guy watches her come in on his pda screen. She walks up to him and he offers to buy her a drink. The man asks Chelsea about herself, but she tells him she wants to hear about him first. His pda rings, and he goes to get her another drink while he answers it. He stands at the bar watching her on it, then pours something into her drink. Max sees her and asks her if she is crazy or just plain stupid (tough call, Max….I can’t decide either). He demands to know what she is doing there. He tries to remind her what happened wit
h the last guy she tried to hit on, but she isn’t hitting on this one, she is letting him hit on her. She tells him to stop treating her like a child – so he tells her fine, if she wants to ruin her life, go ahead, but she is doing it alone (about time, Max!). Derek comes back as Max leaves and asks about him. Chelsea says he is nobody important. She takes a sip of her drink, and comments that it is pretty strong. He tells her strong is good, as he views her on the pda again. He wants to take her somewhere private, and she agrees to go. (I am going to go with stupid, now, Max, although I reserve the right to change my answer later…)Lexie and Tek also arrive at Club Dune (actually, I think they arrived first and Chelsea last). Tek says hi to a lady, who turns out to be the owner, Janet (I think). He introduces Lexie as an old friend. Janet asks Lexie if her husband knows that she is there with Salem’s sexiest bachelor, and Lexie pales. She claims that she was just joking, but then tells her that Tek’s is every girl’s fantasy, count herself lucky (not this girl’s fantasy, but oh, well). Later in a private booth, Tek asks Lexie how she likes the place. He reassures her that no one they knows come here, so j
ust relax. They snuggle up with some smooches in the corner. Lexie is disgusted at herself for cheating, but Tek runs down Abe as half a man that doesn’t deserve his wife (uggg….barf bag, please. Why does she listen to this crap?). They go to go out and dance, but Lexie spies Sami, and then Lucas and Eugenia, and panics, wanting to know if he is trying to set her up to be caught. (You’ve already been caught, Lexie). He tells her that he comes there all the time and has never seen any of them there before. She closes the curtain and kisses him.Austin, Carrie, Lucas and Sami all show up together at the club (after Lexie, but before Chelsea). Austin thought they could try something new. Carrie isn’t looking well, and Lucas is the one who notices and asks, but she tells both guys she is fine, she just needs a glass of water. Sami rants in her thoughts that if Carrie is pretending to be sick to play both guys, she will just have to make sure it doesn’t work. Lucas leaves the table to go get Carr
ie some cold water, and Austin asks her to dance, leaving Sami at the table by herself and fuming. Eugenia comes in and stops to talk to the owner (a friend apparently). She notices Sami and isn’t too pleased. She points her out to Janet, who asks if that is really Sami Brady, the Scandal-a-minute-chick. (LOL). Eugenia then watches as Lucas comes back with the water and assumes he is there with Sami. She is not pleased about that at all. Sami is watching Carrie and Austin and complaining how she didn’t want to come to watch Austin make a play for her sister. She asks Lucas what he is going to do about it. He is going to get another glass of cold water. Austin shouldn’t have asked her to dance, she obviously isn’t feeling well and needs to be sitting down, resting. He runs into Eugenia, who gives him what-for for hanging out with Sami instead of trying to win Carrie. He claims he is with Carrie, but Eugenia says it looks like Carrie is with Austin.Austin tells Carrie how much he loves and how much he wants another chance to make it work. She is very woozy listening to him and doesn’t hear half of what he says. Lucas tells Eugenia he is going to cut in now, as she says he should have done it five minutes ago. Austin offers to take her back to the table, but just as Lucas comes up, she gets really weak and hot and passes out as Austin catches her. Sami comes rushing up and the three of them look at Carrie in shock.
AT BONNIE'S HOUSE (I have yet to figure out where Bonnie and Connor are living - at Alice's maybe?), Billie comes out of the kitchen just as Chelsea shuts the door. She is thinking of her conversation with Chelsea, where Chelsea told her that she made a mistake leaving when Hope came back from the dead, that she should have fought for Bo. Billie tells herself she made the right decision – even if she had fought, she wouldn’t have won. The doorbell rings and Bo apologizes to her and hugs her. He apologizes again for losing his cool with Chelsea. Both are frustrated with her. Bo asks forgiveness for taking that frustration out on Billie. Billie refuses to forgive him, citing that there is nothing to forgive. They both need to figure out how to get through to Chelsea without making matters worse. Billie tells Bo that she told Chelsea about Hope’s message and how won’t testify for Chelsea because it is what Hope wants. She didn’t want him mad at her for it. She calls Chelsea so they can talk, but of course Chelsea doesn’t respond. Thinking she must have her headphones on, Billie goes to get her, but comes back saying that Chelsea is gone. Both get on their phones, calling around trying to see if anyone has seen her. Neither has any luck. Max calls Bo, interrupting their diatribe on Chelsea’s behaviour. When asked, he admits he saw Chelsea and has some bad news. He proceeds to tell Bo, who is holding the phone for Billie to hear, where she is and what she is doing. He tells Bo he is worried about the guy she is with because he seems creepy (way to go, Max! I am gaining respect for you today!). Bo and Billie go after her.
Marlena is fast asleep at the penthouse as the phone rings. She asks if they know what time it is, as apparently it is about funeral arrangements for Lois (in the middle of the night??) She tells them they want to talk to Alex and gets up to go get him. Unable to find him, she goes to take a message. She tells them they wanted her to be buried in her own clothes. She tell them she will try to call Alex on his cell and call them back. She goes back to bed, but ends up getting up and tries to call his cell phone. (She is very sleepy through all of this). Unable to reach him, she gets dressed and goes out to get Lois some clothes herself. She lets herself into Lois’ cabin (she must have gone a different way as she didn’t see or hear the guys, and they didn’t see her). She calls out for Alex, but gets no answer. She finds a picture of the three of them and wishes she could remember that time. The stove is starting to smoke as she goes upstairs to find some clothes. As Marlena finds a dress, John and Abe are approaching the door and see the lights on.
Alex is at the cabin rummaging. When he doesn’t find what he is looking for, he rigs the stove. He leaves and just as he shuts the door, John and Abe show up. Each wants to know what the other is doing there. His cell rings, and seeing Marlena’s name, he shuts the phone off and claims it was a former patient and not an emergency. Abe wants to know how he knew that if he didn’t answer. John again asks why he is there. After flashing back to why he was really at the cabin, Alex claims to be the executor of Lois’ estate and shows them the papers to prove it. John takes it as proof that Alex has been planning the whole thing since day one. John brings up the conversation in the morgue, which Alex continues to deny. He tells them he has nothing to hide as he agrees to let them look around the cabin. He gives them the keys and leaves, to go hide in the trees. Abe talks John down again. They are sure he got rid of all the evidence, but they go to look anyway. From his hiding spot, Alex tells them to go look around, they may find something explosive. He then also spots Marlena in the cabin and wonders to himself what she is doing there, as she can’t die yet!
There is a huge fiery explosion, as the previews roll in:
Sami (screaming, of course): You promise to protect her and yet you never do. It’s all your fault, John!
Lucas to an unconscious Carrie in a hospital bed: You deserve to have a wonderful life. I just hope I am the man who will give it to you.
Billie to Bo (as Chelsea listens behind the door): Please don’t throw your daughter’s life away. You already lost one child; if Chelsea goes to jail, you will lose her, too.
Patrick: This is good night I guess.
Hope: Good night.
Patrick kisses Hope and pushes her back on the bed, as the credits appear.

Episode: 10,270Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 2/17/06
It’s the night before Shawn and Mimi’s wedding. Shawn surprises both Mimi and Belle; Abe and Lexie help John; Lucas and Austin fight over Carrie.
IN HER PENTHOUSE BEDROOM…
Marlena questions Alex about the bracelet he gave her, saying it appeared
to be the kind that should be engraved. He thinks to himself that he found it in a garbage can at the hospital and thinking he should have it engraved..Dear Bracelet, I found you just in time, Love Alex. He escorts Lexie into Marlena’s bedroom (is she prisoner there now?) and leaves them to talk. They talk about Abe for a minute and Lexie then says she came for John, saying he’s worried about her. Alex obviously was eavesdropping as he walks right in telling Lexie that Marlena is HIS wife and twists the proverbial knife a little as he reminds Marlena that Lexie was the one who declared 12 people dead that really weren’t. Lexie serves it back to him, saying she was the one who recommended Alex to John in the first place. She asks Marlena what medication she’s using and Marlena shows her the bottle of sleeping pills. Lexie asks to examine Marlena privately, but Alex not only refuses her, saying he’s a doctor as well, but insists Lexie leave as he takes her purse and arm. Later he tells Marlena that he doesn’t feel he was rude to Lexie and changes the subject, says he found a perfect place for their second honeymoon. She looks at the brochure, saying it looks beautiful and he smiles saying they’ll be all alone there and no one can interrupt them. She smiles and blissfully leans in his arms studying the brochure. She asks how long they’ll be gone and he says long enough to forget all the bad stuff that happened. Lois’ name is mentioned and he shows her a certified letter where he’s the executor of Lois’ estate. Marlena feels he should do it. A flashback of Alex and Louise in the cabin she rented (one he took Marlena to) as they talked on the couch and he verifies she doesn’t have any of their love letters or pictures together lying around. She assured him they’re safely tucked away. Back to present he worried about any evidence and says has to rush to the travel agency (must be closed by now, it’s dark out). Marlena paces her bedroom, thinking about John and why she’s happily marrying Alex, but thinking about John.AT THE PUB
John chats with Abe and Tek about Alex. Abe can’t believe what John was thinking when he learns John broke into the penthouse. John admits breaking into his own penthouse and fills them in about how Marlena wanted him to stay. John thinks Alex is drugging Marlena and now he wants Lexie to prove it. He tells them how Lexie told him
to leave on the cell and that she’d look into the situation herself. A flashback for those that missed it of what happened as John left on the terrace as Alex came in. Abe warns him that he’s playing into Alex’s hands. Abe warns John not to let Alex play him. Lexie joins them and says she observed Marlena closely and she doesn’t appear drugged. She saw the bottle of the mild, OTC drug Marlena was using (he probably changed the contents). Lexie feels Marlena could have been confused about whom she was kissing and Abe tells John to stay away from him. Lexie doesn’t share how Alex practically carried her out of the penthouse. John asks Abe if he would sit patiently by as some son of a bitch took his woman? Lexie looks guilty as Tek nervously drinks his coffee. We return later as they talk about Lois and John realizes there’s a way he can find out more about Lois, even if she is dead (probably where she lived). Abe feels he should go with John and apologizes for leaving Lexie after she just go there. As soon as Abe kisses her goodbye and out the door, Tek steps up close and tells her how much he enjoyed the park with her (take a shower Tek!) Lexie tells him they can’t be together like that any more and he looks down at her knowingly. Of course she caves and agrees to meet him somewhere.AT THE PARK
Sami watches as Carrie cries for help as she gasps on the ground, debating with herself what to do. Carrie finally tells herself she’s okay and it was just a cramp. Sami decides to sneak away, but sneexes and gives herself away. Carrie asks who’s there and Sami pretends to have been walking by and hearing someone in pain. She plays the sympathetic sister, insisting that Carrie get medical help, citing she can’t lose her now. Carrie appreciates that so much she has to be honest with Sami about her own feelings for Austin. Sami reminds Carrie what Austin did to her company and needs to move on now. Carrie would like to see Sami and Lucas back together, but Sami says that won’t happen. She tries to convince Carrie that being with Lucas and letting her have Austin would be the best solution…even hugging her big sister, to get her way.
SHAWN AND MIMI....Philip, Belle and Claire wait outside the church as Bonnie tells him on his cell that everything is ready. She says she and Calliope had a disagreement and worked things out. We hear Calliope pounding on something and Bonnie urges Philip to beat Mimi and Shawn there.Inside a replay of Shawn being asked if Mimi told him the truth. They say they had just talked about Claire and his responsibility with Claire. Father Jansen words it such that Shawn thinks he’s referring to Mimi not being able to have children as to if Shawn could live without his child and when Shawn says he can, he gives them his blessing. Shawn hints he has a surprise for Mimi. They go to the bandstand in the park and find it’s all lit up and a waiter unveils wine and glasses. Mimi is so thankful that he did that for her and he says he wants to spend his life with her and he admits having help with his surprise as Bonnie, Philip and Belle walk through the bushes (Claire sleeping in the car?) Belle has her token smile on. Shawn thanks them and says he wanted a small personal dinner(?) to thank them for their help and to toast his future wife. He says his part of the vows to Mimi and promising to be faithful, etc. in case Father Jansen talks too fast or he himself faints, LOL. Music starts and Philip dances with Mimi while Shawn and Belle dance. He can’t believe he’ll be married the next day and Belle says she wonders if he’ll change his mind about that. Bonnie grabs the waiter and dances with him, LOL.
Later everyone’s dancing and Shawn tells Belle (when asked) that he doesn’t know when Kate will have their honeymoon begin. As Belle questions him again, he looks her coldly in the eye and tells her he loves Mimi and is marrying her the next day. She is married to Philip and if Belle can’t accept that they are over, he doesn’t want her at his wedding. He walks away. Bonnie and Mimi talk. Mimi feels bad that she didn’t tell Shawn the truth and now she’s lied to a priest as well. (some romantic night before the wedding) as Bonnie and Mimi lurk in the corner talking about Mimi’s guilt for marrying Shawn with the lie hanging over them. Bonnie tells her it’s amazing what true love can do. Philip advises Shawn not to sweat the small stuff on their wedding day. Shawn hopes it goes smoother than theirs did (yeah, when he crashed the motorcycle through the stained glass!) and appreciates Philip being his best man.
BROTHERS AND SISTERS...

Austin and Lucas each insist they’re having dinner with Carrie. The brothers argue about how Carrie wants. Lucas asks if Austin’s going to steal Carrie’s heart like he did her company. Austin reminds Lucas he didn’t know it was her company, unlike him. Carrie and Sami walk in and the two boys argue over who gets to have dinner with Carrie, both saying they got her favorite foods. Sami watches and suggests the four of them eat together. Carrie apologizes for putting them on the spot like that and likes Sami’s idea that they all eat together.
THE CABIN
Alex unlocks the door and starts going though drawers looking for incriminating pictures and letters. (sure looks clean after being sitting deserted for months..and the plants are still alive too, LOL) Later we see (by the mess he’s left) that he’s searched the cabin thoroughly. He cranks up the pilot light to high, saying if she left anything incriminating, this should do the trick and leaves the cabin, locking the door…only to walk into John and Abe outside…as the previews roll…
MARLENA looks startled (yeah, she’s finally out of her bedroom) as we see the cabin exploding…
HOPE AND PATRICK are in a hot tub and she looks shocked, saying “oh my God, what’s happening”
BILLIE TO BO: “Bo, she’s (Chelsea) gone.”
AUSTIN TO CARRIE: “I need you in my life. I lost you once and I’m not going to let it happen again.”
BELLE’S talking in her sleep saying Shawn, you’ve got to stop the wedding.
MIMI (apparently Belle’s staying with her the night before the wedding) overhears and looks surprised…

Episode # 10269
Tape Date: 2/16/06
Air Date: 3/13/06
Director: Albert Alarr
Summary: Austin and Lucas BOTH have surprises planned for Carrie…Carrie seeks advice from Lexie…Sami sees something that could be useful to her…Father Jansen urges Mimi to tell Shawn the truth…Patrick comes to Hope’s rescue…Shawn forgives his father (at Mimi’s urging).
At the Apartment Building…Sami goes over to Lucas’s to see Will, but learns that he is going to spend the night at Shawn and Caroline’s…Lucas has a special evening planned. Sami notices her favorite flowers and assumes that the special evening is for her, but learns it is Carrie. He apologizes about the flowers (I guess it’s easy to get 2 sisters mixed up, huh?, lol). She says it looks like Lucas is pulling out all the tricks to get Carrie in the sack. But he says they are not tricks…he has true feelings for Carrie. Sami says she doesn’t care because Lucas is going to be surprised when SHE (Sami) ends up with Austin and storms off. In the hallway, Austin and Carrie run into each other. He wants to talk but she brushes him off. He fantasizes about kissing her and tells her that he came by to ask her if she would like to get together later and talk. She says she will let him know and leaves.
Austin goes to the Pub… and asks Caroline for her help. He wants her to get all of Carrie’s favorite foods together because he is going to surprise her and take her on a picnic. As he waits, Lucas comes in, thanking Caroline for letting Will stay overnight. He tells her he has a surprise planned for Carrie at his place and wants Carrie’s favorite desert. LOL at Caroline’s face as she mutters “oh boy”. Lucas asks her if she thinks he has a chance with her grand daughter and she smiles politely and says yes. Of course, she says, she liked him when he was with Sami as well. (Quite the diplomat, huh?) Caroline talks about him and Sami and about how they have a son and a history. But Lucas tells her not to go there…it would never work with Sami. Caroline tells him to never say never, as Lucas ponders this. She takes Austin coffee as he waits and asks him about Sami. He tells her that they have become friends and are working well together, but that is it. He makes it clear that it is Carrie that he loves and he intends on winning her back and won’t let anyone stand in his way. Caroline gets this look on her face and walks off muttering “oh boy, oh boy, oh boy” (LOL). Both of their orders come up at the same time as she takes each and both leave, thanking her as she says “good luck”. Lucas and Austin both arrive home at the same time and run into each other in the hall. Austin asks him if the flowers are for Carrie and Lucas tells him that they have a hot date and goes inside. To himself, Austin says man, no way is that date gonna happen.
In the Park…Tek comes up behind Lexie and grabs her and starts kissing her. She tells him to leave her alone and pushes him away and rushes off and hides. Carrie spots her and wants to talk. Carrie tells her that she is so confused and needs advice. They sit on a bench as Carrie tells her she is caught between 2 men. She tells her she has strong feelings for Austin, but then there is Lucas. Sami wanders by and sees them and hides in the bushes and listens in as Carrie tells her that Sami is interested in both of them as well. Lexie tells her not to worry about Sami. Carrie says all she wants to do is get married and have a family. Lexie talks about wanting a family for so long and then along came Theo. She tells her she will have all the things she wants, she just has to decide who it is she loves and then commit to him. Carrie says she is right…whatever she decides, she won’t worry about Sami…she had her chance with both Lucas and Austin and blew it with both of them. Sami mutters that Carrie did as well and wishes she would just go back to Mike…or anywhere, thousands of miles away. Lexie tells Carrie to close her eyes and without thinking…who does she love the most. Carrie blurts out Austin (as Sami shakes her head in disgust). Carrie tells Lexie that Austin is the man she truly loves, but so much has happened between them…and of course, there’s Sami. Carrie says she knows she said she wouldn’t worry about Sami, but she cares about both Austin and Lucas. Lexie urges her to tell Lucas the truth and the sooner, the better. Carrie thanks her for her advice and leaves as Sami damns Lexie for being so perfect. Before Sami leaves, Tek rushes up to Lexie and starts kissing her. Sami watches in shock as he rips off Lexie’s jacket, telling her he wants to make love to her right there. Sami’s mouth drops open as she covers her face. She thinks what a hypocrite Lexie is and then thinks that this could be useful. She walks away and sees Carrie sitting alone on a park bench. Carrie moans and grabs her stomach and falls to the ground, calling for help as Sami watches.
At the Church…Shawn is railing at Bo about Chelsea and Bo’s lying to protect her. Meanwhile, Mimi is in the confessional with Father Jansen, who says he won’t marry her and Shawn unless she tells Shawn the truth first. She tries to rationalize not telling (saying it would break up Belle & Philip). She says the truth will change everything, but he tells her she must tell and the sooner the better. Bo is telling Shawn that he should call off the wedding…Hope should be there. But Shawn tells him he doesn’t want HIM there either. Mimi comes in and breaks it up, telling Shawn she has something important to tell him. She talks about forgiveness and says that weddings are about families coming together and urges him to forgive his dad. She tells him that everyone makes mistakes when we fear hurting the ones we love. Shawn finally gives in and says that Bo can come to the wedding. She asks Shawn if he FORGIVES his dad and Shawn turns to Bo and says yes…Zack wouldn’t want them fighting. Shawn asks him to come and Bo says they couldn’t keep him away. Bo says he only hopes that his mother can forgive him as well.On the Island…Hope rushes to help the little boy who fell (James, I think) but as she looks at him, he morphs into Zack. She falls over the cliff and ends up on a ledge. She calls out to him and puts out her hand and pulls him up, calling him Zack. The ledge begins to crumble beneath her as Patrick rushes over as well as a nun. He throws down a rope and she ties it to James and he pulls him up. He then throws it down to Hope but she can’t reach it…as the ledge continues to crumble. She grabs hold of a root and hangs on as Patrick moves the rope closer to her. She grabs it and he pulls her up as well and carries her away from the cliff and (of course) takes off his shirt for her to use as a pillow. He has the nun call a doctor as Hope says she can’t feel her legs. Patrick whips out his phone and calls Bo. At the same time, Bo has a feeling that Hope is in trouble. His phone rings and he answers it “Fancy Face?” Patrick hands her the phone, but she just hangs up without a word. Bo tells Shawn and Mimi that it must have been a wrong number and he goes to light a candle for Zack. The doctor comes and checks Hope and says that there are no broken bones, but looks like she has sprains. Patrick says he will take care of her, even though she protests. Later, they are back at the house. Hope wakes up to find Patrick watching over her. She tells him this isn’t the first time he has rescued her and with her luck, may not be the last. He assures her thst he will always be there for her.
Back at the Church…Bo lights a candle for Zack and prays that he will watch over his mommy and keep her safe. He says he loves her so much and can’t bear to lose her as well. He leaves and goes to the pub. He and Caroline talk about Chelsea and the article in the Intruder. They also talk about Hope as Bo says she wants to be left alone until the trial. He tells her that Hope wants him to make a choice between Chelsea and her, but he can’t. She tells him that first, he needs to eat and goes to get him a chowder. As she serves him, she offers a bit of advice…telling him to go find Hope…even if she wants to be left alone…if not, he may lose her forever.Mimi is praying for strength to tell Shawn the truth as Father Jansen comes in. She tells him she is afraid to tell him, but he tells her she has a moral obligation to do so. She says she is going to do it right now and he assures her that she will feel better after she unburdens herself. Shawn comes in asking if she is okay. She tells him she has to tell him something about Claire. Shawn starts talking about their responsibility of being Godparents. She tells him that he is the perfect father figure…in fact…he is a great dad. He says he sure hopes to be someday. He can’t wait to be a father. He thanks her for urging to talk to his dad and says he has a little more of an understanding now of how Bo feels, concerning Chelsea. He says that if he had a daughter and was kept from her for so many years, he doesn’t know how he would react…as Mimi stares ahead. She says she just wants to be a good Godmother. Father Jansen comes in as Shawn tells them they are leaving and will see him tomorrow at the wedding. Father Jansen says he assumes that Mimi told him…as Shawn asks “told me what?”…Freeze frame on Mimi as the previews show…
Marlena: I am married to Alex…so why can’t I stop thinking about John?...
John (to Abe): What would you do if some son of a bitch was out to get Lexie? (cut to Lexie, then Tek)…
Austin (to Lucas): You can’t accept the fact that she doesn’t love you…and she never will…
Belle (to Shawn): You and I…(Shawn): are over…and if you can’t really be happy for both of us, then I don’t want you there tomorrow at the wedding…

Episode No.: 10268Directed by: Jim Baffico
Tape Date: 2/15/06
Chelsea’s parents both learn about THE INTRUDER and blast her (about time); Mimi and Shawn’s small wedding rehearsal/confessional takes place; Hope falls for a young boy on the island.
BRADY PUB
Chelsea joins Abby, confident her image is fine. Abby shows her The Intruder that the cameraman works for with a picture of her on the cover and an article about what happened the night before (they work fast!) Chelsea tells her what happened, but Abby warns her that Bo won’t approve of what she did the night before and can’t see the magazine.
SHAWN AND MIMI arrive for their wedding rehearsal at the chu
rch. Calliope meets them and tells Mimi she looks like a fainter. Mimi says she’s not, but hasn’t eaten much that day. Calliope told her to eat and assures her she’ll fit in her wedding gown (as does Shawn, awww). To liven up the wedding, as everyone seems so down, Calliope suggests “bubbles”. Mimi and Shawn say they’d like a traditional reception. Calliope remembers what traditional meant in Salem when SHE lived there and that meant hiring a gunman for the wedding…LOL. She yells to cancel the bubble machine and Philip and Belle arrive with Claire, who Philip explains had just had a melt down. Neither he nor Belle could calm her. Of course Shawn offers and manages great. Disconcerted, Mimi goes to find Father Jansen to start the rehearsal. We see Bonnie taking a small container of holy water for herself…claiming it’s good for whatever ails you, such as varicose veins, acid reflux or vampires in the IRS. Mimi tells her about Shawn with Claire and Bonnie takes a swig. Mimi knows that Shawn deserves to know that Claire is his daughter and should spend as much time with her as he can. She wants to start her marriage off right and that’s having Shawn know the truth. She lost Rex by holding the truth from him and wants to come clean with Shawn. Shawn, Belle and Philip are right behind her as he asks what she means. She tells him she has a confession to make. Calliope agrees and says they both have to go to confession with Father Jansen and will get him a cushion for his chair as she figures he’ll need it. Bonnie tells Belle and Philip there’s a great babysitter in the nursery (what, she just sits there all day waiting for kids to come when church services aren’t going on?) Belle decides to take her down there so they can focus on their duties. Bonnie again tries to get Mimi to reconsider telling Shawn. Belle fingers her own wedding ring, solemn about Shawn’s marrying Mimi.
We join the rehearsal when the groom is asked to kiss the bride and Shawn enjoys that part. Bo walks in and he and Shawn ask what the other is doing there. Mimi asks an angry Shawn to talk with his dad privately, saying he’s hurting too. If his mom can’t be there for the wedding, he should have his dad. He agrees to talk with Bo for Mimi and kisses her softly before stepping out of the chapel. Calliope suggests Father Jansen do some confessions and Belle’s first in line (of course). Belle confesses that she’s in love with someone other than her husband and doesn’t know what to do.
Shawn tells Bo that Hope thought he would wait until she returned before getting married. Bo asks if Hope knows that Shawn lied to her and Shawn tells him no, but it wasn’t as bad as his lie and he can’t blame his mom for wanting to be away from him. Bo tells him he’s trying to protect Chelsea just as he protected him. Shawn says he never killed anyone, but Bo reminds him about riding his motorcycle in the church window and could have, he was just lucky he didn’t. He pulled every string he could for him too. Shawn rants he wanted him to go to prison to learn his lesson and he knows that was the right thing to do (now) and Chelsea should do the same. Bo doesn’t deny or agree and when pushed, The Intruder falls out of Bo’s jacket. Shawn sees it and asks if Bo’s still defending her after that?
BACK AT THE CHURCH….

Bonnie tells Mimi that Claire’s got a sweet deal with Belle and Philip as her loving, rich parents. Mimi mentions confessing her problem to Father Jansen and Bonnie is opposed to that. She pictures herself confessing to a priest (using a list) on about all the men and bad deeds she’s done. The confessional starts shaking and smoking and the priest splits, saying she’s on her own. Meanwhile, Belle and Father Jansen talk about Shawn and there’s a flashback of him riding his motorcycle in the church. Father Jansen urges Belle to honor her wedding vows and says Shawn is about to marry Mimi. She suggests divorce and he tells her the church doesn’t recognize divorces (speaking of divorces, why aren’t Marlena and John at the rehearsal?) Later Calliope asks Belle if she’s square with God (being she’s not even the bride, a little out of bounds for a wedding planner to ask IMO) Bonnie lights a candle and tells God she’s a lost cause, but Mimi’s a good kid and asks God to watch over her daughter. Mimi goes into confession and says it’s been a long time. Father Jansen assures her that whatever she tells him goes no further. Mimi appreciates God’s forgiveness for all her other sins, but is pushing her luck now. If what she knows comes out, it could hurt a lot of lives. She tells Father Jansen about Claire’s paternity and how she’s tried to tell Shawn several times, but it hasn’t worked. He refuses to give her absolution unless she tells Shawn the truth. Without absolution he can’t marry her and Shawn in that church.
BO AND BILLIE

Bo stands fast that his priority is his marriage. Chelsea’s fate is up to the courts. Billie tries to encourage him to be there for Chelsea. She’s confident they’ll see a whole new Chelsea when this is all over with. Bo looks down and sees The Intruder and thinks not. Bo asks if this is the new Chelsea she’s talking about? Billie goes on about how Chelsea promised to stay in last night. He knows Chelsea has lied to both of them. Speak of the devil child, she arrives with sweet Abby and kisses “daddy” while asking “Billie” what she’s doing there. She sees The Intruder and says she can explain, but Bo (rightly so) blasts her with not taking her “I’m sorrys” any more. He said Zack’s not even cold in his grave yet and she’s out partying? He leaves and when she asks where he’s going, says to light a candle at the church for his son (great, maybe he’ll make the wedding rehearsal)
Billie asks Abby to leave so she can talk to Chelsea alone. Billie yells at Chelsea (about damn time). She warns Chelsea to not expect jurors to support her after seeing that. She tells her about Hope’s text message that she’ll be back before the trial. Chelsea tells Billie to do whatever she can for Bo and yes, even “put out” for him. Billie is furious her daughter wants
her to seduce him for her. Chelsea says she knows Billie still loves Bo and this is window of opportunity to get him back. Billie tells her to stop it! She tells “mom” she knows that Bo is the true love of her life and she could have lived there and not in hotels if she had done things differently before (no, I don’t think Bo would have bought that house on the lake on a cops salary). Billie sees Chelsea for what she’s doing. Chelsea leaves, saying if she goes to prison, she’ll refuse to see her as she won’t have a mother anymore (can we help pack your bags?)ON THE ISLAND
Patrick tries to get Hope to stay for a few more days and heal
some more. She blames herself for what happened to Zack, saying they should have been home on NY Eve. She has herself to blame as much as Chelsea for what happened. She leans on his shoulder and cries, then says she can’t hide forever. She’s scared to death. Before she leaves the island, he asks to take her somewhere that might change her perspective. He takes her to the beautiful location she saw in the picture at the house. It’s where the orphanage is on the island. She suggests leaving before the kids come out, but he knows it would be therapeutic for her to see that life goes on. A young boy Zack’s age joins them, says hi to Patrick and when introduced to Hope, rushes into her arms saying she’s pretty. She hugs the little boy and mouths Thank You to Patrick. Another boy joins them and we learn Patrick offered to teach a sports camp when he’s there as there’s no PE teacher at the orphanage. He tells the boys to show Hope (who says she loves football..go Patriots). The first boys face morphs into Zack’s and when he catches the ball, falls through a wood barrier and calls out to Mommy. Hope rushes to his aid. She sees him hanging onto a rock over a steep cliff over the ocean. The boys face morphs to Zack again as he’s calling..help me mommy, help me. Not sure why the boy’s calling her mommy, but….she finds a log to reach over for him to hold on to (just where is Patrick?) and the cliff crumbles underneath her and she starts to fall ….as the previews roll…MIMI to Shawn and Bo: I think foregiveness if very important.
BO: I pray that one day Shawn’s mom will forgive me.
SAMI TO LUCAS: I am going to be with Austin. Just you wait and see.
LEXIE TO CARRIE (whose eyes are closed): Which man do you love most?
CARRIE: Austin.
AUSTIN TO LUCAS (who’s holding a bunch of flowers): Are those for Carrie?
LUCAS: Yes, actually we have a hot date tonight.
AUSTIN: Sorry man..ain’t no way that that date is going to happen.

Summary: A new day has dawned in Salem. Austin rushes from Sami to spend time with Carrie at the pub (where both he and Carrie get advice)…Lucas seeks advice from Philip…Billie and Bo return to Salem…Hope and Patrick each get an eyeful.
At Sami’s…Sami thanks Austin for going for Will’s meds and all he did to help. She talks about him and Carrie in the elevator and how he didn’t seem to happy she rescued them. He doesn’t want to talk to Sami about Carrie and she asks if he has something to hide and he says no, and explains that Carrie was just frightened, and tells Sami to let it go. He says he has to go to a meeting and needs Sami now, since Nicole is out of town doing research. She has orange juice and breakfast for him and starts making small talk (about the Cubs) and then talks about Austin kissing her last night. He says that shouldn’t have happened and it can’t happen again. He says if he led her on, he is sorry…he doesn’t want to ruin their working relationship. He goes to dress as Sami says now Carrie wants Lucas AND Austin...and she won’t let that happen.
At Lucas’s…he is cleaning up the apartment as Carrie thanks him for remembering her birthday, as he is remembering kissing her…but she is thinking of Austin. She tells him that she has to rush off….she has a meeting with Victor. He says maybe lunch…he will call her. He moves in for a kiss, but she darts out the door. Lucas thinks she is acting different now…probably because of Austin. Austin and Carrie run into each other in the hall and he talks her into taking the elevator…since he knows how to fix it now. Sami sees them getting on the elevator and says it’s time for her to do something drastic. Philip comes over to Lucas’s with a get-well gift for Will…a video game. Will (on crutches now) says he is okay…it’s not like he lost a leg or anything. He realizes what he said and apologizes, but Philip assures him it’s okay. Will goes over to see his mom as Philip and Lucas talk. Lucas says it looks as if he is doing okay and asks Philip for tips. Philip assumes with Sami, but Lucas says it’s over between him and Sami (Will hears this from the hall). Lucas says he has other things on his mind and Philip asks him if he means Carrie. Lucas admits it and tells him that he professed his love for Carrie. Will hears this and mutters to himself (of course Sami hears him). Lucas talks about how he loved Sami for so long and Philip tells him he needs to deal with those feelings first. But Lucas swears that it is over between them. Will goes to his mom’s (who wants to baby him) but he swears he is okay. She asks him about Lucas and Carrie and Will repeats what he heard. Sami says that she doesn’t think that Carrie loves Lucas back. Will is still holding out hope that Sami and Lucas can work things out but Sami says it’s clear Lucas wants to be with Carrie. Sami asks Will how would he feel if she got together with Austin. But Will says he thinks Austin still loves Carrie as well. PopShawn comes by with a bag of Caroline’s cookies for Will. Will takes off for milk as Sami and Shawn talk. He asks her if there is any chance for her and Lucas. Lucas tells Philip he would rather kill himself than to go back to Sami…he wants Carrie…and he wants Philip’s help to get her, after all, he ended up marrying Belle. He asks him how does he get Carrie to forget Austin. Sami tells her grandpa that Lucas will never forgive her. But Shawn is sure that Lucas still loves her. She says but he wants to be with someone else. Shawn assures her that there is someone out there for her…and not to give up. Sami tells him, yes there IS someone, so he urges her to go after him. He says he isn’t much for giving advice…Carrie is the one she should be talking to. After he leaves, Sami says she can’t ask Carrie for advice…she is the enemy…and this is war. Lucas tells Philip he needs Carrie and vows not to let Austin take her away again. Philip wishes him well and says may the best brother win.At the Pub…Austin and Carrie arrive at the pub to find Victor there. Carrie goes to talk to her grandmother as Victor talks with Austin. Caroline wishes her a happy birthday as she thanks her for the sweater. Caroline asks Carrie if it is stressful working with Lucas, with Austin right down the hall. Carrie tells her of Lucas’s profession of love and then about her and Austin being stuck in the elevator. She tells her that she is fighting her feelings for Austin, but how Lucas feels ‘safe’ for her. She asks Caroline for advice. Victor asks Austin what is going on between him and Carrie and doesn’t want it to cause a problem…Lucas is very fond of Carrie. Carrrie tells Caroline about Lucas decorating his apartment and talks and how sweet he is. She says she wants a family and how Lucas could be the one to give her that…but there is Austin…and she doesn’t know what to do. Caroline talks about how she was once in love with 2 men. But she and Shawn took vows and he loved her and she chose him. Carrie asks her if she had any regrets. At the table, Austin is hearing pretty much the same thing from Victor. Victor is talking about how Caroline was always the love of his life and has lived with heartache from losing her. Austin thinks he and Carrie could do great things together but Victor doesn’t think so. Caroline tells Carrie she knows she did the right thing and she had no regrets. She urges her to search her heart and be sure before she decides. Carrie tells her whatever decision she makes…Sami will not be happy. Caroline thinks that Sami is cursed when it comes to love. Carrie talks about how much Sami hates her, but Caroline says it is jealousy…and it is Sami’s own fault that she lost Lucas and Austin. Carrie fears that history may repeat itself as Caroline says there is no fury like Sami scorned. Victor tells Austin not to be a sentimental fool and doesn’t want Carrie distracted by Austin, while working for him. He urges Austin to let Carrie go. Austin says he can’t do that…he wants to win. Victor says so does Lucas. After Victor leaves, Austin says he can’t give Carrie up…he loves her.
In the Woods…Bo and Billie wake up as she checks on him and he says he is okay. She tells him they slept together in his sleeping bag, but nothing happened. He remembers shooting her and looks at the wound. She talks about Patrick but Bo calls him a creep, saying he is glad she dumped him. She tells him that Patrick left Salem and Bo is suspicious, considering he left the same time Hope did. But she tells him Patrick left because he didn’t want to come between him and Hope. Bo finds Billie’s keys and she talks about going home, but he tells her to go on alone…he isn’t going back, there is no need for him to. He tells her that his wife is gone…he is oldest son hates him and Zack is dead. Billie suggests he go and look for Hope, but he doesn’t know where she is and says if she wanted him to find her, he would. She says his family and Chelsea need him and begs him to go with her. Later, they arrive at Bo’s house and he has a text message from Hope. It says for him not to look for her. She will be back before Chelsea’s trial and will do everything she can to put her away. If protecting Chelsea is his priority…then so be it. Billie is mad and asks Bo what is he going to do.
On the Island…Hope wakes up to the stuffed animal and wishes Zack a good morning. She goes to the outside shower and rips back the curtain to find a naked Patrick there. He dresses and sets up the shower for her. She gets in and turns on the water. It is cold, shocking her, so she jumps out and he gets an eyeful as well. After she covers up, he offers her a bouquet of the flowers as a peace offering. He asks her about renewing her love for Bo and she says she can’t go back to him…and doesn’t even know if she can ever look at him again. Later, he has fresh fruit and breakfast for her as she says she could get used to all this. Later, he is cleaning up and tells her to relax. She starts crying again as he asks her what is wrong and she says she has to leave. He tells her he doesn’t want her to go…as they stare at each other…and the previews show…Priest: Do you have anything to confess?...Belle: I am in love with someone…other than my husband…
Hope: I deserved to be punished…just as much as Chelsea does…(as Patrick holds her)…
Chelsea (to Billie): You love him…Hope’s gone…put out for him…(as Billie slaps her)…
Shawn (to Bo): This is why mom left town…and for her sake, I hope she never comes back…

Episode #10,266Tape date – 2/13
Director – Jim Baffico
Various couples have heart to heart conversations, none of which seem to really matter, while Chelsea once more proves she thinks only of herself.
SAMI CRIES as she continues to talk of Will and how much she worries about him, and what might have happened. She reminds Lucas of what happened to Zack, and then to Bo & Hope afterwards. Lucas tries to calm her down, as she tells him all she ever wanted was to be the best wife to him and best mother to Will. Lucas reminds her they will always be a family, giving Sami a glimmer of hope that they might get back together, but Lucas says it would not be a good idea. He goes to be with Will, while Sami heats up the hot chocolate. She finds a letter Lucas wrote to give to her on their wedding night. As she reads it, she becomes ever more morose. She brings the guys their hot chocolate, and runs out into the hall, thus hearing Austin & Carrie in the elevator.
CARRIE PANICS in the elevator, begging Austin to hold onto her. She tells him how claustrophobic she is now, after an incident in the middle east….wherein she & Mike were trapped for hours in a small space in a bldg. that had been blown up. Austin comforts her, then points out the trap door, promising to crawl out and get help. Off comes his shirt (This is Days, what else would he do? LOL) and he tries to open the trap door, oops, it is stuck. Carrie panics again, asking Austin to hold her. He convinces her to sit on floor, as will make it seem better, it does. She asks about his life in NY, then women he dated. He assures her he was never serious, they were not her. Sami calls down to them, and Carrie is screaming for her to help. Sami tells Austin how to press 3 different buttons to reset the system, it works, the elevator opens, and amazingly, they are right there on the same floor with Sami. (now WHY did we think the elevator was going down when it got stuck? Lol). Carrie is greatful, Austin goes for the presciption (putting his shirt back on), Carrie & Lucas return to his apt. while Sami vows to get Austin and not let Carrie stand in her way. (and 10 seconds ago she was wanting Lucas)
CHELSEA is at some club, bemoaning the fact she has to wear a wristband and be treated like a baby. She says aloud she wishes she could get at least a beer. Some guy offers to buy her one, asking then what is in it for him. She proceeds to kiss him…quite a long time, as Max comes up seeing this. He pulls her away, asking what she is doing there. Poor Chelsea was bored staying at home, whines about having to be cooped up with Billie playing gin rummy and drinking hot chocolate. Max talks of how it looks to a judge, but Chelsea is not worried, her trial is not coming up yet. She stalks off, back to the stranger. Later we see her with her beer, & Max once more trying to reason with her. As she takes a drink, snap….the stranger has taken a picture of the “tot killing teen” he assures her will be on the front page of the Intruder tomorrow morning. Max goes after him, with Chelsea following. As he grabs the guy, the camera falls to the floor, Chelsea picks it up, extracts the film. Max tells Chelsea this is exactly what he was trying to tell her, as she pouts with her “I’m sorry” mantra. They leave, as the photographer pats his shirt pocket, saying he is glad he has his photos backed up on this memory stick.
HOPE SITS by a fire on the beach in front of the cottage, as Patrick splits some more wood. She comments how peaceful it is here, but she knows she cannot run away forever and at some point is going to have to talk to Bo. She offers to help, and he shows her how to hold the ax. Splitting a couple of pieces tires her out, and she heads for bed. They argue a bit over who gets the bedroom, but Patrick assures her he likes sleeping outside in the hammock, under the stars. Later, Hope is having trouble falling asleep, and asks Patrick (on the hammock right outside her window, apparently….and no screens, glad there are no bugs there, lol) to tell her the story of the legend of the flower. He tells her of the woman in black, only survivor of a shipwreck, who washed up on the beach, and was found with that flower in her hand. Sorry, the story gets a bit convoluted, but apparently some man had washed up on the island years before, only survivor, too. Evidently some of his wife’s things washed up, too, including a bottle of special flower seeds she had cultivated. He planted them, a vine grew, and no flowers. He always prayed for wife to be found. Finally a flower appeared. The natives believed that the seeds were connected to her soul in heaven, and that God was so moved, the woman’s bod & soul were reunited and thus, this woman in black was washed up on the beach, who looked exactly like the man’s wife. Thus love was found again. As Patrick tells the end of the legend, we see a couple kissing, and she turns and it is Hope, & Patrick (dressed appropriately in clothes of that time period). Hope has now fallen asleep.
BO & BILLIE are freezing in the sleeping bag, and wake up to find the fire is out. Bo rebuilds it, as Billie moans of how worried she is about Chelsea. Bo drinks from his flask, as he rags on irresponsible Chelsea, while Bille defends her. She does not want her to go to prison, but Bo thinks it might do her some good. Billie talks about Hope wanting Chelsea to go to jail, but Bo says he is going to stand by his wife, that he is not going to lose her over this, and that tho he loves his daughter Chelsea, she killed his son, and has to realize there are repercussions for her actions. As they settle back down to sleep, Billie thinks to herself, that her mom and Chelsea were right, she is going to have to change what is in Bo’s heart, and take him away from Hope. There is no way Chelsea is going to go to prison. And the previews show……

Episode: 10,265 Directed by: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 2/11/06
Will returns home and his parents, aunt and uncle all rush to his aid; does Mimi's letter get read?; John, Carrie and Austin all get trapped...to find out why...read below ;-)
SAMI & AUSTIN
Sami pours her heart out to Austin about how she doesn’t deserve anyone, especially him. He disagrees and kisses her. Austin stops and gets up, saying they can’t do this.
CARRIE AND LUCASAcross the hall Carrie and Lucas finish kissing and she tells him she can’t do this, it’s unfair to him. They talk about worrying about ending up alone and they have a lot to offer. He tries to convince her they have each other and he takes off his shirt and they continue doing some horizontal kissing. Later we return to them snuggled under a throw as he talks about wanting a brother or sister for Will and knowing she wants to get married first. She’s surprised that he’s talking marriage when they hear Will’s voice in the hall. He rushes out and a woman who was chaperoning Will’s overnight nature trip explains Will sprained his ankle. (later Will explains he fell out of a tree and whata guy, not even wearing a jacket!) Sami rushes out and worried he broke his ankle, wants to get him to the hospital. The woman says that’s not necessary as Sami says “excuse me, did you say you were a doctor?”, LOL and helps him into Lucas’ apartment. Lucas stands up for Sami both to the woman (apologizing she’s a concerned mom) and tells Will his mom is concerned as he feels they don’t have to go to the hospital if Will is sure it’s not broken. They call Lexie (the never sleeping doctor who makes house calls, does life saving surgery, etc.) and she’s there before Superman could have turned in the phone booth. Will gets VIP treatment as Carrie offers to fetch the prescription for pain that Lexie called in and Austin insists on going with her as the drug store is in a bad neighborhood. She’ll also get his favorite ice cream (which we learn is chocolate chip). Lucas says he can go, but needs to help Will change into his PJ’s as Sami says she’ll help him. Standing a foot taller than his mom, Will begs his dad for help and threatens to call social services if she tries to (LOL..only in Salem would kids know who to call for that). Lucas agrees to help him. Will asks his mom for hot chocolate and she reminds him ice cream is coming, but he knows how to work the injury and she caves. Carrie and Austin suggest each other button up before going. Later Sami wants Will to stay home the next day from school, but Lucas tries to mediate as he thanks Lexie for coming. Her cell rings and she answers it in the hallway. It’s John, calling from Marlena’s bedroom and filling her in on what’s happening. Austin goes to get his coat and thanks Lexie again in the hallway. Austin and Carrie leave and Sami and Lucas accuse each other of making out with Carrie and Austin. Will hears their shouting and Lucas goes off to help him. Sami looks at the couch and can almost see Lucas and Carrie kissing. Carrie and Austin have the same conversation in the hall and argue as they wait for the elevator. He tells her he saw Claire and she’s doing great. She talks about her sister and his brother are good together. (boy it really is a family affair…his brothers married/almost married to her sisters, LOL) They talk about Billie/Bo/Zach in the elevator as it stops (could have guessed that) and they’re stuck in it. Austin forgot about that old elevator (hello, he’s been living there for how long now??? He must have been using the stairs.)
Sami and Lucas are alone in the living room and she starts crying, thinking they could have lost Will. Lucas says it was just a sprained ankle. She cries about Will could have broken his neck falling out of that tree. She’s tired of losing people she loves, like Will to him, her mother to all sorts of catastrophes, Austin and then him as well. Lucas takes her in his arms to comfort her.
In the broken elevator, Carrie is claustrophobic and asks Austin to hold her. He assures her that he’ll never let her go.
AT THE LOFT, MIMI breaks down and asks Shawn to go ahead and read the letter as Philip and Belle watch curiously. Shawn starts to reads it out loud as she starts off saying how much she loves him, but wants to tell him something before they get married. Philip says he knows what’s in the letter and definitely something Shawn needs to hear. She asks how he knows and Philip says he knows Mimi and she’d want Shawn to know all her hopes and dreams. He cites how his and Belle’s first year was apart from each other and happy to be part of their wedding. Shawn refuses to read it out loud and Philip tells them how he and Belle just had their most meaningful relationship on the rooftop and knows how Shawn and Mimi are going to be great together. Mimi is in agony. Belle’s cell rings and it’s the babysitter wanting to know where they are. She apologizes for losing track of time and they head home. Mimi hands the letter to Shawn, who’s reluctant to finish it. Apparently it starts out with her saying she’s a lot like her mother, a liar and a cheat. He asks her to tell him how much she loves him and to stop putting herself down. He asks her to look at him and smile before he starts kissing her. He can’t wait to marry her and means it with his whole heart. He tells her she only has to remember two words…I DO. He asks her to go to bed with him and she agrees. Leaving the letter behind, she looks at it as he’s absorbed in kissing her and leading her to bed.Back at home, Belle and Philip ponder what was in that letter Mimi wrote. She knows that Mimi was upset and it freaked her out. Philip figures he shouldn’t have spoken for Mimi (ya think?) and Belle wonders if Mimi’s getting cold feet. They hear Shawn and Mimi moaning (good grief) as Mimi tells Shawn she loves him in their loud bedfest. Belle and Philip doubt Mimi had cold feet now.
MARLENA AND JOHN are in bed kissing and she moans Alex’s name. Startled, John asks what she said as Alex walks up to the door and knocks, asking if she was calling him. She tells him no and John holds up the portable radio to explain what he heard. She tells Alex it was the radio. Alex tells her not to worry about John any more and she tells him goodnight, but rolls over and staring at John, calls out to Alex and tells him there’s something about John he needs to know. She tells him that John would never hurt her and Alex says it’s because he’ll (Alex) protect her and loves her. She tells John after Alex leaves that she loves him too, but also loves Alex. He’s her husband and they’re about to renew their wedding vows. John asks if she knows who he is. Later he calls Lexie (see above) and explains Marlena acts like she’s about to pass out, etc. (Alex must have her drugged) Lexie freaks out as she hears he broke into his own house and did so to protect Marlena. He hid out in the bedroom and was surprised she didn’t scream when she saw him, and didn’t tell Alex he was there. Lexie said he made a huge mistake. She pauses from her call with John to talk to Austin. She explains that Alex could have him arrested if he found him there. Alex lurks in the hall and hears voices, wondering who’s in there. Lexie orders John to get the hell out of there, warning him of the danger of him staying there (add former super cop to her credentials above) Lexie hangs up and leaves the apartment house. John kisses a sleeping Marlena goodbye, saying he doesn’t want anything to happen to her. Alex calls out Marlena’s name just before John goes to open the bedroom door. She’s sound asleep and Alex gets worried when she doesn’t answer him. John puts his coat on and remembers Lexie’s warning that a jury would find John guilty if it went to trial. Alex could prove John broke into his wife’s bedroom….as the previews roll….PATRICK TO HIMSELF: “What’s wrong with you Bo Brady? How could you let this woman go?
SAMI TO LUCAS: We could have been happy don’t you think. Don’t you think We could have made our dreams come true.
AUSTIN TO CARRIE: I would give anything if you would give me one more chance.
BO TO BILLIE (with flash of Chelsea’s face) : It’s about time she learns that there are her actions have consequences! (finally!)
BILLIE: No, Chelsea will not go to prison.

Summary: Except for the John & Marlena scenes…not much going on here. The rest of the show is the same old, same old. Mimi struggles to tell Shawn the truth…Belle struggles with her feelings for Shawn…Sami & Austin get closer…Lucas makes his feelings for Carrie knows. Sorry, but this is going to be rather brief…long day ahead.
Sami and Austin return home and he remembers it is Carrie’s birthday and is upset that he didn’t even send so much as a card. Across the hall, Lucas hasn’t forgotten and has the place decorated for her when they get back home. (Maggie helped him out he says). Austin is upset as Sami tries to get him to relax but he keeps beating himself up about it. Lucas even has a cake and ice cream for Carrie, but when he turns on music…his thoughts turn toward Sami. In the other apartment, Sami must turn on the same station (the song playing on both radios is "Home to Me", by Josh Kelly) because she thinks of Lucas and cries. None of this is lost on either Carrie or Austin, both realizing that Lucas and Sami are thinking of each other and question them about it, respectively…as the scene keeps flipping back and forth between the 2 apartments. Neither want to talk about it…Lucas proposes a toast to Carrie and new beginnings. She is tired though and decides to go on to bed. Same with Austin in the other apartment. Later, Lucas gets up to find Carrie crying by the window, her saying she has the birthday blues. He offers her warm milk. She is depressed, yearning for a family and wanting kids. He tells her he wishes for the same and tells her that he will be honest and tell her that loves her. Austin gets up to find Sami depressed as well. She cries and says she is so much trouble to everyone…Lucas and Will both hate her and Austin should as well. He says he will always be there for her…to cry, talk, vent, whatever…he is her friend. She asks him why he believes in her…no one else does…she isn’t worthy it. He says it’s not true…she deserves to be loved. Carrie is stunned by Lucas’s declaration of love and says she LIKES him, but they must take it slow. He promises to never hurt her and kisses her. Across the hall, Austin is hugging Sami and they begin to kiss as well.
At the Penthouse…Alex is typing at the computer saying his plan is working. Meanwhile, Marlena is sitting on the bed crying, ooking at the picture of her and John, as he watches her from the closet. She lies down and he tries to sneak out, but she calls his name. She asks him to stay, saying she still loves him and wants him to stay with her. Alex is all proud of himself and has flashbacks of him abusing and mistreating Marlena (I think he slapped her in the flashback). Marlena asks John to stay and he asks her if she has changed her mind about Alex. She doesn’t want to talk about Alex, she only wants to be with John. He asks if she is getting her memory back. She says she loves and needs him. She starts undressing him and says she wants to make love to him. Downstairs, Alex says he has waited a long time for this…as he has more flashbacks of mistreating Marlena and controlling her. John asks Marlena if she is sure and she says she wants to make love to her husband. John is so happy she is remembering their past and they begin to kiss. John asks her about Alex, but she says all she wants is to be with him. (Alex is at the door by now)…as they fall to the bed kissing.
On the Roof…Belle is talking (she thinks to Shawn) when Philip slips his arm around her…OOPS! Downstairs, Shawn finds Mimi’s letter and begins to read it and hears her, asking what this is about. She is boo-hooing and says he will leave her. I don’t really remember what all Philip and Belle talked about on the roof…mainly just the same old stuff. But he knows something is bothering her and asks what he can do to make her happy. He goes on and on about how she completes him and thinks she is upset with him because he is disabled. She has flashbacks of Shawn, but assures him that isn’t the case and tells him that she loves him and always will.
Mimi learns that Shawn hasn’t completely read the letter and is sure that he will want nothing to do with her after he does. She whines that she is just like her mother…a liar and schemer and doesn’t deserve him. He tries to settle her down, but she insists he read the rest of the letter. Philip and Belle show up and he tries to get rid of them. Belle notices that Mimi is upset and wants to know what’s wrong. She tells them that they deserve to know the truth…she wrote a letter and it affects all of them…and once they read it, everything is going to change for all of them…Freeze frame on the letter…as the previews show…Marlena (to Alex, who is outside her door): Alex, there’s something you should know…it’s about John (as John stares at her)…
Sami (to Lucas): I lost Austin…I lost you…I am so sick and tired of losing everyone I love (as Lucas hugs her and says :Come here Sami)…
Carrie (to Austin, it looks as if they are in an elevator): Would you hold me?...He does as she says: Just don’t let me go…(Austin): I don’t ever want to let you go…
Mimi (to Philip): You know what is in the letter?...(Philip): Yes and I think it’s something that Shawn needs to hear…

Episode: 10,263Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 2/9/06
Tek and Lexie almost get caught, Marlena’s memory takes a curve and Mimi can’t hide the truth any longer…..
Over dinner, Marlena worries about what John could have done to Alex. She tells Alex that John belongs in jail and he promises to make sure that John will never both either of them again. Alex remembers what he said to John at the morgue about crying wolf too often and how he’ll win. Alex asks Marlena to stop talking about John or anything else unpleasant. She goes off to powder her nose (hard to find something pleasant to talk about probably). She overhears John vowing that he’ll kill Alex with his bare hands if that’s what it takes to stop him and can’t believe her ears. He doesn’t deny what he said and reminds her he took a vow to protect her. Alex joins them. Abe stops John from playing into Alex’s hands and to use his head instead of his fists. Staring at Alex and Marlena, John agrees. He pays his bar bill and offers to drop Abe off at home. Abe declines, saying he’ll stay as John leaves.
Back at their table, Alex wants Marlena to concentrate on them and their future together. He goes to get their check and Marlena remembers something…. John giving her a blue diamond for their anniversary. He told her that it’s rare, just like their love and will last forever.
Earlier John finds Abe standing outside Tek’s lovemobile in the parking lot. Lexie realizes that Abe is outside the car and she and Tek listen to what’s happening ou
tside. Abe tells John his night vision isn’t that great and he thought he saw Tek’s car moving. They go back inside the bar as Tek tries to convince Lexie that she deserves more than what Abe is giving her and he’s the man to give her that. Lexie cries that it’s wrong before her hormones kick in again and they fall to the seat kissing and moaning again. We rejoin them smiling in the back seat and I’m sure if they smoked, would be doing so (is she going to end up pregnant?) Later she and Tek emerge from his car fully dressed. She spots Abe and Tek hides behind his car. Abe tells her it’s no good (cue the drum roll). What he means is his night vision and says he thought he saw her with someone. She tells him she just got back from the hospital and asks him to be patient about his vision being he just had surgery. She explains what he saw was probably just a shadow.Belle asks Shawn for a talk alone. Victor and Mimi are both determined to tell Shawn the truth about Claire. Philip tells his parents he wants to make a public announcement. He gets up and as best man tells Shawn that he’s marrying one of his favorite women. That said, he tells everyone his own story of what he went through during his short military duty (losing his leg) and how being married to Belle was the best thing he ever did and got him through everything. He
wishes Shawn and Mimi a happy marriage and family. Shawn goes to hug Philip while Bonnie warns Mimi she can’t tell Shawn the truth now. Belle grabs Shawn, wanting to talk with him again. Frustrated Shawn asks what it’s about and Philip walks up saying he knows exactly what it is. Belle said that people should be with who they love and Philip agrees, commenting on how it all ended up, but happy they’re all friends and even yes, a group hug. Victor and Kate watch. Philip goes to check on Claire (who’s watching her?) and Mimi goes to say goodbye to her mom and tells her she’s going to tell Shawn the truth tonight.Victor agrees to wait before telling Shawn as there’s too much heartache and pain already.
THE PENTHOUSEJohn goes inside the penthouse and snoops around with his flashlight for clues. He hears Alex and Marlena return and hides. Alex tells Marlena that it’s been a long day and he’s taking her up to bed. We see John hiding in her closet watching as Alex kisses Marlena good night at her door, grateful she agreed to wait until their wedding night to share a bed and room together. She thinks it’s romantic and sweet and they kiss again. Alex leaves and she takes her pills and stares at a picture. Downstairs Alex has a drink and said when John loses his precious Marlena, he’ll have his revenge. Later Marlena is lying in bed still looking at the picture. She turns off the light and rolls over. John steps out of the closet and quietly goes to the terrace door (gonna jump?) Marlena calls out his name and he turns, but starts to leave again when she tells him she’s glad he’s there and asks him not to leave. With tears in her eyes, she says she still loves him.
AT THE LOFT…
The foursome return home and Philip goes in to pay the babysitter while Mimi goes inside as well. Belle pleads with Shawn to talk on the roof. He said they’ve done that once before, but she tells him it’s important. Philip walks out with Claire who he said was still awake and wants her parents. Belle holds her and talks to her as Shawn watches. Inside their loft, Mimi worries about chickening out on telling Shawn the truth and decides to sit down and write him a letter. (are any of them working nowadays?)
Belle’s on the roof waiting for Shawn when an arm goes around her to embrace her. She doesn’t turn, just says I knew you would come and that the truth has to come out and we can’t go on hurting other people. Philip turns her around, asking what she’s talking about.
Shawn’s down to his undershirt and calling Mimi’s name in their loft. He sees an envelope with his name on it and opens it. He reads it as Mimi hides behind the door. Crying, she fears it’s all over with them. Shawn reads the letter and stares ahead in thought as the previews roll….
AUSTIN TO SAMI: “you’re definitely worthy of being loved” as he leans in and kisses her…
LUCAS TO CARRIE: “The hell with being cautious. I love you Carrie Brady.”
MARLENA TO JOHN: “I want us to make love.” John stares at her in disbelief.
MIMI (to Shawn, Philip and Belle) I wrote Shawn a letter and what I’m trying to tell him affects all of us. Everything’s going to change….

Episode # 10262
Tape Date: 2/8/06
Air Date: 3/2/06
Director: Herb Stein
Summary: Alice’s Bar is the location for Mimi’s shower/Shawn’s bachelor party, as Bonnie and Caliope don’t see eye to eye…Belle is still pining over Shawn…Lexie gives in to Tek again, and this time, someone catches them…Frankie and Jen share a romantic dinner…In the woods, Bo takes care of Billie…and Patrick may get a chance to take care of Hope as well (if you know what I mean ;-)
At Chez Rouge…Frankie has rented out one of Maggie’s private rooms for a surprise for Jen for a romantic dinner. She is glad, for she was feeling down and thanks him, saying it is what she needed. They talk and she is still upset about Hope leaving town, as she fills him in on catching Bo and Billie in bed together and how Hope was devastated. She cannot imagine Bo and Hope not being together. Frankie says people used to say that about them as well. Jen says they were young. Frankie says he understands…sometimes, love fades away. But Jen says she doesn’t really believe that…love never really fades, for one always has a special place in their heart for that special someone. Frankie says he has a surprise for her and the music starts and he asks her to dance. They dance and begin kissing. They hear something and go to the window to see fireworks and begin kissing again.
On Morgan Island…Patrick arrives at his beach house and goes to put his things away. Hope arrives shortly after, with the native guy’s help. He reminds her of the story of the flower and leaves. She goes to the kitchen and pulls out pictures of her family and of Zack. After a couple near misses, she heads to the living room. Patrick, having heard a noise is waiting with a knife. He grabs her from behind and she elbows him before they realize who each other are. Both ask what the other is doing there and we learn that Patrick owns the place. He asks her where Bo is and she fills him in, saying she doesn’t want to see him again. He asks if Bo knows where she is and she says no, she had to get away and doesn’t want to talk about it. Patrick talks about buying this place to get away and relax. He tells her that he had to get away from Salem…from her. Hope is confused and he explains that Bo is threatened by him and he didn’t want to cause problems so he left. He comments on the flower and Hope tells him the story the man told her. He tries to convince her to go back home to Salem, but she tells him that Bo has moved on with someone else…there is no marriage to go back to. Patrick reminds her that Bo has been everything to her and she says not anymore…it ended when Bo chose Billie and Chelsea over her and Zack.
At Alice’s Bar…Mimi’s bridal shower and Shawn’s bachelor party are in full swing. Tek is occupied staring at Lexie and she tells him to stop. Abe asks what’s going on…is there a problem? Roman and Kate are there as he makes a crack about her being there…then says that there are lots of men there, so she should be happy. She informs him that she is just fine after his ditching her and crosses her legs, telling him that is all he can do now…just look. (LOL). Victor walks up and asks Roman if he is harassing his date. Outside, Shawn and Philip arrive and Philip goes on inside. Shawn and Mimi arrive and talk as Belle listens from the other side of a bush. Mimi isn’t too excited about the party and Shawn asks her if she is getting cold feet about the marriage. She says no, she just isn’t too excited about the shower. They go inside as Caroline walks up, telling Belle not to do this to herself…listen to someone who’s been there. Inside, Bonnie and Caliope are talking/arguing about the shower. Bonnie is also chastising her for going on and on about Shawn and Belle in front of Mimi and warns her not to do it again. Abe asks Tek and Lexie what is going on as she is having flashbacks of getting it on with Tek. She tells Abe that she is just upset, for she feels that he shouldn’t be there, but should be home resting. He says Shawn is family and he wouldn’t miss this for the world. Caroline warns Belle not to do this to herself…let Shawn go. Belle says she wants to do what is right, but she loves Shawn too much to let go and walks off, leaving Caroline with a puzzled look on her face. Belle goes in and gives Mimi her gift and Mimi is glad she made it. Caliope announces that the “holiday-themed” party is starting and asks if everyone is having a good time. Off to the side, Bonnie is mumbling about the party not being any fun.
Lexie and Tek keep staring at each other as Victor and Kate argue over telling Philip the truth about Claire. Kate begs him to promise not to tell. Philip walks up and asks Victor what is going on…what is mom up to? He says nothing can ruin his mood…he is the happiest he has ever be
en in his life. Shawn tells Roman about Bo not being there and about Hope leaving town. Shawn doesn’t think they can work it out this time as they rehash the circumstances surrounding Zack’s death and Bo’s part in it. Some girl (from high school, that Mimi hated) comes over and starts insulting Mimi, saying that Shawn had to settle for second best and goes on and on about Shawn and Belle, asking Belle how she let Shawn get away. Bonnie grabs the microphone and announces that the show is about to get hot as a stripper comes out dancing (to Tainted Love) and riding the bull. Lexie watches him and imagines it is Tek (as all the women are hootin’ n hollerin’. Lexie gets all hot and bothered and when she snaps out of it, rushes outside…followed closely by Tek, Off to the side, Bonnie and Caliope argue over the stripper (Caliope thinks it’s distasteful) then she smacks Bonnie across the face with a plate of cake. Bonnie then takes a plate of cake and pops Caliope right back across the face. As Bonnie is cleaning off her face, Mimi runs over and tells her that she can’t lie to Shawn anymore. Tek catches up with Lexie in the parking lot and they start kissing (Lexie doesn’t protest very much). He carries her off to the car. Abe comes out calling for her and then sees the car rocking (you know what they say, LOL). He walks over for a closer view and (I think) sees Lexie and Tek. He rubs his eyes, saying, no…no.
In the woods…Bo rushes over to Billie and tries to wake her up. She comes to, saying he shot her in the arm. He goes to get his first aid kit and she begs him not to leave her and they start kissing. Okay, it was a fantasy…she wakes up and he apologizes to her as she is agitated with him. He picks her up to carry her to the fire as she protests (saying he shot her in the arm…NOT the leg, LOL). She asks WHY is he out there and he explains that Hope left and he doesn’t know where she went. Billie tries to assure him that Hope will come back…maybe she just needed to get away. He says that HE would have NEVER left HER. He beats himself up for all that has happened, but says she walked out on him, and if she DOES come back, he doesn’t know if HE would take HER back...he hopes she is happy. (Oh, come on, BO!) Billie tells him that they love each other and were meant to be together forever…it’s fate. Bo tells her that love works because you MAKE it work and that he must not mean much to Hope anymore. He is upset that she left without so much as a note or telling him where she was going. As he is talking, Billie has flashbacks of Hope seeing them together. She tells Bo that there is more to it…Hope left because of her…she did something unforgivable. Bo says no, when Zack died, he made the wrong choices. He changes the subject and wants to get her to a doctor (sorry, but Lexie is a bit BUSY right now, lol). She swears she is okay, but he insists. She finally gives in…but only if she drives. But then she can’t find her keys. She tries to call for help, but no signal on her cell phone. Bo asks her if she wants to camp out…but he has only one sleeping bag…they will have to share. Later, Billie is dreaming about Hope catching them. But this time, Hope confronted them (which I think she should have done) and Bo chooses Hope and tells Billie he never wants to see her again. Bo and Hope leave together, with Billie begging him not to go. Billie wakes up with a start, telling Bo she had a nightmare. He tells her he has had a few of those himself lately. He makes her lie back down as he holds her…and the previews show…Shawn (to Belle): What is it…just tell me. (Philip): I know exactly what she wants to tell you, Shawn…
Mimi: He is going to find out because I am going to tell him, Mom. (Bonnie): No…
Marlena (to John): These threats against my husband have to stop…and stop NOW…
Alex: Before long it will all be over…and I…will have finally had my revenge…
