Realization Day in Salem as Lexie learns of Abe’s vision problems, John realizes Marlena is back stronger than ever; Steve finds Billie wants all or none and Kayla just wants the truth.



COP SHOP
John visits Bo in jail and tells him he knows he didn’t beat up Patrick and about his trip to Italy. John asks Bo to cover for him with Marlena. John asks him to tell Marlena he’s not helping the cops. Bo replies on one condition, that you take me with you. John figures Bo’s got enough to deal with in Salem. Marlena visits Bo and knows John’s real reason to go to Europe after Bo tries to bluff her. Bo caves and says that John asked him to look out for her. Marlena glares at him and said if anything happened to John, she’s NEVER have forgiven Bo. She puts the shoe on the other foot asking if Hope was in trouble, she’d help him. Bo tells her the truth as to John’s trip to Italy and she rushes off.

Abe’s doing paper work in his office and the words blur on the page. Tek walks in and he asks if it’s Roman, but a surprised Tek replies no, he’s not as white and a few years younger, LOL. He whines about not having any luck getting another job in law enforcement and wants a referral from Abe. Tek reminds him that he worked hard and did a good job, despite their personal issues. Abe snarls, warning Tek that he’s lucky he didn’t throw his butt in jail. Tek pulls the old, I use to look up to you and we were friends card, asking for him to do the right thing and give him a recommendation. Abe says memorizing the handbook and good shooting skills does not make a good cop, what matters is in his heart and he slept with the commander’s wife. He’s responsible for his own actions and the result of them. Tek doesn’t give up easily and informs Abe that the State contacted him about how he feels Abe’s doing after the EJ Wells debacle. Abe knows they wouldn’t listen to an ex-cop with hard feelings. Tek said they would listen to him knowing he’s a good cop with good record who was let go for personal reasons. Abe finally agrees to write up a letter for him and says he’ll mail it when Tek tells him he’ll pick it up.

Lexie visits Abe and not happy when he tells her about Tek’s visit and the letter he’s going to write. Abe keeps rubbing his eyes and bumps into the desk. She joins him on the floor as he’s picking up papers that fell off and when she asks, he tells her about his eyes are getting worse. He’s nervous about giving the brass any more ammunition against him and if he took medical leave, would be the end of his career. He wants to wait until things calm down before getting his eyes checked out. He asks if she can help him out of there without bumping into things. She does him one better and says she’ll make sure he gets to and from his office every day. He tells her he loves her as they leave arm in arm.

Back to the cell block, Billie visits Bo and apologizes for the pictures Chelsea emailed. He isn’t worried about his situation, saying he always bounces back when the guard comes to take him to his arraignment. He tells Billie to wish him luck and she retorts he doesn’t need luck, he needs bail money (opening her purse)..saying she didn’t come down to see his pretty face (and she earns this money how??). He laughs as he’s walked away, saying thanks.

SALEM INN
Kayla’s doing some yoga and Lexie arrives, saying it’s too soon. Kayla’s tired of lying around on the couch and worried about how it’s affecting Steve. She wisely suspects that Steve lied for her sake. Later the two share a yummy looking room service breakfast (which neither of them eats) as Kayla tells Lexie she knows Steve so well and can tell by his face he’s in pain and lying. Lexie asks if Kayla could really let him go. Lexie warns Kayla she needs to relax and Kayla agrees, saying she needs to get away on a little vacation…with Steve. Someplace they’ve been before to see if he does remember. Lexie thinks it’s too soon and insists on going with her if she does go. Kayla agrees, saying if Steve is lying, she’ll need a friend to lean on as well.

Steve returns and Kayla explains her cabin fever and Lexie approved a few days away. She wants to go to the mountains and him to go with her. She urges him to level with her. He can’t tell her and says they should go away. He offers to make the arrangements, but she has something special in mind and will make them. They hug. (don’t think Lexie can be in both places at the same time, do you?)

REED HOME
Billie towels her hair rushing to the front door as someone bangs on it…calling out for them to keep their shirt on. She opens it to find Steve, asking if he has to. She’s in a hurry to get to Salem PD after hearing Bo was arrested and takes a minute to clarify the picture Chelsea sent meant nothing and why she did it. Steve doesn’t care, he just wants her to know he still has feelings for her. They talk about how he lied to Kayla about getting his memory back. Billie warns Steve that if she can’t have all of him, she doesn’t want any of him. She dismisses him to return to Kayla and says he needs to be with her until she’s well enough to tell her the truth. She knows he’s hiding at her house as he feels safe, nothing to lose. (I expected to hear Helen Reddy singing I AM WOMAN in the background) as she blasts him with being tired of being #2 and she wants to be #1 in someone’s life and happy…it’s her turn!!! (atta girl Billie…). He agrees and says he just needed to see how she felt about him. He just wants to know if she still feels anything for him and he’ll take care of the rest. She admits to still having feelings for him and it’s killing her. He walks up behind her, saying he’s going to make this right and to trust him. She turns with tears in her eyes and says okay.

AIR JOHN
Marlena joins John on the Basic Black jet. He tries to get her to wait until he returns before they go on a trip together, but she wants to go DiMera hunting in Italy with him. He asks who told her, but she says she could tell on her own. He refers to her as a psychiatrist/psychic, LOL. She says they may not be married, but they’re of one mind and going together. She crosses her heart and said no sense into trying to talk her out of it. He sets ground rules…no jumping off the damn plane and not to do anything dangerous. She sits down to buckle up and says let’s head to Italy….as John sighs..

BO to BILLIE: Why can’t I keep it in my pants around you? She’s lost all faith in me.

HOPE TO PATRICK: I came to ask a favor. Please don’t press charges against Bo.

SAMI TO LUCAS: What if EJ wants the money back?
LUCAS: Forget about it, ok? I make enough money for the three of us. Call EJ back and tell him you quit.

KATE TO EJ: If you’re serious about bring Samantha Brady back into this company, it will be over my dead body.

Summary: EJ pleads with Sami to forgive him…Max and Mimi learn what happened to Philip…Bonnie cleans out Patrick yet again…Bo enlists Shawn’s aid to help with Hope, but she has had about all she can take. (I wasn't going to use this poster yet, but since this movie is mentioned in today's show, I couldn't resist).

At Sami’s…She and Lucas are packing Will up for his ski trip and as he takes the skis down to strap on the car, Sami continues with her checklist. Lucas wants to do something special with her tonight…maybe pizza and a movie. He suggests the movie “The Godfather” and she laughs about how he is obsessed with that movie. She puts her foot down and he says she can pick out whatever chick flick she wants. He says whatever they watch won’t matter, because it will just be a prelude to other entertainment. They start kissing and wind up on the sofa. She stops him, saying Will could walk in at any moment. Lucas complains as she resumes packing Will’s bag and tells him to go and help Will with the skis. Later, she heads out with the bag and runs into EJ in the hall…but she doesn’t want to talk to him.

He tells her about how the police have been harassing him for the past few days and that he is just paranoid. He apologizes for the way he treated her and asks her to forgive him. She confesses that the police asked her for help and says she regrets helping them and is glad that he was cleared but after the way he treated her in her apartment, she just isn’t comfortable around him. He whines that he thought if anyone, she would understand, considering how many times she has been betrayed by her friends and family. He says he never meant to hurt or frighten her and it will never happen again. He begs for her forgiveness and she says sure, ok, she forgives him. But he can see that she isn’t sincere. She finally says ok, she does forgive him but makes it clear that they will be nothing more than civil to each other. But he wants more than that and asks if they can at least be friends. About that time Lucas walks up asking what is going on and tells EJ to stay away from Sami. EJ says he was just trying to apologize and wants a clean slate. Lucas says sure…you can have a clean slate…then I will hit you with it (LOL) as he and Sami leave.

Earlier at a restaurant…EJ was reading the paper (the headline says “Salem PD Apologizes – EJ Wells Cleared of Criminal Charges”) as John walks in telling EJ that he will be ready for him the next time. EJ says he is in a good mood and John asks him if that is because Patrick Lockhart is in the hospital. EJ acts surprised and asks if Bo beat him up but John says he KNOWS that EJ did it. EJ scoffs at that, but John says that his arrogant behavior just convinced him of it…then John leaves.

At the Garage…Max and Mimi are making calls trying to locate Philip. Bonnie calls and tells Mimi about Patrick being beat up and tells her to get to the hospital. Mimi rushes out just as Abby comes in with lunch. Max asks Abby if she can help with the search for Philip and she asks just why is he doing this. Abby thinks he is going overboard with this and neglecting his work at the garage. She asks if he is doing all this because he has feelings for Mimi…because quite frankly, he barely even knew Philip. Max comes out with some kind of lame excuse about how since his accident…his fiascos with both Chelsea and Stefanie…he is searching for direction in his life. Max asks what Abby has against Mimi and she says nothing, other than she didn’t treat Shawn very well. But Max tells her not to worry. Abby says that he doesn’t have a clue that Mimi is falling for him. He seems shocked to hear this, but Abby says she can see it…even though Max says they are just friends. Abby says she just wants him to find someone who will love him. He asks her if she has any ideas of just who that would be.

At the Hospital…Hope is with Patrick as he whines and moans about Bo beating him up. He talks about what a good time they had when they went on their trip to New York and asks her to believe in him again and that he has never stopped loving her. Hope says she never intended to push him away but she has a history and relationship with Bo. Patrick says he needs to be able to count on him as well. The nurses come in to check on him as Bonnie goes through his pants pockets and finds the wad of blood money and makes a deposit to the First National Bra account. Shawn arrives and talks to Hope in the hall, informing her that Bo has been arrested. Shawn says he doesn’t believe that Bo touched Patrick but Hope is conflicted and doesn’t know who to believe. Mimi arrives as well as she speaks to Hope but all Shawn gets is an icy glare as she goes into Patrick’s room. The nurses finish with Patrick so Bonnie asks Mimi to stay with him while she runs some errands. After she is gone, Mimi asks him what happened and he tells her that Bo beat him up for no reason. But Mimi is skeptical and assumes he had it coming. Shawn gives Hope a note from Bo and she reads it as it talks about how he rescued her from her wedding to Larry and they got on his bike and they began the ride of a lifetime. He says she put her faith in him that day and today he is asking for that again…to believe in him…he never lay a hand on Patrick. He says that even though he is hot-headed…he isn’t stupid. Shawn asks her what she is going to do? Patrick claims that Bo ambushed him, but Mimi just doesn’t believe him, talking about how he has been slobbering all over Hope and has Shawn mixed up in something with EJ. She says she doesn’t believe his “I’m a victim” sob story. Hope tells Shawn that Bo will have to deal with this problem on his own, even though Shawn tells her he thinks Patrick is lying too. She says she can’t continue playing referee between them and can’t handle it…she is finished with Bo. Mimi continues to needle Patrick about his involvement with EJ, even though he contends that it is only racing business. He doesn’t want to talk about it anymore and asks her to get his pants for him. He goes through the pockets and realizes the money is gone. Max calls Mimi and tells her that he has found something about Philip and to get back to the garage. She is excited and says “ok, see ya…love ya” and hangs up and rushes back. Hope tells Shawn that she doesn’t know what she is going to do but she just can’t go through this again. He pleads Bo’s case, talking about how so many people have worked against him, setting him up (Kate, Chelsea) and through it all, he was innocent for all the things he was blamed for. He is sure that dad is innocent this time as well. Hope asks if he knows something and he tells her that if Patrick is involved with EJ Wells…then she had better watch her back. He asks her if she really believes that Bo is a lying, deceitful person…and admits that he gets mad at him as well. But he is a fair person…and why is she so willing to believe Patrick over him? He says she has heard Patrick’s side of the story…she owes that much to dad as well. In his room, Patrick is accusing the nurses of stealing his money when Bonnie comes back and tells them to leave. She tells him to calm down, she will ask around about it. Just trust her…she will find his money.

Back at the Garage…Abby happened to hear what Mimi said on the phone and tells Max, see?...I told you so. Mimi comes in and Max tells her that ‘Andrew Spivey’ aka Philip was sent to Afganistan and about the bombing. He tells her that he tracked him to a Veterans Hospital in Atlanta. Mimi begs him to go with her to check it out. But the tells her that he can’t go running around all over the country, it is getting expensive and he has work. She says she has to find the money somewhere to finance her tirp and she knows just where to get it.

At the Cop Shop…Bo is trying to convince Abe and Roman that he didn’t touch Patrick…even though he wanted to. Shawn arrives as Bo explains to him that he had been trying to reach Hope but she wouldn’t answer…he needs his help. (This is when Shawn went to the hospital). Later, Roman and Abe question Bo about what happened and he swears he never touched him. Abe tells him that he will be arraigned tomorrow and informs him that he is no longer suspended…he is FIRED as Bo stares in disbelief. John comes in as Abe is ranting that the entire PD is in trouble…this is SERIOUS. He reads off the charges against Bo as John says the beating has EJ Wells name all over it. Abe says he has heard enough about EJ Wells. Roman joins John as they try to convince Abe and he finally says that IF they can come up with proof that EJ beat Patrick, then they will talk. Bo wants them to just bring Patrick in and they will see that he is lying. Bon is furious that he can’t help prove his innocence and tells Abe that while they are dragging their feet on this investigation…someone else in his family could get hurt…and if that happens…it will be on HIS head.

Later, Hope shows up to see Bo and tells him that Shawn gave her the note. She is just so confused and nothing is clear to her anymore. She says she can’t continue…she just can’t be jerked around like this anymore. Bo asks her to trust that he is telling the truth. She says she just can’t take it…and that the adventure he talked about in his note is over…she can’t continue on this ride anymore. Abe takes Bo away as Roman tells her if she loves Bo at all…she will talk Patrick into dropping the charges. Otherwise, Shawn’s father will be in jail for a long time. He leaves as Hope cries…and the previews show…

Abe (to Lexie): All I have ever done is be a police officer…I can’t lose that…I WON’T…

Kayla (to Steve): You don’t want to go away with me?...(Steve): It’s not that…(Kayla): You can tell me anything…

Bo (to Billie): I didn’t lay a finger on that cry baby…(Billie): But you are still in a lot of trouble Bo…

Marlena (to John): I thought you had quite lying to me…(John): Who told you?...(Marlena): Nobody had to tell me…I know…

And the credits roll…

Bo is set up by Patrick to take the fall for EJ, Nick does Chelsea a favor, Willow encourages Shawn, who gets berated by EJ, while Kate fails her daughter, in order to plot with her granddaughter.

THE BRADY HOME

Hope is trying to call Bo, who is not answering his cell, when Billie arrives. Hope is not too happy to see her, but Billie wants to apologize for Chelsea sending the picture. Hope is sick of it, sick of Chelsea’s schemes. She is trying to work things out with Bo, and they are well on their way, in spite of her carrying Patrick’s baby. She had to chase Patrick out, and then Bo went after him. If anything happens to either one, Billie will be responsible. Billie tries to explain, but Hope will not have any of it, and asks Billie to leave. She does. Later, Bo comes home to an empty house. Hope has gone to see Shawn.

OFFICES OF MYTHIC COMMUNICATIONS

Kate sarcastically reads aloud from the newspaper how EJ Wells feeds the homeless. EJ shrugs, saying he threw a bit of money at the Salem Food Bank, insuring the homeless would have turkey and gravy. She realizes it was a publicity ploy, and was milking it for good public relations. EJ’s cell rings, he is not happy to see who it is, and leaves to take it in private. He answers, angry that Patrick is calling him, and hangs up on him.

SHAWN’S APT.

Willow is snuggling up to Shawn, trying to convince him to buy the super expensive convertible which has a humungous down payment. Knock, Knock. It is EJ at the door, saying that if you want to keep making the bucks, my friend, you will have to improve your work ethic. He comes in, admiring the apt, furniture, and notes the convertible brochures. He tells Shawn that he has a great place, plenty of cash, a pretty thing to spend it on, and remarks that he gave Shawn all of this, but now he has fallen down on the job. Shawn replies that it is complicated, but EJ says no, it isn’t. Why have you not been taking calls from Patrick. Shawn tells him that Patrick calls at all hours, even middle of night, and hasn’t been paying him. Shawn had not heard from EJ, so figured something was wrong (yeah, right!). EJ gives him a wad of bills, to make up for his lack of payments. Shawn mentions having seen the TV, and was glad EJ was cleared of any wrongdoing. EJ tells him to try and convince his dad, but Shawn bad mouths Bo, saying his dad has been on the wrong side of everything of late. EJ leaves.

Later, another knock, knock. Willow again wants to hide, (thinking it might be Belle) but Shawn says no. This time it is Hope, looking for Bo. Shawn tells her he has not seen Bo, that they do not see eye to eye much. Hope gives Willow a “look”. Her cell rings, it is Patrick, saying he needs her, he thinks he is dying. (See below)

LOCKHART HOUSE

Patrick has been trying to call Shawn, who is not answering his phone. Bonnie comes out, and they have words about his stolen money. She claims he misplaced it, but he knows better. She denies taking it, saying she would never steal from her children. (yeah, right). Patrick tells her she would sell them all for the right price. She angrily tells him to get a 9 to 5 and he will get in the black again. She stalks out, running into Bo, tells him Patrick is inside. Bo barges in, with Patrick saying, hey, this isn’t your house. Bo tells him it isn’t his either, it belongs to his mommy. LOL. He (calmly, for Bo) tells Patrick to stay away from his wife, to call her if he is concerned about her pregnancy, and if Hope wants to talk to him, she will answer. If not, then leave a message like normal people. He goes on to say he will take Hope to Dr. appointments. Patrick reminds him that Hope is NOT carrying his baby, (low blow) but Bo replies that Hope is HIS wife. He tells Patrick that after the baby is born, they will arrange visitation for him, but that is it. Leave Hope alone. Bo leaves, and Patrick locks the door behind him. As he stands there, EJ’s voice is behind him, saying that locking the door will not fix the mess he has gotten himself into. EJ says he came in through a bedroom window, as no one should know they are in contact. He reams Patrick out for not paying Shawn, and is not sympathetic to Patrick’s claim of having his money stolen and being broke. Patrick needs a few thousand, which EJ gives him, but then angrily tells him that he has been handling things poorly, and could jeopardize the operation. And for that there is a price to pay. He backhands Patrick who falls to the floor. Later we see him, laying there, all bloodied, calling Hope. The money is scattered near him, and crumples it all up, stuffing it into his pocket. Later, Hope rushes in…..shocked at what she sees. Patrick murmurs “Bo, Bo did this”. Now Bonnie rushes in, sees Patrick, and babbles about Bo being outside when she left, and he must have done this. She calls 911 for an ambulance, and also wants the cops, as someone beat up her son.

CHEZ ROUGE

Nick, Abby & Chelsea are having dinner at Chez Rouge. As usual, Chelsea is whining about not having a computer, can’t IM anyone, she has no way of knowing what is going on in the world, she might as well be living in a cave. Abby tells her to buy another, but alas, no money. Abby suggests getting a job…”Like I have time” replies Chelsea. Nick offers to let her borrow one of his, one that he bought and paid for from his salary. He has one at home he rarely uses, as he mostly uses the one at work. Chelsea is surprised, and agrees, as he offers to go get it NOW. (poor guy, cannot even finish his dinner). Now Abby scolds her for taking advantage of Nick. She accuses her of playing him. Chelsea denies it, but Abby warns her that Nick has a big crush on her. Oooh, news to Chelsea. When did this happen? Abby explains how intrigued Nick was at meeting her, how he has helped her out with the bartender at Dune, inviting her to the Brady Thanksgiving and now the computer. Chelsea is surprised, but delighted. Nick returns with the laptop, with Chelsea giving Nick another peck on the cheek, making him very happy. Chelsea leaves with the laptop, and Abby tries to make Nick realize what is going on., but he is too enthralled. He leaves.

BACK AT MYTHIC

Billie comes to see Kate, shows her the picture, telling her all that Chelsea did, and asks her to not be sympathetic to Chelsea. She says her daughter looks up to Kate, and asks her help in straightening her out. In walks Chelsea, bearing her borrowed laptop, bragging about how she got it. Billie scolds her a bit, then Kate wants to talk to Chelsea alone. Chelsea is all snotty about how she took the picture, and why she sent it to Hope, Patrick & the pirate. Kate seems at first to be going to give her a dressing down, but ends up telling Chelsea that she is gutsy and determined, and congratulates her on what she did. Bravissimo, she says, calling her a diamond in the rough. Now comes lecture on being sneaky, but appearing to be nice, staying focused on her goal, and the advice to start a blog, telling everyone how she feels….. and to treat her parents with kid gloves.

SALEM HOSPITAL

Patrick is on the bed, all cleaned up, with Bonnie telling him how they are going to sue the Brady’s, not to worry, she will take care of legal stuff, and has just been waiting for a chance like this. He weakly calls for Hope. Outside in the hall, Hope has called Bo, who has no idea what she is talking about. When she says she is at hospital with Patrick, he thinks for an appt., and tells her he TOLD her he would go with her. Miscommunication going on, of course, as Hope tells him not to pretend he does not know what she is talking about. Bonnie comes out for her..and she hangs up. Hope goes in to see Patrick, who tells her he has broken ribs, some internal bleeding, and says Bo has probably gone on the lam. Hope says she doubts it. He asks her to stay with him til the cat scan reports comes in, telling her she is all he has. (sure, no mom, sis, brother, etc. )

Billie comes home, sees the place in a shambles, then the blood on the floor. She calls Bo, telling him, then sees a note from Bonnie saying she took Patrick to the hospital. She realizes it must be Patrick’s blood.

Shawn has bought that convertible, and is out joyriding with Willow. She wants to go to Chez Rouge, as would like to be served, instead of serving others. Life is perfect, except for one thing. He decides to put the pedal to the metal. (And it is end of November in the Midwest…have not seen a single convertible with the top down. Shawn & Willow must be really warm blooded people, lol)

EJ comes into Kate’s office, looking a bit rumpled, tie askew, hair a bit messed. She comments about it. He takes off his tie, inviting her over to his place, but she says, why leave. We can stay here, as they begin to make out. (looks like that desk will get cleared off soon again, Ha. AND…..with Patrick as beat up as he is, why do EJ’s hands look so good? It would seem there would at least be some abrasions, etc. )

Chelsea is in her bedroom, prettying herself up, then sits cross legged on her lovely bed, and begins talking to her set up cell phone. She evidently is making a video blog, as she says her name is Chelsea, she is 19, this is her room, she lives with her mom and some other people not worth mentioning. She says she doesn’t get along with her mom, all people are hypocrites, and something about wearing steel toed boots to kick some butt. We see Nick avidly watching at work, as he eats his sandwich. (Now how the heck does he even KNOW she is doing this? Sigghhhh)

Bo is trying to get Billie to tell him what is going on. Knock, Knock. There is Officer Schulz to arrest a very puzzled Bo. He thinks it is a joke. No joke.

Shawn & Willow are having a fancy dinner at Chez Rouge, as she mentions she cannot believe she is eating escargot. Shawn informs her that is snails. LOL. He looks over the menu, noting the brains and sweetbreads, deciding he will just have a steak. Abby comes up, telling him there is a message for him from Bo, that he wants to see him. Shawn is ready to ignore it, but Abby says his father has been arrested, and needs him. And the previews roll…….

MAX: Don’t worry about me, Abby, I know what I’m doing, okay? Abby: If that’s true, then why do you seem to not have a clue that mimi is falling for you?

ABE, angrily, TO JOHN: We’re done talking about EJ Wells. It’s over. Now do I make myself clear. (Bo is in the background)

EJ TO SAMI: I’m not beyond forgiveness….am I?

HOPE TO BO: I can’t continue on this ride with you any longer. It’s over.

THE PENTHOUSE
Marlena’s on the phone making wedding plans when Kate knocks at the door. She’s angry and looking for John to “wring his neck.” Kate tells Marlena about ransacking EJ’s apartment for John and now EJ knows. Marlena smiles, admitting knowing all of it. Kate said EJ told her he was innocent, but Marlena suggests that EJ might be lying (ya think?) Marlena asks how close Kate is with EJ and she says they’re more than partners, they’re friends. Marlena’s back on her game and realizes that Kate’s been sleeping with EJ. Kate refuses to spy on EJ again for John and Marlena points out that John’s off the case, he gave her his word, so not a problem.

John returns home and tells her he talked to Abe and Roman, saying the department closed the case on EJ. He says they wanted him to wash his hands of it and he is. He then says he has to go to Italy as one of their Basic Black branches there is under performing.

CARVER HOME
Abe, Roman and John stand (doesn’t anyone ever sit?) in front of the fire to discuss Celeste and her tarot card explanations. Roman reminds them that the death card was missing and put them on high alert. If EJ gets that card, they don’t know who will be the target. John takes off his coat and asks if they have any idea whose death is expected. Abe reminds him about the onyx ring Kate found in EJ’s room and Celeste confirmed that EJ is a Dimera and as such, determined to ruin the Brady’s. Roman says their investigation has to go undercover now and that’s where John comes in…being he’s a Dimera himself. John’s surprised by Abe’s change of direction, now wanting him to get involved. John guesses Abe wants him to go to Italy to investigate and is right. John tells them no, he can’t do that to his wife. They suggest he lie to Marlena about a business trip to Italy, but John worries that if he got killed in the process, how Marlena would feel. Roman reminds him what will happen if John doesn’t help. John reluctantly agrees and demands Abe swear that NO ONE knows about it..especially Marlena. The three tap fists in agreement and John keeps saying DAMN, LOL.

BRADY HOME
Bo returns home to find Hope crying over a note he sent saying he never wants to lose her again and that love is forever. They kiss and she dashes (holding her tummy) upstairs to get into something more provocative. In a little while Hope comes downstairs looking morose. She explains her laptop was open and she had an email..she almost deleted it, not recognizing the sender, but didn’t and shows him the picture of him and Billie (guess her laptop must be hooked up to a printer upstairs). The picture was date stamped and Bo says it was the day at the pub and Billie was there…Hope remembers. He calmly states nothing happened and that he and Billie realized they were just friends. She was upset over Steve and he over Hope. Billie calls and says she saw the picture and he asks if SHE is there and to keep her there..he’s on his way over. Bo leaves to see Chelsea and Patrick arrives. He walks in and tries to take advantage of the situation, but Hope tells him to stay out of her personal life with Bo. He grabs the picture asking if she’s going to take Bo back when he can’t keep his hands off Billie. He isn’t happy when Hope tells him that he shouldn’t think the picture opens a door for him again and he comes at her to change her mind when she backs into the vase with Bo’s flowers backing away from him. It crashes to the floor and breaks. He says it was an accident and she shouts for her to GO, GET OUT and he does so. She squats down and picks up a flower (she’s still wearing HEELS?)

REED HOME
Steve calls Billie to see if they’re still on for lunch. He’s found a place out in the country near a lake and says he’ll pick her up in an hour. Patrick arrives and shows Billie the picture of her and Bo sitting on the bed and when she asks who would do something like that, he glances at a guilty looking Chelsea. (c’mon ISA Billie, Chelsea SHOWED you that picture on her cellphone, didn’t she?) Chelsea snottily plays innocent, but then admits doing it. Patrick leaves after Chelsea admits sending it to Hope and the pirate (Steve) too. Billie lectures Chelsea that Bo might not forgive her so easily after this. The two argue about it and Chelsea is sure Billie wants to be with Bo. Billie looks the brat in the face and says nothing happened as they both know it’s over. Bo arrives after Billie just talked with Steve. He said he can’t come over as planned and when she tells him she needs to talk to him, he rushes off saying he has to go.

Outside Patrick calls Dr. Bader and reminds her to do the amnio herself and make sure that she confirms he’s the father, not Bo. He promises to send her the money after he gets an advance from his boss.

Bo arrives and when he hears Billie tells Chelsea…”are you happy now, you got what you wanted.” He tells Chelsea to STOP WHINING and to realize that she can’t break up him and Hope. He lectures her and then looks across the room and strolls over saying there IS something she is going to have to learn to live without, closes her laptop and THROWS it out the front door (ouch…just take it with you bud…don’t hurt a perfectly good laptop, LOL). She rants her whole life was on THAT computer…he asks why he should care the way she’s trying to destroy others lives. Bo takes off and Billie tells her that’s it..from now on they have zero tolerance for her. Chelsea takes her coat and leaves.

Chelsea runs into Grandma Kate out front and whines she’s a failure, not as good as Kate is. She whines more about how mad Bo is at her. Kate says she didn’t plan for the possibility of getting caught and next time needs a plan B. She has to look at her long term goal, a family who loves her. She has to reenergize and go after her goal.

Inside Billie is crying to Patrick. He tells her she deserves better if Chelsea scared Steve off.

SALEM INN
Steve knocks on Kayla’s door and we find Lexie taking her blood pressure. Both ladies are thankful to have each other. Steve asks Kayla if she minds if he goes out for a while being she’s in such good hands and before Kayla can reply, Stephanie tells him no, that mom needs him. Kayla tells Stephanie that Steve was cooped up in the hospital too and needs some space too. Stephanie leaves after Steve says he doesn’t need to rush out. Kayla recalls a time when they were on the run and he had her hide out in a bathroom. He lit a match to start the fire sprinklers, then dashed and jumped into the tub with her when they went off. Back to present, she’s laughing asking if he remembered that, saying they were soaked. We know he doesn’t, but he just smiles and repeats they were soaked. She remembers how he got the soap and kidding about being they were wet…and back to present again says water always did that to them. Steve’s still looking glum and she suggests he go for that drive and it might help and he thinks so too. Stephanie walks out of the bedroom saying she was trying to open an internet account for Steve (he wishes her luck) and said a picture was waiting for him (he’s surprised as no one knew he even had email…yeah..pretty amazing indeed)….and wow, there was a picture of him and Billie. Kayla grows agitated and having trouble breathing over what the picture might do. Steve wants to go get more info on the picture, but he and Stephanie call Lexie. Next we see Lexie listening to Kayla’s heart and not sure if Kayla needs an ambulance. We return to Lexie giving Kayla a shot and recommending they don’t talk about distressing topics in front of Kayla until she’s stronger. Stephanie tells her mom that dad’s here and nothing else matters. Later she and Steve step 10 feet from Kayla and talk. Stephanie’s confident that he and her mom will be together forever now that he has his memory back.

BACK AT THE BRADY’S
Bo returns home to see Hope picking up the vase and flowers. She tells him that Patrick was there after seeing the picture and when she told him it was a mistake and he should leave, flowers went flying. Bo asks if Patrick got physical with her and he gets furious saying she’s pregnant and he did that? Bo storms out as Hope calls out to him…as the previews roll:

ABBY TO NICK: You do realize that she’s using you, right?
NICK: Chelsea will look at Nick Fallon and realize what she’s been missing out on.

KATE TO CHELSEA: You’ve got to smooth out those rough edges or you’re going to spend the rest of your life alone.

EJ TO PATRICK: You’ve been running around leaving a wake of chaos all around you. There’s a price to be paid for that Patrick…as he backhands him.

HOPE (on the phone) to BO: I don’t know you anymore Brady. You better find yourself a good attorney.
BO: Hope, what is go….as the credits roll….

Summary: Mimi and Max find more info on the photograph…Willow works Shawn hard to keep him away from Belle…Victor calls in a specialist for Philip…Celeste gives the Salem PD a private Tarot card reading. (Way too much there to report it all…doing the best I can. It makes it difficult since I know absolutely NOTHING about Tarot cards).

Mimi and Max…track down the photographer and convince him to meet with them (they are supposedly going to give him a “TINA” award for his photo). Mimi finally admits it’s a lie (in fact, she explains that TINA means “There Is No Award”, lol). They tell him they are there for his help but he says forget it. He tells them to get lost…that is until Max offers a cash reward. They ask about the guy in the photo and he tells them that the Marine in the photo does have a prosthetic leg as well…and was skittish about being photographed…but his name was Andrew Spivey from Oklahoma. He has more photos and they go through them and find a better one and Mimi is sure that it is Philip. With the photo in hand, they leave.

At the Penthouse…Belle is there staring at the newspaper photo as Marlene comes in and asks her what’s wrong. She admits that she is worried about Philip and says if he gets killed it’s all her fault. Marlena reminds her that Philip is a grown man and responsible for his own actions. But Belle blames herself and says that she is taking all her frustrations out on Shawn…she wouldn’t even let him spend time with Claire on Thanksgiving. She says she has made a lot of bad decisions and seems to blame him for them. She says she the intention of doing what is best for Claire, but she was only fooling herself. She says that Claire misses Philip terribly and even notes that when she picks her up at Victors, all she keeps saying is “da-da” (Hmmm…wonder why that is?) Marlena tries to assure her that it’s not her fault and to stop being so hard on herself…children are resilient. But Belle’s mind is set that it is all her fault. She says she doesn’t even have a job and is living off her parents, even though she put so many demands on Shawn. Marlena tells her that her JOB is to be a mother to Claire. But Belle says she is depending on them and it’s wrong. But Marlena tells her that Claire can have both her parents in her life.

At Shawn’s Place…he and Willow have coffee as she tries to talk him into going back to bed…unless he wants her to hide in the closet…in case Belle comes by. But Shawn is sure that Belle wants nothing to do with him. He tells her that Belle wouldn’t even let him see Claire yesterday (Thanksgiving) and all he wants to do is be a good father to her. But Willow thinks there is more to it…and that he is still hung up on Belle, even though he denies it. Bo shows up unexpectedly as Willow prances around the room (it seems like to annoy Bo) and then goes to get dressed. Shawn tells Bo that he knows he doesn’t like Willow being there, so maybe he should call before coming over. Bo tells him that they were all disappointed that he didn’t come to dinner yesterday, but he says he had more important things to do than hang with the ‘Dysfunctional Brady Bunch’. Bo asks, like what?...hang with your hooker girlfriend? Shawn gets angry when Bo advises him to get rid of her and work things out with Belle. They argue over his job with EJ as well, before he drags Shawn down with him. Shawn has heard enough and tells Bo to leave. But before going, Bo tells him HE HAS BEEN WARNED! When Willow returns, she urges Shawn not to let Belle and his dad get him down. She urges him to spend his money on himself…go and buy that convertible and they will go on a road trip. (To me, it seems that she clearly has an agenda...there is more to Willow than meets the eye). But he gets a call from Belle asking if he wants to come over and see Claire. She says after that, they can talk. As he leaves, Willow warns him that Belle is just messing with his head, but he goes anyway.

Back at the Penthouse…Marlena tells Belle that she is proud of her for calling Shawn…they need to get along…they have a child together and that will never change. Belle says she screwed things up with Philip and doesn’t want to do the same with Shawn, he needs time with his daughter. She gets a call from Max and Mimi, telling her that they have info from the photographer and to meet them at the garage. She rushes off, not telling Marlena where she is going (says it’s better if Shawn doesn’t know). She tells her to let Shawn spend all the time he wants with Claire and rushes out. Shawn arrives and asks about Belle, but Marlena says she had to leave. He has a book of fairy tales for Claire, even though he says Belle doesn’t believe in them these days. Later, Marlena tells him that Belle feels bad because she feels so dependent on others and assures him that Belle does care about him still. She tells him that she is a mother…she can tell and that they have a very special relationship…and she thinks that someday they will find their way back to each other. But Shawn says he isn’t going to waste his time trying as he kisses Claire goodbye and leaves.

At the Garage…Belle meets with Mimi and Max and they fill her in on what they learned about ‘Andrew Spivey”. They are all sure now that it is Philip in the photos and Belle worries that he is going to get himself killed and it will all be her fault. Mimi says no, it’s her fault as well and suggests that they contact Victor for help. But Belle says no, she doesn’t trust him…this is something they have to do on their own. She leaves to go back to her mom’s and after she is gone, Max says that if she finds Philip and convinces him to come home, Shawn is not going to like it.

Belle goes back to the penthouse as Marlena asks where she went. She tells her what she learned from Max and Mimi and says that Philip has suffered enough…it is time for him to come home. Shawn returns to his apartment and informs Willow that Belle wasn’t there (which she is happy about). She tells him to stop letting Belle yank him around and tells him he should live for himself and starts listing all the things he should spend his money on…car, new clothes, etc. They start kissing and fall to the sofa.

At the Kiriakis Mansion…Dr. Weinstein arrives as Victor goes on and on about what a great doctor he is. He informs Victor that because of his research, he has very little time for surgery, especially if it is for vanity sake. Victor tells him this is his son and explains what has happened…that he is a Marine who lost his leg but was determined to serve and because of this, convinced his superiors to allow him to serve in Afganistan in military intelligence (no comment from me ;-). But his jeep was bombed and his face was disfigured…beyond recognition. Victor needs the doctor’s help and says that the only way to help him now is with a face transplant (sorry, that just sounds SO FUNNY). They go to see Philip as the doctor wants to examine him and begins to remove the bandages. Victor gets a call from the photographer, who informs him that he got a visit from Max Brady and Mimi Lockhart, asking questions. Victor says that no one can find out. The doctor removes the bandages and stares at Philip. Victor asks if he can help and he says he will try…but there are no guarantees…facial transplantation is still experimental and very expensive. Victor says that money is no object and whips out his check book. The doctor will put him on the transplant list, but Victor wants him at the top of the list and writes him a check “to help fund his research”. It must have been as substantial one, because the doctor says he will see what he can do to move him up the list. After he leaves, Victor goes back to Philip (back in Mummy mode now) and tells him that he promises he will get better…and they are going to take Claire away from Belle and Shawn…they don’t deserve her.

At the Carver House…Abe, Roman and Celeste meet, as she is clearly very edgy and frightened. She tells them she had a very disturbing dream about Alexandra and Theodore being in danger and is reluctant to help them. They finally convince her to help but she has one condition…they must promise to protect Lexie & Theo, whatever it takes. She takes the photos of the cards and notes that the vibrations are very strong…even though they are merely photos. She can only imagine the power that the actual cards have. After they assure her that they are in the same order they were in the envelopes, she starts to go through them. She lays out cards, telling them that they tell a story of calamaties, She turns over the “chariot”, noting that is EJ and it is a card of power and control. She says that he begins by destroying relationships…he isn’t finished and that there is more danger to come. They press her to be more specific, so she explains about the Tarot cards as she tries to explain what the cards represent, and how important it is what they are next to. She turns over another (don’t remember what she called it, perhaps the "Empress") and says it represents the loss of motherhood. They think it could represent Hope or even Belle or Mimi. (Celeste thinks it’s Belle). That card is accompanied by the “hanged man” which represents someone who has sacrificed and has experienced loss as well (Philip or Shawn?). Abe doesn’t think this is working, because it all sounds too general but she gets upset with him and says that she is even taking a risk by helping. Abe asks if EJ has threatened her. Later, Bo arrives and Celeste continues her reading. She lays out a series of cards and explains what they mean, saying that one represents Carrie & Lucas’s marriage and Austin’s proposal to Sami. But they were joined by the “3 of sands(?)” that represents heartbreak and loneliness. Then she turns over the “temperance” card, saying it stands for health and balance (which Abe says sounds good)…but Celeste says it is accompanied by the “5 pinnacles”, meaning illness and sacrifice (see?...this is way too deep for me, lol). They think that could be Steve and Kayla. Then she turns over the “tower” which means downfall and Abe suggests that represents John and Marlena’s plane going down. Since all these cards are pointing to things that have happened to them, they think that maybe someone was sending these cards to EJ as coded instructions of what to do. Celeste continues and says that there are many calamities to come…lies, betrayal, kidnapping, adultery, disappearances..many tears to be shed, but it is what the cards don’t tell her that frightens her the most. For, one card is missing…but she feels it is on its way and may already be here. It is the death card…and that is what the future holds. They think maybe that was Eve’s death, but she says no, it will be someone that they all care about. She gets very uncomfortable when they ask her who she thinks is sending EJ the cards. Roman says that Stefano is dead and Tony is in prison, who could it be. Abe asks her if EJ is a DiMera and she says he must be. They say they must stop him before it goes any further as Celeste stares off into space. (okay, she told them a lot, but I am sure there is a LOT she isn’t telling them). She tells them that she gave them this info, they can do what they wish with it, but to leave her out of it…she took a risk helping but she is finished and leaves. Abe tells Bo and Roman that this really doesn’t help them much…there is no way that the DA will bring a case against EJ based on an anonymous Tarot card reading. Bo says that leaves them with only one option. Bo says they have to call John…he is the only one who can help, after all he is a DiMera. They talk about how Marlena will be upset but they say they must put a stop to this before someone ends up dead. Freeze frame on the Tarot cards…as the previews show…

Kayla (looking at the photo): Who would have taken this and why would they have sent it to Steve?...(Steve): I’m going to find out…

Hope (to Bo, as she holds up the photo): Can you explain THIS?...as Bo gulps…

Marlena (to Kate): I know exactly what’s going on here…(Kate): What?...(Marlena): You are sleeping with EJ Wells aren’t you?...

John (to Roman and Abe): You have got to swear tome that NO ONE knows about this…especially Marlena…(Abe & Roman): Deal…(as the 3 of them bump fists)…and the credits roll…

THANK YOU to the new writing team for bringing holidays back to Salem. (Remember, this show is a day late in airing due to the preemption a week or two ago after the elections). Guess the Hortons’ aren’t celebrating this year as we find some of them at the pub with the Bradys, the Carvers celebrate and Celeste confirms who’s behind what’s going on; while Kate’s suite deals with female woes.

AT THE CARVERS
The Carvers count their blessings as they’re home with Theo on Thanksgiving morning. Abe sends Theo in to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in the other room before he explains the problems at the station due to the EJ Wells case to Lexie (he looks great in his orange sweater!). He tells Lexie he needs to talk to Celeste and about the tarot cards. Abe senses Celeste was too scared to reveal the cards meaning and Lexie agrees to talk to her mother about it. He leaves to help Roman hold down the fort at the station to give her time alone with Celeste. Celeste arrives and Lexie asks for her help explaining that Abe’s job is on the line. Celeste tells her no, just like she did to Abe, and goes to leave when Lexie brings Theo into it. Lexie urges Celeste to help. Celeste admits to Lexie she knows who she is and where she came from when Lexie knows the Dimeras are behind this. Abe overhears from the other side of the door. Abe walks in carrying his briefcase saying they have to talk. He tells her she can’t run away from the law or them. Celeste says the best way to be safe is keep their eyes closed and mouth shut. Celeste warns him to think about Lexie and Theo. Abe urges her to help fight back and she refuses. Theo walks out from the kitchen and Celeste picks him up, hating to leave. Lexie tells her to stay…they are family. Abe says family is the strongest power and Celeste agrees to stay.

KATES SUITE
Kate’s ticked that Lucas is spending the day with Sami and Will, while Billie looks at the positive side that Will is getting both his parents. Chelsea comes out of her room in a dress for dinner and Billie informs Kate that Bo invited Chelsea to spend Thanksgiving with the Bradys, but when Billie goes to call and thank Bo, Chelsea admits she was invited by Nick, not Bo. Billie can’t believe that Chelsea would crash the Brady’s party. Billie tells Chelsea her being there is wrong and it’s Bo and Hope’s first thanksgiving together since Zack died, but Chelsea feels she’s a Brady and it’s her right to be there. Nick arrives and while looking fine, blinking rapidly. When asked why, he tells Chelsea he got new contacts and literally trips when meeting Billie. Later, Kate and Billie eat dinner as Billie fills Kate in about Steve’s false memories and he still has feelings for her. Kate encourages Billie to take action on what she wants.

MAGGIE’S HOME
Abby and Maggie talk about Nick and Chelsea. Abby has Nick come out to show Aunt Maggie his new brown suit (and vest) before he dashes off to get Chelsea. Maggie congratulates Abby on a job well done.

THE BRADY PUB
Bo arrives first, bearing flowers for Ma. The pub is decorated to the max with a beautiful table set. Caroline credits Hope for the set up as next she and Stephanie arrive looking gorgeous. Stephanie is already counting her blessings for all she has to be thankful for. Bo worries that they might have caused more harm than good by supplying Steve with those memories, but Hope knows it saved Kayla’s life. She missed him the night before and he explains working on the EJ Wells case and didn’t want to push it by discussing the case when he got home. She grabs him and says she’ll push it, in bed with him later. She tells him Stephanie will be with her parents and she’s sure what she herself wants. He asks about “what’s his name” and she tells him that he’s out of her life forever. He kisses her and Frankie asks if that’s all he’s got (meaning the kiss) and to show more backbone. Bo obliges and pulls Hope into his arms and bends her down to kiss her when Chelsea and Nick arrive. She mutters softly to Nick that she’s glad he’s a doctor as she’s about to be sick. He tries to explain he’s not that kind of doctor, but she doesn’t care. She wishes Bo and Hope happy thanksgiving and although awkward, Bo hugs her and after she walks off with Nick, Hope assures Bo she’s ok. Nick advises Chelsea not to give reasons for people to hate her and when Abby offers them a donut (ROFLMAO, she’s taking over for Alice apparently), Chelsea refuses by saying she’d rather stab her eye out with a fork, while Nick accepts one. Chelsea takes Nick’s advice and thanks Ma and Pa for letting her stay. Caroline says she’s welcome and she and Pa walk away. Chelsea says “what a cow” and Abby explains why should she be nice to her, she’s always rude. Chelsea spits back they can’t all be little donut makers. Abby justifies that she’s grateful to be included as she misses her parents and little brother and walks away. Wise Nick tells Chelsea “way to win friends and influence enemies.” Chelsea says “they never give me a chance” and Nick tells her “THIS is your chance, don’t blow it.”

Max arrives with Mimi, explaining her family isn’t celebrating Thanksgiving this year (Mimi mumbles..or any year)…and Caroline greets her warmly with a hug saying she could never turn her away. Mimi apologizes to Bo and Hope for not telling them sooner that Claire was their granddaughter and Zack’s liver helped save her life..saying it might have helped…causing more of a damper on the festivities.

Bo and Max chat about the two surprises (Chelsea and Mimi). Max tells Bo that Mimi is just his friend as Bo warns him she’s also a Lockhart. Max approaches Nick saying he heard he’s the GO TO guy and asks for his help in getting the photographer who took the picture they think Philip was in to return their calls. Nick suggests lying as to who they are, saying they’re a big name publisher looking for war coverage photographers or something. Mimi said she’s off lying for a while and Max offers to do it for her, LOL. Chelsea takes a donut from Abby saying she had a bite of Nick’s and it was good. Abby accuses Chelsea’s influence is rubbing off on Nick and he says Chels (which she told him not to call her) taught him the end DOES justify the means.

Steve wheels Kayla in and everyone rushes to greet them, especially Stephanie who hugs Steve saying how happy they’re going to be as a family. Steve and Hope exchange morose glances at that.. Bo toasts Nick and thanks him for saving Kayla’s life. Nick appreciates that, but says he only provided the means, her family’s love was what saved her and quotes the Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry once said: Families are the compass that guide us through the inspiration to reach great heights and the comfort when we occasionally faulter.

He thanks them for letting him be a part of such a wonderful family being his parents are overseas this year and his first one away from them (being he’s Jessica HORTON’s son, it still surprises me he’s not celebrating with them). Chelsea goes to leave and he stops her. She cries she’s tried to be a part of this family for so long and he’s welcomed so quickly. He tells her she’s got to tell them how she feels and she goes to Hope and is happy Kayla’s okay and knows it’s her fault that Zack’s not there… when Steve interrupts, asking if he can talk to Hope (kinda rude IMO). Chelsea rushes out much to Nick’s dismay, but Abby stops him from going after her.

Steve and Hope chat about the situation outside the pub. She lets him know she doesn’t like being the go between and how much Kayla and Stephanie love him. He borrows her cell phone before she goes inside and calls Billie, asking to see her and explain the next morning. With Kate’s urging, she agrees. He says I MISS YOU and Stephanie had walked out to get him and over hears..asking who he misses. He lies and says her Uncle Jack, his brother.

They return inside and everyone is around the table. Frankie announces his move to Washington DC, but says he’ll keep in touch, Max toasts Frankie. (surprised Pop didn’t say grace) Everyone chats as Steve tells Hope that what he did was a temporary fix and it’s not forever.

Kayla tells them about a passage she read about how accepting people for who they are and being thankful for being there with them all. She feels truly blessed.

BACK TO KATE’S SUITE
Kate and Billie chat and Billie says she’s not doing a replay of her and Bo. She wants something that will last forever. Kate encourages her and bets on Billie to be the winner who takes all. Chelsea returns ranting about how rude Hope was and the pirate took her away before she could finish talking to her. Although she said Steve was by Kayla’s side all evening, they tell her he took time to call and is going to see Billie the next day. Chelsea blasts Billie how she blew not getting back together with Bo when she was in bed with him and ruined their whole family being together. Kate tells Chelsea to leave the room until she can hold her tongue and she does so. When Kate complains about Chelsea going off every time she doesn’t get her own way, Billie reminds her SHE was the one who taught Chelsea to go after what she wants. Chelsea goes into her room and looking at the picture on her cell phone of Bo and Hope in bed, says all she has to do is send that picture to Hope and Steve and they’ll know her parents belong together. She hits the enter key on her laptop and sighs…as the previews roll…

BELLE TO MARLENA: I have hurt Philip as badly as I could and all I do is take my anger out on Shawn.

SHAWN TO WILLOW: I don’t think Belle’s going to be stopping by anymore. I don’t think she wants anything more to do with me.

VICTOR overhears MAX TO MIMI: So, we’ll start making the calls and searching the internet to see what happened to Andrew Spivey, aka Philip Kiriakis.

BO to ROMAN and ABE (with a flash of Celeste): We’ve got to crack this thing before someone we love ends up dead.

Rather hard to keep track of the show today, as we jump around from place to place quite frequently. Bo warns Shawn, EJ makes a threat, Abe seeks help from Celeste, Belle tries to get verification from her friends, Nick invites Chelsea, Frankie tells his parents his plans, Hope delivers a message, Kate admits to EJ, and the Salem PD caves to EJ. Did the best I could......

THE GARAGE

Belle brings the newspaper photo of the departing Marines, asking Max to take a look, and is that not Philip in the back row. Max disagrees, tho admits it looks a little like him. They argue back and forth. Later, Shawn & Mimi are there, and all are arguing about whether it is really Philip in the picture. Shawn claims Philip ran off, leaving Claire, and with no word, and now everyone is worried about him. He went to rescue Philip once, and will not do it again. Belle reminds him Philip is his best friend, they argue and both leave, continuing to argue outside. She asks him to have some compassion for Philip, as they leave. Mimi has been eavesdropping (when is she not??) and goes back into the garage to ask Max to help her try and find Philip. She thinks it is her fault he left, and perhaps they could track down the photographer who took the picture.

THE KIRIAKIS MANSION

The mummy sits, as Victor comes in asking him why he is out of bed, and is he in pain. The man groans. Victor tells him not to worry, he will help him. Later, when the person is in bed, and looking at a picture of Claire, Victor says he is working on a plan to make his son’s dreams comes true. A nurse gives the man a pain shot and leaves the room. Victor promises to soon have him holding his little girl in his arms. (Hey, Victor, what about that baby that really IS Philip’s, that the surrogate is carrying??)

CHEZ ROUGE

Nick is helping Mimi, Abby & Chelsea with the decorations for Thanksgiving, fall leaves on the tables, etc. Maggie brings an envelope to Nick, saying it just arrived. Nick opens it to find an invitation from Shawn, Sr. to join them for Thanksgiving Dinner at the Brady house. They are so thankful he helped save Kayla’s life. Chelsea did not know about this, so Abby fills her in. Now Chelsea’s nose is way out of joint, since she is a Brady and was not invited, while Nick is actually a Horton. She whines a bit, but Maggie gives her a pep talk. Nick tries to talk some common sense to her, telling her she is 19, should have a job, and apt, and be concentrating on getting her life together, not trying to get her parents together. Chelsea whines some more, about losing her adoptive parents in the car crash, and wanting a family. Nick apologizes to her. Abby tells her to give Nick a break, so Chelsea asks Nick how to go about getting an invite. He says he will bring her as his guest! Chelsea is horrified at “crashing my dad’s party on the arm of a geek”, but accepts and tells him not to dress like a loser. Nick jokingly asks if that means he cannot wear his turkey costume. LOL Chelsea leaves, and Abby scolds Nick for inviting Chelsea, when she was clearly not wanted there. He still is intrigued by Chelsea, tho, and asks Abby for help in “un-geeking” him, so Chelsea will think of him as “hot”.

SHAWN’S APT

Thankfully, Willow is no where in sight, as Shawn is on the phone with a car dealer, asking about the down payment and promising to come take it for a test drive. His father arrives. Bo tries to warn Shawn about EJ, and the investigation, telling him he should quit his job. They argue, as Shawn refuses to quit. Bo’s phone rings, he says “damn it” when he checks it, and has to leave. He again tries to warn Shawn, who refuses to listen.

TV STATION

Kate comes in to find EJ ready to go on TV live, to blast “the scoundrels” in the Salem P.D. who who besmirching his good name. Kate is indignant that he did not check with her first before arranging this. He is determined to save his reputation, and tells her to stick around. After his broadcast (see below) he asks her if she is the one who ransacked his apt. Kate is hesitant, but EJ goes on about her having been engaged to John at one time, but talks about them being business partners, and much more…….ahem……Kate is reluctant, but finally admits to it. EJ tells her she took his ring….which was a fraternity ring. She says that it was a DiMera ring, but he says, no, not unless they belonged to the same fraternity. (Wouldn’t the fraternity initials be on the ring? Maybe not). She tells him that Stefano DiMera was a part of her life long ago, and she does not want to relive any of it again. EJ plays on her emotions, and refers to them being “close”.

THE PUB

Shawn, Sr. arrives with a huge turkey under each arm, telling Caroline he wanted to be sure they did not run out of turkey. They are so happy they are going to be having such a big family get together this year. Billie arrives, then Hope who is meeting her. Hope has a message from Steve, but Billie does not want to hear it. Hope tells her anyway, informing her that Steve doesn’t really remember Kayla. Billie insists she heard the things he was telling Kayla, but Hope lets her know that tho Steve remembers a little bit, most of it was stuff she & Bo had written down for him. That he was encouraging Kayla with what she wanted to hear, and did save her life. Billie is insistent that he will get more memories back, and she does not want to get in the way when he remembers completely. Hope assures her that Steve still has feelings for her, urges her to talk to Steve and be his friend. Billie is reluctant, but says she will think about it, land leaves. Meanwhile, Frankie has come in, and tells Shawn & Caroline about the great job offer he has gotten in D.C. and that he is going to take it. They do not want him to leave, but understand. They talks about him perhaps meeting someone, etc. etc. He tells them he will tell everyone else at Thanksgiving dinner, as Caroline reminds him he always has a home with them.

THE COP SHOP

Abe is showing Celeste the tarot cards, asking her to translate for him, as they are in Italian, and he wants to know what they mean. She has the cards laid out in front of her, but dances around giving Abe a direct answer, making various excuses as to what the cards might indicate. Roman calls Abe to come out and watch EJ on TV, accusing the Salem PD of harassment. His attorney is there, announcing a $40 million dollar lawsuit against the Salem PD, and 4 co-respondents: Commissioner Abe Carver, Commander Roman Brady, suspended police officer Bo Brady, and John Black. Now comes the furious assistant DA, wanting to see the file on EJ. She looks thru it, saying all this is circumstantial evidence, and heads are going to roll. Abe claims that is not all. She leaves. In walks EJ with his attorney, who announces they will play deal or no deal now. They will drop the law suit if the police drop their investigation, turn the case file over to them (huh?) and wants a public apology from Roman & Abe, admitting that EJ is not a suspect, and clearing his good name.

Abe goes back in his office, begging Celeste to give him SOMETHING. She spots EJ looking at them thru the window, and tells Abe, No, I cannot help you. Thus, Roman & Abe cave into EJ’s demands, and go onto live TV with their public apology.

Billie meets Chelsea later in a diner, telling her that Gramma Kate is having a catered turkey dinner at her suite and Chelsea should be there. Chelsea smirks, saying, she can’t come as her father invited her to the Brady Thanksgiving dinner, surprising Billie.

EJ escorts Celeste outside the police station, asking her what she told them. Nothing, she replies. Good, he says, keep your mouth shut. Remember, you’re a part of this family, too.

Kate arrives at the cop shop, angry at Roman for getting her into hot water with her business partner. The DA returns, threatening Abe & Roman again, if there is any more trouble. Freeze frame on the face of an angry Bo. And the previews roll……..

Lami fans will love this show as they admit their true feelings to each other, Hope has good news for Lexie, Tek hears YOU'RE FIRED..but not by the Donald; John and Bo get a new clue on EJ.

SAMI’S APARTMENT
The show starts with a fully clothed Sami with her legs wrapped around Lucas going at it hot and heavy. She stops the action, saying she needs an answer. He asks what the question was. Lucas says he knows what he wants, her…and to make love all night long. Sami starts to let her emotions take over, even unzipping Lucas’ jeans..but pulls herself away saying they have to talk, and fully dressed. They both are caught up in the moment, but Sami says they have to get a few thingsto get straight now. Lucas says he is “straight” and it’s painful. Sami chuckles . Lucas starts to take her denim shirt off and says he wants her and she stands firm saying she needs to know his feelings for her. They finally talk and share they both have deep feelings for each other, not just sexual ones and want to make another go of it. They both call themselves the biggest idiot in Salem for what’s happened in the past. Lucas starts touching her waist under her shirt and saying how soft her skin is when she tells him she’s glad he understands they can’t have sex now..they have to let their relationship build. He’s disappointed in hearing that. (Sami and Lucas lovers have to watch this scene to get the full impact…) They agree they can’t cheapen their relationship with casual sex and he goes to take a cold shower as she collapses on the couch holding herself smiling).

SHAWN’S APARTMENT
We find Shawn gazing at Claire’s picture when Willow returns home from shopping. She found the ideal housewarming present for him….a baby monitor. She figures Belle will be totally impressed seeing Shawn has one to monitor Claire when she’s sleeping and it’ll also serve as an early warning detection device should she be in the bedroom and someone walks in. If so, she’ll scoot down the fire escape and be the “invisible woman”. Later she asks if she can take a shower and he says okay, tho she doesn’t need permission to do so. She no sooner goes into the bedroom and shuts the door when another woman bangs on his door…it’s Hope. She tells him how proud she is of him and about Bo’s moving back in. Zack’s gone, but they’re still a family. Now that he has Claire, that’s more important than anything. Cue Willow to exit the bathroom talking as she’s wrapped only in a towel and one wrapped on her head as well. She slips into the bedroom and closes the door. Hope asks him how he considers this being responsible? Shawn says Willow’s only there until she finds her own place. Hope knows that won’t be anytime soon being she has a nice place to crash and a nice guy to live with. She asks if Belle knows about this and he says no, asking her to keep it to herself. She thought he had grown up and knows Belle wouldn’t want their beautiful little girl hanging around a hooker. He tells her he’s paying child support and got a new job, doesn’t he get credit for that? She tells him your duty is to your baby and her mother. He replies..just like YOUR duty is to your baby and Patrick Lockhart? Then why are you having dad move in with you? You’re living with one man and having another man’s baby. You don’t sound so responsible yourself mom. How does it feel to have someone else judge you? I think you should clean up your own mess and stay the hell out of mine. Hope lifts her eyebrow, grabs her coat and purse and leaves.

Willow apologizes for causing a problem…but Shawn rants about how he’s tired of having to hide everything he does…Willow living there, Belle’s long list of rules, not being able to visit Max at the garage as his ex wife works there, not telling anyone what he does for EJ, etc. He just wants his life back. Willow asks why doesn’t he then? She asks what does he dream of but never talk about as people would give him crap about it? He says a convertible with 8 cylinder 10.3 liter engine with 19” mags. She tells him to go for it and before she leaves to go to work, promises to call before coming home to make sure it’s clear. He promises to get batteries for the baby monitor after she leaves. He pulls out a drawer with an envelope underneath taped to it…(he’s a bit smarter than Patrick with a box in his drawer, haha) to look at the pile of big bills he’s got in it. .

JAMES BOND TRIO
Bo, John and Frankie talk softly at a restaurant table over the papers Frankie had prepared for them to get into EJ’s safe deposit box. The bank is on the outskirts of town, so they shouldn’t be recognized, but beware of security cameras. John said the wires to them will be cut before they even enter. Frankie just wants the guy who tried to kill his sister caught!

SALEM COP SHOP
Obviously needs an overhaul with tighter security. EJ Well strolls into Commissioner Abe Carvers office (any city with high rise penthouses with have more secure offices for their top brass) and empties a bag with the microphones and cameras he found in his apartment. Abe calmly points out there’s a procedure for complaints and to see the desk sergeant (he’s probably out getting more donuts). EJ flutters his long eyelashes at Commander Carver and EJ says he’s planning on suing their department. Abe flat out tells him the department doesn’t do that type of thing and EJ knows Bo isn’t above doing so anyway. EJ mentions John Black and after Abe states John’s not on the force, refers to him as a James Bond persona. Abe flicks EJ aside and turns to his computer, so EJ threatens to take the items to the DA. Abe merely smiles and says, “make my day…I’d pay to get you on the witness stand.” This does concern EJ and his face shows that. They challenge each other with who has more evidence than the other. Abe has EJ sit down and closes the door. He asks what he has on the DiMera family? EJ asks why he’d think he has anything to do with DiMeras, but Abe just smiles and tells EJ to go ahead to the DA to take him and the department to court…just be prepared to lose. An officer asks to speak privately with Abe, so Abe steps outside his office, leaving EJ alone. (uh, no…you ask EJ to leave) Naturally they step outside and EJ looks on Abe’s desk and finds the file about the safe deposit box . Apparently the cop told Abe about the call to Chez Rouge as that’s where we see him next. EJ probably took the file or is still there reading it, LOL.

CHEZ ROUGE
Lexie tells a drunken Tek to leave, she’s got a restraining order against him. (For being drunk, he explains his feelings about not understanding her change of attitude about him well). She reminds him her job meant a lot to her too and she lost it as well. He babbles on and comes toward her and she slaps him. The bartender calls for a cop. We return as Lexie tells Tek to leave or she will. He puts his arms out to her to stop her and babbles on when Abe arrives and tells him to go home and sleep it off. Tek loudly says why, so he can return to the station that Abe owns? He tells him to fire him, kill him, whatever. Tek’s got everyone’s attention as he babbles on, saying he’s got some info about Commander Carver and his wife…when Abe finally punches Tek in the face and he falls to the floor. The bartender helps him up when Abe tells him to put Tek in a cab and send him home. He kneels next to Tek and says he got his wish, he’s fired and to come in and clean out his desk the next day. Tek leaves applauding the captain and his fine work (apparently not knowing what title Abe is now). Abe offers to take Lexie home, but she says she’s okay. He says he wants to go back to the station and start paperwork on getting rid of Mr. Tek Kramer. She asks him not to have Tek arrested, they’re both over him and let it be.

Hope joins Lexie (who was waiting for her) . Lexie tells Hope what happened earlier and how she hasn’t found a job within a 20 mile radius. The word is out that Lexie Carver is an unethical doctor and cheated on her husband. Hope has good news. She found her a job. She asks Lexie to take care of Kayla when she’s released. Lexie doesn’t think the Brady’s would agree to that, but Hope said they’re happy about it and Kayla’s released tomorrow.

BANK
Abe and John are watching a security guard drill into the safe deposit box and as it’s opened up, Bo tells “Mr. Avery” they have the box as he calmly lifts it out and places it on the table. (Bo is wearing a suit and the biggest yellow tie I’ve ever seen…and John is dressed to be older, grayer and wearing glasses). Just as they go to open it, the bank woman tells them there’s a problem with the paperwork. They exchange a glance. The woman noticed a missing signature on the death certificate. John points out all the irregularities and lack of procedures being followed in the bank on his way in and threatens (nicely of course) to tell the head office about them unless she lets them do their job without having to take an extra hour running around to get that overseen missing signature. The woman finally agrees and John asks for a place to look at the box and she points the room out to him. They open the box to find a stack of envelopes from Italy. John kids he would have liked a gun or a written confession, LOL…Bo suggested Stephano DiMera’s brain..and John adlibs “or another part of him”. Each has got an Italian Tarot Card in it. The two they open are a Jester (Bo thought it was a Joker, LOL) and a High Priestess. John holds the cards as Bo asks if they have the time to go through them all tonight (bank is open late?) or take them with them. (uh, no CAMERA on you secret agents?) They realize EJ went to a hell of a lot of trouble to hide them. John pulls out his camera (aha, good man) as Bo lays out the cards.

BACK AT THE COP SHOP
John and Bo sit with Frankie and tell him what they found. AMAZING…not only had they fled the safe deposit box examining room and returned to the cop shop, but the lab has already made copies of the pictures of the cards! They fill Abe and Frankie in that the writing is in Italian and Abe calls for a translator (uh…if they entered the box illegally, should Abe even be involved in ANY of this? John can afford to get a translator) Aha, Abe called his mother in law who reads tarot cards for help (hooray..welcome back Celeste!!!)

AT THE BANK…
We see EJ being led into the safe deposit room by a teller and noticing the box missing. The teller goes to get the bank manager and says he can’t be EJ Wells, he’s dead. EJ rants and they lead him towards the room John and Bo were in. EJ pushes them aside and barrels in. All they find is the box with the stack of envelopes in it. EJ smoulders. He backs the manager out of the room as she tells him the cameras will have the video of the men who did this. He knows they’re smart enough to turn off the cameras first and closes the door on him and his box.
The credits roll…FRANKIE to Ma and Pop: I just hope I can find what the two of you h ave.
Pop: I do too son.

BO TO SHAWN: The authorities are closing in on Wells. I don’t want you to get caught in the crossfires. I think you should walk away.

BILLIE TO HOPE: So this has all been an act, a lie. How can he do this to Kayla?

CHELSEA to NICK: Try your best not to dress like a loser today, okay?
NICK: Oh, so I shouldn’t wear my turkey costume?

Sami and Lucas are drawn together; Salem's finest brainstorm; Kate's antenna picks up signals from Victor; and Belle and Willow both know how to yank Shawn's chain.


SAMI'S
Sami single handedly painted Will's room to make it nicer when he stays with her. Will reminds her that it's only a few days a week, but she's hoping to prove she's a new and improved mom, one he can look up to (ironic as he's so much taller than her now that she's looking up to him). He asks if she's trying to get dad to move back too. Sami confirms she and Lucas are trying hard to be good parents to him and he's what pulls them together. Will knows his parents love each other, that's how they keep coming back to each other. He takes off, promising to call her later. Kiss kiss, I love yous are exchanged as he takes off for school as she reminds him he forgot his books.

There's a knock at the door and thinking it's Will, she opens the door asking what he forgot now. It's EJ saying he forgot the champagne, but being it's so early, they'll just move on as he pulls her into a kiss. Sami tries to get rid of him, but he closes the door and while stroking her cheek, asks why she was distracting him before. Someone was obviously searching his apartment and he asks if she was helping her Uncle Bo or John Black? Sami nervously tries to avoid looking at him and later backs up nervously, denying any knowledge of what he's talking about. He continues to try and unbutton her shirt while insisting she does know and demands an answer. Lucas approaches the door and overhears what's going on and slams open the door and tells EJ to get his hands off of her as EJ has Sami gripped in his hands.

Lucas tells EJ to leave and Sami tells him never to come back. EJ does so after calling Sami a tease and she showed her true colors. Sami breaks down in Lucas' arms and tells him about what she did for Uncle Bo, kissing EJ to save someone's life. He tells her he's proud of her. She's nervous about living down the hall from EJ now and Lucas has a plan (holding the paint can she using (man, mine is never that clean after just painting, haha) ) telling her not to be worried. He knocks on EJ's door and walks in after EJ says come in. EJ's sitting at his computer and Lucas points out he's showing his “true colors” and pours the rest of the paint over EJ's head, saying if he goes near Sami again, the next can of paint will be over his coffin and leaves (hmm..guessing that outburst was captured on John's hidden camera). He leaves and EJ slams his fist on his computer. Sami joins Lucas in the hall and looks at him with admiring eyes after hearing what he did. She points out he's got paint on his shoes and softly offers to help him clean them up as they go back to her apartment. EJ opens his door with paint dripping down his head.

VICTOR'S
Lucas is wrapping up a meeting with Victor and is given an extra task, to pick up a VIP, a doctor, at the airport next week. Lucas asks why the chauffeur can't do it, but Victor explains it needs the utmost secrecy and to be glad he's trusting him. He's picking up a Dr. Hubert Weinstein. Lucas asks for some time off the next week to take Sami and Will skiing and Victor approves, saying he'll be tied up with Dr. Weinstein anyway. (would have been more secret to have the chauffeur pick him up, don't ya think?)

Kate comes rushing in with a newspaper called the San Diego Standard, saying she's sure Philip's picture is in a group of other serviceman. Victor disses the idea that Philip rejoined the service. He's checked with the Pentagon and knows for sure. She wants him to check again as Victor calmly tells her to accept the idea that Philip's possibly gone for good. Kate is wise to Victor and figures he knows more about where Philip is. He denies knowing anything or lying to Philip's mother. Belle and Claire are visiting everyone today and pop by. Victor is delighted to have his great granddaughter visit. Kate is surprised Victor shows so much interest in her and after leaving, wisely puts two and two together (at least that's what her expression appears to be).

Belle tells Victor she misses Philip's friendship and hates the way things ended and worried about him. Victor assures her that his son is strong and will be okay wherever he is and things will be right for him soon. He thanks her for bringing Claire for a few hours (Claire seems more comfortable in his arms than anyone elses, too cute) as he helps her wave bye bye to mommy. Outside Belle finds Kate waiting for her. She shows the newspaper to Belle. Belle agrees it looks like Philip and Kate says Victor didn't think so and knows he knows more than he's saying. We see Victor opening the secret door and telling Philip he's got a surprise for him. Look who's come to visit her daddy. Poor Claire looks at this mummy and smiles..apparently knowing it's daddy, LOL.

SHAWN'S VERY NICE APARTMENT
Willow is flopping around in her bra and panties listening to the music as Belle and Claire arrive. The door's unlocked, so she walks in commenting on how the door is unlocked and the radio is on. Willow runs to the closet unseen.

Shawn delivers another message to EJ. The note says that BO KNOWS ABOUT EVE AND THE COPS ARE CLOSING IN.

Shawn returns home to find Belle and Claire waiting for him and turns off the radio as Claire cries a bit. Belle shows him the professional Christmas pictures proofs she had taken of Claire. She asks why he left the door unlocked and music on and he tries to bluff her by saying he rushed out to deliver something and must have forgotten. Belle knows better and wants to know what's going on. The subject is changed to the pictures she brought. He pulls out an assortment of toys for Claire he bought for her to play with. He also gives Belle a roll of cash towards child support. She doesn't want to accept it, saying it's too much, but he insists. Willow rolls her eyes in the closet. She questions what he's doing to make so much, but he shines her off, citing his engine invention. She and Claire leave and he closes the door behind them when Willow busts out of the closet (now in a black dress) demanding him to “tell that bitch to call the next time she decides to pop by.”

(Timing is a little off here as Claire and Belle are already at Victor's when Shawn responds to Willow's outburst.) She warns him that after Belle realizes he's a hypocrit, he'll be out of her and Claire's life forever. She tells him she can't stand it there anymore and is going back to the Y. She packs a few things, saying she'll be back for the rest when no one is around and heads for the door. Shawn stops her (LET HER GO!) saying he doesn't want her to go. She breaks down crying that she really wanted a place to go home to and he says he'll tell Belle to call first and promises what happened today, won't happen again. Willow says okay and goes back to the bedroom.

COP SHOP
Bo thanks John for what he did to save Kayla. John tells him about the safe deposit box that Wells has. Abe doubts they'll get Judge Fitzpatrick to give them a warrant to open EJ's safe deposit box, so John proposes they do it without a warrant..adding his infamous little smirk. Abe refuses to break the law and “dismisses” Tek. Tek's not happy about that and takes off with Roman right behind him. John and Bo try to convince Abe to let them handle this on their own. Bo tries to get John to step aside, but John's got the Salem Brain this week and realizes Marlena hobbled right to Bo's front door when their plane landed and asked for his help. Bo doesn't lie and understands where Marlena's coming from..but John states he's going to do it with or without Bo. Tek comes right out and tells Abe to show some guts and fire him if that's what he wants. Abe returns to his office.

RESTAURANT
We find Tek knocking down drinks at the bar (Chez Rouge? Penthouse Grill?) and tells the bartender he's off duty. He sees Lexie walk in and sit at a table. He pays for his drink and asks Lexie if he can join her (very tipsy).

EJ'S APARTMENT
We find him freshly showered and in his suit as he cleans the paint off his desk items. He finds the camera on top of his desk (not hidden very well John!) in a pencil cup and holds it up warning whoever it is, they're going to be damn sorry!

BACK TO THE COP SHOP
When Abe returns to his office he overhears John say that until EJ Wells and Patrick Lockhart are in jail next to Tony, none of them are safe. Abe calmly says he agrees and asks to hear John's plan to get into EJ's safe deposit box. John tells Bo, Roman and Abe that he could pose as the executor of EJ's will and get into his safe deposit box. All he needs is a probated will and a valid death certificate. Abe asks if that means they have to kill EJ or wait for him to die, but Bo says as fun as that would be, he thinks this plan could work. Bo knows Frankie will help them. Abe's worried about Frankie could get disbarred if he got caught, but Bo knows that Frankie wants this to end and will help. Abe and Roman remind Bo and John if they get caught...and Bo and John finish that they're on their own and he and Abe knew nothing about it. They leave to find Frankie. Roman tells Abe “Well, let's hope it works” as Abe nods.

SHAWN TO HOPE: You're living with one man awhile you're having another man's baby. You need to clean up the mess in your own life and stay the hell out of mine.

SAMI (wrapped in a towel) to shirtless LUCAS: and what do you feel. Do you feel anything for me that doesn't involve the lower anatomy?

TEK TO ABE at the restaurant...FIRE me big man, fire me...
Abe punches Tek and he falls to the floor after stumbling over a table...

Wow, I was on vacation for a week and can’t believe how much went on in my absence to get caught up…this IS a new Salem!
Tomorrow we find John and Marlena flying back to Salem, Bo moving back home, Kayla up and about and our top cops at work..


JOHN AND MARLENA
Marlena walks into a room nervously and screams at what she sees….John is wearing a hospital gown and lying on a bed with a knife stuck in his heart. She awakens from her nightmare as we see her and John are flying home to Salem in first class section of a commercial airline. She tries to make him promise not to be involved in the investigation, but he can’t do so. She tells him to have Bo find another sidekick, but he explains to her about they’re not innocent bystanders anymore and their plane was sabatoged, he can’t let it go. He feels it was the same people that kidnapped her in New Jersey among other Salem happenings. She reminds him SHE’S his partner and he has a daughter too…she doesn’t want to lose him. He knows if he steps back they’ll keep trying anyway and will succeed. That Onyx ring means EJ is part of DiMera’s organization. John says he’s Tony’s ½ brother and know how he thinks. Marlena doesn’t want him stirring things up and saying that she’s finally beginning to feel like herself. He apologizes but is going to follow his instincts.

HOME SWEET HOME!!!
Bo returns home with suitcase in hand. Hope checks the mirror before answering the door. They both admit how strange it feels. He gives her a kiss on the cheek, telling her he appreciates her giving them another chance. They talk about how Stephanie and Kayla are doing so well and they might not be together if the other stuff hadn’t happened. Cute scene as he asks her where he should put his bag, not wanting to pressure her..he’ll sleep anywhere. She tells him the master bedroom. He asks if she’s sure and she repeats it’s his house too. She warns him she hasn’t changed any of her habits, so be forewarned and he warns her about the things he does that annoyed her will match hers. He smells coffee in the kitchen and asks if he can have some and she reminds him it’s his house too. He goes to get some as Stephanie barrels down the stairs (my, I think her release from the hospital was WAY overdue, LOL). She had already heard about her mom’s full recovery and can’t wait for them to be a family again, just like Bo and Hope are…as they exchange glances at each other. Bo tells Stephanie not to be too anxious for her parents to live together yet, but she rambles on about how Steve saved her mom’s life. She can’t understand why he’s so negative as he tells her they’ll need time to find their way back to each other. She asks Hope for the car keys so she can warm up the car saying how cold it is out there. Hope asks Bo why he’s so negative and he explains that Steve still has some feelings left for Billie.

Bo and Hope talk about Steve’s memory return, worried it might not be true. She doesn’t want to keep Stephanie waiting, but asks Bo if he’d like to have dinner with her later. He naturally replies you bet he would…as they kiss lightly staring into each others eyes teasingly before she leaves. A very happy Bo takes off his jacket and flops on the couch.

Marlena stops by. He asks about her foot and she tells him it’s just a sprain and he jokes about that’ll happen sometimes when you jump out of a plane, LOL. She said John’s at the station meeting with Roman and Abe. Bo’s anxious to join them then and she asks a favor. Can he convince John to get off the case, making it sound like it’s his idea? She doesn’t want to lose John and this is important to her. Bo says John’s a great investigator and they need him on this. Again, she tells Bo she doesn’t want to lose John and knows he’ll put up a good fight, but asks him to do what she asks. She’s not in the habit of asking for return favors, but she helped save his sister’s life, now help her keep John alive. He agrees to talking to Roman and Abe, but that’s as much as he can promise to do. She asks if he has his badge back yet and he said he’ll ask for it back and maybe they won’t feel so short handed and need John. She notices his suitcase and hugs him when he explains he’s moved back in.

SALEM U HOSPITAL
Kayla kisses Steve awake. He tries to get her back to bed, but she’s got more on her mind as she kisses him again. We return to him telling her she has to walk before she can run (must have gave her some of Stephanie’s meds, LOL) She tells Steve hearing him encouraging her to live is what brought her back. He reminds her how she helped him too. She admits she was close to letting him go before this happened. Now she doesn’t want to ever be apart from him. She wants to walk and talk and do a little jig as she starts to fall…he helps her back to the bed urging her to go slow. She calls him on changing the subject about being together again. She’s sorry if she scared him about suggesting they get together. He might have remembered , but it doesn’t mean he feels the same now. She reminds him how they use to talk about everything and asks him to do that now with her. As he’s about to talk Stephanie and Hope arrive at the window. Stephanie calls out to Kayla and Steve walks her to the window. Stephanie is bubbling with joy as she tells Kayla how Steve saved her from dying and Kayla looks up saying he’s her hero. Stephanie asks when Kayla’s getting out of there and coming home and the three of them will be together, right? Kayla reminds Stephanie they don’t have a “home” there and can’t rush Steve. Stephanie’s not discouraged. Kayla gets wobbly and he helps her back to bed saying she needs a nap. Stephanie rushes to call Caroline to suggest she prepare for the Johnson family. The doctor tells Hope that Steve can leave any time but that Kayla will need time for her lungs and organs to return to normal and will need oxygen therapy. She asks if they had a private nurse to oversee that, could she be released and he agrees to that. The doctor gets paged to ICU and Steve thanks Hope saying he couldn’t stand another week there. (Kayla’s back in bed sleeping) He admits not remembering everything, just a few things and doesn’t have the feelings that go along with them. He just wanted her to live and worries how long before everyone realizes he’s a liar. Steve says that Kayla senses what’s up and gave him an out. He senses Kayla is special to him and Hope is encouraged, saying he does have feelings for her. He admits waking up thinking about Billie though. He would have died for Kayla and it wouldn’t have mattered if he had. He and Kayla have gone through so much together but for some reason he can’t get this “Billie woman” out of his head. She tells him Billie refuses to come see him. He asks a favor of Hope, to go tell Billie what’s happening and what he just said. Stephanie returns after calling Caroline and Hope excuses herself to run some errands, looking at Steve so he knows she will see Billie for him.

COP SHOP
Abe orders Tek to investigate Wells solo, saying they don’t have anyone else who can do it right now. Tek refuses saying he’s a street cop, not a paper pusher and why doesn’t Abe just fire him as that’s what he wants to do. He yells at Abe that he’s just trying to punish him because of what happened with Lexie. Abe calmly tells him to leave Lexie out of this. Roman steps in and orders Tek out of Abe’s office and (go get him Tiger) lectures Tek that while this may be desk work and may be Abe’s way of showing who’s boss, that this IS a big case involving a cop killer and to just DO IT and stop thumping his chest (LOL…that’s what it did seem like too) Abe and Roman exchange glances through the window. Roman and Abe are frustrated as they can’t find the smoking gun. Later John joins them and Roman tells him Kayla’s doing great. John tells them this is personal now and he wants to be deputized and on the inside right now! Roman said it’s up to Abe and Abe says NO. He told Abe he can’t have him going off half cocked and reminds him what happened with the Alex North case. Abe refuses to let John on the case. We return to John munching one of the cop shop donuts (yum, a chocolate one to boot!) as he tells Abe he’s not going to sit around on his terrace waiting for him and Marlena to get bumped off, it’s not going to happen. They have two choices..deal him in or he’ll work on the outside. Tek brings in EJ’s bank statement and found a safe deposit box he’s got. John’s hoping something in there will tell why he’s trying to destroy their lives…as the previews roll…

BELLE’S holding Claire and asks Shawn “You want to tell me what the hell is really going on?” as she sees Willow in the doorway.

KATE TO VICTOR: What I’m implying is I think you know a little bit more about Philip’s whereabouts than you’re letting on…(cue the “mummy” overhearing nearby).

JOHN TO BO: “By the time we finish with EJ Wells he’s going to wish he were dead.”

EJ holding SAMI saying…”I don’t think I’m ready to leave, ok..you’re going to give me some answers.”
LUCAS rushes in the door “NO, get your damn hands off of her!”

Summary: The rush is on to get the serum to Kayla in time to save her life…Shawn becomes suspicious of Victor’s strange behavior, as we learn the identity of the “mummy” he is hiding…Marlena is surprised to learn the identity of her rescuer, as she and John have a sweet reunion…the cops learn that the plane was sabotaged…and Hope makes a promise to Bo. (Also nice to see Sami and Belle acting as sisters for once!)

At the Kiriakis Mansion…Belle returns to pick up Claire and as she and Victor talk, Sami comes rushing in, telling Belle about Marlena. Victor offers to send rescue crews but Sami tells him that they are already looking for her but having no luck. A frantic Sami goes on to say that there is 30 feet of snow on the ground, it’s dark and below zero…she fears the worst. She says if anything happens to her mom, she will kill John. Victor offers to keep Claire a while longer as they are going to the airport. After they leave, Victor tells Claire that she is lucky because she will get to spend more time with her new friend and takes her back to the secret room with the “mummy”.

At Shawn’s new apartment…he is working when Willow arrives, suitcase in hand. He stresses how important Claire is to him and she is offended that he doesn’t want her around. He tells her he is sorry for hurting her feelings, but she says if she isn’t good enough to be his girlfriend, then she isn’t going to be his whore. He tries to backtrack, but she says she will just put her stuff in the back closet and sleep on the sofa. And as soon as she has enough money, she is out of there. Belle calls and tells him about Marlena missing. She and Sami are going to the airport to get John and asks Shawn if he can pick up Claire at Victor’s. When he gets off the phone, he asks Willow not to be there when he gets back.

Shawn goes over to Victor’s to get Claire but Victor tells him she is taking a nap. He wants to go and get her anyway, but Victor is acting strange and reminds him that this is HIS house…HE will get her. He comes back with Claire as Shawn gathers her things and they leave. After they are gone, Victor goes to the secret room where the “mummy” is holding a picture of Claire. Victor tells him not to worry…she will be back. Later, Victor sits with “mummy” and says not to worry, Claire just needs more time to get used to him…then she will be his again…”and no one will ever take her away from you…PHILIP.

At the Airport…John comes rushing in where Bo is waiting for the serum. He grabs it and takes off for the hospital. John asks Abe and Roman if there is any word on Marlena and they tell him that the search team found her cell phone and parachute, but not her. They try to convince him that she will be okay. Abe has a report from the airport in Ottowa and they have learned that the plane he was flying was sabotaged. John is troubled to hear that…then Abe tells him that there’s more…a black leather glove was found in the engine compartment. John is sure that Wells and Lockhart are behind it and as soon as he finds Marlena, he is going after them. Later, Sami and Belle arrive as John promises them he will find Marlena. But Sami is having a fit, asking HOW he could have come home without her. Roman tries to calm her down as she is asking why John even let her go along and WHY did he let her jump from the plane? John says she had her mind made up and was determined and he couldn’t stop her…just like Sami. After Sami calms down somewhat, she tells her dad that she feels bad because she and Marlena had words and she was mean to her mom. Roman tells her there is a lesson to be learned…be careful how you treat people…they could be taken away at any moment. Sami promises she is going to be a better daughter and Roman hugs her. John is beating himself up over all of it and says he shouldn’t have put off the wedding. Abe gets off the phone and tells them that Bo made it to the hospital…and that he just got a call…Marlena has been found and they will NEVER believe who has her (see below).

Belle and Sami go by Shawn’s to pick up Claire and tells him about Marlena being found. He also gives them an update on Kayla. They are leaving to go set up a “thank you” party for them at the Penthouse Grill. Belle asks if everything went okay and Shawn tells her that Victor was acting weird and wouldn’t let him go and get Claire. He says it was like he didn’t want him to see where she was. He warns Belle to keep an eye on him. After Sami and Belle leave, Willow returns as Shawn is worried if Belle saw her. (She says she hid at the end of the hall). She asks if she can take a shower…or should she just grab a bar of soap and stand under the rain gutter?

Marlena…wakes up in a cabin and is startled that she doesn’t know where she is. Looking out the window, she sees a hooded figure with an axe. She tries the phone but it is dead. The figure heads inside and she grabs the fire poker and waits with that deer-in-the-headlights look. The stranger approaches, axe in hand, as she yells for him to stay away and tells him to drop the axe. She orders him to remove the hood and is stunned to see Smokey Robinson standing before her. He asks who was she expecting?...Neil Diamond? (LOL). She stammers around, telling him that she is a huge fan and he helps her to the sofa as she explains how she ended up in the woods. She apologizes for overreacting as he explains that the phone is out because of the storm, he had an axe because he was chopping firewood and the coat and hood?...well, baby, it’s cold outside! She says that John must be worried sick and asks if she can borrow his cell phone, but he says no signal. He goes to fix her something to eat as she turns and says UNBELIEVABLE! Later, he is wrapping her ankle as she asks why he is there and he explains he has been coming there for years and how it is great for writing or rehearsing. She happens to remember that he is going to be honored at the Kennedy Center next month and congratulates him. He finishes her wrap and then signs it for her. He tells her that he has a PDA that operates off radio band and they may be able to get word out on that, so he will try to send a message. She tells him to be sure to notify Abe Carver at the Salem PD. She hopes that John got the serum back in time.

Later, she is dozing on the sofa and calls out to Smokey, but looks up and instead, there is John. She jumps up and they hug. He tells her they got her message and he got there ASAP…he even ripped a page out of her book and jumped. She asks about Kayla and he says so far so good. Smokey goes over to the piano and plays as John asks Marlena to dance. She says she can’t…her ankle. But he tells her not to worry, it will never touch the ground as he scoops her up and dances as Smokey plays and sings ‘I Love Your Face’ (a must-see for J&M fans) as the song ends with a kiss.

At the Hospital…Hope, Frankie and Stephanie watch through the glass as Kayla struggles for each breath. Max and Mimi arrive as well as they all talk about how great Steve has been to Kayla’s family. Steve encourages her to hang on as she mumbles about being so tired. He tries to keep her talking and reminds her about their wedding and the scripture that was read (from Corinthians). She tries to sleep, but he continues to try and keep her awake so he starts reciting it to her and she joins in. Her head drops and the machines start going crazy as he yells KAYLA!...and for the nurses. PopShawn and Caroline also arrive about this time. The doctor checks and says she has no pulse and he is calling it. He says time of death is 19:43…but Steve is freaking out, crying NO, NO and holds her close. He looks over at Stephanie through the glass and both have tears rolling down their cheeks. Bo rushes in with the serum, but a frantic Caroline tells him it’s too late…Kayla is gone. Steve refuses to give up and grabs Kayla and kisses her. We see a series of old flashbacks of them kissing, and ending with their wedding vows. Her eyes flutter open and the doctor says she’s back as everyone celebrates. Steve whispers “welcome back” as Bo assures Stephanie that her mom will be okay…Steve saved her life and is keeping her alive. Hope hugs Bo and tells him that she meant it when she told him that she wanted him to come home. Bo asks what are they going to do about Lockhart? Max and Mimi talk as she says she wishes she were still a Brady. She envies the love between Steve and Kayla and hopes for that as well someday. Max assures her that she is a terrific person and thanks her for everything she has done for him.

Hope tells Bo that she told Patrick about Bo moving home and how he reacted. She tells him that he may be the baby’s father, but THEY (she and Bo) will be the parents as Bo smiles a huge smile. She slows Bo down just a bit, telling him that Patrick will still be involved in the baby’s life…just not HERS. But one condition…Bo is NOT to fight with Patrick anymore. She says IF he is involved in all this, as Bo says…then he is dangerous and she can’t risk losing him again. Abe and Roman arrive, telling everyone that Marlena is safe and John is with her. Bo tells them that the serum seems to be working as well. Abe pulls Bo aside and tells him about the glove being found in the engine compartment of the plane. He says they are determined to put a stop to this and wants Bo to be in on it. Bo says he can count on it. Dr. Myer tells Steve that Kayla is doing better and she asks him not to leave. He promises to stay with her. The doctor tells him that they don’t think there is any permanent damage. He tells him that what he did for her was just short of a miracle. The medicine helped, but she needs him as well. He goes over to her side and whispers “looks like you are stuck with me, Sweetness”…as the previews show…

Tek (to John, Abe and Roman): I was going through EJ Wells’ bank statements and found this…(John): It’ll not only tell us who he is but why the hell he wants to destroy our lives…

Hope (to Bo): Possibly Steve and Kayla wouldn’t be together right now…(Bo): It’s a turning point for us as well…

Kayla (to Steve): Now that you remember, I don’t want us to ever be apart again…

John (to Marlena): You and I aren’t innocent bystanders anymore…Now this has become personal and I am NOT going to walk away from it…

John & Marlena begin their winter adventure, while Chelsea has a revealing dinner with her mom, Stephanie gets released to go home with Bo & Hope & Steve continues to try and keep Kayla alive.

THE RESTAURANT

Am not sure if this is Chez Rouge or the Penthouse Grill, tho think it may be the latter. Billie & Chelsea are having dinner, something they have not done in quite a while. Chelsea happily lets her mother know that she saw her in bed with Bo, smirking as she comments about her mom getting her dad into her bed. Billie emphatically lets Chelsea know that nothing happened, no sex, that they were just comforting each other. Chelsea won’t accept that answer, but does not tell her mom about the picture she took. Patrick comes up to them (now HOW does he know where they are having dinner….or even that they ARE having dinner, lol). He has money missing, and Chelsea rightly guesses he thinks it was her that took it. She denies it, then gives him a hard time about not checking up more on Hope, leaving her to be with Bo. She leaves, and then Patrick takes off, too. He calls Hope, leaving a message on her cell. Of course, Chelsea is hiding behind a post, listening, with that cat that swallowed the canary look on her face. Now Bo arrives, telling Billie that Steve wants to see her, but Billie says no, she will not go, but to tell Steve she wishes him and Kayla all the best. Now Chelsea comes back, and tells them both about Marlena. (see below)

THE HOSPITAL

Bo & Hope have brought some clothes for Stephanie to wear home, as she is being discharged. She does not want to leave because her parents are still there. Hope invites her to stay with her, but Stephanie wants to be at the hospital for her mom. Bo promises to come by in the morning and pick her up and bring her back. Stephanie is surprised Bo isn’t coming home with them, and is emphatic that Bo is her uncle, and she wants to be with him. Bo explains that he & Hope are not living together. The doctor comes in, so Bo & Hope leave the room. Outside in the hall, Hope asks Bo to move back in with her, claiming it is for Stephanie. Stephanie thanks Hope for taking her in, then goes into the bathroom to get the rest of her things. Now Patrick arrives, surprising Hope. She tells him she already saw him, and told him she was having dinner with Bo. He pesters her, so she tells him about Bo moving in. Now Patrick gets on her case, protesting his innocence. He argues with her, badgers her about what more Bo has on him. Hope finally tells him about Bo finding his I.D. number on Eve Michaels’ bank statement. They argue even more, with Hope telling him she doesn’t trust him, and cannot see him any more. She tells him they are over, and to leave.

Patch is laying on his bed, playing the harmonica! (so o.k. I have no idea where he got it, but boy, is it good to hear our guy playing it again!) A groggy Kayla turns over, murmuring “put your lips to it and blow”. Steve gets up and goes over to her, and she tells him that is what he told her when she asked him once, how he learned to play, and he had said he taught himself. She asks if he remembers that. Flashback to that time….black & white, both look a bit grubby. Don’t care, love it. LOL. He tells her he remembers some, but not as much as she thinks.

The doctor arrives outside, and tells Steve his latest tests have come thru and he is completely clear of the biotoxins. He urges Steve to leave, but he refuses, he won’t leave Kayla, she could die. The doctor tells him he could become reinfected himself, and could die, and this time the meds he got before would not work for him. Steve insists he will not leave Kayla. The doctor leaves, and Bo arrives, telling Steve that Stephanie has been released and is coming home with him & Hope. Steve asks Bo to get hold of Billie and ask her to come see him, so he can try and make her understand. Bo says o.k. and leaves. Kayla begins to stir again, so Steve climbs in bed with her, holding Kayla as he tells her that the medicine is coming and she should hold on. She asks him if he remembers Feb. 19^th, and we see another flashback…..of Kayla giving birth to Stephanie in the hospital. (Steve seemed to remember both of times shown in the flashbacks). He tells Kayla he remembers. He says something about Scout’s Honor, and says he sounds like a Girl Scout. She murmurs that she taught him all about the Girl Scouts, reminding him of the time they were lost in the woods, and she built a shelter, even tho he did not think she could. He tells her she is going to beat this thing, Scout’s Honor. The doctor arrives, telling him that John is on the way with the meds, and he has to try and get Kayla to hold on for a couple more hours.

ON THE PLANE

John is stll calling MayDay as the plane continues to shake, rattle and roll. John says there is too much weight and now they are going down. Marlena insists someone has to jump, and they go back and forth about what would happen if he jumped, she jumped, both stayed, etc. She inisists she has to jump. He says no, that she could be landing in Lake Michigan, or they could crash in Lake Michigan. (O.K. a timeout here….If I remember right, Ottawa is in Ontario, and is the capitol of Canada. It is located not too far from the U.S. border on the other side of nearly all the Great Lakes. And I think one has to not only fly over Lake Michigan, but Lake Huron as well. I think they would have to be flying over the southern end of the Lake. If they already saw mountains, and are still crossing Lake Michigan, I really do not know where the mountains came in. LOL..end of comment) Marlena tells John that she has a GPS system on her cell phone and that he could mark the coordinates where she jumps, and then track her so she could be rescued. John refuses, and both declare their love as the plane continues to shake. They declare their love for each other, kiss……and Marlena jumps out, with John yelling No.

Later, John is on the ground, in an office, as the meds arrive. He is on the phone, urging folks to find Marlena. A man tells him the meds have to be kept cold, John nods. Off the phone now, he takes the meds and leaves. Meanwhile, Marlena is in the very snowy woods, she falls, having sprained her ankle. She realizes she lost her phone, probably where she landed, and tells herself she must keep moving. (HUH?). She is lying in the snow, turns over to see a man approaching. He wears a heavy parka. She gasps and passes out, as he comes up to her, and sets his axe down along side her. And the previews show….

Hope: I meant it when I said I wanted you to come home
Bo: What’re you gonna do about Lockhart?

Sami to John: How could you put her in danger again. How dare you come home without her again.

Marlena: Drop the hood – I want to get a look at you. As the man does so, she says….It’s you!

Kayla: I will always love you She seems to stop breathing. Steve yells…..Kayla!

At the Kiriakis Mansion…Belle takes Claire by to see Victor and asks if he has heard anything from Philip, but he tells her no. He reaches for Claire, but she tells him before he can spend time with her, she has some ground rules. She says that when it comes to Claire, SHE calls the shots…she can’t stay overnight and must stay on a regular schedule. She knows that Victor will spoil her but not to overdo it. She says it’s okay to let her ride on a merry-go-round, but NOT to buy her the entire carrousel. And she adds…he is not to leave Salem with her. Victor agrees to everything and just grateful to spend time with her, noting that he missed out on Isabella and Bo’s childhoods and most of Philip’s. As Belle leaves, she asks Victor to never let Claire forget Philip. After she is gone, Victor says not to worry…she will NEVER forget him. Later, he is playing with her, reminding her that she is a Kiriakis and one day she will see how important family is. He says that he has a big surprise for her and it starts today. He wants her to meet someone, telling her she will be surprised…but is sure that she will like it. He takes her to a room, telling her that her surprise is inside and she must tell no one…especially mommy. He takes her inside telling her to say hello to her surprise as we see someone bandaged from head to toe…sitting in a wheelchair.

At Shawn’s New Apartment…Shawn shows Willow around and tells her that Belle is coming over later to check it out. Willow takes the hint that he doesn’t want her there when Belle comes and is offended. She gets upset and he tells her not to make him choose between her and Claire. But Willow thinks it’s all about Belle. He says the need time to work things out with Belle (in regards to Claire) but she gets angry and storms out. She left her bag, so he hides it in the cabinet when Belle gets there. Belle is impressed with the place and asks how he can afford it…he tells her EJ pays well. She tells him that Claire is at Victor’s. But before they can talk, Patrick calls and wants Shawn to come to the hospital and pick something up to deliver to EJ. He asks her to stay there and wait for him to get back. After he is gone, Belle is looking around the place and finds Willow’s bag in the cabinet. Willow comes back and they exchange insults at the door before Willow snatches her bag from her. They argue as Belle refers to Willow as Shawn’s “dirty little secret”. Willow says she is not ashamed of it so Belle asks her if that’s why Shawn didn’t mentioned that Willow had been there. Willow says the only difference in them is that she doesn’t have a rich family to bail her out. Belle says that she would never stoop to selling her body and Willow says she can’t say that…she has never been there before. They start yelling at each other and Belle says that as long as she is staying there with Shawn…Claire will NOT be…just as he walks in, asking what is going on. Willow tells Belle not to worry…they won’t be living together or doing ANYTHING together and storms out. Belle tells Shawn that Willow is unstable and she doesn’t want her anywhere near Claire.

At the Hospital…the mystery guy watches as the Brady’s hang around the waiting area for news on Kayla. He takes off as Patrick walks up, who watches as John and Marlena get ready to go. Caroline is so grateful to them and Bo tells John that the storm has worsened and doesn’t think they will make it. Hope and Stephanie tell Steve to just keep Kayla hanging on. Caroline says that they may be running out of time and they are so close to saving her, they can’t give up. John has another plan and explains that he has a friend in Ogden who has a private plane and they can take off from a private strip. He wants Marlena to stay there but she is having none of that and insists on going with him. John assures them all it will work out and tries to talk Marlena out of going, but she won’t back down. Bo tells him that he will keep an eye on Wells and Lockhart while he is gone. John and Marlena rush out as Bo catches a glimpse of Patrick lurking around in the hall. He goes to talk to Steve, who tells him that he will do everything to save Kayla, but wants Bo to do him a favor…and talks about everyone standing around staring at him through the window. Bo agrees to clear the peanut gallery for him to ease the pressure. He talks Caroline into leaving, so she says she is going to the pub to fix dinner and for everyone to come over there and eat. He also promises Steve to get Stephanie back to her room (and WHY is she still in the hospital?) Hope runs into Patrick and asks why he is still there and he says he was worried about her and the baby. She assures him they are ok and tells him that she is going to the pub to eat…with Bo. He seems to be fishing around for an invitation, but never gets one. Shawn arrives as Patrick prepares a note for him to take to EJ it reads: “John Black flying private plane to Ottowa – Time to take him DOWN?” He stuffs it into an envelope and gives it to Shawn to deliver. Steve is sitting by Kayla, and calls her sweetness. He says she does seem sweet, but he doesn’t know for sure. He says he is what is keeping her alive and worries about what will happen when she wakes up. There is a knock on the glass and he looks over and the mystery guy is there. As Steve starts over, the guy begins to use sign language. You can see recognition in Steve’s eyes and he begins to sign back and says BENJI…I remember. Steve asks why he is there and he explains that he read about him in the paper and couldn’t believe it. He says he heard that Steve couldn’t remember and Steve smiles saying “I remember YOU Benji-monkey”, getting a smile. He asks about Kayla, saying that they were so good to him. Benji tells him to have faith and that their love was the kind to last a lifetime…he knows because he was a part of it. He talks about one special Christmas they had together as Steve has a flashback to that time of the three of them together. He turns toward Kayla’s bed and says “I remember”. In the hallway, Patrick meets up with Dr. Bader. She is wanting her money but he tells her he is having a cash flow problem. She demands her money soon or she will tell Hope the truth when she has her amnio. He assures her that she will get paid. She tells him she didn’t want to get messed up in this, but he had better follow through or he will go down with her. Benji tells Steve that he has to go but to tell Kayla how much she means to him. After he leaves, Steve goes back to her side and holds her hand, telling her he remembered and describes the memory like watching a movie…as Stephanie watches from the window. Kayla wakes up, mumbling to him. He tells her that Benji was there and he recognized him and they signed to each other. He tells her to rest and save her strength. She tells him that HE is her strength. She says that if he promises to stay…so will she, and drifts back off. Steve sees Stephanie at the window and goes to her. She thanks him for giving mom hope and a reason to live. She says that John and Marlena will be back soon with the antidote and nothing will stop them.

At the Pub…Hope and Bo talk about good times with Kayla, sure that she will recover and Bo thanks Hope for her support. She tell him that Patrick said Bo was still trying to put him in jail…is that true? By his non-response, she sees that it is. Bo says that he didn’t tell her but they do have new evidence but he doesn’t want to go into it. But she insists so he tells her about Patrick’s id number written on one of Eve’s deposit slips. Hope isn’t so convinced and says that there may be a logical explanation, but Bo tells her that John and Roman are with him on this and he fears for her safety. If he is wrong, then he is a fool – AGAIN – but if he is right, she and her baby could be in danger. Bo tells her he didn’t tell her because they are still gathering evidence. She says that she didn’t want to listen to him but Bo was telling her for months that Patrick was dangerous. She takes his hand and thanks him for confiding in her…she has a bad feeling that something bad will happen.

Da Plane…Da Plane…John and Marlena are on the plane ready to take off as he tries one more time to talk her out of going. He gives her a hard time for practically tricking him into this mission instead of being in Salem with the threat of a DiMera. She says she would do anything to keep him safe. With a kiss for luck, they are on their way. The flight is rough as they bounce around as they talk about the ring and how frightened she was to see it. She could tell that it shook him as well. She fears that something go wrong and fears for his safety (is this foreshadowing?) She says she doesn’t want to lose him again and he says she won’t…when they get back to Salem, he is going to tell Bo he is bowing out of it. As they kiss, we see the oil pressure light blinking. The plane begins to pitch and sputter and he tells her they are flying into the mouth of the storm…hang on to her seat. The instrument panel begins to go wild as John tells her to brace herself…they are going down…as he is radioing “mayday…mayday”…and the previews show…

Patrick (to Hope): You shouldn’t do this by yourself. (Hope): I’m not…I have asked Bo to move back in with me…

Billie (to Chelsea): Bo and I did NOT have sex…and a lot of people would get hurt if you went around telling people that we did…(Chelsea): Mom, a lot of people ARE going to get hurt…

Dr. Myers (to Steve): You are free to go Mr. Johnson…(Steve): If I leave, Kayla could die…(Dr. Myers): If you stay YOU could die…

Summary: Patrick accuses Bonnie of taking his money…Sami unknowingly helps Kate get out of a tight spot…The Brady clan is gathered around Kayla at the hospital…as Nick has an idea that may save her.

At the Lockharts…Patrick is tearing the place up looking for his money, when Mimi comes in asking what’s he doing. She swears she didn’t take his money and the only other person that could have is Bonnie. She is outside on the phone haggling with her accountant. It seems she owes a lot of money for payroll taxes and doesn’t have it. But, she tells him, things are about to change…she could be in bed soon with a Kiriakis (I sure hope she doesn’t mean that LITERALLY). Patrick can’t believe that his mother would steal from him, but Mimi reminds him that she did steal from her and bought lottery tickets. Bonnie goes in as Patrick accuses her of taking his money and wants it back. She denies taking it and Mimi is totally insulted that Bonnie insinuated that SHE took it. Then Bonnie tries to shift suspicion to Chelsea and Billie (I guess they are still living there). She goes to the phone to call Abe, saying the police can investigate it. But Patrick panics and yanks the phone away from her, saying he sure doesn’t want Bo Brady there. They hear a car pull up outside and Mimi looks out, saying that it is Shawn. Patrick rushes out, and then we see him with an envelope (we never see Shawn). He opens it to find a not that reads, “Get info on John Black. Find out how he and Bo Brady know…ASAP” and he leaves. Back inside, Mimi worries about Patrick and thinks that his money was stolen money and now that Bonnie took it, she is in just as much trouble as Patrick. Bonnie tells her to calm down, she has been watching too much Law and Order but Mimi can tell Bonnie is nervous about it too (since she is smoking). Bonnie declares that she didn’t take the money but Mimi isn’t buying it…she is sure she did. Bonnie puffs as Mimi talks about how bad it is. Bonnie says she has to get to work and grabs her things and leaves, saying she has enough to worry about.

At EJ’s Apartment…Kate is rummaging around in his bedroom when she hears him in the other room. Bo and John see all this and say they have to do something to help her. So Bo calls Sami and asks her if she will go over and distract EJ (he never mentions that it is to save Kate’s butt). He begs her, telling her it is a matter of life and death. She goes over and asks to come in but he tells her it is a bad time. But she barges on in and he asks if she is wanting to give them another chance. She plays coy and says maybe. She explains that she has been having a rough month but he reminds her how she tossed him aside for Lucas and Will, even though he has been her friend and been there for her time and time again. But Sami says she can’t cut Lucas out of her life, he is Will’s father and they have to get along for Will’s sake. (Kate is listening to all this). She says that she and Lucas are just friends and was hoping that maybe she and EJ could try again. He tells her no, but she kisses him and changes his mind. LOL as Bo is watching and says “woah, Sami…nice work kid” (LOL). As Sami and EJ canoodle, John is at the window trying to coax Kate out onto the fire escape. EJ tells Sami that was quite a kiss, but she says he is probably used to women throwing themselves at him…like Kate. He tries to explain, but she says she doesn’t even want to think about him and Kate. He tries to take her to the bedroom, but she thinks they should slow down. Besides, she has to go but will call him soon. She thanks him for being so understanding and leaves (she looks like she is about to throw up as she goes out the door, lol). In the bedroom, Kate is reluctant to crawl out onto the fire escape, so John practically yanks her out. In the process, she knocks something over and EJ hears it. He goes to investigate but they are already gone. Back in the van, John tells Kate she owes Sami for saving her, then talks about what a risk Kate was taking. She tells them she didn’t find anything but this…and holds up a ring. John is taken aback by it…it’s Stefano’s…or one just like it. He and Bo examine it, and are sure that it is a DiMera ring. Bo says it all makes sense that he is involved with Patrick, since he was on the DiMera payroll. Kate asks John what he wants her to do now and he says nothing in particular…just keep her eyes and ears open. They warn her to be careful. Roman calls Bo and tells him to get over to the hospital…Kayla has taken a turn for the worse. Roman tells him he will be there soon, he has a stop to make on the way. That stop is to see Sami and thank her. She wants to know what it was all about but he only tells her that there was someone searching EJ’s apartment and they needed her help to get them out (doesn’t tell her it was Kate though). He hugs her, telling her he is proud of her, which gets a smile out of Sami. He tells her about Kayla and asks her to go with him. She is a bit reluctant, but he convinces her.

EJ calls Shawn to check up on him then heads over to Sami’s. Will walks up asking why he is there. He informs EJ that Sami wants nothing to do with him and he should stay away from his mom. EJ tells him that Sami came over and told him that she IS interested in him and there is nothing that Will or “his little father” can do about it and saunters off as Will stews.

Later, Kate is at the Penthouse Grill having a drink when EJ comes in (she had called him to meet her). He tells her about Sami coming by and she asks him about his meeting with John. He tells her that he thinks the meeting was only to get him out of the apartment so someone could search it. She thinks he should call the police and offers to do it for him, but he takes her phone away and tells her he will handle it. He wants a favor from her…to keep her eye on John Black and see what he is up to. EJ leaves, telling her he will see her later as Kate purrs.

At the Hospital…Steve sits by Kayla begging her to come back to them as the Brady clan watches from the peanut gallery (through the glass). Caroline, PopShawn, Roman, Hope and Marlena are among the spectators as the doctor tells them that she is failing fast. But Caroline refuses to give up. Joshua comes in, telling them that he may have an answer that could save Kayla’s life. Most of them have no idea who he is, so he tells them. Hope rushes to him and hugs him saying she hasn’t seen him since he was 8 or 9 years old. Then Caroline welcomes him as well. He tells them that he knows someone (a former professor) who is in research specializing in developing hypoallergenic drugs. He thinks he may be able to help, so he goes to call him. Hope fills Steve in and he says Kayla could use a miracle. She tells him that she talked with Billie and she told her that he remembered and she is thrilled that she and Bo could help. Roman thanks Marlena for being there and she tells him that the Bradys will always be family to her. He asks about her and John and she says there is just so much going on right now. He advises her not to wait too long. Later, Steve has explained to Hope and she apologizes for jumping to the wrong conclusion, but he admits he is committed to Kayla getting well. She asks does he remember anything at all…and as they talk, a guy walks by and looks at Steve strangely. There seems to be a slight bit of recognition on Steve’s face as well, but he shrugs it off. Hope asks if he is okay (I am assuming that this will turn out to be Benji?)

John arrives at the hospital wishing there was something he could do. Marlena assures him that being there for the family is the best thing. She asks if there are any developments and he whips out the ring and shows her, which almost repulses her. He tells her they found it at EJ’s. Steve tells Hope that he thought he saw someone, but is probably just tired. Marlena and John talk about the ring and whether EJ could be a DiMera. Marlena thinks that John shouldn’t be involved in all this and begs him to let the police handle it. He tells her not to worry, he will be careful but she has a bad feeling that something will happen to him. But he says he cannot walk away from it. Bo and Sami arrive as Caroline tells her she is welcome…for Kayla needs all the prayers and support she can get…as Sami hugs her, telling her she is so sorry about everything. Roman asks Bo “what da hell” he brought her for and Bo explains what had happened earlier and how Sami helped them. Roman goes to her and she offers to leave, but he hugs her and tells her that he is proud of her (big hug). Hope explains to Bo about Nick’s idea and they hug…just as Patrick walks through the doors, glaring at Bo.

Steve sits with Kayla begging her to hang on, but asks what will happen when she learns the truth, fearing breaking her heart all over again. Bo asks Patrick why is he there and he says he is there to offer support to Hope. Bo tells Hope to get rid of him and she politely asks him to leave…this is about the Bradys. As he leaves, Bo follows him out into the hallway and tells him that they have new evidence and Eve Michaels practically named him as her killer. As he turns to go back to his family, Bo tells him to “have yourself a nice day” (LOL). Nick comes back to the waiting room and tells everyone that he has good news. They are developing a serum based on Kayla’s blood workup that she won’t reject…they just have to keep her hanging on until it gets there. There is joy all around. That joy is dashed quickly when a nurse whispers something to the doctor, who in turn tells them that there is a blizzard and that all commercial flights have been grounded. It could be 48 hours until the serum gets there. Marlena asks if it would be possible for a private plane to get clearance and suggests John’s jet. John says it’s worth a try and they rush off. Steve sits by Kayla and kisses her hand, begging her to hang in there. John thanks Marlena for her quick thinking…she just may have saved Kayla’s life. She turns and smiles at him and says “....and YOURS”…as the previews show…

Kayla (mumbling to Steve): Are you really starting to remember?...

Belle (to Willow): So as long as you are going to be here with Shawn…Claire won’t be…

Bo (to Hope): You and your baby are in a hell of a lot of danger…

John (to Marlena, in the plane): I think we are flying into the mouth of the storm…hold on to your seat…because we are in for a hell of a bumpy ride (as the plane shudders)…

Summary: Kate encourages Billie to move on…Kayla’s condition worsens…Sami tells EJ off as she and Lucas get closer…John questions EJ while Kate snoops.

At Sami’s…Lucas has come by with donuts, telling her they need to talk. They talk about what a fun day they had at the park and Sami reminds him how it all turned sour. But he is proud of Sami for keeping her cool and not lashing back at Lexie. Sami is just happy that Lucas and Will are giving her another chance. EJ arrives asking Sami where she has been and why she hasn’t returned any of his calls. She tells him that he is sleeping with the enemy and wants nothing to do with him. He tries to deny it but Sami whips out Kate’s bra that she found. Lucas calls him scum and warns him that if he lays another finger on his mother, he will rip that smug look off his face. Sami shows him the door rather quickly.

Later Lucas and Sami are enjoying their donuts as she talks about how EJ led her on. Lucas asks her what was her attraction to him…was he good in bed? Sami assures him that is not the only thing that attracts her to man and after Lucas shows a bit of his jealous side, Sami assures him that she wouldn’t know about EJ, since they never slept together, which seems to relieve Lucas. She still can’t believe that EJ told her to choose between him and Will. She says she should have listened to Bo, who tried to tell her that EJ was no good. She says she should have known that EJ was too good to be true. But Lucas calls him a moron…saying he doesn’t know what he is missing. She says she is sure that EJ has ulterior motives, she just wishes she knew what they were. Lucas tells her is just glad she didn’t get hurt. He cares about her…a lot. They talk about an upcoming school trip they are taking with Will and laugh about the last one (I think they went camping).

At the Cop Shop…Bo, Roman and John talk about Kayla being conscious due to Steve’s help. Another cop comes with a box of things they cleaned out from Patrick’s locker. They go through it and Bo finds a card with numbers on it. They check it against Eve Michaels’ bank account numbers and they match. Bo makes a call to check on Hope, but she is at the doctors (see below). He finds out that Patrick is with her, so doesn’t tell her anything. He tells her he was just calling to see how she was. After he gets off the phone, he tells the others maybe it was a good thing that Patrick was there, because everytime he tells Hope something about Patrick, he is there to make up lies to cover. This will force him to wait until they have more evidence against him.

At the Hospital…Hope and Patrick are with Dr. Bader having an ultrasound (I think). Dr. Bader recommends an amniocentesis but Patrick is adamantly opposed to that. It is here that she gets the call from Bo. After they hang up, Patrick asks what the hell he wanted. Dr. Bader tells Hope that they are finished and she leaves to let her get dressed. Patrick follows her and demands to know what the hell she is thinking. She tells him she is doing what is best for the mother and the baby. He asks if that test can determine paternity and she says yes, IF someone is looking for that. He says that NO ONE can know that the baby is Bo’s and she agrees, she sure doesn’t want anyone to find out what she has done…just look at Dr. Carver. Patrick asks if she is wanting more money and she asks if he is offering. He agrees, under one condition…SHE do the test and interpret the results. If not, then she is going down.

Kate and Billie meet…(for lunch or breakfast, not sure) and she asks Billie how she is doing…she can tells something is wrong. Billie tells her that she has lost Steve. Billie doesn’t touch her food and Kate wants details. Billie explains about Steve and Kayla still being in quarantine and how he remembers her. She is angry at herself for falling for him. Kate asks if she has talked to him about it and urges her to do so. But Billie says she is just being realistic. She knows that Steve wants to get back with Kayla, she overheard him say so. Kate urges her to be proactive and move on with her life. She says she needs to move on from men who don’t appreciate her.

Billie goes to the hospital and runs into Hope. Billie apologizes for what happened at the pub “the other day” (how long has it been?)…she says that Bo was just being a friend and letting her cry on his shoulder, when she was upset over Steve. Hope tells her not to worry about it…and that she knows that Billie meant a lot to Steve as well…he told her so.

In the Quarantine Room…Steve is by Kayla’s side as she is sort of drifting in and out of consciousness. She asks him if he remembers their first wedding and mumbles something about a charm (I think). He says of course he remembers as she continues to mumble. He tells her to go back to sleep. He steps away and asks what is he doing…he can’t keep lying to her. Stephanie comes by to see them and Steve gives her an update on her condition. She says she can’t wait for them all to be back together again as a family. But Steve cautions her that her mom is not well and still needs lots of care.

Billie comes by to see Steve, telling him that she has been busy. He pulls out the necklace for her. She tells him that it is beautiful but she can’t accept it because she knows he has gotten his memory back. He asks who told her and she tells him she overheard him talking to Kayla. He tries to explain but she cuts him off. Stephanie walks back in so Steve drops the conversation. Stephanie bluntly tells Billie that Steve belongs with her mom and Billie says yes he does. With that she leaves.

After Billie leaves, Stephanie tells him that Billie made the right choice and tries to assure him that she will land on her feet. Kayla wakes up and Steve goes to her. She starts telling him that she was dreaming about the ocean and then suddenly she can’t breathe. The alarms go off as the doctors rush in and she is having trouble breathing. Stephanie cries as Steve goes to her and tells her that everything will be okay through the glass. Hope is now there with Stephanie as she cries. The doctors tell them that her condition has worsened and her lungs are filling with fluid. He suggests that they notify the family. Stephanie balls as Steve tries to calm her down, telling her “daddy’s here”.

Bo meets up with John…in the surveillance van asking if there’s anything good on TV (LOL). They are watching EJ when Kate shows up. He asks her why the police are asking questions about him and she tells him that John is interested and told her to stay clear of him. Bo asks “what the hell is she doing?” and John says “just what I expected” as he smiles. EJ demands that Kate tell him everything she knows as Bo says they need to shut her up. Kate tells EJ that John suspects that he is behind the “gloved hand” crimes and somehow responsible for the car crash but he denies it all. EJ says that it is John and Bo that are on the wrong side of the law and is grateful for her help. John calls EJ and asks him to meet him for drinks at the Penthouse Grill. EJ’s interest is piqued so he tells him yes. Before leaving, John explains to Bo that Kate is working with him…he had asked her to tell him enough so that EJ would meet with him…and while he is gone, Kate is going to snoop around his apartment. But Bo thinks it is all a bad idea and doesn’t trust Kate. John leaves, telling Bo to keep an eye on Kate. He says that he may want to give her a warning call if EJ comes back early…tell her to jump in his bed or something (LOL).
John and EJ meet as John tells him he has been hearing a lot about him. He tells John to ask him anything, so John asks him if he has ever had any dealings with the Bradys. EJ says he has met some of them but no as far as business, however he did just hire Shawn Brady. EJ brings up Kate and John insinuates that EJ is using her. John also asks about Patrick and if he has any dealings with him. EJ is getting tired of all the questions and finally says he has to go. When he leaves, John calls Bo and tells him he is on his way and Bo tells him that Kate is still looking around. John returns to the van as Bo tells him he tried to call Kate but it went straight to voice mail. John is trying to call her as well as we see her snooping around in the apartment with EJ at the door. Bo says they have trouble…Kate just ran out of time…as the previews show…

Mimi (to Bonnie): I am worried about Patrick…what if all that money he had was stolen?...You may be in just as much trouble as he is…

Bo (to Patrick): Eve Michaels as good as named you as her killer (as Patrick glares)…

Steve (to unconscious Kayla): I don’t know what to do baby…I don’t really remember a damned thing…I don’t want to break your heart all over again…

John (to Marlena): Take a look at this (as he holds up a ring, I think Stefano’s Phoenix ring)…Marlena: Oh my gosh…where did you find that?...

Lots of apologies around town, as Nick manages to get Chelsea out of a jam, Belle & Shawn take their checks back to Victor, while Sami, Lucas & Will end their fun day out with dinner at Chez Rouge.

DUNE

Nick Fallon tries to pacify the bartender with a promise to pay for the broken glassware with his first paycheck. The bartender will have none of that, so Chelsea offers to wash dishes, which also is no deal. Nick talks on & on, making all sorts of excuses, claiming he knows the guy does not want to send Chelsea to jail, but yes he does. LOL. As he starts to call the cops, Nick jumps in again about giving people chances, and working things out to everyone’s advantage. The bartender keeps referring to Chelsea as Nick’s girlfriend, which Chelsea indignantly denies, repeatedly. The bartender finally admires Nick’s watch, wanting it in exchange. Nick just got it from his parents for graduation, & it is even has an inscription. It cost thousands….not exactly a fair exchange for $88 worth of glassware. The bartender decides to make a bet with Nick for the watch/glassware. He picks up a brandy snifter and an olive, small green one stuffed with pimento) telling Nick he has to get the olive inside the brandy glass without touching the olive. Nick studies the glass and olive on the bar for a few seconds….then agrees. Abby & Chelsea do not want him to do this….but he seems pretty confident. (So, o.k. I know how part of this is going to be solved, lol). The bartender asks if the watch has a stop watch on it…..and sets the watch for 2 minutes. Nick gets down to eye level with the olive & glass, then stands up, puts the glass upside down over the olive, (I knew that part, ha) and then proceeds to begin to move the glass in a circular motion, never lifting it up. As he does so, the olive begins to rise, and he goes a bit faster, telling everyone it is inertia. The crowd around them is chanting “Let’s go, Nick” (one wonders how they all knew his name, hmmmm), as the olive goes higher and higher in the glass. When it gets high enough, Nick quickly turns the glass over, and voila! The olive is in the bottom of the glass and Nick has not touched it. Everyone cheers, bartender agrees he has done it, and won the bet, giving him his watch back. Nick leaves, telling Chelsea he will see her around. Chelsea looks impressed. Abby & Chelsea follow Nick outside, but he is going home via cab, so he says, and tells them to stay and have a good time. The girls do not understand how Nick came up with the way to do the trick, but Nick says he & his college friends played those kinds of games all the time at the frat parties. Now Chelsea is impressed by him having belonged to a frat, but Abby lets her know it was a brainiac frat. LOL Abby tells Chelsea to thank Nick, which she finally does, in her own snippy way, even apologizing for calling him a geek, then leaves, telling Nick to lose the glasses. Abby tells Nick they had a good time, in a weird way, while he thinks Chelsea is amazing. Seems he never met a girl with a police record before, and it is like one never knows what Chelsea is going to do.

CHEZ ROUGE

Lucas, Sami & Will are having dinner, laughing over their fun day at the amusement park. Sami is blowing on a pinwheel, as they talk about the various rides, etc. At another table, Abe & Lexie are just finishing up their dinner, as Lexie spots Sami having a good time, and becomes upset. Lucas notes Abe & Lexie, warning Sami and telling her not to turn around. Lexie is angry, and bemoans her lot in life, having to prove herself over and over because of having Stefano for a father and Tony for a brother, so Abe figures it is a good time to give her an envelope that Bo gave him. It turns out to be a Thank You card from Caroline & Shawn Brady for all she had done to help Steve & Kayla. Lexie talks about them forgiving her, but continues to beat herself up. Abe gives her a pep talk, but she cannot stand seeing Sami having a good time, would like to heave the bottle of champagne at her. Meanwhile, Lucas is trying to encourage Sami to go over and apologize to Lexie. Will makes up an excuse to leave them alone, so they can talk. Lucas finally convinces Sami it would be the right thing to do, she agrees and goes over to the Carvers’ table. She says a few words to Abe, then turns to Lexie, telling her how sorry she is for what has happened between them. Lexie looks bored, and when Sami asks Lexie to forgive her, Lexie gives her a resounding No, telling her this will not get her job back. Abe looks rather surprised, but says nothing. Sami retaliates by telling Lexie she would not have been able to blackmail her, if she had been faithful to her husband, and not snuck around having an affair with Tek. Abe says this is over, and gets up, telling Lexie they will leave now. Sami apologizes to Abe, a couple of times. Sami turns, leaves for the ladies room. Lexie follows her. Sami is using a towel to dry her face, when Lexie comes up behind her, and gleefully pours a bottle of champagne on Sami’s head. Sami screams, Lexie laughs and goes back to her table, telling Abe what she had done. Abe is shocked, saying it was a $200 bottle of champagne. Lexie laughs & replies…..and worth every penny. Sami comes out, and goes to her table. Will has returned, and tells his mom she is wet. She claims she decided to take a champagne shower, and one has not lived til they try it. Lucas realizes all did not go well, but Sami says it is o.k. because she is with her family, and that is all that matters. Sami (whose hair is in a pony tail) squeezes some liquid onto Will, and they all laugh. They talk about what a good time they had today all together. Sami kisses Will, who does the awwww, mom, cut it out routine.

VICTOR’S OFFICE AT TITAN

Belle visits Victor, who is glad to see her. In comes Shawn, surprised to see her there, but both are very angry, and are returning Victor’s $10,000 checks to him. Shawn figures Victor wants something, and he does. He wants to be a part of Claire’s life. Victor & Shawn argue about Vic keeping the paternity secret, and Victor apologizes. They want to leave, but Vic asks them to stay, saying something about a new beginning. He talks about how he was not there for his daughter Isabella growing up (i.e. Victor did not know he was father of either Isabella or Bo til they were grown adults), and Belle is named after her. He bemoans also not being able to be there for Bo, and how he spent all those years in a nursing home when Philip was growing up. (Victor had a stroke) He tells them how he has hired a top private detective here in the U.S. and 6 others in Europe, and there is no trace whatsoever of Philip. He got off the plane at Kennedy airport, and disappeared off the face of the earth. He becomes emotional, and leaves the room. He returns shortly, telling them all he wants is to spend some time with Claire. Shawn wants to leave, and says no, but Belle tells him it is not his call, it is hers. Victor leaves for a meeting down the hall, and promises to be back soon. Shawn & Belle argue, as Belle tells him that she has spent every day with Claire, and how connected Claire is to Phil. She recites how when Philip left, her mother & father gave her money to buy diapers & toys for Claire, but what did Shawn do? Drives a car that does not belong to him thru the wall of a private home, and then risks his life at sea to impress a prostitute he picked up. She tells him that being partners means being able to trust, and she does not trust him.

Shawn wants to show her he has changed, tells her about his new job with EJ Wells, and how he is looking for an apt. in a good neighborhood. He fudges, saying the job is about being a mechanic, and gives her the lst child support payment. Belle is shocked, as it is a lot of money. Now Belle whines about she, herself, should have been getting a job. She talks about her dreams of being a designer. She asks Shawn if he is still staying at the Y with Willow, and lets him know in no uncertain terms that Willow selling her body for money is not the sort of influence she wants around Claire, and if Willow is there, Claire won’t be. Shawn assures her it will not be a problem. Victor returns, asking if he will be allowed to see Claire. Belle says, o.k., but as long as he abides by her rules. Belle & Shawn leave. Victor closes the door, with a very satisfied smile on his face. Freeze frame. (and an uh oh….what does Victor have in mind?) The previews roll…..

Kayla’s coming to brings family back to the hospital, Chelsea finds more trouble and her own Superman comes to her rescue, Bonnie denies taking Patrick’s money.

Chelsea arrives at the pub all decked out in a red dress to see “dad” (yup, she needs spending money for the night with her friends at Dune). Caroline warns her that Bo’s upstairs catching up on some much needed sleep and gives her all the cash in the tip glass. Instead of saying thanks, Chelsea whines that it’s not enough. Caroline suggests if she need more money to GET A JOB, but don’t disturb her father.

Billie and Bo are going at it hot and heavy..she only has her sweater off. They stop and realize this is NOT what they both want…they both want a relationship, but not with each other. He tells her that he considers her a friend and asks her to stay and do that novel thing called talking (so put your sweater on over your camisole to TALK Billie). Bo remains, in true Salem fashion, shirtless (just waiting for Chelsea to rush in). They sit at the head of the bed talking head to head as Chelsea arrives to the OPEN DOOR (c’mon on…not at the pub with mom strolling around) and takes a picture of them cozied together with her camera phone before leaving. She returns downstairs and assures Caroline she didn’t disturb dad with a sly grin as she looks at the picture on her phone. She thanks Caroline for the spending money and leaves. Caroline goes to get the tip money from the table, and realizes Chelsea took it.

Back upstairs the two finally put their tops on as he offers to talk to Steve for her, but she knows that would be awkward.


MAGGIE
It’s no wonder Mickey’s always working as Maggie’s taken another relative in to live with them, haha. The new arrival is Jessica’s son Nick Fallon (Jessica was Alice’s daughter Marie’s daughter..to read up on their history..check Dustin or Beth’s websites). Maggie has extended a night out on the town invitation to Nick on Abby’s behalf. She learns that Nick graduated Magna Cum Laude from Poly Tech and has already gotten a job with the Horton Foundation. We meet Nick, who looks and acts like super geeks are meant to look…frumpy mix matched clothes (brown plaid short sleeved shirt and bright blue sweater vest) and glasses. He gives cousin Abby a hug. She doesn’t think this is the best night to do this, saying she’s not staying out late. Nick is glad to hear that, because if he doesn’t get precisely 8 ¾ hrs. sleep a night, he’s a total mess the next day. He rushes upstairs to change (after saying how he loves to dance and had auditioned for America’s Got Talent). Abby pleads with Aunt Maggie about her cousin being a geek, but Maggie plays the family card. She reminds Abby that her own father was different, but Abby says he’s just unique. Maggie cites how Julia Roberts married Lyle Lovett and Abby clarifies for like a minute and a half (Julia’s a big DOOL fan, so will appreciate that mention I’m sure). Nick rushes downstairs dressed in the brightest blue suit possible and a print shirt opened up (think geek disco fans)…saying watch out for the Fallonator as he grabs Abby’s hand and pulls her out.

PATRICK’S

Patrick is freaking over the missing cash. He explains to Hope why it’s not in the bank (IRS, etc.) and somewhat blaming Bo. He says the $$ was for their trip and their baby. She laughs, saying he’s acting like a high school boy trying to impress his girlfriend. She reminds him that a relationship is based on love and support, not money. He agrees and says he knows her family doesn’t think he’s worthy of her and that’s why he’s trying harder. Hope gets a call from the hospital about Kayla waking up and after not even giving Bo two rings to answer his phone, rushes out to find him. She apologizes and Patrick is calm until she leaves the house, then throws something across the room in anger. Bonnie returns home with a shopping bag and Patrick asks her where his money is. She gives him something she found in the laundry and denies taking his other money, acting dumb about it. He said he had tens of thousands of dollars (and you stupidly left it in a box in the living room drawer?) Bonnie calls him on where he got the money. Changing the subject, he knows it wasn’t an outside job and Bonnie denies taking it. When he says Mimi was the only other one who knew about it, but knows she wouldn’t take it, Bonnie not only says she did, but says Mimi’s husband dumped her and she needed the money (ah, motherly love).

HOSPITAL
Steve encourages a newly woken Kayla when she starts gasping for air. The doctor and nurse (still in their space suits?) rush in to attend her as Steve watches anxiously. They inject some epi into her IV as Steve yells he can’t lose her again, he loves her. Surprised himself I think, the doctor said whatever he did, it gave her the strength to continue. He gives the nurse a phone number asking her to tell the Brady’s to get there fast, Kayla needs them.

DUNE
We find a totally embarrassed Abby sitting with Nick at Dune. He’s digging the music and tells her about his fraternity party days at college in upstate NY, showing her his PIKE ring, singing their little song about going to the mike at graduation. After his drink misses his mouth and he drenches his shirt, a new song starts and he HAS to dance to it and drags Abby to the dance floor..which clears out as they all watch him gyrate to the music. Abby is mortified as Nick does a combination DIRTY DANCING does REVENGE OF THE NERDS, LOL. Chelsea walks in and she and Abby exchange knowing looks (for those who haven’t read the news flashes…this is going to be Chelsea’s new beau). Showing off Nick does the splits and naturally we hear a riiiiip as he splits his pants, exposing his boxers. Chelsea is introduced to him and she point blank tells him she doesn’t date, much less talk, to geeks. She shows Abby the picture of her parents she took in bed and Abby suggests deleting it, but Chelsea plans on it being the first step to getting her family united. She pulls the tip money she lifted from the pub to go get one drink and Nick offers to buy the first round. He asks what kind of soda they like and Chelsea says she drinks Cosmos. She shows Abby her fake ID saying she’s 27 and Abby warns her of the consequences if the police find out. Chelsea tells Abby she sounds like Caroline and one has to take chances in life. After she goes to the bar, Abby tells Nick that Chelsea has a record (which she says getting longer by the day) after he tells her that judges are pretty lenient with first time offenders of a fake ID. The bartender cards Chelsea (who teases him that he just wants her phone number) and returns it to her saying he’ll make her a Shirley Temple, but that’s it and to go away little girl. She tells him that he’ll be sorry and runs into the waitress with a tray of drinks as she hops off the stool. The bartender warns her that she’s paying for them, thinking that’s what she meant by he’ll be sorry, as she panics. After helping the waitress, the bartender looks at the tab and says Chelsea owes him $88. She only has $10 and won’t give it to him, saying it was an accident. The bartender threatens to call the cops and Nick comes to the rescue. He tells the bartender she has a record and he can’t call the cops…can’t they work it out man to man? Chelsea smiles.

THE PUB
We return to Bo and Billie after they’ve finished dressing and she’s touching up her lipstick. Hope arrives and knocks on the door (when did it get closed?) and rushes into Bo’s arms when he opens it. She tells him Kayla’s awake and then seeing Billie sitting on the bed (fully dressed) apologizes for interrupting. Bo says it’s not how it looks and she tells them about Kayla’s awake, but not out of the woods. The nurse said the drug didn’t work, but Steve’s telling Kayla that he loved her brought her out of it. Camera pans to Billie’s crestfallen face.

Maggie went to the pub to visit Caroline and tells her how busy Mickey’s been (guess they’re reading how the fans are noticing his absence). Bo comes downstairs to tell Ma about Kayla waking up and needs her family. Caroline rushes off with Bo and Hope as Maggie and Billie chat. Maggie recognizes the look on Billie’s face and from one former addict to another, says Billie’s using Bo as a substitute. Billie tells Maggie that it’s over with Bo and now with Steve as he got his memory back. She had promised herself to step aside if Steve did that. She asks why she’s attracted to men who are attracted to other women? Maggie psycho analyzes she’s afraid of being caught. Maggie suggests Billie asks God for help in finding the right man for her.

HOSPITAL
Kayla opens her eyes and sees the space suited doctor and nurse over her. She freaks as she sees the needles coming towards her until the doctor explains who they are and what happened. She asks, pulling off her oxygen mask to be clear, how long she has until they find an antidote and he says 2-3 days. She asks where Steve is and they pull the curtain aside as he walks over. He tells her he’s glad she’s awake and how worried he’s been. He holds her hand and tells her she scared the hell out of him. She tells him she couldn’t have gotten through this without him as he stares down at her. Kayla tells Steve how hearing his voice brought her out of the fog and she fought so hard to get back to him.

She tells him no matter what happens now,she’s grateful just knowing that he remembered her/them. He assures her he’s got his memory back and she tells him that if she doesn’t make it, she’ll die happy knowing he remembered.

Bo, Caroline and Hope arrive and talk to Kayla through the speaker. They tell her Stephanie is coming as well as Pop with Frankie and Max. Kayla starts gasping and Steve puts the mask on her face and gets the doctor. Steve tells them her breathing is rough and she can’t stay awake very long due to the sedatives. He says Kayla’s mind is good and Bo tells Steve that knowing she and Steve have a future together is what’s keeping her going. Steve turns and stares at Kayla, probably wondering what he got himself into…as the previews roll…

LEXIE TO ABE (at restaurant glaring at Sami who’s eating with Lucas): Miss Samantha Gene Brady’s over there stuffing her face. I’d like to heave this champagne bottle straight at her head!

LUCAS TO SAMI: I apologized so why don’t you try to do the same thing with Lexie. March right over to that table to Lexie right now and say you’re sorry.

BELLE TO SHAWN: Victor is the only tie Claire has to Philip.
SHAWN: Philip is the one that walked out on that little girl.

ABBY TO CHELSEA: If it wasn’t for Nick, you’d be cuffed and in jail right now..as Chelsea smiles like a cat that just ate the canary….

Summary: SO much going on in this show…I could barely keep up! Shawn begins flashing his newfound money around town…desperate times lead to desperate measures for Bonnie…Patrick presses Hope to go away with him…Billie overhears Steve talking with Kayla…Mimi and Willow butt heads again…it’s a GREAT day for Steve and Kayla fans…but NOT so great for Bo and Hope fans.

At the Lockhart house…Mimi comes home with an armload of books as Bonnie asks her how she likes her new dress. Taking a page from the movie “Liar, Liar” Mimi tells herself that she is going to tell the absolute truth for a week (no matter who it hurts), tells her mother the dress is hideous, hurting Bonnie’s feelings. They argue over money as Bonnie says it’s just been so long since she has had anything new. They talk about how they are both broke…yet, says Mimi, Patrick is loaded. Bonnie’s ears perk up at that and asks what she means, so Mimi proceeds to take out the lock box and show Bonnie the wad of cash Patrick has squirreled away. Mimi fears that Patrick is involved in something bad and suggests that Bonnie talk to him and see what is going on, especially since Bo is watching his every move now. Bonnie refuses to talk to him and Mimi thinks that Bonnie just doesn’t want to know the truth. Mimi says she has to leave to go to work…at her OTHER job…Chez Rouge. As soon as she is gone, Bonnie keeps eying the money. She gets a call from Lauren (the surrogate) telling her she has a problem. Bonnie tells her she will be right over, and grabs the wad of cash and crams it into her purse as she heads out the door.

At the Y…Shawn is showing Willow all the money he has and how he earned it…making deliveries for EJ Wells. He says that now he can prove to everyone that he is capable of taking care of Claire. He talks about getting a new apartment and Willow asks if there will be room for her too. Shawn tells her he hadn’t thought about it but she presses on with her sob story about wanting a real place to live. He tries to explain, but she is offended, saying he doesn’t want to be living with an ex hooker. He feels bad and tells her he doesn’t care what everyone thinks. She says she wasn’t trying to manipulate him, but he ends up caving and says they will look for a place together. She is thrilled as they hug and fall to the bed.

Bo and Hope...are still at the pub (they had been working on notes for Steve). They get a bit caught up in the moment as Bo leans in for a kiss. Hope talks about all the great times and memories they had with Steve and Kayla. She talks about how much things have changed and sometimes it hurts to look back. Bo tells her that there is still hope for them…just as Patrick walks in and Bo glares at him. Hope asks him not to make a scene, and besides, she needs to talk to Patrick. Bo goes to the bar as Patrick says he has been looking for Hope but she hasn’t been returning his calls. She apologizes, saying she was pre-occupied with Steve and Kayla and needs to go back to the hospital. Patrick offers her a ride over and she accepts. She goes to tell Bo, but he has disappeared.

At the Hospital…Steve is keeping watch over Kayla when Billie arrives to see him (he drops the necklace into his pocket and never gives it to her). She promises to come and see him until he gets better and talks about how she can’t wait to touch him. She asks him what is wrong and he tells her that he is just in a lot of pain and worried about Stephanie and how she is taking all this. He feels bad that he can’t help her or Kayla. He tells Billie to go home and get some rest. As she goes to leave, she tells a nurse she is just going to get something to eat, but will be back later. Steve goes back to Kayla’s side and holds her hand.

Later, Hope and Patrick are at the hospital and run into Billie in the hallway. Hope asks her if she liked the necklace as Billie doesn’t have a clue what she is talking about. Hope explains and apologizes for ruining the surprise but Billie is excited to hear that Steve thought of her. Hope takes all the notes she and Bo wrote and gives them to Steve. He is thrilled, thanking her. She tells him that she will keep working on it and write down anything else she remembers. She thinks that maybe there will be something in there as well to jog Steve’s memory. Steve says he hates that he can’t remember Kayla but he vows he will not walk out on her when she needs him most.

Back at the Pub…Shawn meets up with Bo and offers him some money to help repay his debt on the Fancy Face. He brags about how he is going to be making enough money now to handle all his responsibilities. Bo asks just HOW MUCH EJ is paying him to work on cars. Bo thinks there is something more to it than Shawn is letting on, but Shawn sticks to his story. Bo asks him if he sees / hears anything suspicious concerning EJ to please let him know. He tells Shawn to keep his money, the insurance is taking care of the boat. Bo also has an envelope for Shawn from Victor. Shawn doesn’t want it, but Bo convinces him to take it and at least see what it is. So Shawn shoves it in his pocket and leaves.

At Chez Rouge…Willow and Mimi go head to head as Willow brags about Shawn’s new job and how much money he is making. Willow calls Mimi “desperate” for working 2 jobs and Mimi says at least she isn’t selling her body. Willow says that is good, because she would starve to death (lol). Willow brags about how she will be “moving on up” with Shawn, for now they are looking for an apartment together. Mimi doesn’t believe her, but Willow elaborates. Mimi informs her that there is no way Belle will let Claire be around Willow. Willow tells her not to lecture her about her morals…for Mimi is worse…at least she didn’t hurt someone intentionally. Mimi tells her that Shawn’s heart belongs to Belle and once he has Claire back in his life, Belle will follow. Willow says “we’ll see about that” but Mimi tells her that Shawn may be enjoying the sex for now, but she can’t keep him from Claire and Belle and eventually he will kick her to the curb. Later, Shawn arrives and is greeted by Mimi, who tells him that she knows all about him and Willow and that she knows Belle will be thrilled to hear about it as well. He tells Willow he is there to give her a ride home and she thinks that is sweet. She sees the envelope in his pocket and asks about it. He opens it to find a check for $10,000. Willow is all excited about it but he says he is not going to keep it…Victor can’t buy him off (as Mimi listens to all this from around the corner).

Outside the Pub…Bonnie meets up with Lauren. Bonnie begins to butter her up, telling her how beautiful she looks, but Lauren reminds her she is in this for the money…and now, she wants MORE…lots more…due to unforeseen complications. It seems she had to quit her job and that Bonnie is going to have to support her. Bonnie tries to reason with her, but Lauren says she had better come up with the money, or say goodbye to her grandchild. Bonnie pulls the wad of cash out of her purse and asks if that will do. Lauren says it’s a start.

Hope and Patrick go back to his place for a bite to eat and he starts pressing her on an answer about going to Chicago with him. By the look on her face, you can see she has totally forgotten about it and tells him that she can’t go because of family issues. He tells her that the Bradys are not her family anymore and she needs to take care of their baby. She corrects him, telling him that the Bradys will ALWAYS be family and that she is concerned about Kayla. He asks her if he interrupted anything at the pub and she tells him that she and Bo were reminiscing about old times with Kayla and Steve. He continues to push her about their trip and she stalls, but finally tells him yes. Then he wants to know when, but she only says soon. She wants to make sure Kayla is ok first. She finally tells him okay, but he must promise not to tell Bo…he is dealing with a lot right now. He finally promises her he won’t tell (yea right) and wants to make arrangements. He says he wants everything planned out…only the best for her. She tells him not to spend his money on her and he says he has plenty…don’t worry about it. He glances over at the desk and sees the drawer open, then rushes over there, takes out his cash box and sees that all the money is gone.

Back at the hospital…Billie returns to visit Steve and overhears him talking to Kayla (he has his back to the window) telling her he has his memory back and how much he loves her. He tells her that Stephanie was right and he needs her. He begs her to get well and come back to him. With tears in her eyes, Billie turns off the intercom and turns away.

Back at the Pub (I guess)…Bo is lying across the bed in the dark drinking, holding a picture of him and Hope. There is a knock at the door and he opens it to find Billie in tears. He asks her what’s wrong and she tells him that Steve has his memory back. Bo is happy to hear that it worked and tells her that he and Hope were helping him. Billie says she knew this would happen but she wouldn’t listen. She cries on his shoulder talking about how close she and Steve were getting. Bo tells her he knows how she feels and goes on to tell her about Patrick interrupting him and Hope earlier. Bo says maybe he is kidding himself. Billie takes the blame for ruining his marriage but he tells her it’s not her fault as he puts his hand on her shoulder. She turns around and they start kissing as they fall to the bed.

Back at the hospital…Steve flips through the notebook and tells Kayla the memories he thinks she needs to hear. He talks about her giving him a pool cue and them playing for kisses. He begs her to wake up as he continues to flip through the notes and kisses her hand. He talks about Australia and how they went there to rescue Stephanie from nutty Sheila (I don’t have a clue what he is talking about) and then he talks about their favorite song. He wishes he had his harmonica there, he would play it for her. He struggles to remember the words as he begins to hum the tune to “The Rose”. He remembers the last few lines and sings them…

“Just remember in the winter, far beneath the bitters snows…
lies the seed that with the sun’s love…in the spring becomes the rose”…

Camera on Kayla’s face as her eyes flutter open and she turns her head toward him. Shocked look on Steve’s face as he looks at her and says “Kayla?!!”…and the previews show…

There is some goofy guy (it will turn out to be Joshua Fallon) saying to Abby and Maggie: Dune…get ready for the ‘Fallonator’…let’s get jiggy with it…(as he grabs Abby by the arm)…

Kayla (to Steve): I can’t go through this without you…

Patrick (to Hope): I want you to trust me…I will be there for you and the baby…no matter what…

Bo (lying with Billie on the bed): Kind of full circle and being friends again after all these years (as Chelsea watches through the cracked door, smiling)…

It’s nighttime in Salem, but our Salemites are working away (making up for lost years of not doing so?) at the garage, at Titan, etc., while Bo and Hope brainstorm Kayla and Steve memories (as we’re treated to seeing them as well). Belle realizes she has to take charge of her life as Sami makes an interesting discovery. Good show..try to watch if you can.

MAX’S GARAGE
Mimi and Max chat about her job. He asks if she took it as a way to get back with Shawn. She tells him she knows what’s done is done and asks Max to give Shawn a break.

THE PENTHOUSE
Belle tells Marlena about her chat with John as he suggested she draw up a list of conditions for Shawn to be a part of Claire’s life. It dawned on her that she’s asking Shawn to do something she isn’t even doing herself. She’s a single, unemployed mother and frankly, it scares her to death (isn’t that a bit dramatic when your father is so rich?)

THE PUB
Bo meets up with Hope at the Pub. He apologizes for not meeting her sooner, but he had his cell turned off at the hospital. He asks if she and the baby are okay and she acknowledges that, saying she’s worried about Steve and Kayla (as she sips a big milkshake). She explains Steve’s epiphany for his feelings for Billie and how she encouraged him to give Kayla something to live for until they can find a drug she’s not allergic to.

LOCKHART HOME
Patrick is surprised to find Shawn at his front door bearing an envelope for him. He opens it and reads EJ’s note explaining Shawn’s their new courier and recommends Patrick pay Shawn $500 to keep his allegiance. He questions Shawn about this new job or if Bo put him up to it, but Shawn says EJ hired him and he needed the money. Patrick doesn’t have a reply message, but complies with EJ’s recommendation about paying Shawn regardless and pulls out a money box loaded with $20 bills (ATM special?) He hands the money to Shawn hoping he doesn’t mind all 20’s and Shawn doesn’t care, saying the baby needs new clothes (yeah, Claire’s rolling around in rags in the penthouse, LOL..maybe they can recycle that headband into a nightie) In true Salem fashion, the front door wasn’t closed all the way and Mimi arrived home just in time to see her brother paying Shawn the money. Outside she asks Shawn about the money and not even raising his voice, says he earned it or something and leaves. Inside Mimi confronts her brother about the money and Patrick’s stash. He explains it as stock investments when she calls him on being thrown out of the academy and mentioning the plane she heard he hired. He admitted it was true and she calls him on his lecture about honesty he gave her, hoping he’s taking his own advice. (Is that a double headed Phoenix on his shirt? Nobody has said anything about that to him if so. He leaves and Mimi opens the drawer and taps on the money box.

OUTSIDE THE APARTMENTS…
John sits in his borrowed satellite truck that he borrow from Kate. He gets an eyeful watching Kate and EJ going at it inside EJ’s apartment (yes, Boston Legal fans..another “peepy”), LOL. John calls Bo to tell him about an interesting development and asks him to join him in the truck (where’s the popcorn?). Bo apologizes to Hope, saying he has to go and she says she has to get back to the hospital too. Saying this was her second lunch anyway, LOL, she grabs some food off her plate to eat on the way to the door as he helps her with her sweater.

THE APARTMENTS
Sami arrives home and pauses outside EJ’s apartment door. She pounds on the door calling his name and Kate tells him to answer the door as she slithers into the bedroom. When he opens the door, she asks him why the cops want him. John’s frustrated response is “Sami, what the hell are you doing?” as he watches from the van (probably upset Bo will miss the heavy breathing action).

BACK TO THE HOSPITAL
Steve is sitting next to Kayla’s bedside, stroking her face, giving her encouragement. Stephanie is rolled up outside the window. She apologizes to him for her earlier outburst and stresses how mom can’t die. She tells him he has to give mom a reason to live. Mom’s never given up on him and he’s let her down. She has the nurse take her back to her room. Hope arrives and shows Steve the necklace she got for him for Billie. He thanks her and says he needs another favor, this time for Kayla. He tells her about Stephanie’s visit and thinking Kayla might respond if he talks about their past with her, asks Hope to generate a list of things she knew about him and Kayla. With tears of happiness in her eyes, Hope readily agrees and says she and Bo will sit down together and create that list for him. Steve thanks Hope and she tells him no, thank you. And maybe these memories will help you remember too.

Elsewhere, Victor and Lucas chat. Victor asks if Lucas has hired Carrie’s replacement yet as he has a meeting he’d like to attend with the new employee. Lucas apologizes for not having done that yet, but will get right on it. Victor then hands a manila envelope to Lucas, asking he deliver to Belle. Philip sent it to Victor for Belle being he didn’t know where she’s staying. He asks that Lucas tell Belle that Philip sent the envelope to him as he knows she’d not accept it if she knew it came from him. Lucas agrees.

BACK IN THE SURVEILLANCE VAN
Bo joins John and gets briefed on what’s going on. They both watch as Sami confronts EJ about why Uncle Bo was asking about his fingerprints on the envelope she had tested. Bo is trying to subliminally tell Sami to shut up as they watch helplessly (uh, call her cell phone and distract her perhaps?) Upstairs EJ tries to get Sami to leave, saying she chose Lucas over him (she corrects him saying she chose WILL over him) and notices a woman’s article of clothing on the couch. She asks who’s in the bedroom (is it really your concern?) as we see Granny Kate listening in from the doorway. The two peepys talk. Bo can’t believe Sami went to EJ after he talked with her and he and John exchange looks saying..okay, they believe it. John tells Bo about Kate’s romantic involvement with EJ and Bo comments that it’s been a while since he and Kate broke up, but John’s still worried about her safety and wants to warn her. Bo disagrees, saying look what happened with Sami, but John feels Kate will be discreet if asked.

BACK TO THE PENTHOUSE
Marlena rationalizes that Belle is still grieving the loss of her baby and her marriage. She says she and Claire are welcome there as long as they want. Belle appreciates that, but needs a plan. When she had post partum depression after having Claire, Philip took charge and it’s only been recently that she’s felt maternal. She realizes she wasn’t ready to be pregnant and had dropped out of school. She doesn’t want to run to daddy now when she needs help and needs to explore her options. Ding dong..it’s Lucas at the door. He hands her the envelope from Philip, only saying he was asked to deliver it to her. She invites him in and apologizes for interrupting. Marlena shrugs it off and gladly complies when Belle asks her to check on Claire..the non-stop sleeping baby. She opens the envelope to find signed divorce papers and a $100,000 settlement check. They talk about how both of their marriages didn’t work out due to lies and raising their children alone. He says Sami is interested in EJ Wells and when Belle asks if he and Sami will ever get back together, sensing his feelings toward her sister, Lucas says never. Belle said if she’s learned nothing else, she’s learned never to say never.

Later Marlena returns downstairs to report Claire’s all tucked in. Belle fills her in on what Philip sent her..signed divorce papers and buy out money, saying he didn’t need to send that as the baby isn’t even his. Marlena is surprised, not realizing that Philip had access to that kind of money. Wise Belle knows he didn’t and Victor did. She’s not going to let him interfere.

BACK TO EJ’S APARTMENT
Sami sits on the couch and discreetly grabs the bra on the couch before EJ tells Sami she made her choice and strong arms her out the door. Kate steps out of the bedroom saying the moment is over and she has work to do..but can’t find her bra. In the hallway Sami notices the bra is monogrammed, surprising even her…and realizes it’s Kate’s.

She runs into Lucas outside and when he asks if she and EJ are back together..she flaunts Kate’s bra saying no, he’s sleeping with someone else…your mother!

BACK TO THE PUB
Hope rushes in, grabbing her mid section (pregnancy pillow slipping?) and joins Bo in a booth. He’s washing down on a burger and fries with some beer (I gotta start eating breakfast before doing EE, they’re driving me crazy!) She excitedly tells him about Steve’s suggestion about memories of his and Kayla’s. Bo is anxious to help and Hope whips out her notepad and pen, asking if he’s ready to go down memory lane. She mentions starting from the beginning, but he figures Victor hiring Patch to go to Cincinnati to scare Kayla should be left out. Next they talk about Stockholm and she says it was a horrible time for them. Bo found out Victor was his father and she miscarried. Steve was there for her then…and Bo comments he wasn’t. Steve encouraged her to fight for her marriage. Bo remembers Marlena was captured by Orpheus and Steve was on the run after being accused of killing Brita (all these storylines can be found on Dustin and Beth’s websites…link to them is on the Early Edition website). Bo tells Hope (who’s eyes are practically sparkling) that all the time they were helping their friends, they found their way back to each other. Then smiling he says Hope found time to be matchmaker during all of that. We’re treated to a flashback as Hope remembers talking to Kayla when Patch was sleeping. She tells Kayla about how Steve is like Bo and tough on the outside, but soft on the inside. To encourage her further, she tells Kayla how Patch was calling out for her despite his pain. Back to present she tells Bo that Kayla never gave up on Steve and thank God he’s not giving up on her now. Bo smiles and puts his hand on Hope’s as they exchange smiles. Later he remembers when he and Steve (both with a lot longer hair styles) insist they’re both looking out for their families and Bo telling Steve to back off. Back to present Bo says it’s funny how we’re bringing up their memories as well as Kayla and Steve’s. Bo tells Fancy Face he misses her.

Shawn arrives at the hospital and Max offers him his old job back. Shawn tells him he got a job with EJ Wells as he pulls out a wad of bills. Max said he was going to up his salary, but that’s a lot of money for working on cars. Shawn walks away, straight into
Victor. He offers to help Shawn out. Shawn spits back that Victor is no longer his grandfather and is nothing to him.

MAX’S GARAGE
Mimi’s back at work and tells Max his books are a mess. Sensing his disinterest, she asks about Kayla. He says they only give her 48 hours unless another antidote can be found. Mimi gets up to give him a hug. Her brothers mean everything to her and she can only imagine what he’s going through. He tells her about running into Shawn at the hospital and worried about the wad of cash, hoping he’s not running drugs.

STEVE AND STEPHANIE
Stephanie returns and Steve apologizes and promises to do everything he can to help her mom.

BACK TO THE VAN….
John grabs Kate into the van and she learns he was watching EJ’s place. She asked if he watched everything and he says he turned the monitor off after a while “Mrs. Roberts” (remember Mrs. Robinson in THE GRADUATE), LOL. She asks him if it’s going to be good enough for the internet John? He grimaces, like undecisive, haha. He recommends she keep her distance from him, saying EJ’s dangerous. Kate offers to help, saying if she’s working with him she can watch his every move. John says no, and she leaves, slamming the door on him when he smirkingly tells her to get some rest. She calls EJ outside the van on her cell and he answers..hello darling…She tells him John Black is asking questions about him and they have to talk…as the previews roll….

BONNIE TO MIMI: I’m not going to confront my son like he’s some sort of criminal.
MIMI: You just don’t want to confront him because you don’t want to know the truth.

BILLIE TO HOPE: Steve got me a necklace?
HOPE: Yeah
BILLIE: I’m thrilled that he thought of me.

STEVE TO KAYLA: There’s a lot more kisses where than came from, all you have to do is wake up.

SHAWN TO BO: The amount of money I’m going to be making, I can take care of all my responsibilities.
BO: How much is Well’s paying you?

Summary: John goes undercover and finds out something interesting…EJ offers Shawn a job, disturbing Bo…Marlena and Billie talk…Stephanie lashes out at Steve for not doing enough to help Kayla.

At the Pub…Kate is looking for EJ when Marlena and John show up. John thanks Kate for deserting Basic Black for the competition but needs a favor from her. He wants to borrow one of Mythic Communications’ satellite trucks to do some surveillance work for the police. Kate questions him about it, but he doesn’t say much. Marlena says this is the first she has heard of it as he explains it just came up and he can’t talk about it right now. Kate finally gives him a number to call to arrange things…as long as she has exclusive rights to the story. After Kate leaves, Marlena is a bit upset with him, noting that she thought they were working together. But, he says, it could get dangerous even though he assures her he will be fine, but she thinks he just likes the adventure. He goes to explain things to her, but she really doesn’t want details…she just wants him to promise that he will be careful and not to take any unnecessary risks. He says that they can’t live their lives in fear, but she is just worried about him and is happy that they are back together and reminds him that she needs him…as well as Belle and Claire. He promises that he will always be there for them. Kiss, kiss. She also reminds him that he owes her a wedding and she can’t go around marrying dead guys.

At Chez Rouge…Shawn meets with EJ, thinking he is there to grovel for a job as a mechanic. EJ tells him that he does have a job, but not as a grease monkey. He has something else in mind. He tells him that he must use complete discretion and must be confidential. He tells him to pledge his loyalty, which Shawn does as EJ explains that he is working on a top-secret business deal and not even Kate can know about it. He explains that he will be delivering sealed documents between him and another party and promises that he will be rewarded well for his work. Shawn wants to know who the other party is and EJ tells him it is Patrick Lockhart. Shawn says he has no problem with Patrick personally, but his dad hates him and reminds him about his and Mimi’s past. Shawn asks how much it pays and EJ says he will be paid by the assignment…$500 for each delivery. With dollar signs in his eyes, Shawn says yes…as EJ hands him an envelope for his first assignment and pays him. EJ gives him a story to tell people if they ask what he is doing for him…as a consultant on his race car. Shawn happily takes the envelope and money and leaves.

At the Hospital…Everyone is staring at Steve and Kayla through the glass, when the doctors close the blinds, upsetting everyone, Stephanie in particular. They ask the doctor about it and he explains that Kayla had an allergic reaction to the drugs and it caused cardiac arrhythmia. He says that her condition may deteriorate unless they can find another antedote, but they are doing everything possible. Bo tries to get Shawn and Caroline to go home and rest and asks Billie to drive them. Frankie also talks Stephanie into going back to her room and rest. Before Billie leaves, she tells Steve where she is going. After everyone leaves, Bo and Hope are left. She tells Bo she wishes she knew what was going on in Steve’s head…saying he could make a difference in Kayla’s recovery. She wants Bo to talk to him, but Bo points out that he and Steve have butted heads over Kayla before and maybe Hope would have better luck, and she agrees. She calls him over to the window as he talks about being in a fish bowl and says that he knows everyone would be happier if it were Kayla doing better instead of him and he wishes he could do something for her. Hope assures him that they are BOTH family and they want both of them to get well. He talks about how Stephanie wants him to fall back in love with her mother and he would if he could. He says he knows he isn’t saying what Hope wants to hear but it’s the best he can do. He says he hopes he will remember someday. But in the meantime, he wants Hope to do him a favor…then proceeds to ask her if she would go out and buy a gift for Billie…from him. Hope stares. He begs her to do it for him and she reluctantly agrees. After Hope leaves, the doctors and nurses come rushing into the room to check on her and page Dr. Myers. Steve tells her to hang in there.

Bo and Hope meet up as Shawn comes in asking about Steve and Kayla. They fill him in and suggest that he visit Stephanie. Bo asks if he has talked to Max yet and Shawn explains he is not going back to work for him…he found a different job, working for EJ Wells. Hope tells them she needs to run an errand for Steve and leaves. Bo questions Shawn about his new job (remember, Bo knows that EJ is in cahoots with Patrick) and is upset, telling him he would be better off working for Max. But Shawn doesn’t want to hear it and he won’t walk away from this job. Bo finally tells him that there is suspicion surrounding EJ and that he is under investigation. But Shawn says until there is proof that he has done something wrong, he will be working for him and leaves in a huff.

Billie takes Shawn and Caroline back to the pub and runs into Marlena there. She fills her in on their condition as they sit and talk. Billie talks about how the Bradys seem to just stand around and stare at Steve and how uncomfortable it makes him. Billie explains that she and Steve are interested in each other, but how reluctant she is to get involved with yet another Brady. She says that she hurt Hope and doesn’t want to do the same to Kayla. She says that if Steve remembers her, she will be more than happy to get out of the way. Marlena tries to convince her it’s not her fault she has fallen for Steve and reminds her that he and Kayla have been apart for years. Billie can’t believe how understanding Marlena is but she cites Carrie and Austin as an example. She tells her (as a psychiatrist) the chances of Steve remembering are slim and then goes on to talk about how when John first came to Salem, he didn’t have his memory either…and now look at them. Marlena says that Kayla is a strong woman and has lived most of her life without Steve. But Billie says she isn’t strong now. Marlena tells Billie she shouldn’t feel guilty over her feelings.

Back at the hospital, Stephanie has Frankie take her back to see her folks. Steve comes over to the window to talk to her but she lashes out at him, saying it’s all his fault. Frankie tries to calm her down, but there is no shutting her up. She yells at him to put herself in Kayla’s shoes, talking about how SHE never stopped loving HIM and how happy she was to learn he was alive. Now, look at her…lying there dying and he doesn’t even care. She asks why her mother ever loved him at all. He says he does care for her, so Stephanie tells him to do something about it…anything…talk to her…give her a reason to live. He is the only one who will be able to get through to her. She begs him to at least try.

At EJ’s…Kate goes over all upset over all the bills they are incurring over Stephanie’s accident. But first, EJ wants her to do something for him. She asks what he wants and explains that the Salem PD is asking about him, particularly Bo Brady. He knows that he has been questioning Sami. He pours on the charm, telling Kate he needs her help in getting info, find out why the police are suspicious of him. He wants to take advantage of the fact that she is friendly with Roman. Well, Kate says, they are friendlier now than when they were married (LOL). She says, however that she is not comfortable with that but he reminds her that they are business partners…what affects him…affects her. She relents and says she will see what she can find out. She wants something in return…HIM. She starts making her move on him as they start undressing and sucking face. Meanwhile, John is in the satellite truck setting up equipment. They are going at it hot and heavy on the sofa as John turns on the camera equipment and sees them. He stares in shock and says “Damn it Kate…what have you gotten yourself into this time?...” as the previews show…

Belle (to Marlena): I am a single, unemployed mother…and honestly mother, that scares me to death…

Mimi (to Shawn): What’s going on between you and my brother…and why did he give you all that money? (Shawn): I gotta run…

Sami (to EJ): Who is she EJ?...There’s someone in your bedroom…

Shawn (to Victor): I don’t need your money, sympathy or anything else for that matter…you are no longer my grandfather…
